Words cannot fully express how grateful we are for Nikki and her incredible team. Planning a destination wedding is hard work but Nikki carried that weight so that we didn’t have to. She was attentive, thorough, and on top of every detail every step of the way. The result was an excellent, seamless, and truly memorable wedding celebration. We were able to enjoy every single moment worry-free because we knew we were in the very best hands. Nikki does not just plan weddings, she creates experiences. Nikki and her team made my wedding the best day of my life! Every detail was above and beyond my expectations! The day couldn't have been more perfect. From the food to the wedding arbor, the gorgeous bridal suite, and the custom music on the beach! Nikki made every dream come true! She has a way of making you feel incredibly calm through the nerves!

We had the most amazing experience with Island Sands Beach Weddings in Destin, Florida! From start to finish, they made the wedding planning process easy, fun, and completely stress-free. Every detail was handled with care, professionalism, and a clear passion for what they do — and it truly showed on our big day.
The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and enjoyed by all our guests. The setup was stunning —exactly what we envisioned, if not better! From the ceremony decor to the reception layout, everything looked like it was straight out of a dream. The dessert (cake pops) was not only gorgeous but also so good we’re still getting compliments on it.
The DJ, Dan, kept the energy up all night, reading the crowd perfectly and making sure everyone had a blast. Our officiant, who was also Dan, delivered a heartfelt, personal ceremony that felt incredibly meaningful and memorable.
And then there’s Nicki, our coordinator — what an absolute gem! Nicki went above and beyond for us throughout the entire year leading up to the wedding. She was always organized, responsive, and thoughtful. On the day of the wedding, she handled every detail behind the scenes with such grace that we were able to be completely present and soak in every moment, knowing everything was in the best hands.
We can’t thank Island Sands Beach Weddings and Nicki enough for giving us the perfect day. If you're considering a beach wedding in Destin, this is the team you want by your side!

In planning a wedding out of town, you really wonder what you are going to get or how much a company will give. I am so grateful to have chosen this team, they were absolutely on top of everything and very responsive throughout the process. The day off, everything was taken care of, and Nothing was left undone. They stayed throughout the entire event, and ensured that everything was packed up just as organized as it initially was. Also loved the flexibility of making so many choices, do make our event custom and what we wanted. We used and were extremely pleased with their planning services, catering, DJ, officiant, bakery and florist. -

Island Sands Beach Wedding made all my wedding dreams come true. Nicki and her team are truly the best people to work with when planning a wedding from another state. During the planning process they made everything as stress free as possible. Every time I would reach out to them with questions they would quickly respond and put my mind at ease. No question or concern was every too big or too small. I knew from working with them on all the wedding plans that they would also be amazing when it came to the actual wedding day, but they even exceeded my expectations for the day off! Nicki is amazing at what she does and calmed all my nerves when it came to the day of our wedding. She did everything she could to make my dream wedding happen even with inclement weather in the forecast. I cannot thank Nicki and her team enough for being willing to make last minutes changes to meet our expectations. I never had to worry about one detail because they were always one step ahead of me. All of the vendors were amazing and the food was incredible! I got the perfect beach wedding with the most perfect beach pictures. I can't say enough about Nicki and her amazing team (especially Callie). Our wedding process took a little bit longer than expected due to COVID-19 making us reschedule to a later date. Nicki & Callie were there every step of the way, answering all of my million questions. Very accommodating with our rescheduling needs. Literally communicated with several different vendors and handled everything within those aspects. It was seriously the best and most smooth process I could have imagined. They definitely made this process stress free! I went with a very simple look for our ceremony & reception but it was absolutely perfect! I wouldn't recommend anyone other than Island Sands Beach Weddings. You definitely won't regret it.
DJ Owtkass was AMAZING! He was so much fun & kept everyone on the dance floor. Every one of our guests commented on how awesome he was. He even had my husbands grandparents on the dance floor getting down. A future bride in our family is even requesting him to travel for her wedding. Highly recommend requesting DJ Owtkass for your reception. So much fun! -

I was planning a destination wedding in the area and I super nervous about booking/planning everything from a distance. I came across Island Sands Beach Weddings and I am sure glad I did! I booked them for our ceremony that was on 01/25/2020 and it was absolutely gorgeous! Nicki and her team are absolute rock stars! They were very responsive to every question I had and they were able to meet every single one of my needs! I couldn't have imagined a prettier more perfect ceremony. We had a brief rehearsal the day before and the day of was such a breeze! I also booked the officiate, hair, makeup, & photography through Island Sands Beach Weddings and every single one of the vendors was amazing! I have absolutely zero complaints! I would highly recommend Island Sands Beach Weddings as a vendor! -

A really great company to work with. They handled my officiant, DJ, ceremony coordination, videography, and answered all my emails in a timely manner. They helped to relieve as much stress as possible with the ceremony portion of my wedding and I am so grateful for all their hard work at making my destination wedding an incredible day! -

Planning a destination wedding can be stressful but Callie, Nicki and the rest of the team made it so stress free! They responded to my million questions quickly and always made me feel like I was the only bride every time they talked to me! And i know how busy they are! We were faced with storms on our wedding day and Nicki text me that morning and called my midday to assure me she was keeping an eye on weather and told me not to stress and sure enough we had sunny skies come wedding time! Nicki was great, knowledgeable and so easy to work with! There aren’t enough thanks!! If you’re wanting a beach wedding- this is the company you want!! -

Chris Sent on 11/22/2017Nicki was amazing. Hands down. Super flexible throughout the process and obviously very busy helping many other people with their wedding planning. We certainly had some stress throughout our planning, but I can't imagine being her and planning and executing 5 or 6 at a time. Yet she was always responsive and super calm which helped us a lot. The planning and all of the work leading up to the big day aside...we had worries about how it would all actually come together. Hurricane Nate hit the gulf coast 2 hours after our beach ceremony and the winds were at least 50mph during. Nicki didn't care was still out on the beach trying to spread rose petals for my bride to walk through (many of them blew away but it was the effort that was special). This was just one example of many things she did to go over and above. Despite the hurricane, we were grateful that she was still willing to put her arbor, chairs, signs, baskets, etc etc out knowing they may have gotten ruined. Luckily someone was looking out for us and we were spared any heavy rain during the ceremony!
She made sure everyone was in their place at the right time, in the right order and knew what was going on. She made sure we had a drink in our hand when we walked into the reception, carried my bride's shoes and dress when necessary, and made sure we ate! Took the initiative to have someone box up our desserts and gather our personal belongings for us and put them in a pile at the end of the night. the list goes on and on.
The little things made a huge difference and she was the X factor.
Food: hats off to the chef at Royal Palm Grille - coming from New York we were not sure about our choice of buffet for the wedding. This was not your typical wedding food - had great flavor and nice variety. We chose the South Beach buffet. Try the fish!
If you end up doing business with Nicki, take her advice and you will not be disappointed. -

Darby Sent on 07/29/2015Nicki is very good at what she does and on the day of the wedding everything turned out beautiful. I was a little bit unsatisfied during planning because she did not always get back to me in a timely manner and gave the vibe that i was inconveniencing her. The day before the wedding she called to say that she could not get some of the flowers for the bouquet that we had ordered a month prior and were assured would be available. not a big deal, but still frustrating. I had the feeling that because we only spend $2500 with her, we were at the bottom of her importance list. I'm sure that is just how the industry goes. The day of though, everything was just perfect.
