    Look no further, this is your planning team!

    Liz and Sarah at Island Life Events are the absolute best in the business, and it's not even close. From the very first call all the way through our big day, Liz and her team turned what could have been a very complicated planning process into an extremely easy and stress-free experience.

    Liz listened to all of our ideas and hopes for our vision, drew up a comprehensive plan, took all of our feedback into consideration, and, most importantly, was completely honest and transparent the whole way through. We knew that we could move forward with confidence in every detail of our wedding plan because Liz would let us know with full sincerity what would work, what wouldn't work, which vendors were worth their cost, and which weren't.

    She managed all of our communication between vendors with the highest level of professionalism and urgency. We worked with a venue that had extremely poor communication, but Liz stayed on them and pressed for replies and answers when they otherwise wouldn't.

    Without Liz and Sarah, our wedding day would not have been the massive success that it turned out to be. It was such a pleasure to work with them, and I will miss talking to them regularly!

    ILE: Sarah Parker Day of Package

    Sarah was the absolute best! We had the day of package. Sarah was so helpful, super responsive, and had amazing insight for our wedding. Come month of, she helped us feel such at peace while coordinating with all our vendors which led us to a seemless wedding day with her help. She is the type of person to help me and my husband clean my dress post ceremony photos after it dragged on the floor. She goes above and beyond and would strongly recommend!

    Liz and her team are the BEST!

    Working with Elizabeth and her team was one of the best decisions I made in the wedding process. Liz set me up with the best vendors, and my wedding day went so smoothly because of her and Sarah and how organized they are. She is so responsive and always emailed me back right away, no matter how many silly questions I asked her. She is very experienced and amazing at what she does and I am still blown away at how incredible everything turned out on my wedding day. I HIGHLY recommend using Island Life Events!

    Highly recommend

    Liz was always accessible and communication was excellent. She listened and understood our vision, helping it come to life ! Connected us to amazing vendors, and immediately stepped in to assist with a few roadblocks we encountered along the way. Liz came bright and early the day of, and stayed through reception to assure everything went as planned . My reception decor and table arrangements were spot on and seeing all the hard work and planning come to fruition was truly special and worth everything.

    The best wedding planners!

    Island Life, Liz, and Sarah, made our destination wedding a reality. They answered every email, manged our family dynamics and needs, and troubleshot every detail. We would not have been able to have a successful destination wedding without them. Just book them- they are the best!!

    Best wedding planner!!

    Liz was an absolute pleasure to work with. We originally hired a different planner who made my family and me feel like we were a burden. We knew she wasn’t a good match for us and decided to part ways. We were given Liz’s information from our venue. After our first conversation I knew she was the right planner for us. Every time I would e-mail, call, text she made me feel important. She made me feel like I was her only client. I knew how busy she was, but she took her time with me and went above and beyond for my wedding.

    I am from out of state, so when I would make visits down to Florida we would have in-person meetings, which would last for hours - not just because of the wedding talk, but we would get side-tracked with convos about life. It’s important to have this bond/relationship with your vendors. When our wedding weekend came she was on top of EVERYTHING. I put my trust in her and her daughter, Sarah, and they both performed!

    When looking to hire a planner take note. Make sure they advocate for you, make you feel like you’re a priority, and are experienced. We can’t thank Liz and Sarah enough for all of their help and hard work. I highly recommend Liz!! You will not be disappointed.

    If you want Detail, Perfection and to possibly make a Friend, come here!

    Liz and Sarah are unreal amazing. They are so type A and have an incredible amount of detail and thought put into each second of your wedding. I felt like I had a friend before the wedding in both of them and when the actual day came for my destination wedding I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I also appreciated Liz and Sarah in the fact that no matter what other vendors thought was the right route to go they stuck with me and made it work. They will provide you guidance and make sure that you are getting everything out of your wedding that you are hoping for. If you are not a detailed person that is fine, they will make up for your lack of detail, if you are incredibly detailed and need someone to match your energy they are the vendor to go with. They made the day so incredibly easy and perfect that it honestly was without question the best day of my life in large part because of Liz. Sarah we missed you on the day of! I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience and I know I won't get married again but if I did have to I would let them run the show from start to finish!

    Incredible Experience!

    I can't say enough about Elizabeth and Island Life Events. They were quite frankly amazing and helped me every step of the way from planning to the actual party. Every ask was responded to ASAP and Liz was always in constant communication. I had a huge wedding and all of the logistics were handled flawlessly. She is a pleasure to work with and I will miss be able to talk with her!!! I couldn't recommend them more.

    Liz and ILE were amazing!

    If you’re looking for a planner, look no further. Liz and her team did an incredible job. They are very responsive and provide great advice for all your questions leading up to the day.

    Two days before our wedding, our venue let us know that the 2 event staff were not going to be on-site the day of. At first we were really worried, but Liz made sure everything went flawlessly. The venue linens weren’t in great condition with a lot of wrinkles and Liz leveraged her relationship with other vendors and found replacements the day of the wedding.

    The Most Amazing Team

    Liz and Sarah are truly an incredible team to work with. We were recommended Island Life Events by our venue and it was easily the best decision we made during wedding planning. They are so responsive, decisive, adaptable, understanding and direct. From the beginning, they gave excellent vendor recommendations to help build a truly incredible vendor team and create the most amazing wedding day. As it got closer to the wedding day, their details form/questionnaire and timeline planning helped everything fall into place. Doing everything ahead of time with their guidance truly helped me just focus on enjoying my wedding week without any last minute planning needs.

    While I'm sure they were incredibly busy behind the scenes during the wedding day, I was never directly involved and was able to enjoy all the moments with my new husband, family and friends. They made sure our drinks were full and that we had food throughout the night. The wedding turned out so much better than we could have even imagined. I know we would not have been able to do it without their help and expertise!

    Best wedding money spent

    If you are questioning whether or not you need a wedding planner, you absolutely do. Liz and Sarah of island life events were a huge reason that our wedding went as organized and smoothly as it did. They took all of the stress off my shoulders to make sure that I had the best day of my life. They are organized, communicative, and amazing people wranglers (including my 26 person bridal party!!). They listened to what we wanted, made sure that it happened according to plan, recommended vendors, and ensured I didn’t spend money where I didn’t need to. Hiring island life events was easily the best wedding money we spent. Thank you again so much Liz and Sarah!!

    Wedding Planner

    Accountable, reliable, personable. From the moment I met Elizabeth, I knew she would deliver in anything I threw at her. She was so timely in her responses and very honest with anything I would ask. She went above and beyond, and made the task of planning a wedding so effortless. She felt like a friend and family by wedding day. She was in total command and our timeline was executed with no glitches. I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding day by having her in my corner. I wish I could plan everything all over again, and without a doubt I would choose Island Life Events every time!

    The BEST wedding planner!

    I had a destination wedding in the keys and decided to hire a planner to help me since I wasn't in town. Elizabeth and Sarah were such a joy to work with. Elizabeth set me up with the BEST team of vendors and started all the convos for me with the florist and DJ. I didn't have to spend any time doing research on them which saved me SO much stress.
    The month/weeks before the wedding we nailed down all the info and Sarah used it to put together a timeline and helped me make sure that I wasn't forgetting anything leading up to the big day (I stressed out over planning so much, and they seriously helped me feel so much better!).
    The day of the wedding Elizabeth and Sarah were my saviors. Holy cow I do not have enough good things to say about them!! They got everything set up and decorated flawlessly- they turned my vision into a reality and wowow it came out so good. I didn't have to worry about anything while I got ready with my girls! Throughout the whole day they ensured everything ran smoothly and according to our schedule. She even helped deflect some family drama I was dealing with on my wedding day, so that I could truly enjoy my day. She was the friend I didn't know I needed on my wedding day!!

    Elizabeth was amazing to work with for my daughter’s wedding

    Elizabeth is very thorough, very responsive and helpful with any questions big or small. She truly cared about every detail and helped make the wedding absolutely perfect.     The best day of coordinator!

    I hired Elizabeth to be my day of coordinator about 1 month before the wedding. It was very last minute but she helped me fulfill every single detail needed to make my wedding absolutely perfect. She is very communicative which is crucial in a wedding planner. I loved how she stayed on top of everything even before the big day. She was my biggest advocate and handled all the details and plans with the vendors which relieved a lot of my stress! On the wedding day, she was there bright and early to help set up and delegate tasks as well as helping me with every hiccup we came across and because of her, the wedding went by so smoothly. On top of her expertise and management skills, she has an AMAZING personality and is so much fun to be around that I didn't feel like she was someone I hired but rather someone who truly cared about making my day flawless. I am so appreciative of Elizabeth and I HIGHLY recommend Island Life Events to anyone looking for a planner!!!!!

    Liz i love you!

    Liz. What can I say about her. First off, getting a coordinator is terrifying. As a controlling, organized human being, it is hard to pass over such important plans/details to someone to ensure everything runs smoothly. With Liz, I felt 100000% confident in her ability to run this event with ease + structure. I am so grateful for her throughout the 1.9 years of engagement, through the pandemic rescheduling, and through potential hurricane force winds. She was my rock and saving grace and I will forever be thankful for her making this day one of the best days of my life. Please, if you are hesitant in your decisions or just plain ole want a rockstar, she is your girl.

    Destination wedding planner

    Worth every single penny. Without Liz our Wedding Day would not have been as amazing and memorable as it was. If you are looking for a Weddiing Planner, Liz is beyond words your Planner. She embraced us like family and showed true dedication and commitment to making our day remarkable. She took care of details of the day we had no idea about and coordinated a Team of other vendors to make the Wedding Day seamless. Even when Mother nature didn't agree, she made swift adjustments, as if it was the plan from the beginning. Made our day stress free and we were completely able to enjoy the day.     A Dream Coordinator

    Having a wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic was supposed to be stressful, but Island Life Events made it stress-free, easy and most importantly, memorable. We had Sarah as our coordinator and she was perfect. She was responsive, kind and on top of everything so we could focus on the beautiful moments of our special day.     Day of Planner - 5+ stars!!!!!

    About a year ago, I hired Liz to do day of coordination for a wedding in Islamorada - at that time I did not think much about it. Come 2020 and the era of covid19, I started talking to Liz almost on a daily basis and I am so thankful for her. We postponed the wedding by only a few months and scaled it down to a small and intimate wedding. NONE of this would have been possible without her. She helped keep my vendors in touch, found us new entertainment, she checked local ordinances and county requirements to always have the latest information. I credit Liz for all of my mental strength. She helped me remain calm - calm enough that we decided to go forward with our event! I am so so so so so happy Liz was there to show me how this event would be possible during these weird times. If you are worried about covid19 and still want to have a wedding - YOU NEED TO HIRE ISLAND LIFE EVENTS. When it came to the actual event, everything was executed perfectly. We were worried about some inclement weather and Liz had backup plans ready to go and then when the weather held up, she had everything back to how we originally planned. They were more than just day of coordinators, they went over and beyond. I promise you, these are the people to hire and it is WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!! Thank you guys sooo much for everything that you accomplished, I am eternally grateful.

    Day of Wedding Planner

    We hired Elizabeth with Island Life Events as our day of planner for our wedding in Key West. Even though Liz was only hired as a "day of" planner, she was there all along the way to answer questions and provide advice. She had a very calm demeanor on the day of and helped calm all of our nerves to ensure our day flowed smoothly. My husband can be quite the details man and Liz was patient with him on the actual day of the wedding and worked with him to make sure everything was up to his standards :P I would definitely recommend Liz to anyone in South Florida looking for a planner!

    Islamorada wedding success!!

    Liz was phenomenal to work with!!! The King Tide in the Keys was not on our side (our prospective wedding site was covered in water during high tide). Liz went above and beyond to connect with our party rental company to ensure that we had the right setup so that our guests didn’t have to worry about wet feet! She and Sarah took care of everything so I didn’t have to worry about any of it on our big day. WHAT A DREAM!!! I would highly recommend working with Island Life Events for your wedding needs. They are rockstars!!!

    Liz is amazing!!!

    We couldn’t have had a better match than Island life events for our wedding. We had Liz for only the month of the wedding but she was so attentive the months leading up as well. She really got to know our family dynamic which was very important in our case and went above and beyond to make it our best day ever.
    With some family drama Liz was ready to take it all on, she felt apart of our family the weekend of our wedding and made it so much less stressful I can’t thank her enough.

    You can tell she really loves what she does and truly cares about her brides and grooms. I can’t recommend Island life events enough!!! Thank you guys so much!!!

    Best Day Ever!

    Elizabeth and her team were instrumental in making my wedding day perfect. All of my other vendors were booked at her recommendation and they were all fabulous and exactly what I wanted. Her team was professional, friendly, and a reassuring, calming presence making the day run so smoothly and ensuring everyone had a great time. I would definitely recommend Island Life Events for any event in the Keys.

    HIGHLY recommended is an understatement! Absolutely INCREDIBLE! Wedding of my dreams!

    I cannot say enough good things about Island Life Events! The owner, Elizabeth, is an absolute rock star! Truly, there are not words of praise I could use to describe my experience! She turned my vision into the wedding of dreams-actually, better than any thing I ever dreamed of. We literally just showed up! From day one she was on it- prompt, available, organized, creative, easy to talk to- every single little detail was addressed and taken care of for me. In addition, she was extremely caring, she never once made me feel like I was asking for too much (not to mention she planned my wedding in 8 weeks). Elizabeth has great relationships with all of the best vendors. Everyone she recommended was incredible! She is so passionate about what she does and it is clear that she puts her heart and soul into every event! Like I said, to say that I HIGHLY recommend Island Life Events is an understatement! You would be making a big mistake choosing anyone else to plan your special day.

    Great Help Planning The Wedding Long-Distance and Day of the Wedding

    Elizabeth Seligman and her assistant Sarah were essential to the success of our wedding. Elizabeth was an invaluable resource as we planned my daughter's wedding in Florida from Delaware. She knew vendors and had great ideas on how to make our wedding run smoothly. Her presence during the day of the ceremony saved me (the mother of the bride) from so many headaches and last minute details. Instead of being distracted by vendor questions, Elizabeth handled it all. I high recommend her.

    In good hands

    I was nervous about planning my wedding from a distance, especially because I didn’t meet my day-of coordinator until my wedding day. I went by the venue to make sure everything was being set up properly and immediately realized I wasn’t needed at all- Elizabeth had the whole thing under control, and the night came off without a hitch. This was probably the best money we spent for our wedding.

    Amazing service

    Liz and her team at Island Life Events are absolutely amazing!! Planning a destination wedding would not have been possible for us without them. Liz answered every email/text you name it within minutes with any questions or freak outs I was having. When we had one vendor late Shauntel was on the phone immediately checking on the situation.     Sarah is Amazing! Highly recommend!

    We used Island Life Events for our wedding this past Saturday. Our coordinator, Sarah, was AMAZING! She was on top of everything, made the entire process stress free and seamless, and she was a pleasure to work with. We could not have done it without her and HIGHLY recommend ILE! We also have to express our gratitude to the owner, Liz, who really took time and explained everything from the start and made the contracting part of the process so easy!     Best Day of coordinator and more

    Liz and Sarah are amazing! We booked Island Life Events in mid 2017 for our planned Feb 18 wedding. Due to Hurricane Irma, we postponed our wedding another year. Liz worked with us every step of the way and had no problem rescheduling our day with us. She even offered to help us find another venue because ours had severe damage. They went out of their way and helped many brides find other venues since so many of the resorts were shut down due to Irma. Liz helped me with a lot of ideas and kept me on track. Sarah took over in a few weeks before the day of and without her, I would have been lost. She kept all the venders in line and on schedule. Anything I was concerned with, she took care of immediately. She was there every step of the way. On the wedding day she was there early, she did all the decorations (beautifully), made sure everyone was where they should be, and she stayed till the very end of the night. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and they made my day absolutely perfect.

    An Amazing Rockstar!!!

    I do not know where to begin!!! My husband and I had a great feeling about her the moment we set up our preliminary call. She provided us all the possible vendors we can choose from and still was super open and accommodating when I found my own and did her own research to provide us more outside of her list. She gave her opinion when solicited and provided guidance when needed. Liz always made sure everything was aligned and if we ever had issues , she was on it like white on rice!!! We had things solved before we even knew it was an issue! We enjoyed every second with her and she made our dream wedding come true.     Highly recommend!

    Liz was amazing onsite and leading up to our wedding. I trusted her and her recommendations for vendors immediately. I chose to leave all the planning decisions in her hands and I was very impressed and not stressed! I would highly recommend doing the full package with her so you can enjoy your wedding and the lead up. Her prices are super affordable and beyond what you receive. I can’t say enough and am telling all my friends getting married to use her. She’s no bs, and that’s a good thing!

    Day-of planner, best decision ever!

    If you hire them, request Sarah! As my wedding was pretty small with not a ton of "extras" and detail, I decided to go with a day-of planner instead of one throughout the whole process. It was the best decision I made for the entire wedding. The day of the wedding, we realized that there was a 50% chance there was going to be rain (every girl with an outdoor wedding's nightmare!!). As I was going off the deep end, Sarah calmed me down and helped devise a plan that was our best option. She coordinated everything last-minute with the venue and the vendors and everything was perfect. She's confident in her role and very professional, and best of all she really, really cares about making it the best day of your life. The day wouldn't have been what it was without her :)

    Liz and her team are locals to the Keys. I chose them based off their experience with my venue and all the vendors. I used Liz for Full-Time planner, helping to coordinate and choose local vendors. Extremely prompt when responding to emails and truly made our day perfect and seamless.     Liz was amazing from the get go! I had already picked The Postcard Inn to have my wedding as well as a few other vendors and she was unbelievably helpful throughout the process. Hurricane Irma hit a year prior to our wedding and we were assured The Postcard Inn would be available for our wedding date (September 29th). However, when my aunt called to make a reservation a few months in advance, she was told by the reservation hotline the resort would NOT be open until sometime in October. After she told me I called Liz in a hurry. She answered my call quickly and responded with "I'm in the grocery store, let me check out and I will start making some phone calls". Within 30 minutes she called me back with options to move our wedding. We decided to move it to Amara Cay. She contacted all the vendors regarding the move & was available anytime I needed her, even the day after the wedding when we had issues finding our decorations.
    I also can't say enough about her daughter, Sarah. Sarah walked us through our rehearsal and was there for us during our whole wedding. Although Liz had some other obligations, she made sure she was there for our ceremony. Good thing her and Sarah were there for the ceremony because as SOON as I walked down the aisle, it began to poor down rain. Everyone ran inside the lobby of Amara Cay and waited for the shower to pass as Liz, Sarah, and the Amara Cay team wiped down the chairs to "re-do" our ceremony. Liz and her team were AMAZING and I couldn't have asked for anyone better to help plan our special day.

    Liz helped my daughter and I plan her wedding at a private residence on Marathon Key. It was a small, family wedding, and we relied upon Liz to help us secure local vendors near Marathon for our event. She was fantastic. The vendor's she provided turned out to be topnotch and very professional. Liz coordinated for us on my daughter's wedding day and totally relieved any stress for myself and my sweet bride. The wedding was perfect and Liz was a big part of our success!!

    Liz is wonderful to work with and a true master of patience. I met her through my Venue Sea Ranch Estate and after my first phone call with her I knew it was a match. She is a no BS sounding board and exactly what I needed to help plan and stay organized. She has the answer to any question you might have and when it comes to vendors she only works with the best!!! While I am type A and did a lot of the pre-planning Liz was patient, organized and kept me really calm throughout the whole process. I really appreciated being able to pick up the phone and bounce ideas off her and when I needed a hand she was always ready and willing to help. When my venue got hit by Hurricane Irma she was quick to calm my anxiety to find alternate venues. (Thankfully my venue was able to recover in time but she helped me stay cool when the heat was on.)

    If you are considering getting married in the Keys and want someone who knows everyone and everything she is a Perfect match (it is a huge PLUS for anyone planning remotely). That said, her business has grown to Miami and Broward... I ended up using a mix of her local Keys and Miami vendors because they were the best for what I needed.

    I had my dream wedding on a beach, great food, stunning flowers, chill lounge areas, a Sperry Tent and NO hiccups all thanks to my parents... and LIZ!!!

    Liz was wonderful in every way. She was super helpful, organized and from the moment she first contacted me prior to the wedding, she was able to grasp exactly what I was looking for on the day. At our rehearsal, she took charge and understood what needed to be done. The wedding day itself, her attention to detail and service were amazing, She made the venue look just how I imagined it could and even made suggestions to make things look better than I could imagine. 10/10 :)

    I hired Liz as my planner for my 3 wedding events at Playa Largo in Key Largo. My wedding was last weekend 5/19/18, we also had a rehearsal bbq on Friday 5/18 and a brunch on 5/20. I could not have asked for a better experience. Liz was available to me every step of the way and her and Sarah made our day perfect! I followed her recommendations for hair/make up, music, photography, and florist which I am SO glad I did! Every person we hired was awesome. Upon meeting Liz when we visited back in November, I could tell she was Veryyy experienced and professional. Even though she probably works 10 weddings a week, she responded to me almost immediately every time I needed her. Having a destination wedding can make some couples feel uneasy as we didn't really know what to expect. That is why there are people like Liz and Sarah. Sarah was our "day of" coordinator due to the high volume of weddings Liz had that weekend. Sarah is so professional and very sweet. She also was always available to me and would text me back almost immediately when I had any last minute questions. There was a lot of rain in the forecast at the start of our trip. I told Liz and Sarah that I reallyyy wanted my rehearsal bbq outside last friday and they worked with the resort to make it happen. I was so happy when I saw my tables set up on the beach, I almost cried. The weather and the whole event ended up being perfect. I could go on and on but honestly these planners know what they are doing and will not disappoint!! Let them take care of everything for you so you can truly relax and enjoy your destination wedding like we did. Thank you so much Sarah and Liz, you made our wedding weekend perfect! Having a destination wedding, I was so anxious the morning of the wedding day wondering if everything would come together.     Liz was a fabulous planner and executor for our wedding! She understood our vibe and style immediately, and introduced us to the vendors and venues that would be the best fit for our us. We love that she's very straight forward and direct, she's not going to sugar coat anything or give you the runaround.

    On the weekend of the event Liz and her team worked tirelessly to deliver on a perfect wedding day -- all with a smile on her face and while making sure we, the wedding party, were having fun and were relaxed. Everything went off without a hitch, thanks to Liz, who ironed out more than one snafu without any of our guests even noticing.

Liz had the patience and expertise to guide us through every detail of planning our three-day wedding weekend. There are SO many aspects of a wedding to keep track of that it can be overwhelming, but Liz managed to make the process manageable and even enjoyable! She had a direct, confident attitude while answering my endless questions and consistently steered me in the right direction. For example, when I was anxious about the chance of rain ruining our plans for a beach ceremony, she thoroughly walked me through the back-up plan while calming me down.     Liz and her team were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our whole wedding planning experience. I seriously do not know what I would have done without her expertise. After hurricane Irma hit the Florida Keys I was incredibly stressed about how our venue held up. Liz was the first person to contact me (even before the venue) to tell me my options as we would have to change locations due to damages. She had a list of options and contacts for me and made the transition as easy as possible. I felt very comfortable making decisions from Michigan based on recommendations from Liz and her team and when it came down to the wedding day everything turned out perfectly. She is full of great ideas and knows how to get things done the right way. My husband originally questioned needing a professional wedding planner but after going through the process he has said it was our best money spent. I would recommend Liz to anyone planning a wedding in the Keys in a heartbeat!

    We chose Island Life Events for a day of wedding planner. We got so much more than we thought we would! Liz kept in touch through emails and phone calls leading up to our event. After the hurricane, Liz quickly called us up asking how we were doing and inquiring about the status of our venue and if there was anything she could do to help. She helped us secure rentals and provided us with ‘homework’ that really helped us to think about every aspect of our day. Sarah came for our rehearsal dinner and was our planner for the day of the wedding. She was present all day making sure everything was perfect for us. We had nothing to worry about! Liz and Sarah were both professional and very personable!

Her attention to detail, artistic flair, her amazing vendors and contacts, and her professionalism was stellar. Liz drove all over south Florida to get me the best deals. I trusted her decision making skills and her creative concepts. When vendors would tell me “no” she fought to make it happen, and it always did.     Liz at Island Life Events came highly recommended by other vendors, and we are so glad that we chose her to help plan our destination wedding! Not only was she great at communicating, even for little things, she was also a comforting presence as our person on the ground who knew what was happening. We booked all our vendors and our venue without meeting them (except via video chat at times), and Liz gave excellent tips and references to steer us in the direction that fit our vision and our budget. She even did a Facetime tour of our venue so we could book it stress-free!
    I'm a super organized person and I had timelines and lists throughout the process but we truly could not have had such a stress-free wedding weekend without Liz. She was kind enough to coordinate everything from collecting shipped packages to contracts with vendors, and payments when our international cards were giving us a hard time and the vendors did not take PayPal. If you're hesitating about hiring a planner or day-of coordinator, go with Liz! Any question or concern we had, she was able to address in a timely manner. Liz and her staff were very knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient, and set up everything just as we had discussed.     Liz is A+++. Hurricane Irma destroyed my original wedding venue and before Liz could even go back to the Keys to see her home, she was already working on finding me a new venue. That right there was worth every penny. And she was so on point on my wedding day and every day leading up to it. I was a VERY happy bride and my wedding decor was absolutely GORGEOUS!!!

    Where do I even start?! Liz is the best of the best. We planned our destination wedding in Islamorada, FL for December of 2017. She connected me with wonderful vendors and was so responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. After Hurricane Irma, our original venue assured both myself and Liz multiple times that the hotel would be open by December 2. THEN - less than 30 days before our wedding - our original venue sent me an email informing me that the hotel would no longer be open in time due to delayed hurricane repairs. I was completely beside myself. Only with Liz's guidance and sense of calm were we able to find a new venue, coordinate with all our current vendors, find new vendors, and finalize our *new* wedding in less than FOUR DAYS. If this is not a testament to Liz's patience, expertise, resourcefulness, and professionalism, then I don't know what is! And, best of all, I can truly say that our wedding went off without a hitch in Miami at the National Hotel. THANK YOU, LIZ! xoxoxo

    I can't express how happy we were with our decision to hire Liz and her team. I hired Liz as my "Day of Planner" but she is much more than that, she really loves what she does & loves to be involved in the process. Liz and Jennie went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect & she doesn't hold back to do so. She is tough but in a gentle & kind manner.     We were initially introduced to Liz through a realtor on Islamorada while we were searching for a wedding venue. The realtor explained that Liz knew every venue and vendor in the area so we should give her a call. This introduction exemplifies Liz as a wedding planner- she is the person to know in the area. My new husband and I were planning from our home in Brooklyn, so we heavily relied on her during the planning process. She introduced us to her amazing vendors (Studio South for floral, Chef Michael for food, Keys Audio for all other rentals) and made the process seamless. She was available via email or phone always. She made sure all the rentals were placed on time, and was the troubleshooter for the dozens of unforeseen issues that arose over the planning process.
    Liz was invaluable during the months leading up to our wedding on 10/7/17. But when Irma hit the Keys weeks before our wedding… words cannot explain how happy I was to have Liz as our wedding planner. I had no clue where to begin when we were expecting 150 guests to Islamorada for our special day, and weeks before it was closed to tourists. Although some of our friends and family thought we were crazy, my fiance and I were adamant on sticking to our wedding on the same date and keeping it in south Florida. Liz jumped into action and we essentially re-planned another wedding in Miami our backup option. Ultimately, the Keys were opened to tourists on 10/1, and we moved forward with our wedding as we always wanted. On our wedding day, the tide flooded the beach where we got married hours before and after our ceremony. And Liz still pulled off the most memorable day of our lives.
    I have dozens of examples outlining Liz’ attention to detail, professionalism, and fun attitude, but instead I’ll say this: Liz made our wedding day more beautiful than we imagined, and days before it was an evacuation zone hit by a category 5 hurricane. You should hire her to plan your special day.

    If you want professionalism, quality, and effectiveness; then you want Liz! No one thinks they are a classic "bridezilla" so surely, I was a princess to work with, right?! OK, lets be real; we are all crazy when it comes to our wedding but Liz always made me feel like I was easy to work with and took all the questions and stress out of my head. I gave her very little direction and she turned it into a full blown party! Have wedding party members who think it's funny to be late or show up unprepared? Not a problem for Liz! I never had to worry about being the bad guy because Liz whipped all my party members to attention! Vendors who aren't doing their part? Not with Liz! She made sure that all my vendors knew what was expected and let them know if they were faltering. Liz is a class act and I would recommend her unconditionally.

    I loved working with Liz. She always answered my emails quickly and didn't mind that I was a DIY bride. I arranged everything with notes of how and where I wanted it and Liz did all the set-up. She made it look amazing! She was awesome at my keeping my wedding party on track too. During the reception she was constantly checking on us and making sure everything was going to plan & it did!     From the first time I met Liz, I knew she was the one for me. Liz is a type A personality, who will make sure that your dream wedding becomes a reality. Throughout all of the snafus and miscommunications, Liz had my back. And at the end of it all when I saw the end result, it was amazing. I trusted her and she didn't let me down. Her team follows in her work ethic, and makes sure that you are not taken advantage of. Planning a wedding in the keys when you don't live there can be challenging, but Liz will guide you and make sure that every detail is attended to. I didn't hear one negative comment from our wedding. The whole venue was beautifully decorated and I am grateful for ghe team of individuals who worked together to make it a weekend to remember.     Liz is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She was always there for me during my year+ engagement and had my back when problems arose dealing with my new venue. She never let anyone take advantage of me and gave me piece of mind that was invaluable. The #1 reason to hire Liz is to be able to enjoy your wedding day. Disasters will happen, and she will be there to clean up the mess. The day before my wedding, I found out that the stage my venue was supplying was bigger than what they had told my tent company. That meant that my entire floor plan which I had spent weeks organizing was completely out the window - I don't even know what happened but Liz worked her magic and everything was worked out by the wedding day. 15 minutes before I was supposed to walk down the aisle, I was told by my venue that a storm was coming in 18 minutes and everything that was already beautifully set up for a ceremony on the beach had to be moved indoors. For me this was not an option, and I was devastated. 5 minutes later, Liz looked me in the eye and said "We are having this wedding on the beach." Liz quickly organized everyone so we could start a few minutes early (something I didn't even realize) and we were able to finish the ceremony outside and be under the tent before the rain hit. She literally saved the day, and I couldn't be more grateful. Liz is a great person and great at what she does. You will not regret hiring her!

    We decided to use Island Life Events for my daughter's day of coordinator. We were in touch with Liz multiple times before the big day since we live in Minnesota and our daughter, the bride lived in Thailand and the wedding was in Key Largo. She assigned Sarah to handle the wedding. We were so happy with Sarah and all her efforts. She also ran the rehearsal the night before and was there early the next day making sure everything was in place and looking wonderful. We had a rainy day for an outdoor wedding but Sarah did everything she could to make sure the ceremony on the beach was set up and ready to go when the weather broke for a little bit. The reception was absolutely beautiful too. We had so many comments from family & friends about what a great job she did and what a hard-worker she was. Sarah was absolutely wonderful.

    We are from NJ, but recently got married in Islamorada, FL. We worked with Liz over the course of the past year to make our wedding dreams a reality. I must say, the wedding ended up topping our expectations. It was more beautiful than we could have imagined, and we both felt so special on our wedding day. Liz helped me plan and offered suggestions on every last detail of the wedding, and because of that we were able to personalize our wedding and make it exactly what WE wanted. Liz recommended amazing vendors, from food and beer to flowers, hair and makeup, etc., and she was always available to answer any questions that I had, no matter what day of the week or how busy she was with other clients. Liz made me feel extremely comfortable and eased my mind many times when I was stressing from planning a destination wedding from afar. I could not have done it without her and I am so glad that her, as well as Jennie, were a part of our special day. I trusted Liz's opinion on matters as i felt she was experienced, professional, and that she took the time to talk with me and really understand what we were looking for on our wedding day. The day of the wedding, Liz was there setting up most of the morning, and I got to watch her work her magic. She is extremely talented and has great vision.     Wow! Wow!! Wow!!!! We are truly and incredibly thankful for everything Liz and her staff did to help make our wedding day flawless. We had every confidence in Liz for our day-of services and were so happy she was there for us to make decisions in our best interest and keep us stress-free. With unexpected changes in the weather, our outdoor wedding was moved indoors. Seating charts, centerpieces, dance floor setup, etc were all changed but Liz and her assistant, Christina, made our vision come to life.     Liz is the best around. Period. She knows what she is doing and how to execute your dreams for your wedding. We hired her as a day-of-coordinator, knowing she had 2 additional weddings that day. She was up front about the additional weddings and told us her assistance Christina would be with us all day. We clicked as people and she was so responsive. I could call/text/email at any time and she would respond quickly and if she wasn't available at that time, set a time up immediately to answer questions. I would say that the only con is that Liz is such a upfront and honest person and her assistant is a little more passive than her. This is not a bad thing, but just caused other vendors to be a tad more vocal the day of the wedding. Worth every penny to hire Liz and her team to make your wedding perfect!

    Liz was nothing short of a guardian angel on our wedding day. With a tight budget I thought I would be able to handle the planning myself with the help of some AMAZING friends and family. Closer to the wedding I felt overwhelmed and didn't want them to feel that as well. Luckily, the stars were aligned and another wedding was cancelled so Liz was available under pretty short notice (talking less than a week!). We hired her to help us for day-of-coordinating and she went ABOVE and BEYOND! She has such an artistic eye and vision that even though I had just met her that day, I trusted her vision and let her take it away. It was nothing short of the wedding I had dreamed of for so long. I had a little too much decor and she took the best and made it so simple yet romantic and beautiful. There were so many things i didn't think of that she somehow helped us manage to make it unnoticeable.     We chose Liz as our Wedding Coordinator knowing we needed the "whole enchilada" for our November 2016 Islamorada wedding at The Caribbean Resort. From our very first phone call to the wedding day, she was attentive, responsive, and fun! Knowing the area and our venue so well, she easily guided us through local vendors and helped us make decisions.
    At times we ran into communication issues with slow responses from our vendors. One quick email to Liz, and we heard back from our vendors right away! She exhibited patience, creativity and professionalism throughout our process, even when I decided to change my floral theme a few months before the wedding! She assisted in helping my mother-in-law choose decor and flowers for our rehearsal dinner at The Cheeca Lodge.
    On our wedding day, Liz was organized and calming. She kept us informed of the setup progress and held us to the tight timeline we requested. Our band (which we chose on our own) was a nightmare, but Liz handled them with ease!
    We could not have been more pleased with Liz and her team. My husband and I agreed that she was the best money we spent on our wedding. We highly recommend her and will be forever grateful for her guidance throughout planning our most special day.

    Elizabeth Seligman is the absolute best. We hired her for our day of coordinator in Key West. She was amazing to work with. We had our wedding at the Westin Resort, outside on the pier. It was a really windy day and Liz reassured us everything would be perfect. When my husband and I walked in to the reception, I was totally blown away. Liz went above and beyond with everything and it was seriously the most perfect wedding day ever! I cannot thank her enough for everything. The entire day was stress free and went so smooth.     We originally booked a venue that promised a "day of coordinator" but after some turn over we decided we needed a competent, responsive coordinator who knew what they were doing! Liz was definitely that and more. She helped us make the right decisions from bar tabs to chair counts. She made the day of the wedding totally stress free.     We worked with Liz as our day-of coordinator. We cannot say enough good things. Very kind, personable, responsive, understanding, and knowledgeable of her profession. She goes above and beyond expectations, we had multiple sweet surprises throughout the wedding day that made it that much more special. She also had very good rapport with the other vendors in the area including mine which gave our small intimate wedding a genuine intimate feeling.     I had planned my destination wedding down to every last detail. Having rented a home in the FL Keys and bringing everything into the home, I thought I could just set up everything with the help of my family and friends early that morning. A week before my wedding, I just didn't want the pressure and responsibility of organizing everything. After searching weddingwire and sending Liz an email and she responded right away that morning. We talked on the phone and I booked Liz without hesitation the same day. I am so glad that I did. She came in ready to work and get things moving. She accomplished more than I could even imagine and I was immediately put at ease. My vision and dream wedding came true! She was able to incorporate everything meticulously! I am so grateful to have had Liz and her assistant-Jen for my wedding day. I highly recommend Island Life Events. Everyone still raves about how great everything looked and my night was great. I just left everything in their hands, and it all stayed on track. Thank you Liz and Jen! I couldn't have done it without you both.

    I don't even know how to begin to express how awesome Liz is. I left complete trust in her when it came to my wedding, and she went above and beyond what I could possibly have imagined. She made it so easy for me, a type-A personality with control issues, to be able to relax and enjoy my wedding day. I had no idea exactly what my reception would look at upon walking in. However, when I entered my venue, I was truly speechless. Liz had visualized and helped put together my absolute dream wedding. Not only does her creativity amaze me, but she is very confident in her abilities which is something I greatly value and find to be very important when it comes to putting a wedding together. I honestly do not know what I would have done without her and her assistant, Jennie. I truly hope to stay in contact with both as they are not only incredibly talented and wonderful professionals, but amazing individuals.

    It's impossible to describe the amazing experience it was wedding planning and working with Liz! She's so wonderful and really cares about her clients. The day of the wedding I was a nervous wreck. Liz quickly put me at ease saying she's got it and not to worry. She was right! Everything went perfectly! I'm just soooo happy we got to work with her on our wedding day!

    Liz legitimately saved our wedding and my sanity. My original day of bailed on me. Liz came in and immediately made me feel calm and completely handled everything. The decor came out so beautiful. The whole day went by perfectly. I cannot thank her enough for making our wedding amazing. She is SO easy to get along with. Definitely the woman you want to work with for your wedding.

    I am updating my review because now that our wedding is all over, I already miss talking to Liz daily. Not only is she is so personable and accommodating, she works her tail off and when your day is over, you too will realize you will need her help! Thank you is not enough to say to Liz how much I appreciated her for everything she has done throughout my wedding planning process! Phenomenal work Liz!

    Liz from Island Life Events is fantastic! When my daughter chose Islamorada for her wedding destination, I began searching for a wedding planner who could help her vision become a reality. Liz was dedicated from the beginning all the way to the big day!

    Liz has great working relationships with all the best vendors on the island. Whenever a vendor would ask me who our planner was and I told them Liz from Island Life Events, they would tell me that we are in great hands...the best on the island.

    Not only did Liz help us with creating a beautiful wedding at the gorgeous Sea Ranch Estate, she also created a beautiful welcome party and sunset dinner.

    I always felt assured that my daughter's wedding weekend would be everything she hoped for when I talked with Liz. She was quick to respond to all of our questions and helped us in many ways...always with kindness, professionalism, and patience.

    We highly recommend Liz, she was an exceptional Wedding Coordinator! She knows the area and the community very well and will always steer you in the right direction for the best quality and price.
    We had a very awkward/nightmare situation with our initial venue, which had contacted us two months prior to the wedding to let us know that they would not be built in time. Liz was ready to go to bat for us when we received this news. She took immediate action in helping us essentially plan a new wedding, which ended up being more gorgeous and "us" than the original venue. She's been in this industry for so long that she knows what works and she collaborates well with the other vendors.
    Not only is Liz an excellent problem solver, but she's passionate about wedding planning. No matter what or how crazy the factors are Liz is determined to resolve the problem and provide you the best resolution. We unintentionally chose the windiest week of the year to have our wedding and poor Liz went up and down the beach with the Cheeca banquet staff trying to find the least windiest spot. From what my bridal party said, she had tried several locations and several set ups to determine which reduced the wind from causing all of our decorations from being destroyed. I don't know how she did it or how she was able to find it, but it was almost like the wind didn't exist in this spot. The reception went flawless with none of the mercury glass, glass vases filled with flowers, thank you gifts or dinner falling or flying away. It was the perfect amount of wind to keep the mosquitoes away.
    Liz has all of the top qualities I wanted in a wedding coordinator: extremely reliable, creative, passionate in her job, which you see through her performance, super knowledgeable of the area and community, and amazingly easy to work with. You will have no regrets hiring Liz as your coordinator.
