She was amazing from day one
Minister Brathwaite was so amazing from the pre-planning to the day of! Even with all the crazy changes that had to be made during our wedding because of COVID, she made sure things went smoothly. The personal touches she put into our love story and ceremony made our service that much more memorable. By the end of the ceremony our guest were even asking her to stay, she felt like one of the family. Thank you so much for the wonderful ceremony!

We highly recommend Minister Brathwaite! From start to finish she was there to guide us through the entire process, i.e. going to the courthouse and filing our marriage certificate, keeping track to make sure we write our wedding vows, providing wedding vow templates, walking us through the run-of-show for the ceremony, etc. In fact, we got so many compliments on how she officiated our ceremony. Our family & friends absolutely adored her. Overall, we highly recommend hiring Minister Brathwaite-you will receive personable and supportive services that just "feel like home."

First let me start off with My officiant Thelma Brathwaite oh man her performance was outstanding and simply amazing. Thelma exceeded our expectations. I felt every emotions possible, I cried, I laugh, and my heart was overjoyed. Dell and I wanted to include our late parents in our ceremony, and it was executed with perfection. We literally felt their presence. Our ceremony was beautiful. Every seat was filled up and pretty much everyone was impressed by Thelma and how well she told our Love story. Her focus was only to please us as a couple. We had an unplugged ceremony, and she did not play about that. Not only did Thelma marry us, but she also assisted with the Coordination of our wedding reception, she just wanted our day to be perfect. Thelma, Lydell and I are profoundly grateful for everything you have done for us.

Mrs. Thelma was nothing short from amazing. Since the first conversation I felt that she was the perfect person to marry me and my husband. She gave us great tips all the way until after the ceremony. Making sure we wasn't nervous and reminding us to have fun and take it all in because that was our day. Due to Covid-19, we had to change our wedding location to Florida and planned everything in less than 60. Minister Thelma was absolutely the best. She’s very professional. I spoke with her multiple times by phone & via email. We didn’t meet in person until the actual wedding rehearsal due to the Covid outbreak. I loved the fact that she’s very spiritual. She prayed for me & was always available whenever I had questions and/or concerns. Minister Thelma was very helpful during my planning process also. I was looking for a wedding coordinator to help me with a few things along the way & Minister Thelma was able to help me with that. She turned out to be the greatest day of coordinator that money could buy. I was very pleased with her services. All my guests were pleased too. We received a lot of compliments.

I can't praise Ms. Brathwaite enough. She was extremely professional and experienced in her work. She took the time to go through everything in detail, from wedding vows to the ceremony tips and insights, she knows it all and is happy to pass on her expertise to you to make sure your day goes flawless. She took the time to get to know us, which made our ceremony very warm and personal with no dry eyes in the room. Even 30 days later guest are still amazed with our ceremony and its meaning. Thelma was the ultimate professional and officiated a ceremony that left my guests impressed! From our first encounter I knew she was “the one” and she did not disappoint. Her attention to detail and personality made the entire process seamless. She takes the time to get to know you to make the ceremony as personal as possible, offers suggestions, and provided a detailed outline of what to expect on our wedding day. The fact that we live in Georgia did not impact the level of communication in the least. We used video conference for our first “face to face”. She’s extremely flexible and we communicated often to perfect the ceremony details. It was truly our pleasure having Thelma officiate our wedding!

Thelma performed a blessing for my husband and I in the UK after we had our official wedding ceremony which was performed by a registrar as required by law in the UK at the Hallmark Hotel London Chigwell Prince Regent. She provided us with that little something extra for our ceremony by telling our love story to our guests and we performed a Unity Candle ceremony, both of these are something I don't think many, if any of them had ever seen before. Thelma gave us guidance throughout the preparations and made our ceremony so much more personal than just having a registrar performing it. It was the joining of two families to become one big family with 6 children and 12 grandchildren and she ensured that everyone was included along the way. Thelma is a breath of fresh air and she calms your nerves and soothes you with her pleasant manner. She made our day even more special with the way she performed the ceremony.
If you are looking for an Officiant to perform your ceremony in the US or a blessing in UK then I would not hesitate to

I knew from our first conversation that she would be perfect to officiate our wedding. Minister Thelma took the time out to really get to know my husband and I. I had to plan my wedding while I was working overseas and was concerned that everything would not come together as I thought. Minister Thelma alleviated all concerns I had by communicating with me every step of the way. In the end, my wedding ceremony was more than I could have ever asked for! My guests keep talking about how great it was and how personalized it was to fit my husband and I. My wife and I really enjoyed Thelma and the way she facilitated our wedding on 09/17/2016. What stood out the most for our ceremony was how she presented a story line of my wife and I journey up to that point. She interacted with our guests and spent time with the entire wedding party before the ceremony. Thelma also contacted us weekly to go over changes, updates, or general information that was needed. Thank goodness for Thelma! For whatever reason, our officiant was one of the last vendors we booked. Normally this isn't recommended but Thelma was very quick and flexible. She was able to bring our non-traditional wedding together in no time. Neither of us are religious but our families are, and we truly had no idea what our ceremony should be like. We chatted with Thelma on the phone, gave her our background and she wrote up a draft ceremony for us. Which was amazing and right on point of what we had decided we wanted. When we met in person to chat, she was timely, prepared and made sure we understood our commitment to one another. She attended the rehearsal and was able to direct our roudy group well. The day of the wedding, she was very understanding and patient when a few things went awry. I am ever so grateful for Thelma and her services on our big day. She truly made it special and unique to us and I believe she can do that for any couple. I highly recommend her.

Thelma was amazing for our wedding. In preparation for our wedding we had many calls, emails, and even skyping due to distance. She made sure she understood us as a couple and why we were getting married so that our vows were personalized and really touched us as well as those in the ceremony. I don't think I read through them once without tearing up. At the rehearsal she was on time and instructed us on exactly what to do. During the ceremony her cues helped us not to miss a beat. Everything and more laid out in the package was delivered as promise.

Thelma Brathwaite was truly amazing! I am so thankful for finding her when I did. There is nothing like living in another state and not knowing where to begin to even look for the perfect officiant. After my first initial contact with her she immediately put me at ease and she had me at Hello! Thelma will put together a beautiful ceremony that is totally unequally yours. I can not imagine anyone else having the same ceremony as we did. Her presence and guidance through it all is impeccable and you will surely find that calmness and peace in her. We did not get to have a prior meeting with her as we are from Texas until our wedding day but you would have never known it . We kept in touch via email and her response time was always fast and very professional. We all agree, she is top of the line and you would not regret your decision in choosing Ms. Thelma for your big day!

I don't think I could have ever found such a wonderful officiant. Firstly, she was always there for us... we could contact her at any time of the day or night. Our rehearsal was scheduled for 6 pm but the bridal party was running late so we had to delay it until 7 pm. Unfortunately, we had to delay the rehearsal again until 9 pm... Thelma was so patient and accommodating! She was there through it all, patiently waiting for us to arrive. On the day of the wedding, she helped keep me calm. She was wonderful and was able to capture our love story effectively and present it to our family and friends. Our fairy-tale wedding could not have been possible if it wasn't for her.

The Officiant of the wedding she was amazing I love her accent she's from London she speaks so proper she called us and ask us how we meet ....and hear our story I am a breast cancer survivor my husband Carlos was an amazing man and took care of me and was with me she heard our story and she called him a superhero doing all of my treatments ...... From infinity and beyond she included our six children.... It was very warm it was very touching to my heart that she took the time to listen to how Carlos and I met and how he means so much to me and he was there for me....... I highly recommend her she is an amazing woman God bless her.......

Thelma was my wedding coordinator. My wedding party and decorator really had me stressed out the day of my wedding my flowers were 30 minutes late Thelma really took control of the situation calmed me down and and helped everything run smoothly. My only wish is I would've hired her sooner. She was the one person that I hired that I did regret hiring she was like one of the family.

Thelma was awesome! She responds to emails and phone calls quickly, is warm, professional and easy going. Our first meeting to discuss details of the ceremony felt like talking with an old friend. Thelma asked a lot of questions about us as a couple and really got to know us - she then worked this in to the ceremony. She gave us multiple ceremony scripts to choose from, ranging from traditional to more modern and poetic. Our guests assumed she was a close friend of ours because of how genuinely happy she was during the ceremony. Afterwards, she took care of all the marriage license details for us including mailing it.

I am so very blessed and thankful to Minister Thelma for being a major part of our day. Her professionalism and kindness exceeded all of our expectations and more. When we first met her, she just wanted to know strictly about us...getting to know us as individuals and then how we first met. She was so genuine, wanting to know all the details, really listening and interested on how we found love. I love that about her. She really understood exactly what i wanted for my wedding. She worked countless times making sure every detail of how i wanted the ceremony to go on paper was exactly how it would be the day of the wedding. I really didn't know what i wanted to be played in certain parts of the ceremony and she suggested a few songs and i LITERALLY...used almost every one. She knew exactly what i wanted just by a few conversations between us and that is a very special gift Minister Braithwaite has that separates her from other officiants. During rehearsal we may have ran through it a couple of times and before that was good enough for anyone else she asked me did i want to run through it again. She always pays attention to our needs before anyone...truly understanding that is was our day. Her smile lights up the room and i cannot tell you how many compliments people gave us on how FANTASTIC she officiated our wedding. Aside from just being our officiant, Minister Thelma is a beautiful person inside and out and i know if i needed to speak with her about anything, I could always call her and talk to her. She became our friend from the moment we met i am soooo thankful she was part of our wedding day and apart of our lives forever!

From day one Themla was great. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. All her information and suggestions were very helpful and her warming heart made everything right. I am writing to recommend the services of Thelma Brathwaite.
Thelma stepped in as an officiant for our October 26, 2013 Disney World Wedding after we made a last minute change in the direction we wanted to take our vows and ceremony between 3-4 months before the big day. Being a destination wedding and our second ceremony (a week a part from the first), I was a very anxious bride who needed someone flexible and attentive to what we envisioned for our special day. I am happy to say that from the moment I spoke with her on the phone, I was immediately comfortable with Thelma. Her knowledge and attention to detail aided in keeping my husband and I on track during the planning process.
I was very excited to have a woman officiate for us and it was even more exciting to have someone who was open to adding the personal touches we wanted in our ceremony! She also walked the line between firmness and friendliness very well throughout, keeping everyone in the family and wedding party focused on the tasks at hand during our ceremony rehearsal. I can say that Thelma is not only professional, but I found her to be also very easy to work with. She was always understanding, and willing to take the time to discuss my concerns and respond to questions I had whether that was on the phone or via email.
I feel confident in recommending Thelma's services to any bride, but especially a destination Disney Bride who has a particular set of extraordinary needs. She met ours and much more! Thank you, Thelma!

Phenomenal, Bespoke Ceremonies with Care
Thelma was a dream to work with. After our first Skype session to meet we instantly knew she would be great for us. She listened intently and worked with us to write a beautiful crafted ceremony just for us. We branched away from traditional ceremonies and she had no problem with that. She wrote a beautiful piece about the Art of Marriage and gave a poetic delivery of some of her advice to us that I will hold dear. All of our guests told us they thought she was great and we couldn't agree more. She kept up communication with us throughout the whole process and informed us exactly what we needed to do regarding our marriage license. We invited her to stay the remainder of our reception upon which she did and had a delightful time with our family. Couldn't recommend enough!

I hired Thelma as my Reception Coordinator and she was amazing! She asked many questions so that she could get my exact vision in mind, and set up everything as I wanted. She even served my Bridal Party our food and beverages, although I had not asked her to do so. She was flexible, as we met in person, spoke on the phone, and e-mailed each other. If I didn't have Thelma there, I definitely would have not had such a relaxed and perfect wedding reception. :)

Thelma was very respectful and provided us with a very nice ceremony. We especially appreciated how she came prepared with a wireless microphone and speakers so that everyone in the audience could hear her and our vows.
