My fiancé and I hired Asheville Wedding Photography for our Wedding in October 2020. I entered to win an engagement photo session and I am so glad I did. Brittany messaged me letting us know that we had won and we decided to meet in downtown Asheville. Brittany was friendly and made us feel so comfortable. She knew all the best poses and places to give us the most beautiful pictures we could imagine. An interesting fact to our engagement pictures is that they were taken during this COVID-19 pandemic. Brittany wore a mask and brought gloves just incase she had to get close. I can't wait until our wedding because I know they are going to capture our special day and give us great photos just like they did for our engagement. -

We had Brittany shoot our engagement pictures, bridal portraits, and our wedding day. We are so incredibly happy with every photo she (and her second shooter) took. Brittany was absolutely wonderful and super easy to work with. My husband seriously does not enjoy being in front of a camera, but Brittany made us feel incredibly comfortable in times that could have been awkward (creating those super intimate shots). Not being from the area and planning our wedding from halfway across the country, we needed all the help we could get, Brittany was easy communicate with and provided expert instructions and direction on where to shoot, when, and how to pose for the best photos. She even took the stress of creating a perfect wedding day timeline off of my plate creating a flawless day. We had a rather upsetting event occur on our wedding day with my family, and Brittany stepped in to completely shower me and my now husband with love. It felt incredible to have her in my corner. Having seen our engagement photos and my bridal portraits, we were sure we would love our wedding pictures. We completely underestimated her talent. The photos of our wedding day are completely breathtaking!!! They were delivered faster than we anticipated and are more incredible than we could have ever imagined. The photos were delivered via our own online gallery with easy downloading and printing straight from the gallery. I cannot recommend Brittany with Inspired Life AVL/Asheville Portrait Company enough! -

We could not possibly be more thrilled with how our wedding photos turned out! Brittany was so easy to communicate with and provided expert guidance on how to be sure we captured the moments that were most meaningful to us. We were stressed about creating the wedding day timeline and she made this process super easy and stress-free. I anticipated that we would really love our photos...but she FAR exceeded our expectations. The photos are easily accessible to us now and we will enjoy them for a lifetime. I would absolutely recommend Asheville Wedding Photography to anyone! -

We got our pictures from Brittany back yesterday and we are utterly speechless. First of all, in the busiest time of year, it still only took less than a month for us to get our editted engagement pictures so 10/10 for turnaround time. That’s only the beginning.
Second of all, Brittany is both incredibly professional and yet down to earth and friendly. We were so nervous but she was so inviting and made us feel comfortable right away. She went above and beyond for our dream engagement shoot, shooting in both a weird location with funky lighting, and creating a moodiness that rivals Vogue.
I can’t believe how out of her comfort zone she was willing to go to match our vision. We’re having a goth wedding and wanted a dark, moody Harry Potter-ish themed shoot and she just blew us away, we are absolutely floored with the results. We fell in love all over again and even my hard-on-himself-low-self-esteem-fiancee felt like a model in the pictures.
I love the editting especially, she really played with lighting and color to match our theme, and it shows. It looks like something out of a romantic Victorian novel (but in downtown Asheville) and we are so so lucky to have these photos to keep forever.
If you’re on the fence about photographers, you cannot go wrong with Asheville Wedding Photography. You will feel like you’re working with family, (the kind you like) and somebody who puts their heart and soul into their work. She is so good at making your vision a reality, and is willing to experiment in ways that truly evoke emotion. Brittany is an artist for the ages, and I cannot speak highly enough to the quality of our experience and the end results of our photos. We can not WAIT for her to do our wedding next Fall! -

We are so happy we got photos with Brittany out on Roan Mountain. The backdrop, the poses, and the editing made these photos look like an ad. I would 100% recommend Brittany. She’s on point with her event planning and organization and she’s also just a lot of fun to be around. -

Brittany is such a fun photographer to work with! Our ceremony went a couple minutes over, which cut out the time we had for portraits, but she still managed to get AMAZING portraits of us and kept us on time! She was very easy to be around and really makes you feel comfortable. -

Brittany photographed our wedding in Asheville and she did PHENOMENAL! You can honestly tell the difference between her experience and professionalism as a photographer over someone who takes candid photos with an expensive camera. She knew where to go without question—both in the Asheville area, and at the venue—and was definitely prepared beforehand. She was also great at positioning us into ways that we would have never done on our own, and those are the photos that we love the most! Photos aside, she dressed professionally and has a fantastic personality. You could tell she actually cared about her job and wasn’t just trying to get a paycheck. She also has NO PROBLEM traveling. So if you’re not in Asheville, that’s not a problem! I will DEFINITELY hire her for photos in the future even though we live in Raleigh. Absolutely LOVE. 6/5 stars :) -

Alexandra Sent on 11/19/2018Proof You Don't Have to Break the Bank to Find True Artistic Talent!!
Thank you so much to Brittany for capturing the best day of our lives. Brittany is proof that you don't have to break the bank to find true talent. We initially chose her because her packages were very reasonable and her portfolio was beautiful. (We were planning a destination wedding 5 hours away!) On the big day, we were blown away with her talent. Her communication could not have been better leading up to the big day when we were game planning! I was obviously very nervous on the big day and she helped calm me down too. So she did more than just "photograph" on the big day, she really had a lot of jobs haha! Her work is magnificent! We've been receiving compliments like crazy. I would recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful pictures at a very reasonable and affordable price as well. -
Demi Sent on 06/20/2018First of all, you get what you pay for when it comes to wedding photography. Inspired Life Photography is well worth the price. Not only did we have amazing and gorgeous, engagement, bridal and wedding photos, we also really enjoyed the company of Brittany.
We did our engagement photos in the fall of 2017 - got them back fairly quickly, considering the time of year. Brittany helped to design our Save-The-Dates. We ordered them through her as well. They turned out great and were a great first look into her photography. This was also a great way for us to get to know her before the big day - we were able to connect and were able to become more relaxed.
With the bridal portraits, we did these on a very busy weekend, but I was extremely impressed with how well Brittany made it work. They turned out great!
Lastly, our wedding photos! We were super impressed with all the other photos Brittany had taken for us, we knew that the wedding photos would be just as great. They were well worth the wait. Her and her 2nd shooter for the day were able to capture all the perfect moments and truly bring our big day to life.
Inspired Life Photography is a must have! You will truly not be disappointed with the finished products.

Melissa Sent on 01/31/2018Brittany is so talented at what she does! We booked the 4-hour wedding day package with her and couldn't be happier with her and her amazing work! She was friendly, professional, and absolutely everywhere at the wedding, getting shots I didn't even know she got! During the family & wedding party photos, the reception, and send-off, she wasn't afraid to retake a picture or ask us to rearrange or move in order to get the perfect shot. And she got so many AMAZING pictures! Her framing and editing is light, creative, and just pretty. She captured our wedding day, the people, the decor, the whole event, beautifully. Truly could not be happier! (AND her price was incredibly reasonable!)

All the Important Moments
Brittany did an amazing job capturing all the important moments of my wedding. She was excellent at making sure to pick up all the little details of the dress, decor, set up, and most importantly all the people. We have beautiful formal shots of us and many "in the moment" candid shots of our friends and family. Not only was she very thorough but she also accommodated our furry family member : ) -

Awesome experience
We had an overall awesome experience with Brittany! Our elopement would’ve been otherwise boring if she hadn’t offered an elopement pkg and make sure my husband and I had the proper witnesses. We were able to go around Biltmore and take stunning pics and the memories we have are priceless! Her easy going and helpful nature will put you at ease!! -
