Amazing. Fun to work with and enhanced our wedding day

Steph and Steph recently photographed our engagement shoot as well as our wedding in Asheville and were absolutely amazing. Both were fun and easy to work. The pictures have turned out amazing!

Indigo Photography was recommended to me by my sister-in-law who used them for her wedding back in 2012. My SIL continues to speak highly of Stephanie to this day because she had such a great experience with her. Indigo Photography most definitely lived up to my expectations!

I had the pleasure of also working with Stephanie and Steph (the Steph team!). They worked so wonderfully together and came up with some amazing ideas throughout the night to capture photos of my husband and I . Steph was especially great and keeping our group of rowdy groomsmen in check for photos after the ceremony. I'm so glad we booked with Indigo!

Worth every cent we paid!

I truly cannot say enough about how amazing our photographers and videographer were for our wedding. We had 2 photographers and 1 videographer, in which I felt as though not one moment was overlooked at any point. As we were doing one set of shots and thought we were done they would notice the different lighting and immediately would stop and say " I have to take advantage of this moment, it's a perfect shot and I have to get this". I feel as though every idea that I knew I wanted for a picture was covered without me even having to say anything. Not just the basic shots but also the unique and different ones that were suggested by others or I came across and knew I had have. Do not let your special day go by without hiring these amazing people, as they will make sure to deliver everything you want, desire and dream about in photos and video. I will gladly hire them again!

Beautiful Bridal Portraits!

I am so happy I worked with Indigo Photography for my bridal portraits! Stephanie was my photographer and she was incredible! I felt so comfortable during our shoot and am so in love with the images. I cannot recommend her enough!

Indigo Photography shot both of my older sister's weddings in 2014 and 2015, and they just shot mine in 2016! They're practically family by now! Choosing a good photographer for your wedding is something you don't want to skimp on. After 3 weddings and a family photo session, my family hasn't been disappointed yet! I would recommend Indigo to anyone & everyone simply because I wish that all brides could be as happy with their wedding photos as I am.

My husband and I worked with Jay and Mimi at Indigo for our October 2014 wedding and rehearsal dinner in Charlotte. What pros! The photography was stunning and exactly the aesthetic we were looking for: fairly classic/traditional. While their talent is easy to see from their site and work online, we were also highly impressed with their professionalism and communication. We live in Boston and didn't meet Jay and Mimi until our wedding week, which speaks volumes to their level of service. Both were extremely responsive and communicative before the wedding, as well as afterwards, throughout the album development process. Planning a wedding from afar isn't easy, and Indigo was seamless all around. Last - both Jay and Mimi are so incredibly friendly and put everyone at ease on the big day. They have the right personalities for both the event and the business process. All around A+ and highly recommend!

Indigo was amazing to work with! The first time we talked to Andy we could just feel his excitement through the phone. He wanted to know every detail of our wedding, including the cultural components and the family dynamics. We knew instantly that he was the photographer that we wanted at our wedding. Andy and his team did not disappoint. They were professional, energetic, and on top of it all...they are really cool people. We had so much fun hanging out with the Indigo team and our pictures and video show it. I was floored by how great all of the images turned out... every picture is STUNNING. Indigo Photography is, to put it simply, the BEST! I had the privilege of working with Stephanie Pulliam who was absolute perfection throughout the entire wedding process. The way she captured my bridal portraits and wedding day truly amazed me. Her creative eye and fearless style created the pictures of our dreams.

My husband has always been passionate about photography so selecting a talented photographer was a high priority for us. Needless to say- we were beyond pleased with the results. Stephanie is fun, reliable and thoughtful. She was professional and had no problem taking charge when she needed to (which I think any bride should acknowledge and appreciate). The quality of service and overall final product completely exceeded our high expectations.

We chose Indigo photography for our spring wedding this past April and we could not be more pleased! Jay and Mimi where our photographers. They were one of the first vendors on-site on our wedding day and took pictures from before myself and my husband had even arrived to when everybody had left at the end of the night. They made us feel very comfortable and we never felt like we were being told what to do and how to do it. They took full advantage of our venue and were very creative. They truly seem like they love what they do. It felt very natural to work with them and halfway through the night I forgot they were even there yet they were able to capture great moments and every single picture is perfect. We did not have a lot of time to take pictures on the wedding day yet they were able to create very beautiful, versatile different looks and only a short matter of time. They were beyond professional and we had received all of our final prints within 2 months of our wedding date. We will certainly be using Indigo for any future photography needs!

Oh Amanda!! Words could never explain how much amazing talent Amanda Pagano has! I have watched her videos for years before I got the honor of having her film our wedding this May. Her videos are always amazing and I cannot wait to see ours! But let's not forget to mention how incredibly fun she is to work with! Her positive, vibrant attitude is so much fun to be around, especially on your special day! She got so excited about the footage and couldn't stop smiling with us. It was the happiest day of our life as a couple, and Amanda added even more joy to that! We were so blessed to have her as a part of our day and would recommend her to any and everyone we know!! So far we have used Andy Chen for the engagement photos and bridal portrait. He is fun to work with and very creative. He has a nice way of making people feel at ease with the whole process. He uses a nice mix of traditional and contemporary approaches to the photos. The finished product came out amazing, and it was so enjoyable to do!

Like most brides, I was very particular when it came to choosing my photographers. My husband and I are naturally camera shy and the thought of my wedding day turning into a photo-fest reminiscent of prom made me queasy!
From the moment I first met Jay, I knew he understood my hesitations and was confident enough to capture our wedding without shoving a camera in my face for hours on end.
I booked Jay and Mimi first for my bridal portraits. The shots came out even better than I imagined. Not only do the photographers at Indigo understand the importance of lighting and know how to capture an individual’s personality, they’re also fun, relaxed and enjoyable to be around, making my shyness a non-issue.
When I got my pictures back from our wedding day, I was elated. Jay and Mimi captured every moment and every detail. I didn’t receive a series of posed, cookie-cutter formal portraits; instead, I received pictures capturing memories of my grandmother’s laugh, my husband’s excitement, my aunt’s dance moves and my father’s tears. They captured the moments I missed and the moments I’ll never forget.
From a practical standpoint, Indigo’s prices are extremely reasonable and their professionalism cannot be understated. They know how to stick to a timeline, make the evening flow smoothly and ultimately, deliver exactly what the bride and groom want.
Anytime I need a photographer, I’ll be calling Indigo.

Simply fabulous. Our first set of engagement pictures were taken down at the beach and were not as good as we expected so we contacted Indigo, who we had already hired for our wedding. The pictures came out better than expected and we couldn't happier.

Jay and Mimi at Indigo did an incredible job photographing my wedding. I could not have asked for a better team. They were able to use the most seemingly ordinary locations and turn them into the most extraordinary photographs. (For example, when I show off one of my favorite photos, no one can believe that the background is the parking garage next door to the hotel). They can take great pictures anywhere. My husband and I had a difficult time selecting the pictures for our wedding album because there were too many great ones to choose from. Jay and Mimi were professional too; they were always available for questions, responded to emails quickly, and arrived early to each event. I would highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough about Andy at Indigo! Ever since my sisters wedding in 2011, I knew that I wanted him for my wedding as well. He did my bridal portraits and covered my wedding. Gina and Stephanie assisted him and were amazing as well! The photos are always top notch and extremely creative. He is willing to lay down on the ground, balance on old crates, and even run into the rain to get the shot! He was able to get the more traditional portraits for my mom, and the more edgy for me (we actually got to shoot at an airport!) If you're looking for a photographer for any event, this is it!

Jay and Mimi at Indigo are amazing! They were one of the easiest vendors that we worked with. Planning a wedding is like nothing else. It is so easy to get stressed out. From our first meeting we knew Jay and Mimi were knowledgeable, easy going, and passionate about what they do. I needed to be comfortable and trust them so that I wouldn't have to micromanage every shot that was being taken. I have seen professional shots from other photographers at other weddings where necklaces are twisted, props are off center, hair is a mess, etc. Jay and Mimi made sure every shot was perfect. Their pricing is very reasonable and the packages can be easily adjusted to fit your needs. We LOVE our pictures and cannot thank Indigo enough!

While there is undoubtedly no aspect of the planning process that is unimportant, photography was one of, if not the highest, priority on my list. In my perspective, I’ve waited all of my life for this day to arrive and once it’s all over, all that is left is a memory. And unfortunately, memories fade over time. Photographs last lifetimes and enhance the wonderful memories that have been made. That being said, I put a strong magnitude of effort into researching the perfect photographer for our wedding. After interviewing 10 photographers, and by means of my own intricate scoring system, the decision was an easy one – Indigo Photography, and in specific, Stephanie Pulliam was the clear choice.

Stephanie, as well as the entire staff, has a beautiful sense of style of photography. The word that comes to mind when viewing Stephanie’s portfolio was “stunning”. Her work had impressed us so much that we hired her not only to capture our wedding, but also our engagement portraits and our rehearsal dinner. On top of that, I worked with Stephanie for an “X-Posed” session, to compile boudoir-style portraits into an album to give as a gift to my groom on the wedding night (he loved them). I could go on incessantly raving about the quality of the photographs, but above all, Stephanie has been an absolute pleasure to work with. We connected so well with her on a personal level when we first met her, which made her stand out even more so.

Now that everything is said and done, we feel that Stephanie has become like a member of our family! She and her team has been an asset to our entire wedding experience. I will most definitely plan to reach out to Stephanie to capture all of life’s most beautiful FUTURE moments. I would recommend Indigo Photography at the utmost highest level.

I cannot say one bad thing about Indigo Photography. I got married in Puerto Rico back in June and I was so glad to have Jay and Mimi from Indigo, photograph our wedding wknd! Besides being efficient and proffessional, they were part of the whole experience throughout the wknd and made us and all our guests feel comfortable and relaxed as they snapped away capturing portraits/memories that we will treasure forever! Jay is a trip and such an awesome individual! He took charge when needed but did it in such a manner that made us understand what his vision was when capturing these special moments. Mimi was amazzzing and has such an artistic eye! She captured and paid special attention to every little detail from my jewelry to my wedding decorations and made them shine! We just got our pictures back and we were floored with all the images! They were absolutely breathtaking and we couldn't have asked for anything more! There is nothing but excellent things to say about our experience working with Andy and his team from Indigo. They were highly recommended by our wedding planner and we could have not made a better decision by choosing Indigo for our wedding! They are extremely professional and personal, and were amazing at taking us through the whole planning process. With us not living in the area, they made it easy to communicate via email and phone. Andy is an exceptional photographer and captured our wedding day with such unique, fun, dramatic, and gorgeous photographs! All of our guest were amazed and couldn’t stop talking about him and his team!

When we received our photos, we were blown away with how well they captured the special moments throughout the entire day! Everyone still talks about how amazing the team was and how the photos turned out! We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer!

Stephanie of Indigo Photography did an excellent job of photographing my daughters wedding and portraits. We had entirely enough coverage with two photographers to start well before wedding time. Stephanie from Indigo was awesome. I really liked the Indigo "style" and was thrilled to have them. I'm still waiting to get my wedding photos back (I just got married), but my engagement shots were beautiful. I liked how she emailed a few shots right after our e-session. She was very easy to work with and gave us direction for how to pose while still looking like "us." I also asked her for recommendations for a florist and baker, and I ended up going with her recommendations (both of which were great as well). She really knows her industry and how to capture beautiful shots.

We booked Indigo right from the beginning of our engagement! We absolutely knew that we wanted them and wanted to make sure that we got them. Jay and Mimi were truly a dream to work with. So laid back, but made sure that they got "the shot." We can't thank them enough and can't wait to see all of our pictures!

I was floored by how gorgeous the pictures came out. They looked so professional- great colors, angles, black and whites, vintage sepia, all different styles. Not only did the photos look stunning, Indigo is reasonably priced compared to other professional photographers and there work is even better than most! I would highly recommend them. Mimi and Jay are fun and cool people and handled my crazy wedding party with stride!

I absolutely LOVED working with Jay and Mimi at Indigo. I was blown away by the images that they took for my bridal portraits. They came up with some really creative shots, while still giving us some of the traditional as well. They also worked with my husband and I on finding great opportunities to take pictures on the way to the reception and stole us away for a brief time in the middle of the reception to capture some really special shots of just the two of us. We were thrilled with the results and would certainly recommend them to anyone.

I dont even know where to begin when talking about Stephanie....she is FABULOUS!!!! Not only is she super smart, talented and creative, but she is so much fun to be around (exactly what you need when you are super nervous on your wedding day)!

Stephanie also goes above and beyond to make sure she gets the best shot possible - for example, I was planning on putting my dress on/getting ready at the dressing room my church provided. My bridesmaids and I were getting ready at The Ballantyne - and while we were waiting in the lobby for our transportation to pick us up - Stephanie came running through the front doors. To my surprise - she had already went to the church and saw my dressing room (aka how small it was) - and wanted to catch me before we left to tell me that she thought I should put my dress on/get ready at the Ballantyne for the best possible pictures. I was SO happy she did that - the pictures turned out WONDERFUL. Once we saw the dressing room - which consisted of a bathroom and enough space for 5 people to be packed in like sardines - I could not have been more thankful.

I continue to send her emails telling her I miss her now that my wedding is over...she was just a total blast and exceeded our expectations by 1000%. I would recommend Stephanie to any bride who wants to blown away by their pictures - she is seriously incredible!!! THANK YOU STEPHANIE!!!

If you want perfection for your engagement/wedding photos Indigo is it. You won't find any cookie cutter photos here. We worked with Jay and Mimi and they are the best of the best. Indigo Photography was by far the best vendor that I used for my wedding. They were very professional, responsive, and really took the time to get to know my future husband and I so they met all of our expectations for our photos. The pictures that they took for our engagement and wedding were absolutely AMAZING! Stephanie Pulliam is a fantastic photographer and she captured every moment of our wedding. Initially, we were having a very hard time finding the right photographer for us. By the time of our first appointment with Andy at Indigo, we were admittedly a little frustrated with the whole process but he managed to turn that all around in a matter of minutes. I was completely taken by his sincerity, his passion for what he does, and his enthusiastic approach to getting the job done. We felt completely at ease, confident and excited to have the opportunity to work with him - and he did not disappoint.

When he revealed our engagement photos to us, I was speechless. Each one was better than the next and I couldn't stop smiling, laughing, and crying - all at the same time. And the response from our friends and family was just as positive. Even at the wedding, they all kept telling me how fantastic he was - how they had never seen a photographer be so energetic and snap so many pictures without being obtrusive at the same time. And at the time of this review, I have only seen a sneak peak of the wedding photos, but I can tell already that they will be just as great.

Andy is amazingly talented, but he is also a genuinely nice, cool guy and some you want to be friends with. It is so important to hire someone you feel that connection with because it only makes your pictures better. We feel like we hit the jackpot with Andy and the Indigo team and will be forever greatful! Thank you Andy.

Indigo is the BEST! They photographed my sisters wedding and so when it came time for me to get married I knew they were who I wanted to use. I loved my photographer. They were willing to work with me and i had them do engagement photos and wedding photos. They even ended up staying later then supposed to in order to get the pictures that i wanted. Also the pictures that i got back were wonderful! i loved them so much. i would recommend them to anybody who asked who to use for their wedding photographer

Indigo photography, specifically Jay and Mimi were amazing and I do not regret working with them for a second. With Jay and Mimi it is not just "business as usual". They really take the time to get to know you, your like and dislikes. The obviously love what they do and it shows in their work. Indigo was highly recommended to us for our daughter's wedding. From the moment we met Jay, we knew the pictures would be so professional. Indigo's 3 photographers spent the entire wedding day with all us and captured beautiful images both at the church and the reception. Their professionalism was evident and the finished pictures are so beautiful. They provided a comfortable environment for the bride and groom as well as the other guests. Jay and Mimi with Indigo Photography were amazing. Our original photographer fell through and we had to book with a 2 month deadline approaching. Jay and Mimi were eager to help and highly recommended within the Charlotte photography scene. I had heard of their services previously and they did not fail to deliver! Their flexibility, artistic quality, understanding of our vision, and edgy personalities made the day fun, exciting, and memorable. They worked diligently with a tight timeframe and kept the bridal party and guests on schedule. They were not too pushy on getting their shots, but made sure to pull us away when a "Kodak moment" occurred. I strongly recommend their services to any residents in Charlotte and surrounding cities.

Indigo Photo came highly recommended to me from a few people. The wedding photos were very important to me and I wanted someone who would take creative shots so our album would stick out from the rest. Everyone in the wedding party loved the photographer who was full of energy. The shots were beautiful. I also got my wedding portrait done. We were able to keep the proofs which in total added up to almost 800 pictures! When my dog got into them and chewed up a few, they even replaced them for me. Indigo was over by budget and I thought they were a bit pricing to get an album for us and our parents. Looking back I would probably make the parents albums instead to save on the cost. But all in all, they did a wonderful job! I don't think we could have gotten a better photographer anywhere in charlotte

I really loved Stephanie's work, but she was not supposed to be my original photographer. The original photographer double booked his day, which was unprofessional, so she became my photographer and I was given a secondphot ographer on my wedding day to make up for it. The second photographer's work was not good! All of his shots looked dark instead of vibrant like stephanie's and he was supposed to do a photobooth but against a backdrop we bought but all the pictures were of background stuff instead of just the screen and guests.
