For our wedding I wanted to hire a videographer, my husband did not. I’m SO HAPPY I didn’t listen to him because this team was AMAZING! They are very responsive, professional, and did an amazing job! With a few little kids in the wedding they did an excellent job making sure they got video of them while also getting a ton of video of my husband and I (some things I didn’t even realize they got!). The two videographers I had day of were the best, they went above and beyond on my wedding day. My day of coordinator was no where to be found all day and ended up leaving the venue early. The videographers helped make sure my day stayed on schedule and helped make my day perfect, while also getting lots of video!

Now, a month after our wedding my husband watches our video trailer constantly and I am SO happy I didn’t listen to him and hired this company! If you’re like me and debating it… HIRE THEM!! You will not regret it!

Capture your special moments with stunning footage!

Cannot recommend In Motion enough. Our videographer took the time to meet with us to get to know what was most important in capturing our big day. The video turned out stunning and high quality and it is so special to have the footage to look back on for a lifetime. Definitely recommend In Motion to capture your special events!

We only had to wait 3 weeks for our wedding video!!

Gene was amazing to work with! He took the time to meet and get to know my husband and I as a couple before working with us, his schedule was flexible which was great for our busy lives and he was very kind and accommodating! Our wedding videos came back about 3 and a half weeks after our wedding, I was shocked at how fast we received everything! The video quality is beautiful and Gene and his co-shooter did an incredible job catching all moments and aspects of our wedding day. We highly recommend In Motion Video!

Amazing experience!

My wife and I can’t speak highly enough about In Motion Video. Working with Gene was an amazing experience. For a long time we didn’t think we would be able to afford video services and it was something we both really wanted. We are so happy we found In Motion Video. Gene worked with us on a package that included everything we wanted. All the consultations leading up to the big day went so smoothly and made us feel confident in our decision. When the day came we got to meet Gene for the first time and he was a pleasure to work with. He was so kind and made both of us feel extremely comfortable. He captured everything we wanted down to the smallest of details. It truly felt like he became a fly on the wall to our day and captured things we didn’t even recall or remember. Both him and our photographers worked great together to make sure everything was captured in such a beautiful way. Our highlights reel is a true reflection of us and what we wanted. The music along with the selection of clips came out better than we could have ever expected. Even the raw footage is amazing to have because you get to go back and rewatch all parts of your day, even the stuff you missed out on. It has been an amazing feeling to get to go back and relive the magic of the day over and over again. Gene didn’t just record our day, he captured it in the most wonderful way and it is something we can now cherish for years. We can not recommend In Motion Video enough! You will not regret hiring them for your big day!

Great product, great service

Gene provided video services for our wedding in May 2023. Booking with him was extremely quick and easy. Once we signed our initial contract, we did change the services we wanted a few times to align with our timeline once everything was sorted out. Each time we modified, Gene answered our questions quickly and revising the contrast was a breeze. We selected to have an approximately 10 minute trailer to show an overview of our entire day, plus full ceremony footage. We were extremely pleased with what we received! Gene allowed us to go back and forth with him a few times to make very minor edits to our trailer to assure we received exactly what we wanted. He also allows you to pick the music for your video, so you can assure you get a soundtrack that is meaningful to you. He delivered our product very quickly and the quality is clearly very high. We have already watched our videos received countless times! Overall, very satisfied with the services rendered, the professional quality of the product, and the customer service received along the way. The price for his services, comparable to others on the market was also within our budget. Great value for a very professional quality product!

Very responsive, amazing personalized video product

We really enjoyed working with InMotion Video. Gene was extremely helpful during our selection process giving us access to numerous videos of his past work of a variety of different styles of weddings and couple personalities. Once we booked, he was extremely responsive with any questions or requests I had throughout the planning process. He was very flexible with us adding an additional location on our wedding day.

It is so impressive the amount of footage Gene was able to capture throughout the wedding day (multiple cameras and drone footage!). Unlike a lot of other videographers, we liked that we received all the "raw" footage and that we had input to what was included in our highlights video and the song selections. This helps the video be very catered to you as a couple and not just some cookie-cutter movie with images of you put in it. High quality product at a great value.

Very accommodating

Gene was able to schedule and work with us even with short notice due to COVID. Gene returned a year later to film our renewal vows and reception. Both of our wedding events were met with major weather issues and last minute changes. Gene was flexible and easy to work with.

In motion video was the absolute best!

We were recommended to In Motion Video by our photographer and after viewing tons of sample videos we instantly knew that we wanted to work with Gene. From the moment I first inquired with In Motion video, I was immediately impressed by the response times and communication from Gene. He was so friendly and went above and beyond to help us create the vision that we had intended for our love documentary and wedding video. High Quality and Excellent Value

We hired In Motion Video for our wedding and could not be happier with how everything turned out. They offer several packages, or you can customize what you want. When I researched videographers, I compared about 15 companies and thought that In Motion Video had the best combination of value and quality. The quality and sound of our videos are top-notch. While Gene was the primary person, I worked with from beginning to end, Tim was our actual videographer for the day. Tim was super nice and professional; he blended right into the crowd and did a superb job capturing everything. Gene was fantastic to work with, he is very responsive, and we got our 10-minute wedding trailer within a month of our wedding. Gene must be short for Genius because he brilliantly captured the emotions of the day. We highly recommend In Motion Video!

Really cool video

Gene was very professional and provided excellent videography service for our wedding. He was very attentive to detail and the short version (highlights) of our wedding video captures the most important moments of the night and includes beautiful detailing of my dress, shoes, bridesmaids, etc., as well as the scenery (inside an aquarium) and footage of our guests. We also loved the soundtrack to our wedding; it makes us want to dance just watching it. His editing was superb, intermixing different parts of the event so it's not just one long scene of our wedding. He also made suggestions of things we should do (e.g. "look in the mirror this way" while we were getting dressed), which ended up looking fantastic in the final video. The video also has beautiful coloring and effects.

Gene was very easy to work with, and he coordinated and worked well with our other vendors. He also was very responsive in answering our questions when preparing for our wedding and flexible in customizing our requests. In Motion Video quickly provided the product requested after the wedding, which we will cherish forever.
At first, we had debated whether to get a videographer, but we are really thrilled with Gene's work and are extremely grateful that we hired him! He produced a really engaging video that we and our relatives love to watch. For his level of expertise, he offered a great price, as well. We highly recommend In Motion Video!

Value deal

My husband and I had a 300 + person, multi-day Indian wedding. We wanted someone to capture all of the moments and give us the raw video so that we could create the highlights video ourselves. Not only that, but we also wanted a livestream which we requested less than a month away, which Gene and his team happily accommodated. Gene and his team were on time, professional, pleasant to work with, took direction well and gave exactly the product we had desired. They were in my husband's words, "a gem". Great value and I would highly recommend them.

More than we could have asked for!

The absolute best videographer we could have asked for! Gene was wonderful from day 1 – he was responsive, caring, flexible, and professional, and so easy to work with. He worked to understand our vision and the specific pieces of our wedding that we wanted to be recorded, and was always available for questions, timeline updates, suggestions, etc.

One of my biggest concerns was whether or not microphones or cameras used to video would be invasive or noticeable, and it was anything but! My husband wore a small mic on his tux that we did not even know was there, and Gene’s equipment is perfect for all settings – professional and formal, yet compact enough that we hardly noticed it happening.

The end result was so much more than we imagined it would be and we couldn’t be happier with our video. It was very obvious that Gene has a lot of experience and we were so lucky to have found him. Each specific moment that we asked to be captured was, and it was done so seamlessly. All of the lighting, timing, and audio was perfect both on the day of our wedding and in the final video.

Gene was so kind in putting it all together, asking us if we wanted to select our own songs or if we wanted him to prepare it (we selected our own and love how Gene worked it all in!), adding specific moments into different versions, and allowing us to have as much input as we wanted. The turnaround time was so quick, and I can’t stress enough how easy it was to work with Gene throughout the process, which is so important with the stress of planning a wedding!

Pricing was also extremely reasonable and the best that we found in our search – if you are considering, I would 100% recommend booking InMotion. A videographer was not originally in our budget, but after watching some of their other films and seeing how wonderful they were and how awesome of a keepsake it would be, we decided it was a must – cutting costs in other areas to make sure we could have this special video.

Our parents, family, and friends are so impressed with it as well, and it’s been so fun to watch over and over again and remember how fun and special our day was. I cannot recommend Gene and InMotion more – we are ecstatic and so thankful for everything!

Gene and his team were absolutely amazing! From the get go, Gene was very responsive to all emails and coordinating what we wanted in our video. The day of the wedding you didn’t even know he was there with his video camera. He was never ever in the way and we only heard great these from our guests about interacting with him. Fast forward to the best part, the video. WOW! We feel like we are reliving our wedding every time we watch it. Gene did an outstanding job, we highly recommend him!!

I can't say enough amazing things about Gene. From start to finish, Gene made everything so simple and captured our wedding so perfectly.

From the very beginning, Gene was responsive, timely, and helpful in helping us choose our video options and creating a schedule. He answered my [many] questions with such clarity, no matter how many I had.

On wedding day, he arrived on time to each location-- first to video me getting ready, then to video my fiancee at a different location. When we all went to the venue, he followed us around with our photography staff for a while, and also took some time to videotape the area-- which we would later see in our video was incredibly artistic and captured our venue so beautifully and naturally. Our wedding timeline got kind of thrown off for other reasons, and when asked to stay a little later to capture more party, Gene quickly agreed, which we are deeply grateful for.

We received our 20 min highlight video 3 weeks after sending him our list of requested songs. The video was perfect. It was absolutely PERFECT. He captured everything so wonderfully, so beautifully, and in such high quality. He even brought a drone to get some beautiful extra views! The sound quality was perfect because he gave our officiant a microphone. THIS WAS HUGE. I have seen many wedding videos where the sound quality is terrible because the videographer is like 20 ft away trying to capture on dinky mics. Ours has beautiful sound, we can clearly hear all of the parts of the ceremony and everything else during the evening.

I found Gene through WeddingWire, saw a few of his videos, and based on price and the videos I saw, I decided he would do a good job on our video. This was an understatement. He is tremendously talented, professional, and did an AMAZING job. We can't recommend using In Motion Video any higher!! Thank you, Gene!

I think I've watched my wedding short 100 times! I absolutely love it and it makes me so happy to be able to re-live our wedding day. Gene was so natural with his video camera that I barely noticed he was constantly walking around recording everything. The wedding short that he cut was so perfect - he even timed the music so that the video transitioned beautifully. It was so emotional! And, the sound on the video during the ceremony and speeches was SPECTACULAR. We had an outdoor ceremony at the Four Seasons and there was medium/heavy wind, but our words on the video were really really clear. After planning and caring about every little wedding detail, I was so happy when Gene sent me the wedding short and it was EXACTLY what I wanted. I highly highly recommend using In Motion Video!!!

This review is long overdue, as we got married in March, however InMotion and Gene were INCREDIBLE! I waited until about a month before because I didn't know if a wedding video was in my budget, but I am so so so glad I ended up having InMotion/Gene create a wedding video. My only regret is not booking sooner, because the video he created is hands down my favorite memento from our wedding day. I am very type-A and a project manager by trade, so I can't help but micromanage anyone that comes across my path. Not only did Gene work beautifully with me, but he made the entire process SO easy. Planning a wedding can be so overwhelming, especially because I've never worked with wedding vendors before, and that made me a little nervous. Gene's process was so simple and I can't even give any constructive criticism, because everything was better than I could have imagined. I met with all of my vendors ahead of time, except for Gene -there was no need to. He took every detail I gave him into careful consideration and no request was too small or large.

When I initially contracted with him I took quite a bit of time looking at all of his videos from other weddings and trying to pinpoint things I liked and things I didn't like to try and tell him what would be best, but everything was so well done that I knew we were in good hands! I was anxiously awaiting our wedding video after our wedding day, and he delivered it a week ahead of time and it was beautiful. I cried tears of joy the first time watching it, and then again when I watched it with my mother and then again with my grandmother. It's truly something we will remember forever.

If you're on the fence about booking a videographer, get off the fence and book with Gene. Find a way to add this into your wedding budget, you will not be disappointed.

We absolutely LOVED our DVDs we received. We purchased the basic package and we received a DVD of the Ceremony, a DVD of the raw footage and a DVD of the full wedding highlights! My husband and I have watched our wedding highlights DVD at least 20 times already and we just got married in June! I highly recommend using Gene and In Motion Video to capture your wedding day. I LOVE our video and have watched it over and over again. Gene was so easy to work with; we barely noticed he was filming. He also completed our video very quickly. We did not have to wait months and months to get ours back. If you are a bride still deciding on whether to get a videographer- my advice is to DO IT and use In motion. The price is well worth the product you get, and you get to re-live your wedding day.

Love the raw footage! I didn't meet Gene until the day of the wedding because my father was handling the videography portion. I sent my father a list, and I'm so glad that he went with In Motion. I had a few emails with him shortly before the wedding to add extra coverage, and I'm happy that I did. We got married at Pond View Farm, and Gene did a fantastic job. He was excellent at moving around quietly, making sure that he didn't get in the way or interrupt anything. Half the time, I forgot he was even there because he was so stealthy. He was very nice & polite to everyone, didn't overstep any boundaries while filming, and he made all of us ladies feel comfortable while he was in the house with us. He didn't ask us at all to pause or re-do a shot/pose. Just under 2 weeks after our wedding, our raw DVDs arrived the day before we got back from the honeymoon. We were impressed at the timeliness of the delivery, and I can't stop watching them. I'm really excited for the trailer and full highlight videos to arrive. I'm psyched we decided to have videography coverage, and it's great to re-watch the whole day to remember it, also see things we weren't around for. Thank you so much Gene!

So worth it!! If any bride is thinking about hiring a wedding videographer, Gene did a fantastic job at our wedding! We had our wedding at the Naval Academy on February 20th and we had a blast. It's 2 weeks later and we already have our DVDs of the ceremony, and after footage. I am so glad that we decided to go with InMotion Video. We could not be happier with our wedding video, and we are so happy we decided to not only book a videographer, but to book In Motion. Gene was FANTASTIC to work with, the poor guy was so patient dealing with all of my revision request. I wasn’t the quickest person to respond, but each time he would take my concerns make the revisions and get it back to me very quickly. At the end of the day the video was AMAZING!!! My sister also used Gene, and we both can’t stop talking about how amazing the video is and how we can’t stop watching it, and love reliving that special day in our lives. Gene his crew, and equipment were inconspicuous throughout our whole day, I forgot he was even there. Don’t skip this little detail, I promise you won’t regret the decision.

We worked with Gene for our daughter's wedding. Gene was great and the videos are wonderful. He captured all the special moments of the day! The wedding was at Raven Stadium, and Gene made sure that he got every aspect of the wedding and reception, along with the bride and groom getting ready. On the day of the wedding, the bride and groom and their parents don't remember everything because they are so caught up in the moment. It was wonderful to be able to watch the videos and see the whole day. It was perfect, and Gene was fabulous. Our daughter and her husband could not have been happier!!!!

Gene was wonderful to work with. We do not live in the Annapolis area, so all of our communications were via email and phone calls. He was very flexible and quick to respond to any questions we had. This is an investment you shouldn't dare skip. In hindsight IMV's services were my best spent wedding budget funds. From beginning to end, they were polite and professional as well as very flexible with us. Best of all though, is my finished product I've received. My highlights video is like viewing my own fairytale love story on the big screen in the best quality 3D. I will never enjoy another movie as much as I've enjoyed watching ours ever again. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with In Motion Video for our wedding in Annapolis on 9/13/2014. We decided to book a videographer about a month before our wedding as a somewhat last minute decision. We are SO glad we did.

Gene was great to work with and made the process very easy and stress-free. He was flexible to work with different amounts of filming time, etc to try to help us stay within our budget. When there were a million details to work on a month out from the wedding, working with Gene to set up videographer services was actually very easy! It was one of the easiest vendor services to set up.

Joe did a great job on the day of the wedding. We hardly even knew he was there (in a good way!). He was very low profile in his filming but somehow still managed to capture all the key parts of the ceremony and reception! He was friendly and super nice.

The trailer and highlight videos that Gene developed came out wonderful. We were absolutely amazed the first time that we sat down and watched them. The wedding day itself flies by so quickly.. it literally took our breath away to be able to sit and watch it again. To be able to watch us say our vows.. see our first dance.. and see the smiles of family and friends means so much to us. Gene and Joe had a wonderful eye for capturing the special moments of the day and compiling them into a beautiful video that we will forever cherish.

Booking a videographer was a last minute decision we made and we're so very glad we did. It was one of our best decisions in regards to wedding planning. It was a very reasonable cost for something that will always mean so much. I would absolutely recommend using In Motion Video as your videographer for your wedding! You will be so glad you did!

If you want a quality video, at a very reasonable price, Gene from In Motion Video is your man. Gene is very professional, stays out of your way, and has a talent for capturing the moments that truly take your breath away! Gene did my daughter’s wedding, as well as my nephews wedding and both of them and their spouses were extremely pleased with the finished product. We showed our wedding highlight video to family and friends and everyone’s reaction was “OMG that video is AMAZING!” I couldn’t agree more! He even let us choose the music so we were able to incorporate our personal taste which was a wonderful touch! We bought the unedited raw footage as extra and I highly recommend doing that so you can see the whole day exactly how it went. It is worth the extra cost, trust me!!! I will always be eternally grateful to Gene at In Motion Video for making one of the most important days of my life such an incredible experience and capturing all the emotion and beauty of the day through his artistic work. In Motion Video produced a true representation of all of our love, joy, and excitement! We will treasure this forever!

I absolutely loved working with Gene on my wedding! He did a wonderful job capturing our big day. With so many things to think about on your wedding day, vendors doing what they are supposed to shouldn't be one of them. Gene was not a vendor I had to think about. When we met him, we knew that he would do what he was supposed to and we wouldn't have to worry. Your wedding day goes by so fast and we are so glad we decided to have it recorded, it brought back so many great memories and showed us things that we missed. My husband and I really love our highlights video and having the raw footage and ceremony is a great memento. Gene did a great job and I would recommend him to anyone.

I am so happy with the level of professionalism and service I received from Gene at In Motion Video. The day of our first meeting he braved bad traffic to travel to my house to meet with my husband and I which really sealed the deal for me. After meeting Gene my husband and I knew that we had made the right choice. On the day of the wedding Gene was did wonderful, he captured every moment and he was right when he told us that we wouldn't even realize he was filming. He did a fantastic job and the quality of his work speaks volumes! His service is worth every penny and I'm so happy we made the decision to have our wedding captured on video.

Very good service! Very timely, met with us for our before event meeting at a location and time easy for us (my husband and I lived 1.5 hours apart before we got married). Our church had strict policies but that didn't stop Gene from getting a great video. The angles he got still amaze me. Things moved fast but he didn't miss anything. My mom will be hiring him as well for my brother's wedding.

We meet with several videographers and decided to go with Gene from In Motion Video.

the quality of his videos surpassed all the other sample videos we saw. You can tell that he cares about the outcome of the video. The sample he showed us was excellent. It had every special moment a bride would want in the video.

We were just married on Jan. 12 and I am sure that once we receive the edit draft of the video that we will love it. Can' wait! Gene was very professional and I am glad we decided to go with his services.

Hiring a videography company was a little scary because there were so many mixed reviews. The rip-off factor seemed higher with this service than with others. The nightmare stories are definitely out there. You need a wedding video though, don't even try to think you'll remember anything from your wedding!

We went with In Motion Video and dealt with Gene the entire way.

From our early communication all the way through to the final touches on our dvds, the process was smooth and easy.

Leading up to the wedding all of our calls and emails returned within a day. We had several changes to our meeting times and places and this was no problem.

The day of the wedding there were more changes. Everything was late and in general plan A failed. Again no problems. Eventually when we were ready a tall man dressed in black introduced himself then started filming right away.

I literally did not say another word to this man until the wedding was over when he thanked me and said goodnight.

It was just a couple weeks later when our videos were ready to preview. Everything was gorgeous, and high quality. We did get the package that allows input and changes but we didn't want to change a thing.

Not having our wedding recorded would have been the biggest mistake we could have made. We didn't remember a thing from that night and certainly didn't even get to see half of what all was going on with our guests.

Perfect vendor.

Not much selling was needed for me to book Gene. My friend got married and used him for her wedding video and it was awesome. Gene made me feel comfortable and was more than accommodating. My video turned out absolutely perfect I watched in 10 time in a week. It was the best money spent on my wedding and i will cherish it forever!

In Motion Video did the videography for our wedding and it was outstanding! Gene was very professional and easy to work with. My husband and I met with him one time prior to the wedding and the rest of the planning was done via email, which was great with all of the other busy wedding details. During the wedding, Gene was never in the way and got great video of everything. We received our highlights video, ceremony video and raw footage a few weeks later and it was perfect! He even sent us a draft copy to watch first so that we could make changes to it if we wanted. I would highly recommend Gene and In Motion Video for your wedding!

Gene from In-Motion Video provided the videography services for our wedding at the Sheraton Hotel Inner Harbor Baltimore on 7/14/2012. Gene was nothing short of AWESOME.
From our first meeting Gene was very professional, knowledgeable, and personalized...which we loved. We got the best feelings from the vendors who genuinely loved what they do and wanted to make our wedding special. Often, the vendors can treat the event like every other event...Gene made us feel very comfortable that he wanted to capture our day the way we envisioned. He brought examples of his work for us to view which helped us get an idea of the quality of his work. We found Gene to be very flexible in the package we put together. He worked with us on our budget to find the best package we could that worked for both parties. He was always available when we had questions and he responded very quickly.
On to our wedding day...Gene was like a fly on the wall - and I mean that in the absolute best way possible. We decided to only have one videographer work the event but judging by the video we just received you would never have known he did it all alone! Our site coordinator and photographer both expressed how easy it was to work with Gene. He was on time, organized, and very friendly to all of our guests. He was exactly where we discussed and when to take video of us both getting ready...
Now for our video. First of all it is very worth noting that we received our highlights video for review on Aug 21...barely 1 month after our event! We had Gene make a couple changes after our review and he did so without any problems. He really is so easy to work with. We now have our final copies in our possession and we could not be happier! The quality of the video, the way he used our music selections, the transitions, the story he told, we love it. We highly recommend Gene to anyone looking for a videographer!

I did a lot of research looking for the best videographer that was affordable and I found In Motion Video. I went on their website and watched some of the videos and instantly knew that was what I was looking for and I was right. Gene did an awesome job! He was able to capture everything and create an artistic montage of what happened that day. Both my husband and I were in tears when we watched the preview video, as if we were re-living our wedding all over again.

Working with Gene was fabulous! I wasn't certain I would be able to find a videographer that would cover my event without breaking the bank, given the amount of time I needed (12 hours). Gene and In Motion Video did that and so much more...our video came out beautiful!!!! Not only did he capture all of the special moments of our day, the video seems to highlight our personality as a couple. Our family loved the video just as much as we did. Gene at In Motion Video is an absolute gem!! The best value for your money! I can't say enough good things about Gene. My husband was initially against having a Videographer, but after meeting Gene he was sold. After viewing the video, he is soooo glad we went through with it. In the months leading up to our wedding, Gene met with us to find out what exactly we wanted. He came up with the perfect package with everything we wanted while still keeping our budget. He was 100% professional throughout the process. On our wedding day, Gene was prompt and professional. He came for the "getting ready" shots and we hardly noticed him there. Gene was not the "in your face" type of Videographer, but still gets the footage right in the middle of everything. Our DVDs were ready within a couple of weeks! The quality is OUTSTANDING! I have received soooo many compliments on the video. We have watched to DVD 100 times over and are still amazed! Gene captured every special moment with a creative twist.
