We selected Il Villaggio more than a year before our needed date for a 50th HS Class reunion. Every step of the way while planning, Chris the banquet manager was helpful with all questions as the date approached. The night of our reunion could not have gone better either, food was excellent as was the staff right down to the car valets. Il Villaggio truly made for a great event and evening for us!

We didn’t get married at Il Villaggio, but we had our reception there and it was better than I could have ever imagined. First off, it’s a beautiful venue inside and out with high ceilings and a classic Italian vibe that’s perfect for weddings. Chris was a pleasure to work with and made sure everything we wanted we got. The cocktail hour was legendary, the food was so good, people are still talking about how good the pasta was. The dance floor is nice and big. We had like 3 open bars going, and in general everyone had a great time. Chris even threw in a chocolate fountain for us on the house. We were treated like royalty by the amazing staff. It’s not cheap, but the value you get for your money there beats most places in the area. If you are thinking of having your wedding at Il Villaggio go for it, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for everything, Chris.

We had our wedding here and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the staff showed incredible professionalism and coordination. Following my engagement in December 2023, I met with Christopher Budinich, Director of Catering and Events, in February 2024. Chris proved to be an exceptional professional, showcasing genuine and standout qualities. He provided prompt and thorough answers to all my inquiries, making the planning process seamless. We secured our date for June 2025, and throughout the year, Chris maintained open communication, offering invaluable recommendations for photography, videography, music, floral arrangements, decoration, limousine services, hotels, and bakeries. His expertise and guidance were instrumental in creating our dream wedding. Chris presented himself with the warmth and familiarity of a long-time friend, always readily available to assist. His exceptional service and gracious demeanor made him an instant friend to us. The wedding package included a cocktail hour that exceeded our expectations. The private room offered an extensive selection of dishes, including cooked seafood, filet mignon tips, and various hors d'oeuvres. We also had the option to choose two stations, opting for a potato bar and an Italian station. The sheer variety and quality of the food were astounding, with many guests expressing that they had never experienced a cocktail hour of this caliber. The dinner entrées were equally impressive, with three options available, including chicken breast, salmon, and filet mignon. Our maître d', Leo, ensured that the food was exceptional, and the chef was prepared to accommodate any special requests. We also included the Venetian hour in our package, which took place during the final hour of the wedding. This extravagant spread featured an array of pastries, including a breathtaking chocolate fondue fountain and a cannoli station. The attention to detail and organization were impeccable, leaving a lasting impression on our guests. Chris willingness to accommodate our needs and exceed our expectations was truly appreciated. I am a wedding planner that worked with Chris and his team at the Il Villaggio for a wedding this past Sunday. They are absolutely amazing! His team took direction and maintained excellent communication throughout the entire day. Working with with them made my job so much easier. I saw Chris and his team go above and beyond for my client. They ensured that the ceremony room and ballroom were absolutely breathtaking for the couple and guests to walk into. His team ensured that I had everything I needed and we could collectively made sure the decor met the couple's standards. And the food was delicious. You really get the most value for your money with a place like the Il Villaggio.

We met with Chris and everything we spoke about was exactly followed at the venue. He was very helpful and professional. Even our vendors were happy to work with him. We received so many wonderful compliments from the guests, and weeks later are still talking about the wedding. The food was amazing, and the guests loved the food and even raved about the cocktail hour and the main menu. Thank you for helping to make such a memorable celebration.

I cannot say enough good things about Il Villaggio. We had our wedding reception there on 9/23/23. From start to finish, Il Villaggio was a dream to work with. From the moment we walked in for the initial tour to the moment our reception ended we truly felt the love and support of the entire staff. From the food choices, the customization of our cocktail hour and dinner, to the ambiance they created with the lighting and cleanliness of the entire place, nothing is left to be desired. The bridal suite was perfect for us and our bridal party to do touch ups and have a moment to rest in between the different functions. We definitely plan to be back. Love love love.

Il Villaggio is THE place to have a wedding! From start to finish, our wedding was handled with the greatest attention and care we could’ve asked for. Their ballroom is gorgeous, cocktail hour is elaborate, and attention to detail is superb. Chris, and previously Patrick, are super easy to get in touch and plan with. Chris is very responsive to emails and phone calls and makes sure to work with the bride and groom to ensure their requests are met. On the day of our wedding, the whole staff was professional and respectful. From our bridal attendant, to the maitre d, to the wait staff and bartenders— they made our night so easy with nothing to worry about on our end! Chris made sure to have all our personal affects displayed in a beautiful way, including personalized bride and groom drinks. Our guests have been telling us that the food for cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert was all phenomenal. I can’t recommend Il Villaggio’s food enough, it is really of the highest quality. They also work with incredible vendors and we were able to find and work with Jenifer Studios, Broderick’s Florist, Danaro Limos, and Mondo Entertainment because they were recommended to us by Il Villaggio. We had such an amazing wedding reception and we owe it all to Il Villaggio! We can’t thank them enough!

We come to Il Villaggio for late lunch early dinner and drinks every couple of weeks and we love the place. Dennis the Chef is just the best there is and the bartender Jimmy is always very welcoming to everyone. Friday August 11, 2023 we had our wedding reception here. We eloped in April and decided to have a family celebration so we met with Chris who handles all of the weddings. Chris and his staff made themselves available whenever we needed anything. To answer questions, aid and assisting hiring vendors, panning menus, decor etc. This is a very well oiled machine that the Owner Ralph has put together. Our guests commented over and over again how elegant the setting is here. Ours was a more intimate crowd of 57 guests, however, they absolutely accommodate large full scale weddings in their grand ballroom which is also very warm and well appointed. Very inviting and elegant. The staff was on target all evening long from the servers, to my bridal attendant Angie, the bartender Steven, the Maitre D Leoand of coarse Chris and Dennis all doing their special part to make us feel like family. Our entire family raved about the food too. We had a five hour continuous cocktail party with vast food choices from around the globe. Aside from what we would love which is a lot of Italian delicacies, we had a Southern Comfort Station and a Havana Station that the guests went crazy for. They added a unique twist with different food choices. Every table we visited the plates were full of different foods everyone was trying. Guests said this was the most unqique selection and they could not decide so they ate as mush as they could have everything. First hour featured a raw bar of oysters, clams and shrimp that were fantastic. Lots of chafing dishes eggplant rollotini, sausage and broccoli rabe, meats, chicken IlVillaggio, pastas, salads, antipasto's, mozzarella, lamb chops, spanakopita, egg rolls, shrimp tempura, coconut shrimp etc. etc. The list seemed endless. The nest four hours were caring stations, homemade pastas, sides, the specialty stations, veal, chicken beef, prime rib you name it. All along keeping the bar flowing. The entire evening of music by Phil and Mary from NY Sound Machine was awesome, the photographer David Miller made sure to capture the festivities, the cake from Callandra's in Fairfield was fresh strawberries and whip cream just delicious! This was a night we and our family and friends will never forget, thank. you for making our dream wedding so perfect from the beginning of the planning process to the end! And we did this in a very short window thanks to Il Villaggio. Photos to follow...

Everything about working with Il Villaggio and Patrick and the team were better than I could have ever expected. They really went above and beyond. We had around 50 guests and were so happy to be accommodated for our small wedding. We had our ceremony and reception there. The guests loved the food, said it was the best they’ve had at any wedding ever! We had brought all of our decor the night before and when we arrived everything was set up PERFECTLY. The team is so incredible, kind, and attentive and we couldn’t have had a better experience.

My family and I looked at many venues when we began our search for wedding venues. We were greeted immediately by Patrick, who was so friendly and polite. This was during Covid and we were very nervous about what the future held. From the get go, Patrick made us comfortable and reassured us that everything would go as planned and would go smooth. Boy was he right! We decided to book with Patrick and his team. Throughout the whole process, Patrick was there for us and very responsive. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and it was just the perfect size for the amount of guests we were having. Everything from our bridal attendant, to the waiters, decor, vibe, lighting, atmosphere, bridal suite.. was absolutely perfect. Not to mention the most delicious food and best penne w/ vodka sauce we have ever tasted! It was the most amazing night and we wish we could relive it again. Il Villaggio and its team are the cream of the crop. They do not only have the most beautiful venue but they also have the most amazing food, caring staff, and a manager who has compassion for his clients. We truly cannot express how thankful we are to Patrick and his team. He was there for us when we had to change our date a couple of times due to the pandemic and nothing could be easier than to work with him to have the wedding of our dreams. Our guests absolutely showered us with compliments about this venue and their food. We are talking high ceilings, magnificent chandeliers, state-of-the-art lights, and oh the food! Five stars and my highest recommendations - no need to look anywhere else!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Il Villaggio about two months ago, and we’re so pleased with our venue selection. From the moment we first stepped into the building, we were impressed by the atmosphere. The ballroom is beautiful, and didn’t require much else in terms of decor. It was also wonderful that the ballroom had LED lights built in, so we didn’t need to worry about those, either. Patrick was so helpful from the beginning, and it’s obvious he’s a seasoned professional when it comes to weddings. He also truly cares about both the wedding couple and the guests enjoying themselves, and it shows. Il Villaggio does only one event at a time, so the staff was focused entirely on making our event the best it could possibly be. The day of our wedding, the staff regularly checked on us if we needed anything. It also seemed like our guests really liked the waitstaff as well. My husband and I were concerned we wouldn’t get to eat much at the reception, but the staff was already ahead of us. Shortly after we arrived, Gloria brought us a spread of most of the cocktail hour food to eat in the bridal suite. For dinner, we got all three of our chosen entrees, and we were given takeout containers for anything we didn’t finish. The food was all delicious (my husband is still raving about the Little Havana station in particular), and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Il Villaggio provided fantastic value for the money, and the staff is top notch. We’re so grateful to Il Villaggio for helping make our wedding day a success, and we highly recommend them for anyone wanting to hold an event.

My husband and I got married in Sept 2021. We had both our ceremony and reception at Il Villaggio. Every second of our special day was so amazing thanks to Patrick and his team. Even 5-months after our wedding friends and family are still raving about the event, how delicious the food was, how beautiful the venue was and how much fun they all had! I’ve always loved Il Villaggio for romantic date nights with my husband but now it will forever hold a special place in my heart for how amazing they took care of us for our wedding ! Where to begin!! Let me start with saying that even at almost a month out from our wedding day, we are still having our guests reach out to tell us that our wedding was one of the best they have ever attended. From the service, to the food, to the overall ambiance and energy, every minute of our wedding day was absolutely perfect due to the hard work and dedication of the Il Villaggio staff. Il Villaggio happened to be the very first venue that we met with and did a virtual tour of as we were still in the thick of covid when we began the wedding planning process. From the very first video call, we knew that we had come across something special not only in Il Villaggio as a venue, but in Patrick as well. There are simply not enough words to describe the number of roles Patrick plays in the process of making your dream wedding day a reality, he quite literally does it all. From the very first conversation, he was honest, realistic, extremely informative, and made us feel totally comfortable without ever feeling an ounce of pressure. When we were able to meet in person, all of the same feelings we had from the first video call were validated and we instantly felt like we had known Patrick for years. Not to mention the venue is absolutely beautiful and walking into the grand ballroom truly stops you in your tracks. Patrick and his team at Il Villaggio made the entire planning process easy, even from afar as my husband’s job moved us to Chicago shortly after we visited and booked the venue. Even without being able to meet in person, Patrick and the team never skipped a beat and never left a stone uncovered. Patrick thought of things I never would have thought of and made sure that the distance between us would cause me no additional stress and I could not be more appreciative. Fast forward to the day of the wedding, and I still cannot get over how much of a dream the day was from start to finish. Patrick, Leo and the Il Villaggio staff as a whole made sure that every single detail was attended to and mad sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We even had Patrick officiate our ceremony which he tailored to be unique to us as a couple and made the ceremony feel so intimate. From the cocktail hour into the reception, our guests were totally in awe. The rave reviews of the food, the beauty and grandeur of the ballroom, and the smoothness of the operation continue to roll in. About a yesr ago my fiancée Lisa Ann Norcia and I began planning a wedding celebration with her parents. It was my goal to give our family the greatest celebration of “LOVE” and in particular our Love. The sheer reason why I decided to marry Lisa Ann on November 9th 2019. Outstanding IlVillagio!!!

As far as venues go, this was perfect. The decor is beautiful and classy and the food was amazing!! (We went to the restaurant attached to try the food before hand and it really sold us on choosing this venue) We had a Sunday wedding and were the only event being held there that day (restaurant is closed Sundays). We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all at Il Villaggio and everything flowed nicely and was just smooth sailing the whole day.

Patrick at Il Villaggio was incredible! He was very kind, informative and accommodating when it came to planning and the day of the wedding. Any way he could help us, he did and he truly made the stress of finding a venue non existent. We are so grateful for his guidance and LOVED how everything turned out day of!

Our 8/24/19 Wedding at Il Villaggio was Remarkable thanks to Patrick Lopez and all of the staff! We planned our dream wedding in 6 short months and Patrick was there every step of the way! Our ceremony was on site. It was beautiful, stress-free. The food was OUTSTANDING! The best thing that we could have ever done was enjoy our cocktail hour upstairs in the bridal suite. Every item that our guests enjoyed was also hand served us. The bridal attendant was fantastic, she followed me around holding my bouquet and fixing my dress until it was time to party. I had nothing to worry about. The views and ballroom were absolutely beautiful and made for great pictures. The timing of everything was perfect and our guests raved about the food and the decor. We got married on July 14, 2019 and had our reception at Il Villaggio. The service was incredible!! I had my own bridal attendant who assisted me with my bustle for my wedding dress and getting my party shoes from upstairs after I was done with the first dance. All our guests RAVED about the food. As soon as we got to the venue, the bride and groom ate upstairs and had a moment of peace and quiet alone before we went downstairs to greet our dress. Also, they wrapped the food we didn’t eat so we can take it home the following day. Also, each table had its own server for drinks and our guests were really happy with how attentive they were. Working with Patrick was very professional and easy, and Patrick and his team made our wedding day amazing, easy and relaxing. The ballroom is beautiful and the way the chandelier lights changed with the music looked amazing. I am so happy we booked our wedding with Il Villaggio and highly recommend to any bride/groom.

We had our dream wedding at Il Villaggio on Sunday January 20th, 2019 (marital bliss made us late to leave this wonderful review). Il Villiaggio was actually the last place we looked at, as we thought this gorgeous and prestigious venue would be out of our budget. But, working with Patrick and some strategic planning, we knew we could make it work and that this was the place for us! With all the stresses of planning a wedding, Il Villiaggio made the process totally easy - from providing all information up front including payment plans, menus for cocktail hour & reception, and table sizes, to suggesting their additional room for the ceremony space AND we even hired The Wedding Boss to be our officiant. After the ceremony, we were ushered upstairs where we feasted on every savory tidbit offered at our cocktail hour (which was wildly appreciated since that was really the only thing we ate all night). From our entrance, to the first dance to the speeches, to the cake cutting, it was the perfect event. Our family and friends were blown away by the beautiful and regal decor of Il Villiaggio as well as the delicious food. Our wedding day had an expected guest, winter storm Harper. Instead of taking home the meals of our guests who could not attend due to the weather, we were welcomed to return on our first wedding anniversary to enjoy a meal at the restaurant. IL Villaggio made our dream wedding come true! Patrick is a man of his word and his team over delivered and exceeded our expectations! From the first time we met him, he was there for us every step of the way leading up to our big day. He has a "can do" attitude and there was no request he wasn't able to help with. We got endless compliments on how great the food was. Our guests went on and on about the quantity and quality of the food and drinks. The venue is beautiful and our pictures and videos are gorgeous! My husband and I knew when we walked in the venue September 2017 we wanted to book based on just the look of the venue. Our wedding was 11/17/18.
Upon walking in the entrance is stunning, everything is beautifully decorated and that’s before you even get into the ballroom. The ballroom is absolutely breathtaking with the many beautiful crystal chandeliers, spaced out tables so every guest can get up and move around and a stage where we put the DJ so you have an ample dance floor without tripping over wires or having a speaker next to a table. We worked with Patrick for planning our wedding and it was truly a pleasant experience that exceeded all expectations. Patrick was there every step of the way with attentiveness and patience with every question and concern. The day of the wedding, the staff was tremendously unbelievable. Every single staff member was so considerate to our bridal party, our friends and family, and to us even going as far as to clean and bustle my dress. Patrick sent us a day of email with kind words and even fixed my husband’s bow tie and gave a groomsman suspenders when his broke. There is one server per table which is unheard of at certain venues in NY (where we’re from). I have been flooded with calls and texts about how beautiful the venue was, how amazing and abundant the food was and how fun the party was. All the preferred vendors from the venue we went with and truly every single vendor was amazing and made the experience that much better for us. The food from the venue deserves a whole review just on its own. Everyone kept saying leading up to the wedding that the bride and groom are too busy to eat the day of their wedding, however, the staff made sure we had food and enjoyed ourselves. Every detail was thought of and taken care of from the staff so all my husband and I had to do was just enjoy ourselves. There was nothing we wanted for because everything was even better than we could have imagined. We knew we made the right decision booking at Il Villaggio and I’m so grateful they gave us the most memorable night of our lives. We expected great service based on Il Villaggio’s reputation but honestly, the team exceeded our highest expectations. From booking the date to cutting the cake and beyond - they were patient; informative and very professional. We were lucky enough to book Il Villaggio for our wedding, four months before our preferred wedding date. My hubby and I had the crazy idea that buying a house and planning a wedding would be easy and boy oh boy were we wrong. But as luck would have it, an event was cancelled for that day and were given the opportunity to book the date. At first we were a bit nervous about the food selection as our families are very particular about food (his family is from Senegal and mine are from Jamaica) but it's been a week and people are still raving about the food. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the staff is AMAZING!! They think of everything there - my bustles were not holding up my dress enough but Enma swooped in with safety pins and made it possible for me to dance all night. To Richard, Patrick (Mr. Wedding Boss) and the entire team THANK YOU for helping us bring our fairytale to reality!

I had my wedding here, I LOVED it! The food is amazing, you come to cocktail hour and you leave full of delicious food! You definitely get more then you pay for in my opinion. The service was awesome, if I had a problem- the staff always helped the day of. Before the wedding, Richard was always great about getting back to me about details and answers to any questions I had. They were very understanding about last minute changes I had and were very accommodating. All my guests were very please and surprised such a wonderful place could be found in Carlstadt NJ. I will definitely be keeping Il Villaggio in mind next time I plan a big event!

We got married on 08/25/18 and had our reception at Il Villaggio. We worked with Patrick through the entire process. We really felt that we could trust Patrick from the day we met him. We were so impressed by what Il Villaggio had to offer that we didn’t look any further. Patrick is honest and will not mislead you or sugar coat things. During our planning, he gave his opinion when we needed suggestions/ideas which was very helpful. He is also thorough and brought things to our attention that we hadn’t thought of. On the day of the reception, he made any little glitch or mishap seem like it was nothing and took care of it before I could even start to worry. Family and friends have not stopped raving about the amount of food and how GOOD it was. They also complimented us on the service by the staff. They are extremely attentive! I should also mention that the open bar did not disappoint. Everything you wanted, they had it. We did the Viennese as well which was so delicious and so worth it. Our bridal attendant Emma was also very attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. Maitre’d Leo made sure things were going smoothly the entire night. We are so happy we selected Il Villaggio for our wedding. The moment we met the general manager Patrick we knew it was the venue for us. He was on the same page as us about everything we wanted on our big day. He was honest and helpful throughout the whole planning process. He and his staff went above and beyond for us throughout the entire process and the day. The venue is beautiful, and the food is incredible! My husband and I felt like a queen and king the whole day. The value is out of this world. When you compare what you get with this venue and others like it in the north jersey area, the price difference is outrageous. My now husband and I got married at Il Villaggio last Friday 8/3/18. I do not even know where to begin on how fantastic this venue is! We worked with Richard and he was amazing, he always answered any questions we had so quickly and with such professionalism! When it comes to Il Villaggio everything is top notch! The food the staff and the beautiful ballroom! Our guests cannot stop talking about what an amazing time they had and how phenomenal all of the staff (they really go above and beyond) and the delish food is at this venue ! From the first time we visited this venue we knew this was where we wanted to get married. Rich was very attentive and extremely helpful during all stages of the wedding planning process. The food was fantastic and the staff was great throughout the entire event. We literally had nothing go wrong on our wedding day and could not have picked a better venue to hold it in. The lighting in the main entrance was perfect for photos as well as the balcony overlooking the reception hall. Our guests asked if we could renew our vows in 6 months just to have another party.

I would absolutely recommend anyone throwing a party/wedding to have it here, if not for elegant environment, then definitely for the food and staff!

Il Villaggio was absolutely incredible this past weekend for our wedding. Seriously top notch service and the food is absolutely amazing. Patrick and his staff is awesome and really made sure everything at our wedding was perfect! Our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing all the food was and how beautiful Il Villaggio is! We have been to some of the highest rated venues in NJ and they don't even compare to Il Villaggio. They went above and beyond with everything they did. We ended up getting left at Il Villaggio because of mix up with our hotel shuttle and Patrick stepped up and personally took some of our guests back to the hotel in his own car. I don't know any other venue that would do that for you. If you want a truly amazing wedding, you better book with Il Villaggio!

My now husband keeps saying the phrase “We fell in love with the people first, then the place.” Il Villaggio has some of the most caring and warm hearted people working there. Patrick and Richard were just amazing people to know and worked hard with us to make our wedding go smoothly. My husband and I didn’t have a wedding coordinator and were more than happy to help us navigate through our planning. In addition, Patrick doubled as our officiant and our guests just loved his spin on the ceremony. My maitre d’ Leo and bridal attendant Wendy were very tentative, accommodating and would make changes to the schedule as the wedding was happening without hesitation. Also, the owner of the venue (I am terribly sorry, I cannot remember his name right now) radiates warmth with his smile and kind voice. These people are amazing.

As for the place, this was one of the nicest, most elegant, and just simply amazing places I’ve ever been to. Great food, amazingly high ceilings, spacious ballrooms and main gathering space. Even the lighting setup in the main ballroom just blew my guests away. In addition, the food was phenomenal. There was so much of it and everything was incredibly delicious. Also, and I found this out at the end when I went to gather my belongings the next day, this venue donates centerpieces that are not collected to the nearby nursing home. Too many feels hit my heart. I can’t say enough great things about this place. Thank you so much for making my wedding special and giving my guests the time of their lives.

Excellent venue! We were so happy to have our wedding here.. not only is it absolutely beautiful but it has an amazing staff and food that is out of this world! A little late on a review, but that just goes to show that it meant so much I haven't forgotten! My husband and I got married in June of 2017. We booked our venue in January of 2016, we shopped 20 different venues but the second we walked into this one- it was different. White glove service from the second you walk in just to shop the venue. Patrick was our go to for everything. He worked with us on all of our needs (especially our food allergies). Our entire engagement we were in constant contact. Anytime I had a question, and emailed Patrick- he answered it in just minutes. The customer service was outstanding. The day of our wedding was perfect, and we owe the party all to Il Villaggio. The room is perfect, tall ceilings, an amazing lighting package (highly recommend), and the food! The food was incredible, every guest of ours still raves about the bar service, the cocktail hour, dinner and venetian hour. Every waiter made sure every drink was always full, every guest was attended to. Ralph and Patrick- thank you so much for everything along the way. You could not have done better!

It has almost been a year since our wedding reception at Il Villaggio & me, my husband, & our guests still can’t stop talking about how amazing that night was. From the service to the food to the overall ambiance & vibe, every minute & detail was expertly orchestrated with the help of all the members of the staff. I came across Il Villaggio randomly when I was searching for wedding venues. I saw all the glowing reviews about the food, service & a gentleman named Patrick so we decided to schedule an appt to check out the venue & see what the fuss was about.
Thank goodness for honest reviews. We were blown away by the level of service that Patrick provided during the wedding planning process. He was incredibly responsive to all of our questions & needs. We had a couple budget constraints, but he was very accommodating & understanding. The best part was that we never felt pressured to go with Il Villaggio. He even gave us pointers during our search & told us that “When you find the right venue, you’ll know.” After that meeting, we knew that Il Villaggio was the one for us & we’re so glad we made that decision.
In the days leading up to the reception, we were a bit nervous about all the coordinating, but Patrick put us at ease & made sure all the vendors & decorations were collected & in place. Come the day of the reception, Patrick greeted us & assured us that everything will be taken care of & to enjoy the night. Elona, our wedding assistant & Alex, the maitre d’ were the MVPs - they took care of us from beginning to end & we cannot thank them enough for all the support they provided.
Lastly, the food was absolutely incredible! We still dream about the tortellini & stuffed chicken! Our guests still rave about the copious amounts of delicious food served during cocktail hour & dinner. Patrick and the staff at Il Villagio made my son Anthony and daughter in law Krista have their dream wedding! Everything was perfect from pre cocktail to Viennese hour. We cannot say enough amazing things about Il Villaggio! From the moment I first looked at the venue to picking up any items left behind after our wedding, Patrick, Leo and the staff were amazing! They were attentive and ridiculously helpful!
Every question that I had, Patrick was more than ready to answer. Whether it was by email, phone call or in person. On the day of our wedding, Patrick was there from the moment we arrived to after we left making sure everything ran smoothly!
I had a bridal attendant assigned to me and I couldn’t have been happier with her and her services! While my bridesmaids were running around going crazy, I was lucky enough to have an attendant there for my every need! From helping me with my wardrobe issues to my drinks being filled or food cravings, she was on it!
Leo the maître d’ was also extremely helpful as were the bartenders and wait staff! Everyone was super helpful and eager to make sure we were taken care of! When we, the bride and groom, felt too hot, they turned the air on and made sure that we were more comfortable!
The food was amazing! Well, at least every single guest had raved about it! We didn’t eat during reception. However, they made sure to make up leftover containers with servings from every single station that we had set up and as we ate some of it in our hotel room, cold, we couldn’t believe how unbelievably awesome the food was! It was jam packed with flavor! The ribs were cooked perfectly and the meat was falling off of the bones! Everything was amazing!
It was the perfect day for us! We had an amazing time at our wedding and it wouldn’t have been possible if it weren’t for the amazing and beautiful rooms, the staff and awesome food! I knew from the moment I walked into Il Villagio that it was the venue that I wanted to hold my wedding at. My husband and I worked with Richard and from day one he made the entire process of planning my wedding effortless. He was amazing to work with. The staff was amazing and they were truly on their A-game making my wedding day stressless. Wendy and Leo were amazing making sure I had everything I needed at that moment. If you want quality food, this is the place. There was not one dish that was presented that was not delicious. Everyone gave me amazing compliments on how great my cocktail hour and main dishes were, although I didn’t have anything to do with the taste of the food. Honestly, Il Villagio will make your wedding day fantastic and memorable and the best yet, stress free. They make you feel like you are their only priority. You will not be disappointed. I will not miss planning my wedding but I will truly miss working with Richard and the staff at Il Villagio, because of them it was one aspect of my wedding I did not have to worry about. I can't even say enough great things about Il Villaggio. The minute I stepped foot in the Il Villaggio, this was where our wedding should be. We started the planning process with Patrick about a year and a half prior to our wedding. He is THE BEST. He was so down to earth when we booked and made us feel so comfortable. I can't say the same for any of the other places we looked at. Patrick was always so quick to respond to my emails and never made me feel like i was annoying him (although, there was a good chance I was!). We got married 7/7/17 and the day was amazing. People always say prepare yourself for things to go wrong because they will, well ours.. nothing did. Well, if it did, I had no idea!
Our guests are still talking about the food, there was so much and it was beyond amazing. I can't even thank Patrick and his crew enough for everything. One of my guests stepped on my dress and the whole back tore! My bridal attendant literally sewed up my dress and took care of it in a few minutes before i had a breakdown!! Everything was seamless and I just have to thank you all again for making our day so perfect. It was everything i imagined it to be and more!

My husband and I first met Patrick and Alex at a bridal expo and we both knew right away that Il Villaggio was was a location we wanted to look at. As soon as we came in and saw the hall, we knew it was the one. Patrick was amazing to work with and very accommodating. I'm originally from NJ but now live in CT so all our of meetings had to be held on the weekends. The day of the wedding, I was excited to see Alex as our maitre d’ and Elona was my bridal attendant. From the moment we arrived to the moment the night ended, Alex and Elona were right by our side in case we needed anything. I had a little bit of issue with the bustle in my dress, but Elona was right there to solve the issue.
I can truly say that I had my dream wedding thanks to the staff at Il Villaggio. The cocktail hour was incredible. The food was the most delicious food I've ever had and the Ice Sculpture was beautiful. Then we went onto the reception and the room was spectacular. Patrick Lopez and his staff were absolutely amazing. I was more than pleased with the quality of service that was provided to our family and friends. My fiance and I had a great experience working with Patrick to execute our plans for our wedding day celebration. Patrick was very easy to communicate, patient, with and flexible whenever we needed to make changes. The venue itself is gorgeous and the food was fantastic. My guests really enjoyed cocktail hour. My maitre'd, Leo and Bridal Attendant Enma were extremely helpful on the day of the wedding. Enma was so patient and helped me fix my bustle (which was a complicated one) multiple times. We found this place by accident last Feb 2016 when we booked a valentines day dinner. We looked around and found out that they have a wedding venue, we went to talk to the Manager which is Patrick, we told him what we envision our wedding to be. Patrick provided us with options and what are entail with the wedding.

Our wedding came last October 30, 2016 and Patrick and his staff provided us with quality service that was above and beyond our expectation. The service was awesome. The food was great! None of our guests complaint of the lack of food as they were abundance. The cocktail hour was wonderful. We were so happy and our guests was so happy. Not only was the food out of this world ( cocktail, main course, Viennese dessert ) but where I was impressed was the attention to detail and the attention given to the myself and my wife by our own butler service. I also want to thank Patrick our coordinator who went above and beyond from the first day we went to check the venue to the day of and even the next day after the reception. First, it was really easy to get to. Next, everyone raved and praised the food there. The place was absolutely gorgeous. The lighting system was incredible. But most of all, it was the general manager, Patrick. I wanted to work with someone who I could trust with my wedding. As theater people, my husband and I know how to produce shows and performances. If something went wrong, I needed someone who could fix it without anyone realizing it. I needed someone calm, collected and in control. Patrick was that guy. And we did not regret this choice. Patrick was an absolute joy to work with throughout the entire planning process. He catered to my requests at all times; he was so easy to talk to; it was incredibly easy to get a hold of him, and he was just so wonderful and down to earth. The day of the wedding was the real test. Il Villaggio, Patrick and the staff passed with flying colors and went above and beyond. My day could not have gone more perfect. Everything was incredible! We had Alex as our maitre d and Enma as my bridal attendant. Those two were absolutely wonderful. Alex always keep me informed and made everything run so smoothly. He catered to my every wish and command, and so did Enma. They made me feel like a princess. The food was fantastic; everyone enjoyed it all. The lighting was superb. It was literally the best day of my life, and it wouldn't have been like that if we were anywhere else, but Il Villaggio. I firmly believe that. Go check the place out, meet Patrick and see for yourself. It'll be the best decision you'll ever make when it comes to your wedding.

Everything was top notch from the food, service, and execution. Patrick, Richard, Alex, Enma and the rest of the team was awesome and accommodating. We continue to get compliments and many of our guests said it was the best wedding ever!

The price
Patrick was a delight to work with. He sat down with us and built us a reasonably priced package with exactly what we needed.

The setup and decor
The hall has a restaurant attached which has no impact on the wedding night. They hold only 1 wedding a night which is nice (you don't run into random people). The cocktail room is beautiful. The main room is gorgeous with its high ceilings and elegant chandeliers (capable of nice lighting effects).

The staff
Patrick and his staff were extremely accommodating. Patrick was kind enough to allow us to do our own center piece and decorations (stage) the night before and morning of. His staff was very helpful with helping us set up the day of and we heard compliments from all of our guests on how attentive, prompt, and kind they were during the event.

The food
The food was the best part. From our cocktail our to our dinner and vianese our guests were all very happy with the food and presentation. During cocktail hour we had carving stations, pastas, lamb chops - (Mediterranean station) it was all very tasty. For the dinner they also were able to accommodate us with a special middle eastern rice to accompany the meat dish. Patrick was kind enough to bring in some desserts he didn't generally have and allow us to bring a few items. All in all very pleased with the overall experience.

Hands down the best wedding venue in North Jersey. From day one Patrick made sure that we were going to have the wedding of our dreams. Our wedding exceeded every expectation I had of it. The night of the wedding, Patrick and his team treated us like royalty. Alex and Elona were the best. Always making sure we had drinks in our hands and were happy! Elona went above and beyond, helping with my dress and bustle. Cocktail hour, dinner, and the desert room were beyond amazing. Although it was only 2 months ago, our friends and family are still raving about how amazing it was (and I think they will be doing that for a really long time)!

They were on point with everything and always right there ready and willing to help with every single detail. You all were able to make our vision and our dream wedding a reality, and for that we are eternally grateful. The evening was absolutely magical, enchanting, and by far the best night of our lives! On our wedding day, Patrick introduced us to Alex, our maitre d’ and Elona, the bridal attendant. Alex and Patrick made sure everything ran smoothly. Elona was amazing! She was always there to help with the dress and shoes; she made sure my husband and I ate and always had a beverage; and she even suggested the best areas around the venue for pictures, which we were very grateful for. And the Viennese hour…our guests just could not get over how many different options they had for dessert! Rich worked diligently with me and my family as we planned the big day for a year and a half. He worked with my father with pricing and kept it more than fair when we didn't quite meet our minimum at the last minute. Alex and Illona were superb on the wedding day. We had an issue with our limo driver demanding more money after he dropped us off and Alex and co were great- they handled the situation for my husband and I and sorted it all out for us so we didn't need to be bothered with his rude behavior. Illona was so caring and helpful during the night, especially when I unfortunately suffered an hour of heat stroke (it was 90 degrees that day!). The food was positively incredible and people are STILL talking about it 4 months later! Not to mention the venue is extremely beautiful- the chandeliers were my favorite! My family, husband, and I were so impressed (and still are) with this venue and I couldn't be happier. We plan to celebrate every anniversary eating here. I wish I could say more but I'd go on all day! :)

We booked Il Villaggio almost 2 years in advance after visiting a few other wedding venues. Our initial meeting was with Richard. He gave us a tour of all the rooms and we were just blown away. Their ballroom with the gorgeous chandeliers, high ceiling, and up-lighting left us speechless. We looked at each other thinking that Il Villaggio must definitely be more expensive than other places we visited but after sitting down with Richard and reviewing the menu and inclusive options we knew we were getting THE BEST value.
Richard is amazing! He was always available and accommodating throughout the planning process. One month before the big day we were invited for a food tasting and could bring 4 guests. All of the food options were phenomenal and it definitely helped plan our menu.
On our wedding day the venue was breathtaking. When we arrived we were greeted by Richard who introduced us to Alex, our maitre d' and Elona, the bridal attendant. They treated us like royalty. Alex made sure everything went smoothly and was incredibly easy to get along with. Elona was a lifesaver, always there to help with the dress and bouquet, keep us fed, and she even suggested the best areas around the venue for pictures.
The cocktail hour was EPIC! Dinner was on another level. Our guests were blown away by the entire reception and are still talking about the quality and variety of food, especially the Viennese hour. Someone even commented that our wedding was the one to be at...and we know that Il Villaggio had a lot to do with it.
We would like to thank Richard, Alex, Elona and the rest of the Il Villaggio team for greatly exceeding our expectations and making our dream wedding reception reality. You are truly the best at what you do! We can't wait to return for our anniversary dinner!

The most amazing in the whole world!!!! I CAN NOT say a bad thing about this place and neither can any of my guests! The staff is wonderful, they make you feel like royalty! So easy to work with, I didn't have to worry about a thing! I worked with Patrick, and he made everything so easy, I trusted him with everything and didn't doubt him for a second! The staff will feel like family by the end of the wedding. Our guests just kept running up to us during the wedding to tell us how good the food was! I hope to convey as many of the positives of my experience choosing Il Villaggio as my wedding venue as possible to future brides. We met with Patrick, and he was the most professional and knowledgeable of any banquet manager we had met. I knew from first meeting Patrick he wasn’t the type to sugar coat information; likewise, he didn’t put you in a position where you felt you had to throw money left and right to have the perfect day. Whenever we stopped at Il Villaggio, he would ask how everything was going with the vendors and what we were currently doing with them.
The morning of our wedding, Patrick was there early to let me and the girls into the bridal suite to do our hair and makeup. He was quietly there to help as needed in the morning and introduced us to Alex and Agnes who would also make the show happen. Once the reception started, the whole team let us know they were connected and able to help us at the drop of a hat. We really felt like celebrities.
Once we were introduced, we made our way to greet our guests, and were occasionally stopped to be chatted with. But without being intrusive, Alex would let us know what was coming next, what we might like to do, and when we had some down time to eat for a few minutes and actually enjoy a few bites of our meals! It made the evening way less stressful.
The best part was getting pulled aside to have a peak at the Viennese table before they opened it to guests. We had told Patrick we both love pumpkin and he surprised us with pumpkin tarts and pumpkin shooters at the Viennese hour. I was really blown away by the extra thought. It is the difference from doing your job and going above and beyond the couples expectations.
The amount of compliments, and more so the degree of praise I received from family members further assured me I had a fabulous wedding. Get the lighting package, add the Viennese Table. I’m so happy we did. Thanks Patrick & Il VIllaggio!

We had our Wedding at il Villaggio's a few days ago. I could write pages on how great the experience but I will summarize. On my first call in the owner Ralph answered and explained how they conduct weddings I can be very picky but I immediately knew this was where we would get married. The pricing is very but more importantly easier to understand. Other venues I called have several tiers they offer with tons of nickel and dime fees they add on. Villaggio's offers world class food and premium liquor at a very fair price. No up charges for additional services, they even include a cake. Richard handled our event and made us comfortable through the whole planning process. During the Event Richard, Alex (Maitre'd), and Alona (Bridal Attendant) made the process seamless. Patrick did an excellent job as our officiant. They accommodated last minute changes, fulfilled every request and we always available for us. We enjoyed amazing food, friendly and efficient wait staff and the service was flawless. No other venue can compare to il Villagio's. Thank You Ralph, Richard, Alex, Alona and Patrick for making our absolutely outstanding. Every guest said this was the best Wedding they had ever attended.

I had the pleasure of working with Patrick. He was amazing and very accommodating. The staff was also phenomenal. Olivita was my bridal attendant and I couldn't ask for any one better than her. She was so great, anything I needed she was right there to assist me. Also Alex who was the matradee was also great and was right there anytime we needed something. Il Villaggio is a great venue filled with wonderful staff and if I have any other events I will be going there. I highly recommend il Villaggio for any occasion you may have. They were so wonderful

Where can I even start with Il Villaggio? They were an absolute dream from beginning to end. Meeting with Patrick to set everything up was a breeze, he was flexible, accommodating and a great person all around. He made planning our wedding there not only easy, but enjoyable. Everything we were expecting the day to be was far exceeded thanks to Patrick and his team. They set up the place exactly as we had asked, and even exceeded our expectations. We had a bridal attendant, Oliviette, who I swear was a ninja. Every time you needed her she was ten steps ahead of you already working on it. From helping with the bustle of my dress to covering my dress with napkins while she made sure I ate, to even making sure my hair and dress were perfect whenever we were taking pictures. She was really there whenever you needed her. I can't thank her enough, I didn't have to think about anything I needed as she was always one step ahead of me! Next, the Maitre d was ON TOP of everything. He keep the party running smoothly and went above and beyond any expectations. At one point my niece was being fussy and needed a nap and a bottle. He brought my brother up to the suite, brought them milk for the baby and their entrees up there for them to eat. They really care about everyone having a great time and being as comfortable as possible. Lastly, the food, drinks, and venue itself.... two months later everyone is still talking about it!! The food is INCREDIBLE. From the cocktail hour to the main course and the Viennese hour everything was absolutely delicious!! The quality and the presentation of the food is truly impressive. Thanks to Il Villaggio, I actually felt like I enjoyed my day and lived in the moment. They thought of everything and took all the stress off my groom and I. They even set up a sweetheart table in the Viennese room to make sure we didn't get caught up and experiences all the desserts! I can't recommend this place enough! You will have the day of your dreams!

If I could give Il Villaggio more than 5 stars I would! My husband and I are so happy that we decided to take a friend’s recommendation and visit Il Villaggio. From the first minute to the last Patrick was absolutely amazing and helped to make it the best day ever! Not only was he accommodating with changes we had along the way, but Patrick went above and beyond to make us feel less like clients and more like family. One month later and our friends and family still can’t say enough about the food! It was so good and there was so much! The ballroom was absolutely beautiful the night of the wedding, and the staff was spot on! Patrick runs a tight ship and there was not one detail missed. We were nothing but impressed.

Patrick and his staff are the epitome of excellence when it comes to planning and executing a perfect wedding. I don't usually use hyperbole but I honestly did not have to lift a finger throughout the whole process and the day of was the BEST: unlike what I expected, we (the newlyweds) actually were able to sit down and enjoy the food and ambience with little interruptions. The staff and attendants worked like clockwork to make sure everything went as planned, to make sure we weren't bothered AND to make sure our drinks and food kept coming. Every single guest was enamored by the service and quality at Il Villaggio. This place is number one, dollar for dollar.

The team at Il Villaggio is absolutely amazing at what they do. Everything was set beautifully per our selections and the staff was courteous and efficient; they had a level of professionalism that went beyond what we hoped for. Patrick was a huge part of the reason we chose Il Villaggio. He made us feel at ease and made us feel he truly cared about every detail of our wedding as much as we did. On the big day, everything went so smoothly! The maire d and bridal assistant were on point. The bridal assistant in particular was quite amazing, servicing the entire bridal suite without ever losing her smile. The food was amazing and the service was even better. Would highly recommend.

Where do we start? From the beginning when we first started looking at halls (and I mean a lot of halls) in November of 2014, il Villaggio was first class and completely professional all the way. Patrick and his staff worked hand and hand with my now wife and I with ever detail of the wedding.

Five days before the wedding we ran into a problem with a photobooth company and Patrick immediately called up a photobooth company that he had dealt with before and set everything up for us within minutes. It was very nerve racking to have a problem like that just days before the wedding but Patrick eased our stress quickly.

The day of our wedding couldn't have gone better for us! Between the service and the food it was incredible. Our guests are still raving about the food and how quick it was to get a drink. The bridal attendant and Maitre D' along with Patrick were there any time we needed them. They weren't in the way and anytime I lost my drink when I left to go on the dance floor they were right there to get me a new one. The food was unbelievable. Between the different varieties and the taste it really was first class. Top shelf liquor was a big hit with plenty of our guests. The coordination between our DJ and the staff was seamless. We added an extra hour with the Venetian hour and although I don't eat the sweets my wife and guests couldn't stop raving about it. They also made us an ice sculpture with billiard balls and pool sticks as we're both big pool players.

Patrick and his staff literally made our big day the best day of our lives. Everything was perfect and we couldn't have picked a better hall and staff.

After visiting so many venues in NJ my husband and I booked an appointment with Richard at Il Villaggio. Upon arrival we were greater and asked if we would like something to drink. Richard was extremely knowledgeable and once he showed us the ballroom I knew that would be the venue for our wedding. Richard made everything easy for us, they literally took care of everything. On June 7th 2015 the day of our wedding everything was just perfect ,amazing and flawless. The bridal attended and the maitre d including Richard were simply AMAZING!!!
The food was over the top, we had a pre cocktail hour for guest whom arrived earlier and than an actual cocktail hour. Everyone until this day still talks about our wedding and how amazing Il Villaggio is , and actually my friend has booked il Villaggio for her wedding.
We returned on June7th 2016 for our one year anniversary dinner and once again their service was outstanding they made us feel like it was our wedding all over again.
I can't thank Richard and his team enough for what they did for us. Everything was perfect and over the top service.

They are wonderful! We could have not picked a better venue for our wedding reception! The staff is amazing! Not only on the floor, but in the kitchen. They have an amazing chef with some out of this world dishes. The staff went over and beyond to make our day perfect. A great bunch of people to work with, always warm and welcoming. Patrick and the staff at Il Villaggio i must say you guys went above and beyond my expectations! You , elona and my matrede were incredible! The food is incredible! I think we had guests rolling out of there LOL. Il Villaggio created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding on Thursday 3/31/16 . There are not enough nice things to say about this place. We were blown away by how Patric & his staff were able to transform our dream into reality. Everything from the ballroom, to the cocktail hour rooms, to the amazing ice sculpture! The lighting really made that room shine even more!!
In addition to the beauty of the venue, the staff is just amazing. From day one, Patrick was professional, friendly, and organized. We never had to worry about anything going into our wedding. You can tell that he knows the business very well and offered great suggestions. Myself being a wedding planner, i'm sure i came off extremely OCD lol but Patrick and the staff made everything look picture perfect even with my million details. If you want to have the most amazing wedding, book at Il Villaggio. I am not sure where to begin, is it the delicious and enormous array of food they display throughout the evening... is the ballroom with built in lighting, sky high ceilings and large crystal chandeliers.. or the service that we received throughout our entire wedding process PLUS the night of the wedding. Our guests are still in awe of the amazing night they had celebrating and they were for sure impressed (as were myself and my husband). Their whole staff even greeted us and our bridal party out front when we arrived for the reception, escorting everyone to the bridal suite while handing them a drink. Richard was who we worked with and helped us every step of the way. You can tell how passionate the staff is about their jobs and how they want to make sure you are taken care of. We felt relaxed the entitre evening and they really made our dreams came true. We loved our beautiful wedding and Il Villaggio made it so special and unique. Who can say they had someone making fresh mozzarella at cocktail hour for their guests? Or cotton candy, waffles & ice cream, fried oreos, spiked milkshakes, etc at dessert? As my husband and I are back from our honeymoon and look at photos and videos from our wedding i can't help but continue to rave about how amazing our wedding was. I remember the first time we drove up to the Il Villaggio and Ralph ( the owner) was up on a ladder in the parking lot changing light bulbs- what was when we knew this place was different. The owner Ralph took pride in this establishment and such a pride that we gained such a high level of respect for him. When we first met with Patrick the comfort you felt is not even explainable- after numerous meetings and feeling like we were being "sold" on everything Patrick just made us feel like he genuinely cared about what we wanted and that he WANTED to provide us with our dream wedding. After seeing the rooms we loved how intimate and elegant they were we knew that this was where we would have our wedding. Leading up to the wedding Patrick's patience with us was so indescribable- again we felt such a level of comfort that he had us taken care of and didn't have to worry about a thing. The night of the wedding we were greater by my Bridal Attendant Agnes, Our Matre'd Alex, Patrick, Ralph (the owner) and Rich. Everything this team did was above and beyond to make sure we got everything we wanted. I even mentioned Alex that one of the attendees had brought an additional guest and he immediately added a place setting and made sure that the individual with the guest knew it was OK. Agnes was beyond what i could have ever asked for- she was at my side the entire night to make sure i was happy- she even sat Joe and I in the Bridal suite and brought us all of the food ( thank god because the FOOD is to DIE FOR) so we could enjoy as husband and wife. The entire team was there to do anything we needed to make sure it was the most special day of our lives and it was. Words can't begin to describe what a wonderful experience it was working with Richard at Il Villaggio.. Our wedding took place just a few days ago and I couldn't wait to write a review. Richard was just a pleasure to work with. What ever your vision is for your big day Richard and his team at Il Villaggio make it happen. I did my fair share of shopping around and believe me no other venue compares to Il Villaggio in service, quality, value, and price. The food is AMAZING! And I have to say my bridal attendant Olivette was wonderful. She was by my side the whole evening making sure all my needs were met. She became one of our family members. I had my wedding at Il Villaggio on December 20, 2015 and I must say I Love Them. The staff was great and the food was great. All my guests were highly satisfied. They even gave me my own personal bride attendant without me even asking. She was fantastic and always around. Our maître d Alex was dealing with me and my Bridezilla self so calmly and easily, especially when I made them move all the tables like 5 times. Last but not least it was all thanks to Patrick for making it all happen. They made our wedding night as perfect as can be. I will definitely come back for dinner.
