Fantastic!

Amazing DJ! We had originally decided against having a DJ, but I am so glad we changed our minds and found Chris. He was such a tremendous help with not only our music (he provides a very detailed document to fill out to make sure everything is just right) but many details of our wedding. From timeline, to ceremony scripts, to rehearsal checklists, Chris has you covered. He was always available for us to reach out to and ask questions. Day of the wedding he was absolutely amazing running around making sure more than just the music was going right (he even ran a water bottle out into the middle of a field for me while getting my photos done). If you want a DJ that is truly in your corner to make sure your wedding day is perfect, Chris is your guy!

Best DJ experience we've ever had

Dj Chris was absolutely phenomenal. We got in touch with him late in the wedding planning process and was able to step right in and also help us with so much more than just the music and entertainment. He helped with our time line and schedule and organizing the entire event. He was beyond flexible. He kept in constant contact with me and my bride to be. He always made sure that at the end of the day we were happy and asked what he could do to make sure we happy. He was also very helpful in keeping our eyes on the prize. He reminded us that no matter how our day went that at the end of the day we would be married to the love of our lives. He is not just an amazing DJ but an amazing man all around. We will definitely be working with him again. Thanks for everything Chris. We love you brother!!

A 5 star rating could never be enough to represent his above and beyond work ethic and personality!

Chris was the upmost professional and amazing DJ we could have asked for! He not only drove across the state to still provide services for us on our wedding due to a last minute cancellation of our original wedding note being able to workout due to unforeseen circumstances, he readily made himself available to us within less than a month's notice to help give us our wedding. He was more than your average DJ by providing us with day of coordinator services at a last minute notice which SAVED our wedding! He even helped decorate our wedding the day of because there were hiccups happening, this man is incredible!!! He is a genuine and kindhearted human, which we just so happened to have encountered and had the great pleasure of working with. Thank you Chris for helping us with everything and going above and beyond for my husband and I on this special day!

Devoted, supportive, enthusiastic, & unbelievably kind.

Chris is truly the best option for a DJ if you live in Greenville, SC! He was unbelievably helpful & kind throughout the whole process. He did so much more than just MC & DJ as well. He made sure my husband & I got our food, ran every song request by me (per my request), & truly so much more. I am sure that Chris did more behind the scenes to help the day run smoothly. Our wedding was perfect & a large part of that is due to Chris. I would recommend him to anyone!

The best decision we made!

We hired Chris for our wedding last weekend. He did an amazing job as DJ and completed many coordination tasks as I did not have a coordinator. Everyone at the wedding saw him go above and beyond for us and our families. He executed what we wanted with the dance floor and showed flexibility with rain schedule changes. He was by far the best vendor to work with, was the most attentive to what we needed and helped the most during our planning process. Having someone who responded in a timely manner to questions and concerns makes a world of a difference when the wedding planning stress hits!

Amazing DJ!!!

Chris did an amazing job as the DJ for our February wedding! He was incredibly detailed throughout the whole process, was easy to talk to and timely in his communication. Chris was always available for questions and worked hard to help us figure out what we wanted (and didn't want) for our reception. His experience and knowledge made him super easy to work with. Chris made a detailed timeline of all the announcements/ music and had us make a list of our favorite songs to play during cocktail hour/ at the reception. I had MANY compliments from friends and family about Chris keeping the dance floor lively the whole night! Additionally, other vendors we had positively reviewed Chris as well and said he was helpful with setting up at the reception. We found Ideal Entertainment to be reasonably priced and well worth the investment! Would give more than 5 stars if possible!!

Absolutely amazing!!!

Having Chris DJ our wedding was the best decision we made! Our guest absolutely loved him and had an amazing time on the dance floor and In the photo booth. Chris truly took the time prior to the wedding to really sit down and talk through what we were wanting and provided a lot of ideas not only with music but layout, time line and coordination aspects. We could tell he truly cared about us and cared about making our day special, which we loved about him!!! He was very professional, constantly communicated with us and was very caring!

Absolutely amazing! We could have never dreamed for more

This guy goes above and beyond! We had a very last minute cancellation from our dj. We were given Chris’s number and within 5 mins of a call he was running to action! He came in and saved the day. And when I say saved the day that’s an understatement! Very professional, great personality and ability to keep everything moving. He met every single want and need we had. Our reception was beautiful, fun and ran smooth as anything possibly could. No one there could believe that he had not been preparing for days nevertheless an hour or so. I highly recommend ideal entertainment and will definitely use him any time I get a chance!!

Amazing dj & great person

Having Chris as our wedding DJ gave me so much reassurance and lessened my wedding day stress. He is organized and had the whole reception schedule planned out. He already had a decent list of song for each portion of the reception. We had several zoom calls with him since we were about 10 hours away and we felt fully confident in him. The day of the wedding he arrived early and went above and beyond his duties. The music was great and our guests loved his entertainment ideas! Best wedding DJ I have ever seen and beyond that he is a pleasant and reliable person! 10 STARS!

Where to start! Chris and Tara are nothing short of exceptional! They both are good hearted and down to earth couple. They both have a deep passion for their entertainment business. Tara did an amazing job as an officiant for our wedding. It was so heart-filled and genuine, it was perfect. Chris has a talent for music and ceiling drapery! Our guest raved about both the ceremony and reception. Chris had the guests dancing all night and everyone had a memorable night! Thank you both from the bottom of our hearts! Chris was phenomenal! I was a disorganized bride despite my best attempts and Chris was able to help me with picking songs for each section of the wedding. He kept our guests laughing and dancing all night long! He was kind and ALWAYS available. 10/10 would reccomend!

He was very responsive to messages and questions, always kept me informed, he helped out with other vendors to make sure everything went smoothly. The biggest vendor that blew us away on our wedding day was by far our wedding DJ. Chris Bower from Memories in Motion exemplified handwork, creativity and thoughtfulness. With every meeting we had, he was well informed, prepared and showed us that he truly cared for us and our wedding on a very personable level. He offered several times to help us with whatever we needed, even if it wasn't music related, and was fun, easy-going and pleasant to be around throughout the entire wedding reception. We were truly amazed to see how much care he puts into his work.

Best wedding team! We had up lighting, dj, photo booth center pieces, and everything was perfect! Our caterer goofed and lost the stuff that was to go on our tables but Chris called our photographer while we were taking pictures to get the info on the stuff that was missing and handled it with one of my bridesmaids! Life savers! We were so happy words cannot express!

Chris did the uplighting and was the DJ/MC at my wedding, he was phenomenal! First, he helped keep me sane during the months up to my wedding and made sure I knew that if I needed anything he would be happy to help. I got so many compliments on the uplighting at my wedding and everyone loved Chris. I've been to a few weddings and Chris is definitely the best I've seen. I would highly recommend him!!! We booked Chris for our DJ, uplighting, linen rental, chair covers, photography, and his wife Tara as our coordinator. They really are a "one stop shop" for all of your wedding needs at an excellent price. They were the first vendor we booked, over a year in advance. Chris and Tara stayed in touch with us monthly up until the big day and were very responsive with emails. They truly have a passion for this work and love what they do which you can tell immediately! We still receive compliments from our families a to how wonderful job they did. I could not be more happier with them as they were the reason our big day went so smooth and was perfect :) Thank you!!!!

Chris and Tara were a pleasure to work with from the start. I could tell that they genuinely cared about our wedding just as much as my husband and I! My husband and I were so pleased with out decision to use Memories in Motion. Chris did a great job of making our reception fun and keeping our guests entertained, without being over the top. Memories in Motion was by far our favorite vendor of our wedding! Chris and his wife were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect :) Chris was an incredibly entertaining DJ and worked with our coordinator at our venue to make sure everything happened on time and correctly! :) The Photobooth was a hit and we had a lot of fun going through all of the pictures after we got back from our honeymoon. I am very late to writing a review but I can not say enough about how much Chris helped me through my wedding day at the Bilmar. He was always available when I needed someone to ask about wedding related things and he always had the answer. My wedding day would not have been nearly as perfect if it weren't for him having worked as hard as he does. If you are looking for a run of the mill DJ that will play good music do not book, Chris and team are reserved only for people looking for the most personalized wedding day experience imaginable. Being that I am extremely picky about my hip/hop I was hesitant on every DJ I looked up. I was referred to Memories in Motion and couldn't have been happier. Aside from Chris being a super nice guy, he was on point with his music selection to keep the shy families on the dance floor, great on the mic with introductions, very cost friendly, and was into every song that was being played. We mixed a surprise first dance and he had perfect timing on jumping on the mic (makes video so much better). Fast email responses, and a life saver on planning the timeline of the day. Def recommend to anyone.

From the get go, Chris was professional, nice and responsive. We booked him very early, but he stayed in touch throughout all the months leading up to our wedding. On our wedding day, he arrived early and gave himself plenty of time to set up. He played great tunes and was a good acting emcee!

Chris and Tara were so awesome to work with from day one!! I felt very comfortable leaving the night in Tara's hands! We rented chairs covers and chair sashes and they went above and beyond trying to make sure the colors matched as close as possible, the uplighting looked great! Tara was my listening ear when I was starting to feel stressed and assured me she would make sure everything went as smoothly as possible...and it did :) I can't thank these two enough!

Chris and Tara are wonderful, amazing, caring and creative people. We hired them for DJ, videography, found a photographer through them, and Tara was our officiant. They walked us through the entire wedding, from start to finish. Tara calmed me down every time I started freaking out. Chris was an awesome DJ, always keeping the crowd engaged (though it was quite a mixed crowd), and though we haven't seen the photos and the videos yet, I have no doubt that they'll be awesome as well. They recommended some of our other vendors are were able to vouch for others. Going with Memories in Motion is the best choice anyone can make for their wedding.

Choosing Memories in Motion was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Chris and Tara are wonderful to work with, as they were extremely professional and organized. They helped us with our questions and gave us great suggestions that helped make our wedding day even more special. We decided on a couple of must have songs and then left it up to the professional to keep things moving. They were VERY enthusiastic from the beginning and had some great ideas on how to make sure everything went smoothly on our big day.

Chris and Tara are passionate about what they do; repeatedly they went above and beyond. Throughout the planning process, they were able to remove any worries we had about our big day. Most of all they gave us so many wonderful memories to cherish forever.

We would highly recommend Memories in Motion. Chris and Tara were simply amazing and we are truly grateful to them for doing such a tremendous job at our wedding. Thanks so much!

Husband/Wife teams are the best and these guys hit it out of the park. Every tiny little detail was attended to and every part of my wedding was beautiful. I planned my wedding in Treasure Island, Florida, all the way from California, and I had almost weekly phone meetings with MIM to be sure everything was being covered. Chris and his staff were absolutely amazing. I was one of the wedding coordinators and was a contact person on behalf of the bride and groom. Chris and Tara are such a dynamic team to make the wedding of your dreams come true. They put forth all effort to make things as smooth and convenient as possible for us. Chris had us all on our feet dancing all night long. He is a master at his craft. During the ceremony on the beach, he played our selected music, and it went off without a hitch. The photo booth was such a hit. Everyone had a blast! Tara made us feel like we were the only couple on the planet. She was so eloquent and tender with her officiant duties. She did exactly as we had asked of her in the content of the ceremony. It made it so personal for us. The flower bouquets and boutonnieres were spectacular, and Tara's creativity was more than we could have ever imagined. We have only the highest regard for them and highly recommend them.

Chris & his wife truly went above and beyond our expectations! I do not know what I would have done without them. The sound system they use makes you feel as if you are inside a dream during the ceremony!! The dance music & announcements were so awesome! They made everyone feel special! The DJ lighting and DJ station are colorful & professional!!! Honestly, went above & beyond!!! My guests went on & on about how great our wedding & reception were!!! Everything a bride could ask for & more!!!

Wow, words can't even express how much you (Chris and Pixy) have done to make our wedding the most perfect day on November 6th, 2015. Pixy was our DJ, organizer, and Ordain. She kept the wedding on a perfect timeline the whole night and made all of our guests happy with the awesome music and dancing. Memories in Motion was like a "one stop shop" with their lighting, chair covers, sashes, organizing, DJ, Photo Booth, Ordain and more! Chris was actually the first vendor we booked for our wedding, about a year in advance. We wanted to find someone who we were comfortable with who did not cost an arm and a leg. Yes, the entertainment is important, but some of the prices I was quoted from DJs (not a live band) were absurd. Our package also included some pre-ceremony music, the ceremony, and reception, as well as MC'ing. Chris did an amazing job keeping everyone engaged and interested, and worked with us on-the-spot to alter the timeline of our reception as the night progressed. He also had some unique and fun games that had people laughing and joining in on the fun. Chris was helpful in working around our schedule, and was easy to communicate with. We even had a power outage at the venue pre-ceremony which was causing some issues with getting the music hooked up, but Chris took care of it so well, that I never knew there had been a problem until a few weeks later. I would recommend Chris to anyone, not just for a wedding. If we have cause to use a DJ again, he would be my first call!

Chris and his wife "Pixie" of Memories in Motion were both wonderful to work with. We their DJ and Officiant services. Chris, the DJ was absolutely amazing! He was upbeat and extremely helpful, and gave many suggestions when my husband and drew blanks. He kept the party going, and the music was always playing. Our guest still talk about how great our DJ was. Pixie was as sweet as can be, but when the wedding party was not paying attention, she was on the double! (We got married on the coldest, windiest day of the year on the water). She was very helpful with the whole ceremony process, from choosing vows to the sand ceremony she was awesome!

We absolutely adored working with Chris, John, and "Pixie" :) We decided last minute to have an intimate wedding. I contacted Chris on Saturday and told him what we wanted/needed to get married that Thursday. Surprisingly he was just as excited as we were! Chris and his wife provided an excellent service and great value for money. They provided a DJ service and also provided help with serving food and clearing away at the end of the night at a small additional cost.
In preparation for the our wedding Chris contacted me to ensure that he had all the information to make our special day go as smoothly as possible.
Going above and beyond his duties Chris suggested and carried out two party games to entertain myself and my husband and all of our guests.
We would recommend Chris as a DJ, he played all the tracks we requested and is a lovely guy!

We do not have enough room here to express the abundant joy that our wedding video has brought us. Memories in Motion (& family) went over & beyond what we could have ever expected. I have to say that Tara and Chris are both Amazing at what they do. I cant thank them enough for everything. I originally found Chris when I was looking for a videographer. He got all this new camera gear before our wedding so was able to capture so much amazing footage. We had 3 camera guys so he got all different angles so we knew he would capture Everything! We felt like celebrities! Chris is extremely knowledgeable about videography and all his gear. My ceremony & reception were at 2 different locations and Chris even had some of his guys at the hotel where we were getting ready so we also got that footage so ill never forget any of it. Chris and his crew were there the entire day. They were amazing!
I started out planning the wedding by myself not realizing how much there was to do behind the scenes. I was so overwhelmed. Chris told me about Tara and how much she could help. We set up our first meeting and once I met her I knew she would be a lifesaver! Two months before my wedding Tara took over and made my life so much easier. She did everything we discussed and more! Tara made suggestions & was in contact with all my venders and had everyone on the same page. The day of the wedding was surprisingly stress free because I knew she was in control. I cant believe how smoothly everything went and how Amazing everything looked. Tara surprised us with a couple extra special touches. We were truly able to relax actually enjoy the entire day because we knew we were in good hands.
Together Chris and Tara are AMAZING! I will recommend them to anyone I know who is getting married or planning any type of celebration!

First, thank you for meeting with us throughout the year and spending time going through every little detail with us. Every meeting was fun and reassuring!

Although the rain "the day of" made a change of plans for our floor plan, what you had (at the last moment) put together worked probably better than what we had originally planned.

Everything about our wedding was INCREDIBLE! This was because of the two of you.

Thank you for checking on our drinks and making sure we ate! Thank you for making sure everything ran smoothly (we had a lot of "events"....ceremony, walk to the house, planting of the tree, dances, shoe game-which by the way Tara ROCKED at!). Thank you for always keeping calm and keeping others calm when anxiety started kicking in. Thank you for making the decor comfortable and "homey" (since the reception was in our backyard) and thank you for your flower talents!!!! The flowers were stunning!!!!

A special thank you to Chris for being our emcee for the night. I felt like a million bucks being called down our aisle! Chris told a special story about my dad that I was too nervous to tell and it wound up creating a special moment where my dad and I got to whisper and remember past memories.

We could talk all day and all tomorrow about our wedding. Actually, since the wedding weve done nothing BUT talk about how amazing it was.

This is our Enormous Thank You to MIM, for all that they did for us. They only had 2 wks w/ us to make our day everything we ever imagined. Soon after meeting them we chose them as our videographers. Then soon after we knew that we needed Tara as our coordinator, planner, director, decorator, coach, & stress reliever. Chris is a very detailed videographer & down to earth guy w/ a great talent for capturing our memories. Together they make a great team. Tara is a remarkable person w/ a talent to read minds.......ok so it just seems like she does. At any time I needed her, she was readily available. She made me feel like she was one of my best friends that I did not have to ask help from. She jumped in feet first & made whatever I wanted to happen, happen no matter what it took. She took our ideas, visions & decorations & made it all happen just the way we envisioned. She took control of our wedding & worked all kinks to make it all run smoothly. It wouldn't have happened as smoothly as it did w/out her. She was there the entire day of our wedding; I am still in amazement how much she did for us. She stayed & did 95% of the clean up for us, so we could enjoy our evening & sleep in the next day. I wish we could have had more time w/ Tara to plan our wedding, per all of the fun that we had together. She made the experience so incredible for everyone; especially my husband & I. They helped us avoid disaster, when our DJ cancelled on us 2 days before the wedding. They have a network of amazing vendors & in less than 24hrs were able to find an incredible DJ that did an outstanding job. Hiring MIM, was the best decision we made. They are worth every single penny & much, much more. After all is said & done, we have come away w/ 2 great friendships & the most magical, beautiful & whimsical memories of a wedding we could ever ask for. We feel so unbelievably honored & blessed to have met them, let alone to have been able to work w/ them to make our day as perfect as it was.

My husband Kyle and I found Memories in Motion at a bridal show while looking for someone to do our day of coordinating. We were on a very tight budget and needed someone affordable and that would be a good professional. From the moment we met Tara, my maid of honor that was with us said YOU HAVET TO USE HER because her excitement, and bubbly personality were just what we needed! You will not find a coordinator that has more passion and excitement for your event, it is not just another job for Tara, you can tell she really truly loves making your special day even better! We got lots of compliments from our wedding party and family members on what a great job she did. She kept everything in line the day of and kept things running on time and smoothly. She set up the entire ceremony and reception place exactly how I had envisioned it and some parts looked better than even I could have imagined. On the day of while waiting in the bridal room I noticed a few things that I had concerns about so she rushed to my aid and clarified everything, just to keep my bridal nerves down. She did such a great job with the cleanup, my mother-in-law was SO pleased that she got to just enjoy the night and not worry about clean up. I definitely recommend Tara for planning and coordinating, she is an experienced professional that does not try and charge you an arm and a leg like most wedding planners we spoke to.

Tara Bower was our wedding planner. She is affordable and well worth the money spent. She met with me 2 times prior to the BIG day, emailed, texted, advised and she also ran our rehearsal. She spent over 12 hours on the day of the wedding covering chairs, making chair sashes, setting up centerpieces, folding napkins, arranging furniture etc. etc. I do not know what we would have done without her!! I would highly reccommend her services. You need Tara!

"We just watched our wedding video from Memories in Motion Event and Video Services. In the last hour we have gone from tears, to smiles, to bursts of intense laughter. We also hired Memories in Motion to help with coordinating and decorating just three weeks before our big day. They did an an amazing job of pulling everything together in such a short period of time. Our wedding was outdoors and we didn't have any lighting purchased before hand. We also didn't have anyone to decorate the site at all. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we could've possibly needed, and from what I heard they started setting up decorations and lighting very early in the morning. I can't say enough about how much they did for us and I am eternally thankful."

Chris is an awesome DJ! Our wedding was beyond perfect! Using a worksheet of our preferences, Chris was able to put together awesome playlists for the different parts of the ceremony/reception and was able to read the guests (during the reception) for which songs would get them out (and stay) on the dance floor!! Chris did an amazing job at our wedding! We had uplighting, backdrop for the sweetheart table, and a photo booth. And at the last minute I asked him for sashes for our chairs in the reception ballroom and he got them ordered on time and tied and put them on every single chair with the help of his wife. They are a great team. He played everything I gave him for each playlist I had for different parts of the wedding day. I got tons of compliments from the guest that they loved his music, i gave him ideas from smooth soul, R&B, instrumental remixes, pop, 80's, salsa, bachata, you name it! And he ran with it and did great! Kept the crowd entertained as well with some fun games. Highly recommend.

We had the WORST experience with MIM. After reading reviews and speaking with Chris I was confident that we had chosen the best photographer for our wedding, I was wrong!! Initially everything was good. We met with our photographer and he was more than willing to meet at expected times and even stayed later. Unfortunately, the picture quality was extremely poor! My quest with IPhones produced much better photos than that of the photographer. I do not have a photo of our cake or enterance table. Every bridal photo that I have had extreme shadows or people's heads are cut off. I am so disappointed!!! But that's isn't the worst part. 10 weeks after our wedding we had still not heard anything from Chris about our photos and he informs us that he can not find our photographer; he has disappeared with our photos. Initially the situation seems out of his control but as the owner of a company you should have copies of all the work done as a back up and contracts with your employees. Chris informed us that he has no contract with his employees so legally they have no obligation to return any photos back to him. This was increadibly heartbreaking since this was the only memories we had of our special day. After Chris managed to reach the photographer informed us that our photos were not done being edited... What! We were furious! After threatening to get the police involved because he was not holding up his end of the contract we got our photos but were highly disappointed. We have not developed any of them because they are not worthy. I honesty wish we would have saved our $750 and paid a friend who took better photos. Our photos looked nothing like the portfolio that we viewed of their ability. We can never get our day back. I would NEVER recommend MIM. Spend the extra money to hire a true professional photographer or take your own photos.
