We had the best wedding because we had an incredible wedding planner!

We worked with Laura for the entirety of our 1.5 year engagement. Despite choosing a month-of coordination package, she provided unlimited help as we selected our venue and vendors and answered our many questions. It was important for our planner to be Korean and have a network of Korean vendors for our wedding, but I'd still recommend her to non-Korean couples. She was always super quick to respond, easily reachable, patient, and so extremely understanding. Her services are also very reasonable compared to other planners and the amount of support she actually provides. I'd highly recommend to any couple!

No Bother or Gloom for Father of Groom

Iconic Events, LLC, from successful professional experience, has accrued wedding metadata. As the Day of Coordinator, Laura's astute analysis of the wedding metadata and precise application of a solution prevented/eviscerated any technical, governance, operational, collaboration, quality and usage potential problem.

A guest informed the father of the groom of two missing place settings. Before the guest returned to her table the two chairs and settings appeared. Everyone (except the woman) was seated at the table chatting and eating. What problem? From the first notes of the ceremony's entrance song to the last notes of the last dance; the father of groom never looked at his watch. The father went home overjoyed that he danced, made new friends and was woven into his son's happy memories of the Iconic Event.

Laura has been a friend of mine since 2012 and what started off as me seeking for advice turned into me saying, I need Laura ASAP. We recently got married in Baltimore, Maryland, and had the incredible pleasure of having our friend Laura Kim as our wedding planner. She truly went above and beyond in every way. Laura was organized, thoughtful, and completely dialed into our vision from day one.

One of the most unforgettable moments was our ceremony exit—walking through a sea of bubbles surrounded by our loved ones. And the send-off? Absolute magic. Highly recommend!!

We needed a day-of wedding coordinator for our Indian wedding, and Laura was absolutely incredible to work with! She was familiar with our venue and ensured that every detail of our special day was executed flawlessly.

Laura started working with us a couple of months before the wedding and was extremely helpful in setting up vendor meetings and addressing details we hadn’t even thought of. She also assisted with the setup and breakdown of our Sangeet, and she did an excellent job there as well.

Her vendor recommendations were spot-on, and she was incredibly organized and responsive throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend Laura enough, especially if you’re planning an Indian wedding like we did. She was an essential part of making our day truly unforgettable!

A Hype Wedding

Laura was recommended by a couple of our friends and now we cannot recommend Laura enough! From the moment we started working with her, it was clear she is a true professional and an absolute joy to work with. Her communication skills are impeccable—she was always responsive and made sure we felt heard throughout the entire planning process (especially since we had a destination wedding in Cancun & had to work with their on-site coordinator)!

Laura took the time to truly understand our vision, and she brought it to life in ways we couldn’t have even imagined. She was incredibly organized, ensuring every detail was accounted for, and her meticulous planning made our wedding day completely stress-free.

Absolutely Worth It

Laura and her team at Iconic Events are simply the best!! Laura was on top of everything and made everything so effortless for us throughout the entire process. We couldn't have asked for a better coordinator for our wedding. Laura is very experienced in the wedding industry, and you can really count on her to make sure your wedding day is not only beautiful but also flawless. She had our best interest and really took care of us. Any questions we had, she was very quick to answer and provided suggestions and guidance. Her upbeat and happy demeanor provided great relief when we would email, text or call her over a concern, and she would always assure us that it would work out. We were having a hard time finding vendors (hair and makeup, DJ, florist, etc.) and thank goodness Laura had a list of wonderful vendors to work with. Since she vouched for them, you know you’re not only getting the best but also the best pricing. On the wedding day, Laura and her assistant were running around setting up the decorations and making sure everything was prepared appropriately since we had two venues. She took charge of setting everything up based on our very minimal conversation, but it turned out BEAUTIFULLY! The day ran perfectly. If there was any hiccups, we wouldn’t have known since everything was seamless. Her team went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. Our family and friends kept telling us how impressed they were with Laura in how well she handled everything. We cannot recommend Laura enough for anyone planning their wedding. We honestly could not have planned a wedding this smoothly without her and her team. Thank you for making our wedding day so special and beautiful! We greatly appreciate everything you did for us.

We should have hired her sooner!!

We hired Laura a little less than two months before the wedding. After our first meeting I felt my anxiety about the wedding instantly lifted. You can tell she has a lot of experience because she has tons of tips and tricks for every step of the process and I wish we had this knowledge a lot sooner. Laura is extremely organized and prepared and she will make sure you are too.

Laura is an advocate and that’s one of the biggest reasons I appreciated her! She will go toe to toe with the vendors/vultures who try to suck every penny from you along the way. She will make sure you get exactly what you want and make sure you get the most for your money.

The wedding turned out amazing. Our guests were very impressed and so were we. Laura and her assistant took charge which allowed me and my husband to enjoy the day with our friends and family.

We will definitely hire her again and recommend her to all our friends!!

Wedding Coordinator

Laura was the best vendor we hired and I am so thankful we did. Laura was there with us every step of the way to answer questions and guide us through the complexities of planning. I loved working with Iconic Events because of how organized they are. She is so calm, bright and upbeat! As two full time working parents, it was wonderful to have her help to put on our wedding at the museum.

Laura is dependable and organized. She saved us so much energy and headaches by coordinating with vendors, scheduling, providing suggestions on services to use, and organizing the moving pieces of the event. She consistently communicated with us whether it was a phone call, text, video call, email or in person which made me feel taken care of. If I had any questions at all she would be sure to answer them gladly. We had many questions regarding decisions: colors of florals, linens, table set up, you name it. She went above and beyond!

Laura and her assistant were there on our wedding day and they handled absolutely everything from decoration setup to vendor coordination. Our families and wedding party got to have fun and enjoy the day.

I cannot thank Laura enough for making our wedding planning experience and our wedding day easy and fun! She gladly reassured me when I was worried and helped me focus on the important tasks. Laura has an innate ability to read people and situations very well. This characteristic is something that cannot be taught so to have this in a wedding planner was priceless. Laura’s attention to detail, organization, communication, proactivity, and commitment are unmatched. Laura is extremely personable, reliable, and really advocates for her clients. She takes the time to understand what is meaningful to us on our big day.

I would highly recommend anyone planning a wedding to use Iconic Events. This was truly worth the investment! Our Friends and Family were impressed. They had so much fun and loved the surprises that we provided throughout the night.

Amazing!! Definitely recommend!!!

We took a long time choosing a wedding coordinator, since most coordinator's were above our original budget. We were already planning and DIYing everything ahead of the wedding, so just wanted a day of/month of cooordinator to implement. We debated on not having one and doing it ourselves or having family/friends help day of. But SO happy we ended up choosing to go with a cooridnator and using Iconic Events.

Leading up to the big day and on the day, there can be random things or decisions that come up. With so much going on, you need someone experienced and accountable to help. You don't want to take away from your day by stressing out or missing something. Laura was very professional and helped bring our wedding to life. We did all the DIY and preparations, but on the day of, as things came up and dealing with actual set up, her and her assistant owned all the calls/decisions of what's best for the wedding. For example:
- We wanted a late night snack table. We provided the items, but her team and our venue made it come to life by magnificently putting everything together in a way we didn't even think of and it turned out amazing!! Still hear about how awesome our snack table was.
- They helped ensure the arch was put together exactly like what I imagined/sent a picture of
- We had some cupcakes at the cake table for our "cake cutting" since we are lactose intolerant, which would have been a bit empty looking. Luckily we had bought cake for the guests and there was a nice round cake that looked great at the cake table and for actual cake cutting purposes. They made the decision to put that there and it was perfect!

Decisions like these can seem small, but it all adds up to the outcome of the wedding. We also ran late on our timeline for a bit, but she somehow caught us back up. Laura is so nice and organized, I don't know what we would have done without her. Also appreciate all the preparation and details in the timeline making, etc. leading up to the wedding to make sure everything was in the right place/ready for the big day!

Overall, you can only do so much to prepare. You do not want to or have the time to micro-manage your own wedding. There is no practice/do-over, so it's important to have someone that knows exactly what to do. Laura and her team is it!

Laura is very reliable and so responsible! She made our wedding day stress free. Our wedding was seamless and even with a rainy day, Laura took initiative in coming up with a plan B and executed it beautifully! She took care of us and made sure we were being fed throughout the day. I would recommend her 100%!

Fantastic Wedding with Iconic Events

Laura and her team helped make our wedding a total success! We booked her Month Of / Day Of Coordination Package. In the months prior to the wedding, Laura was incredibly helpful in providing contacts for vendors like cake bakery, DJ, hair and makeup, and even post-wedding dress cleaning. All our vendors executed extremely leading up to and during the wedding, and we would not have found them otherwise. Having her expertise at-hand was so helpful during the craziness of wedding planning.

During the week of the wedding and on the day, Laura's team made it feel seamless. There were some minor issues that came up during the wedding, but her team handled them elegantly, which made it possible for us to enjoy our wedding. Her team went above and beyond, even helping with decor set-up and breakdown, despite those explicitly being listed as things not included in our package. Overall, it was a wonderful to work with Laura and her team, and made our wedding that much smoother and more memorable.

We would highly recommend Iconic Events to anyone planning an event or wedding in the future!

She is the best!

Laura was our month of coordinator and I couldn't be more thankful to have her by my side on wedding day! She was responsive and helpful during the planning process. I envisioned an ambitious timeline and she worked with me to include everything I wanted. On the day of, Laura and Jennette worked tirelessly to ensure the day moved smoothly. They set up all the decorations so beautifully and packed it all up at the end of the night. I had zero sense of time and they guided me and our wedding party and followed the timeline to the minute. I honestly wouldn't have made it through the night without them. I didn't have to worry about a thing! I absolutely recommend Laura and her team and would choose them over and over again if I could! Great Experience with Iconic Events!

Laura and her team was amazing to work with. We hired Laura to be our month of coordinator and we really could not have done it without her! From the walk through to the day of the wedding, Laura was able to help us navigate and take the weight off our shoulders as we were getting stressed out with the day coming closer. We were able to get in touch with her quickly and efficiently. She also knew many of the vendors we had booked already so it was easy to get in contact with them. Not only that, she was able to recommend other vendors to us that we needed to book for our day. On the day of the wedding, Laura and her assistant Jennette made sure everything looked great and helped come up with solutions to problems as they came. For example, our cake toppers wouldn't stay on the cake so Jennette found a way to keep the toppers standing without toppling over. I would recommend this team to any future couple who is planning their wedding! Thank you so much again for allowing our dream day to come together!

AMAZING service and experience all around!

Wow - where do I begin?! Laura is absolutely amazing and on top of her game. I honestly don’t know how we could have planned this wedding without her. She was truly our support system through the entire process. From finding the perfect venue to finding all our amazing vendors. She knew exactly what we were looking for and executed it perfectly. She knew how to work with our budget for all our vendors and found the perfect fits that went along with our style of wedding. She stayed on top of us to make sure we made all our choices within the needed timeline. Any questions we had she answered quickly and always made herself available when needed. We knew right away with the quality of service we were getting pre - wedding , that our actual wedding would be cared for with the same quality. We were not let down. The day of our wedding, our only worries was getting ready in time. We had a couple of hiccups the day of - and Laura handled it with such class. She brought an assistant along with her to help and was just as amazing. All we did was purchase/rent all the decor for the wedding and Laura set it all up with just references from photos and through conversations of how we wanted our wedding to look. It was BREATH TAKING! We were so amazed when we saw everything for the first time and our guests all felt the same. I honestly can’t say enough great things about the quality of service we received. We were in such great hands and we couldn’t be more thankful. If you want your wedding and wedding planning to be fun, beautiful, and without all the unnecessary stress - absolutely go with Laura at Iconic Events!!

Laura kim is amazing!

Laura Kim with Iconic Events is a true gem. We first met with her in Dec 2019 (with a planned wedding for Aug 2020- later postponed for August 2021). I immediately knew she would be able to help us pull off our multi-venue wedding. We hired her to be our day of coordinator. She was so willing to help answer tons of questions months before the event, even though her contract was only for the 6 weeks before the wedding. We had a traditional Hindu ceremony and she knew all of the ins and outs of big Indian weddings; she knew all of the right questions to ask and could anticipate our needs before we even could. She gave us excellent recommendations on vendors as she has a wealth of experience with the industry. She had everything taken care of and needed very little from me in the days leading up to the event. On the day of, she ensured everything moved seamlessly. There were a few hiccups including inclement weather planning and delays that she handled on our behalf. I don’t know how we could’ve pulled this off without her! I would 100% hire her again!

Wonder and organized

Nikki really made our wedding amazing and so enjoyable. She was organized and kept the wedding on track in regards to our timeline for the night. She worked with the other vendors to ensure we enjoyed the night. We went with the gold package. The caterers even came out after the wedding during cocktail hour to make sure my husband and I got to try the cocktail hour appetizers. It was a perfect day.

Absolute Perfection

Poplar springs is the very definition of perfection! The venue is gorgeous and unique with the convenience of accommodations and incredible caterer all built into one! BJ was in charge of the Inn and made sure each family member and vendor had exactly what they needed for the weekend.They are extremely talented and detail oriented, I could not have asked for a better experience! Alexandra Beichler was my coordinator and went above and beyond right up to our departure the next morning. Do yourself a justice and request her!

The perfect night

Laura, Nicolas, and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing. I honestly can't thank them enough. My wife was so happy and that was worth every penny. All our friends could not stop commenting about how great everything was, including the staff, the food, and the location. We went with the gold package and it was absolutely worth it.

Great team!

Laura and her team were very easy to work with and tackled all the tasks professionally. They were more than just our day of coordinators; they also handled the rentals and catering with Gala Cuisine. We got a great deal – an all in one package! When we wanted tables and chairs set up earlier than on the day of to get a head start on decorations, Laura did not hesitate and worked with the venue owners to get that squared away. When we were having difficulties getting hold of a vendor, Laura got them to respond back to us immediately.

Best Coordinator!

Raspberry Plain Manor is an ABSOLUTELY STUNNING VENUE! The venue was perfect for our wedding. The staff was great, especially our wedding coordinator from Iconic Events Nikki Tran! She really helped make our wedding vision come true, and took care of everything on the day of! The entire day was stress free and everyone was so easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding day. Any change or update we had was accommodated right away. We had around 150 guests and fit comfortably, including a large band and dance floor area! We used the on-site catering company, Gala Cuisine, and people are still raving about our pasta station! I would definitely recommend this venue and planning service to anyone!

Removed ALL and any stress for us!!

Foxchase Manor was the most perfect venue....spacious, beautiful surroundings, ample parking, and so organized and flexible. Laura Kim and Hellen Barker with Iconic Events were unbelievably amazing. Laura took care of every detail, always with a smile, and made everything look easy. If there was a glitch, we couldn't tell because she was always prepared with an alternative idea or plan!! And keep in mind we had over 400 guests. The pre-event planning day was key and so fun. It was that day I realized, ok there really is nothing to worry about, and I was right. She had fantastic ideas and made our ideas shine even brighter. Her team was equally amazing on the day of. Great team! Hellen was so helpful and accommodating with the menu tasting and planning. The food (from the south asian menus) was fantastic, guests are still raving. I had so many ask who catered the food. I could go on with every detail....!! Thank you Iconic Events!!

Nikki was AMAZING- Raspberry Plain Manor

We wanted to write a review on our experience with Nikki Tran at Raspberry Plain Manor; she was our DOC for our wedding this past May. We give Nikki so much credit to the success of our wedding, she was not only well-organized throughout the process (months leading up to the wedding) but also very kind and supportive working through our questions, day of planning, last minute thoughts, and giving me the right energy to comfort my wedding day jitters and nerves. It was a real pleasure working with Nikki and the team at Raspberry Plain Manor, everyone was very accommodating, timely, professional, and on top of their work. During the cocktail hour, a few drops of red wine fell on my dress from an embrace with a family member, one of the workers there helped me immediately get the stain out and let me carry on without hesitation. Everyone was fantastic. Nikki helped us fine tune all the details to our wedding and helped to make sure it went to plan as we organized. She assisted with the vendors when we were too tied up to connect and helped transition our guests from ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and sparkler send off. She was also helpful after the wedding with connecting in and making sure we had everything that we brought. One can really appreciate this professionalism in a time where it can be a rare occurrence, and during the wedding this is exactly want we needed and wished for. We cannot speak more highly of the staff, team, and especially Nikki. Our wedding went perfectly because of everyone there, and we thank them for making our vision come to life.

Dream Team!

At first we booked Iconic Events because they were in the in-house coordinator through our venue, Raspberry Plain Manor (which was the PERFECT location for our spring wedding!) But as soon as we started working with Laura Kim, we knew we had found the right coordinator for us! She was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! Everything was laid out online for us to communicate (which was extremely convenient since we were planning a VA wedding from TX!) but she was also available by call/email/text! Anything we had questions/concerns about, she addressed with professionalism, kindness, patience, and all in quickly and efficiently! We could tell she wanted to make our day beautiful and as stress-free as possible! And that is exactly what it was! Walking into the space at Raspberry Plain, we were thrilled at how she and our florist worked together to create the most beautiful venue for our big day! My family was also extremely thankful for how efficient clean up was at the end of the night! Laura and the team at Raspberry Plain had everything boxed and ready to go so they could go continue partying the night away! Words cannot describe how incredible our day was and the backdrop of Raspberry Plain Manor was a dream!

Iconic Events is what made my wedding day perfect!

When we booked at Raspberry Plain Manor and booked with Iconic Events - My husband Ryan and I did not realize at first how we were so lucky to have Iconic Events by our side. I work in the wedding industry myself and I know how crazy things can get. We Had Nikki to work with and she always went above and beyond. The wedding party even complimented how great of a job she did. Nikki is very easy to talk to, and will do everything in her power to make sure your day is perfect. She has lots of spreadsheets to make everything organized. I had multiple health issues throughout the planning and honestly without Nikki and the Iconic Events team there was no way our wedding would of been as perfect as it was. After being so sick and all the planning I just wanted to let go dance, party, and celebrate with our family and friends. Which clearly happened and it was an amazing time. Nikki was so great she even texted me the next morning to make sure all was good. I always appreciate people in the wedding industry that work hard to make your special day go smooth. I know I was not the easy laid back bride, as I knew how weddings can get way behind, and stuff go wrong. Nikki did no let that happen. She got me to relax, and have a great time. Nikki helped pull off our surprise of having our favorite CAPS mascot surprise the guests! Ryan still today talks about how amazed he was with all that she did and that she was worth every penny and more! Thank you for everything Nikki and Iconic Events! You all ROCK!

Went above and beyond for everything!

We booked our venue at Raspberry Plain Manor in Leesburg, Va. we picked to have Iconic Events help plan and coordinate our special day. We got to work with Nikki. She was AMAZING! I have told everyone without her o honestly do not know how this wedding would happen. She was very easy to communicate with about ANY question. She is the most organized person I have ever met. She has spreadsheets for you to fill out and goes over EVERYTHING with you. She was very helpful with getting stuff put out and packed up on the day of the event. The entire wedding party loved how helpful she was. She was easy to talk to and work with. Even when I was having multiple health issues, I have to say she was the one that helped make things less stressful. I work in the wedding industry myself and I know how crazy and fast the day goes. I know working with someone like myself was even more of a pain. I remember Niki at one point when I came to look at everything was like girl stop being a vendor. Be a bride and go have fun. It was great to hear that. To let go and just enjoy the day. Our wedding was for sure a lot of partying and dancing the night away. Nikki even the next morning texted me to make sure the groom and some guests were good the next day....(some partied hard lol) she always went above what she needed to do, made the room look beautiful, kept us on time, helped us pull our Slapshot mascot guest surprise off, and kept the wedding day together!

Amazing experience

It has been incredible working with the entire team of Fox chase specifically Hellen Bark and Laura Kim from Iconic Events. They made our wedding day so special and memorable and I couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding. Hands down the best wedding ever!!

My wife Tiffany and I had our wedding ceremony and reception both at Raspberry Plains in March 2019. It was everything we had imagined plus more. Our coordinator, Laura Kim, was tremendous throughout the whole planning process and had made sure that our special day would turn out wonderful! We literally did not have to worry about a single thing, her organizational skills was superb whether it was ensuring our vendors were on time, setting up the ceremony/reception, food service, managing guests, guiding us throughout the rehearsal, etc. We are very thankful for Laura and all the staff who contributed to make this day a very memorable one and highly recommend checking this venue and hiring Laura as your wedding coordinator! Incredible Attention To Detail

Working with Laura and team is something I would do all over again! She paid attention to every detail, made suggestions that not only made sense but that I hadn't thought of. She took care of everything day of the wedding and I mean everything. My husband had a groomsmen who popped a button and she sewed it back on for him. The only thing I was disappointed with was that her and her assistant offered to bustle my dress which was so sweet but they did not do it correctly and it ended up falling and ripped the tulle a little. I would've liked for her to ask my mom and best friend for help when I asked her to. That being said I wouldn't have traded her/their help for the world. We were very happy with everything they did for us.

Raspberry Plain Manor was the perfect venue to get married at and we owe all of our thanks to Laura Kim. Laura was kind, patient, and very organized, the perfect day-of-coordinator for our wedding. My husband and I can be somewhat disorganized at times and Laura Kim always assured us that we had time and that things would come together. At our last walk through, Laura helped us plan our timeline and pick our linens (which we were seriously worried about). We got everything done two weeks before, which made those last two weeks much less stressful. On the day of, August 18, 2018, she exceeded our expectations. Any moment we were behind or had to be somewhere, she was there to tell us exactly how much time we had to get everything in before the night was over. We dropped off boxes of decorations and flowers and on the day of, Laura had it all beautifully placed all around the venue. She decorated our aisle and had it literally picture perfect when our guests arrived. She was the key to our wedding and we cannot thank her enough. If you have any doubt about hiring her, dont, our day would not have come together if it wasn't for her. Thank you so much Laura!!

Raspberry Plain Manor was such an amazing place to get married! It was so beautiful and they were so easy to work with. Laura, our day of coordinator, was so responsive and did such a great job to make sure everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding and the days leading up to it. She remained calm and flexible whenever minor issues came up and she was definitely willing to work with us whenever we wanted to make any changes, including changing the layout of the reception room. Laura made the process of planning and executing my dream wedding a reality! She was helpful, responsive and understood how to make my wedding MAGICAL! The day of the wedding she made so simple setting up the details exactly as I imagined, making sure not one detail was missed or left out, making sure we had exactly what we needed at all times and that not only we were happy but the guests. My husband and I got married at Raspberry Plain Manor on 10.28.17 and we cannot say enough great things about working with Laura Kim. She was amazingly helpful from the beginning of the process and coordinating our vendor appointments, up until the day of the wedding. We got so many compliments on how well the wedding flowed, and how everything was right on time. That was all thanks to Laura. She always responded very quickly to our endless questions, and always made herself available when we needed to stop by the venue, even if she was not planning to be there at the time. Laura was our coordinator for our wedding at Raspberry Plain Manor last month. I just have to say that she was a godsend. I could not have imagined getting through the last month of wedding planning , let alone the wedding day without her. Laura was extremely organized, professional, and detail oriented. She worked with all of our vendors weeks leading up to the wedding so that we didn't have to worry about last minute details. On the wedding day, my husband and I felt relaxed and stress-free knowing that Laura had everything under control. I was very particular about how I wanted certain things to be set up and Laura executed beautifully! She even bustled my wedding dress with very little instructions since my MOH had another job to do! We received a lot of compliments from our guests on how beautifully and smoothly the event went, and everyone had so much fun. Booking Laura has to be one of the best investments we made for our wedding. She is such a hard worker and a wonderful person to work with. Laura went above and beyond during the months leading up to our wedding and as a day of coordinator! I cannot put into words how appreciative I am for everything the Iconic Events team did! Laura was always available anytime I had a question or concern, and she answered my inquiries within seconds! She has such a good eye for detail and was on top of things without me having to ask. My number one desire for vendors on the day of my wedding was that I be able to trust them and feel at ease. Well, Laura and her team ensured that I felt comfortable every step of the way and on the day of my wedding all I had to do was sit back and enjoy the show! I'd definitely recommend them to other couples! :)

My husband and I got married this past September at Foxchase Manor in Manassas, VA. When we were negotiating our contract, we were given the option to add Laura Kim from Iconic Events as a partial wedding coordinator (helping beyond just the day of). We are SO glad we did! We were planning our wedding in Virginia from Boston, only adding to the complexity of what was going to be a 300+ person wedding with 2 ceremonies! Over the course of our 20 month engagement, Laura was so helpful in coordinating meetings with vendors, keeping all notes organized and making sure we knew what we were supposed to be doing and when. She has great relationships with a ton of local vendors, and through her connections made sure we were getting the best deals. Then, in the 1-2 weeks leading up to the big day, Laura was so helpful in communicating with ALL our vendors, making sure they had all of the information they needed, and helping us stay calm and organized. On the day of, she had absolutely everything under control, kept everything running smoothly (and even on time!). Our wedding had a ton of moving parts, many events, a lot of different vendors, over 300 guests, and a bunch of little details – but everything went right! We were definitely lucky to have Laura and her team and I would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in the future!

Erin was like part of the family. She was warm and welcoming and always greeted us with a beautiful smile and "can do attitude". She did an amazing job at organizing all of the big and little details. I received many wonderful compliments about the day most of which I give her credit for. She was the first one at the venue and the last to leave. Attending to every aspect of the day. The ceremony had to be moved in doors at the last minute and no one ever knew that it wasn't planned that way from the beginning. She made things happen and it was perfect. Laura Kim, our day of coordinator for our wedding, was fantastic to work with from the first day we talked to her. Very professional and timely as well as friendly and knowledgeable. She had great ideas to help us on our wedding day; like how to make things flow smoothly and how we could be cost effective in different areas leading up to our big day. The templates she provided and help with them ensured peace of mind and really allowed my wife and I to feel confident in our decisions. Also her support and encouragement throughout the process helped tremendously. When the day finally came it was great knowing we were in such good hands and we knew that everything would be taken care of so our guests had the best experience possible. On our wedding day we didn't have any stressful moments or concerns because we knew Laura would take care of us!

Hands down the best wedding planner ever! Laura Kim was our wedding planner and she helped my wife and us have the most perfect wedding ever. My wife and I are both physicians in training based in Michigan and unfortunately we dont get much free time to ourselves. With 6 months or so left prior to the wedding, we got in touch with Laura and
that turned out to be a huge BLESSING. She lined up selected top-notch vendors (DJ, photography, lighting, flowers etc) to meet with us on a short weekend trip to Manassas and made us feel so comfortable throughout the process. She was always approachable, accomodating, and worked tirelessly throughout the planning process as well as during the wedding events. Not once did she appear frazzled while helping us through our 4 event 400+ guests, multi-day Indian wedding event!!! She even gave me an amazing last minute wedding entrance idea that my wife and I will always cherish!!! She is a thorough professional and the best in this industry, we cannot thank her enough for being involved in our wedding! We told her our vision for the wedding and she delivered a perfectly planned Indian Wedding :)))) She is creative, talented and the ultimate wedding planner in the VA, MD, DC region! Needless to say, WE recommend Laura unreservedly to anyone :)

I recently had the pleasure of using Laura Kim of Iconic Events as the "Day of Wedding Coordinator", for my daughter's wedding @Raspberry Plain Manor in Leesburg. She actually was a "Month Long Coordinator". Laura was fantastic. She confirmed all the vendors made specific schedules for each. She was always available to meet me at the venue with supplies, at the rehearsal and on the day of the event. As a floral designer and mother of the bride, I had a lot of responsibility. Is was very important that I be present for my daughter and not be running around doing last minute set up. We had Laura to make sure our vision came to fruition. The wedding was Magical!!!!!

Laura was OUTSTANDING! Our wedding day would not have been anywhere near as smooth and stress free without her expertise and assistance. She made sure every vendor knew what they had to do before coming, and even packed everything up for us at the end of the night so when the music stopped we just loaded up the car and were on our way. Her services were worth every penny, and I would recommend her to anyone who asked.

This venue definitely knows what it's doing and from our experience will put on the wedding that you dreamed of once you just give them your vision. Laura is an absolute joy to work with....what you don't know about weddings(b/c hopefully it's your first time too) she has you covered. Without her our ceremony would have been a chaotic disaster since we focused on the reception but she knew just what to do and even came up with the timeline for our entire day. All of our vendors were continuously communicated with as well. If you're able to attend one of their open houses before choosing your meals you will be thrilled to taste all of their delicious choices. All of our feedback from our guests couldn't have been nicer either - everyone had a wonderful time!

Laura was FANTASTIC! She helped me plan before it was even time for her services to begin and she's still helping me figure out some after wedding things. We may not 100% recommend Fox Chase Gala Cuisine, but we'd definitely recommend hiring Laura. Even my family was happy and impressed with her work. Our wedding ran about 2 hours late getting started, but she stayed calm and figured it out for us. It was definitely our happily ever after night!

Its so hard to put into words how instrumental Laura and Iconic Events were to making my wedding a dream come true. From the time I booked Laura, till even after the wedding day, she was so helpful. When I hired her for a Day Of coordinator, that's all I thought I was getting. I didn't expect much during the planning process. But I got much more than I expected! While I was planning, Laura thought of so many details that slipped my mind and kept everything organized and on track. I feel like she doubled as a therapist as well when things were going wrong! She was always just a phone call or e-mail away. She could always clarify things, with the venue and all the vendors that I booked. She also made sure that they were kept up to date on all details. There was never any time I was waiting on a response from her. She had everything set up prior to the rehearsal dinner, so I could see how it would look the next day or if any changes needed to be made. It was such a weight off my shoulders. During our rehearsal and on our wedding day, she was so organized and helped everything flow so smoothly. I think this helped me and all my wedding party to remain calm and keep the day fun and laid back. I had so many compliments on how the wedding seemed so organized, and everything was scheduled perfectly. I could not have done it without Iconic Events!! I would recommend Laura to anyone over and over again!!

We came across Laura and her team with Iconic Events through a banquet hall vendor at Foxchase Manor. The owner there highly recommended her services in helping us prepare for our big day. So we decided to go through with a meet and greet, and right from the get-go we had nothing but positive interactions with her!

Her experience in getting us organized, thinking about things we definitely would have missed and interacting with our other vendors took a great deal of stress off our minds!

Being a Sikh South Asian wedding, we have certain customs/traditions combined into a very lengthy 18 hour day! On the day of, Laura was always nearby to answer any questions/concerns we had with our hectic day! She managed to keep us on time, including keeping our families on time (no easy feat).

We truly appreciate her professionalism, insight into the wedding world and overall friendly demeanor throughout this wedding process. We would both highly recommend her services for any other to-be married couples. Rest assured. :)

I loved Iconic Events. Laura Kim was our day of coordinator. She not only helped me on the day of my wedding but helped me get organized with getting everything ready for my wedding day. She was the best. She kept sending me reminders of things that I needed to do to help me get ready for my day. It was easy to communicate with her through emails, voice calls, or even through text. I don't really email that much, but Laura made it really easy for me to communicate with her through text. I would even text her sometimes really late at night, thinking she wouldn't respond til the next day. Sure enough she always responded to my texts. Laura and her team were the best. They helped setup all the decorations that I had made for my wedding. As a DIY bride, Laura and her team made sure that all of the things that I had prepared for my wedding looked the way that I have always pictured it to be.

On my wedding rehearsal, Laura helped me coordinate the ceremony because my coordinator for the ceremony wasn't very helpful. Laura was my life saver.

On my wedding day, she made my wedding feel like a breeze. She made sure we were on schedule and that we were having a good time. She made sure that the bride and groom ate. She helped organize and clean up everything by the time the wedding reception was done. I felt like my wedding day was perfect down to our send off. I did not only get a great coordinator for my wedding day, I gained a friend.

I recommend iconic events to anyone planning their wedding or an event. I highly recommend Laura Kim. I love her.

Laura was an absolute delight to work with. She went out of her way to keep us happy along the way. I was shocked by how Laura remembered everything I requested and kept us on track. From setting up initial meetings with our photographer, decorator, caterer, and cake vendor to making sure everything ran smoothly on the day of our wedding, she was unbelievably helpful. I received numerous compliments about how our wedding coordinator was so organized, helpful, and an overall delight. She handled any last minute changes we faced with ease and seamlessly handled any minor "disaster" without us knowing. I very highly recommend Iconic Events if you're planning a big event and I personally recommend Laura for your event.

Evelyn is a life saver! In one day she was able to set up meetings with all of our prefered vendors which saved us so much time. Everything the day of the wedding was absolutely perfect and she was extremely responsive to our needs. Evelyn was always easy to reach and responded immediately to our messages. Laura and Evelyn are amazing!! I found Iconic events through a friend's review on facebook and contacted her immediately. From day one, Laura was so responsive to all of my emails and calls. She understood our vision for our two-day events and executed it flawlessly!
We used Iconic events for day-of-coordination service, but we started working closely together a month before the wedding. My husband and I planned on having two ceremonies to value both of our backgrounds. Laura helped us with our hindu ceremony, even when she didn't understand the language that our priest was speaking in! She made sure she got the translation and kept the program going beautifully!
Laura did our set up for Saturday, and our jaws dropped when we came into the venue! Laura and Evelyn kept us well fed during the reception and made sure the timeline was followed as scheduled. They made our day so special, in a way we could not have imagined in our wildest dreams!
If you are planning a wedding in the DMV area - you will definitely want to use Iconic Events - I really don't have the words to thank them enough for their help!

A well deserved raving review about Laura Kim & Iconic Events... At first my fiance and I were on the fence of having a coordinator and met Laura a week before the big day as a recommendation from Foxchase Manor. After meeting with her we were soon impressed with her confidence and loved her enthusiasm for planning; we decided to bring her onboard - by far it was the best decision we made. Laura and Iconic Events helped turn our special day into an extraordinary one. Laura has such a natural talent for event planning. After a couple of days of meeting us she somehow knew our tastes better than we did. All her suggestions, from placement of tables, table clothes, arrangements of centerpieces, timelines, and adding a few embellishments really helped make our wedding not only look good but run smoothly. We had a lot of things packed during our big day, but Laura helped us make sure that we got to them all and enjoyed them. Laura Kim at Iconic Events was a lifesaver. Her day-of coordination services (really ends up being month-of coordination) made our wedding run seamlessly, allowing us to really enjoy the day without any stress whatsoever. Laura is super organized, responsive, professional, and highly capable - we had a 400+ person wedding with two ceremonies, a snack break, a cocktail hour, and reception, and she handled it all perfectly. She optimized the venue through her floorplan/event flow to ensure our guests had a great experience over the course of the day, and coordinated with all of our vendors to confirm their arrival times and services. We also asked her to set up a s'mores bar for us - we gave her the materials and she arranged it beautifully (it's the one pictured in her photos). I know it was a very long day for her, but she never once displayed any stress or frustration. It's a testament to her skillful organization, as well as her patience and calm demeanor. Our guests who interacted with her also made note of how wonderful she was to work with. Plus, her pricing is very, very reasonable.

Overall, we could not have asked for a better day, and Laura Kim was a HUGE part of making that happen. We are so grateful to have found her, and HIGHLY recommend her. She recently set out on her own with Iconic Events, and so she doesn't have a many reviews yet, but please don't let that dissuade you from going with Laura -- she's excellent!

Laura was our day-of coordinator but she did much more than coordinate our wedding and reception. She was very patient when I initially reached out to her with a volley of questions (since no one in our family had planned a wedding in the US before!). Once I signed her, her took the initiative to organize all information related to the event and reach out to the vendors. She scheduled site visits, put together a floor plan, created a timeline etc to ensure everyone was on the same page and clear on expectations. On the day of the wedding and reception Laura and her team made sure they were the first ones to arrive and last to leave! They took care of the minutest of details and kept things on track. It would have been impossible for me to focus on enjoying my wedding if I didn't have someone like her behind the scenes making sure things were going smoothly. Thanks much for making our special day successful and even more memorable!
