Helpful Counseling & Beautiful Ceremony! Made Our Day Unforgettable!

Rev. Keaton was such a blessing throughout our wedding journey! She provided thoughtful and very personal premarital counseling that helped us dig into important topics we might never have considered otherwise, truly preparing us for marriage in the best way possible. When it came to the ceremony, she went above and beyond—coming prepared with a beautiful order that included all the details we hoped for, plus meaningful touches we hadn’t even thought of. The ceremony was absolutely gorgeous, and our family and friends are still raving about how special and heartfelt it was. We love Rev. We knew we wanted Rev.Keaton to officiate our wedding since our first interaction with her at someone else’s wedding - 8 years ago!

We were beyond blessed to have Pastor Keaton officiate our wedding. What amazed us, and many of our guests, was how it felt as though she had known us for years, even though we had only spoken through a few emails and brief conversations. She took the time to thoughtfully ask us meaningful questions about our relationship and personalities, and the care she put into crafting the ceremony was evident.

Her words were personal, heartfelt, and at times, even funny—perfectly capturing our story and the love we share. It felt like she truly understood us, and many of our guests assumed we had known her for a long time, though we were only just beginning to know each other. Absolutely Perfect!!

We were beyond thrilled with Reverend Keaton as our wedding officiant. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she was dedicated to making our ceremony uniquely ours. Reverend Keaton took the time to truly understand our story and what mattered most to us as a couple. Her thoughtful approach resulted in a ceremony that felt incredibly personal and meaningful.

Wonderful experience

The Best Part of our Day

I'm going to try to contain my appreciation and adoration for Rev. Keaton, but it's gonna to be hard. The only reason I wanted a wedding was to have a heartfelt ceremony and Rev. Keaton ensured that happened 10 fold! While most described our wedding day as "epic", the consensus was Rev. Keaton's ceremony was the catalyst for its highly-rated review. Even those who weren't "religious" enjoyed our very Christian-based ceremony. People were truly shocked when they found out she wasn't our pastor! She genuinely made us feel like her family. She even made sure my type A behind was relaxed and in the moment before the ceremony began. That meant more than she probably will ever know.... People are still talking about how personal and special the ceremony was. We can't thank her enough for being the best part of our wedding day!

Simply Wonderful!

Rev. Keaton has served as our counselor for some time, and was recently our officient. We were so blessed to have her in both capacities and prayed to have our counselor also serve as our officient because she grew to have a more personal relationship with us. Our very intimate wedding was personalized and it did not feel like a “cookie cutter” ceremony. Rev. Keaton prepared the ceremony just for us and kept everything light. Throughout the process she was very flexible and accommodating. We would definitely recommend her counseling and officiating services to any couple!

Beautiful energy

Rev Keaton performed the most beautiful ceremony for my husband and I. From the moment she arrived to the moment she left, Rev Keaton made everything wonderful. She has this energy about her that is incredibly calming, warm, and bright. My husband and I had a very small ceremony with only three other attendees (plus three dogs), and she put all of us at ease as soon as she arrived - even our dogs! I don't believe that I would have had the beautiful experience that I had if it weren't for Rev Keaton. She really made our day what it was - perfect.

She came highly recommended to us, and I completely understand why. Aside from her wonderful energy, she is incredibly professional and conducts herself that way from the moment you begin corresponding with her to the moment she leaves your ceremony. I really cannot recommend her enough.

Beautiful experience all around

Reverend Keaton is hands down the best! My husband and I have nothing but great things to say about her. She was a dream to work with, very attentive, and quick to respond. She even takes the stress off you and returns your marriage certificate so you are able to go on your honeymoon stress free! She made our ceremony intimate and customized to fit our needs and all of our guests were raving about how lovely their experience was. No questions!! She’s the BEST

Rev. Keaton married my husband and I last week. It was such a nice intimate ceremony filled with love!

When we heard her voice and felt her gentle and minted spirit, we knew she was the right wedding officiant for us. We switched multiple venues just so she could be the one to anoint us with her blessing and seal our union. She is just the kind of person everyone on earth needs in their corner. Rev. Keaton is very kind hearted, spiritual, compassionate, full of joy and laughter and most importantly, a delight to be around. That’s the kind of energy we wanted to lead us into matrimony. The best decision we make

Rev. Keaton was exactly who we wanted to officiate our ceremony. We wanted someone who would speak with love and as if we had known each other for years. She made us feel like she was family. In addition, she helped us understand the licensing process (especially in a pandemic it is confusing) and we truly appreciated the time she took to plan the pattern of the ceremony. Family Favorite

Rev. Keaton not only wedded me and my husband but she was the officiant at my aunts wedding a couple years ago. She kept my wedding organized, timely and exciting. Me and my husband enjoyed how personal and charismatic she presented our vows. Even with possible rain shower predictions during our ceremony she still offered to stick to the plan of an outside winter wedding. We a truly blessed to have her be apart of our wedding not only for a great experience but an affordable experience as well. Thanks again Rev. We Met On a Nice Hello

Rev. Keaton made our union a very special and memorable occasion. The scriptures, prayers and blessings we recieved gave us a strong feel of unity. We walk towards each other as individuals but truly felt as one with the ceremony that Reverend Keaton officiated. She told our story and one could really visualized how our story unfoldedhow we fell in love and how we became one. If you want your union to be blessed by an ordained officiant and tge feeling of being complete and walking away with that feeling of marrying your best friend ... Reverend Keaton is the one! We will forever cherish the words and message that was shared amongst family and friends on our special day. I notice the next question asked tge payment amount ... what we paid was worth it and we know we would not have gotten that from going to the Justice of the Peace.

Amazing!!!!

Reverend Keaton was amazing from start to finish. She set the tone for our ceremony! Everyone loved her our guest on Zoom and on location couldn’t say enough about her. My Ceremony was AMAZING

Experience with Ms. Keaton as our Wedding Officiant

Ms. Keaton made it very easy for both my husband and I.

Great flexibility due to COVID

Rev. Keaton was supposed to be our officiant on our original wedding day of March 21, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency in Bethesda. It was a beautiful venue and we were expecting 130 guests. Unfortunately, due to restrictions that were put in place due in COVID in March, we were forced to cancel our wedding at the venue. Rev. Keaton was very flexible and accommodating, and allowed us to keep her as our officiant for our newly rescheduled date, which was June 27, 2020. We cut down our guest list from 130 to about 12. We had just a small outdoor ceremony on my parents' enclosed deck. We practiced social distancing, and all of our guests wore masks. Rev. Keaton did a beautiful job on our new wedding day, and we would recommend her to anyone that is in need of an officiant. Whether your ceremony has 130 guests or 12, you will be in good hands.

A beautiful blessing for our virtual wedding!

I can not stress enough how wonderful and special Rev. Keaton made our unique elopement! With everything going on with Covid and the cancelation from many of our vendors, we worried that the day wouldn't meet our expectations. Rev. Keaton made sure it exceeded! Her kind spirit and calming presents made for the most comfortable special exchange of vows and some great laughs and highlights! Our family both present and virtual enjoy her so much and gushed over the beautiful moments she created during our ceremony. We are so honored to have been married by her! I highly recommend her and her services for your special day no matter the size or place!

COVID-19 Wedding - Made Special by Rev. Keaton!

Rev. Keaton officiated such a beautiful ceremony for us on April 18, 2020. With short notice, we were able to come up with a plan for the ceremony date/time and she was very responsive by email. She was very adaptive to our situation which involved a ceremony on our front walkway and a tripod set up for our families attending via Zoom. We did not plan out a script or anything since it was short notice, but everything she said was custom to us and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Her overall personality, tone, and presence was perfect for our intimate ceremony; she was so warm, welcoming, and calm (which was nice for me since I'm anxious and a crier!).

We cannot thank her enough for bringing such joy to our lives and our families during this global pandemic. We are so happy we chose to have Reverend Keaton conduct our ceremony. I would definitely ask her to conduct a vow renewal for us in the future, she is truly a blessing!

Respecting COVID19 restrictions

My husband and I spent our lives in service in the USAF — married by REV Keaton, Retired USAF. With one day notice we were married outside a church under a cherry blossom tree- a rainy day started but after “I DO” the sun shined & church bells rang! Standing 6ft + apart w/ 4 friends REV Keatons words captured our hearts & connected us forever. witnesses cried. We had planned a beach front wedding at Fort Story but given our roles in healthcare — no time — mission forward to serve our people and our country. Heaven sent!!!

There are no words to describe how thankful and blessed my husband and I were so find Rev. Keaton. We got married seven days ago now and I miss her already but only seen her once in person. Made Our Ceremony Memorable

I found Rev Keaton on wedding wire! Spoke with her on the phone and so was sold. She is so welcoming, genuine, and sincere. After speaking for about 30 minutes I asked for her to send over the contract and she also sent a questionnaire for my husband and I. Fast forward to the wedding day she came to my bridal sweet to say hello and check in on how I was. During the ceremony she was amazing. Included my ten year old daughter which was one of my favorite parts. We received so many compliments on her, and it seemed like she knew us personally which is how I felt. Despite that being the first time we ever met no one could even tell. My family loved her, I can’t say how much I enjoyed her being our officiant. Don’t hesitate or look any further!!! She is amazing!!!!

In a league of her own!!

Fantastic, she really made us feel like she'd known us her entire life. We married on April 7th, 2018. It's only taken me a year and four months to find the perfect words how much "I Wed You" (aka) Reverand Dr Keaton means to us.

She was professional, she gave instructions to make our experience unique and classy. She respected our individual preferences and worked to ensure that everything went according to plan.

Her credentials exceed beyond our expectations. Which say good things about here. We went through a few different options and none of which suited our interests. I'd strongly recommend anyone considering using Reverand Dr Keaton's services that you speak with her.

She is convicted in her practices. She's ordaned. She has credentials to support it. And spoke to us with purpose to ensure we knew exactly what we were getting. We appreciate and love her and hope that if you are considering you'd feel the same way we do.

Wonderful!

My Fiancé and I needed to get married on a tight schedule because of his job in the service and were turned away by the court due to timing conflicts. We called Rev. We were so fortunate to have Reverend Keaton officiate our wedding. She was a pleasure to work with from the very first meeting we had over Skype. (We live In California, but our wedding was in DC. She was very accommodating of our need to plan from across the country.) She was warm, funny, but also down to business. She gave us ideas and inspiration for the wedding ceremony that we hadn't even considered ahead of time, and this inspiration ended up being some of the most special memories for us and for our parents. So many of our friends came up and asked us about her after the ceremony and also mentioned that she was hilarious. If you are looking to put God first in your wedding ceremony, and also make the wedding style your own, we would highly recommend Reverend Keaton. She is a big reason that our special day was so memorable.

We did not find Rev. Keaton on Wedding Wire but had to share our delight with her service to us! We can’t say enough positive things about Rev. Keaton and the special day she created for us. She was extremely friendly, outgoing and warm. We needed to have a legal ceremony before our Ohio wedding in a few weeks, and she was able to make time for us on very short notice. We are so happy that we chose Reverend Keaton to officiate our wedding! From the very start, we liked her warm personality and sense of humor. She took the time to get to know us and listen to our story of how we met. Reverend Keaton personalized our ceremony with what was important to us and happily and readily incorporated our suggestions for changes in the script. During the ceremony she engaged our guests, gave wise advice for us, and even went off script with some timely jokes that got everyone laughing. Some of our friends and family were so impressed with her that they asked for her card, hoping to join her Sunday service! Wow!! I received so many compliments from my guest on the wonderful ceremony that the Reverend performed I was blown away. She had the perfect blend of humor, faith and love written into our ceremony. We had the pleasure of being married by Dr. Rev. Deborah Keaton just yesterday in a very intimate ceremony including myself, the photographer, the videographer, Reverend Keaton and her husband. Prior to the ceremony we met Rev. Keaton at a local coffee shop to talk about the details of the ceremony and get to know one another. We had communicated by email before then and filled out an information form including what type of traditions we'd like to include in our ceremony. She also sent questions addressed to each of us about our relationship and the qualities we love about one another. We were to fill them out without seeing the other person's and send them back to her. When we met at the coffee shop we were immediately filled with joy over the kindness, genuineness, and graciousness of Rev. Keaton. She truly walks the walk. We felt so comfortable sharing our love story and talking about what marriage really entails. Fast forward to the ceremony yesterday . . . We were greeted with the same kindness and graciousness, but this time Rev. Keaton's husband was in attendance. Such a beautiful couple. I cannot say enough about our intimate ceremony. I was secretly a little unsure how it would go being so intimate, but let me tell you it was the most special day of my life. Rev. Keaton skipped nothing and we could truly feel the presence of God. We lit the unity candle, did the hand tie, the vows and exchanged rings. The ceremony was completely customized. I was blown away that the last line of our vows Rev. Keaton the exact words Eric (my hubby) had said to me months prior that "there's no storm we can't weather." Very touching and special indeed! I highly (and if there was a word above highly insert here) recommend Dr. Rev. Deborah Keaton if you are looking for a warm, God fearing, gracious, kind loving soul to marry you. We could not be any more happy about our choice and look forward to inviting her and her husband to do a renewing of the vows down the road!!!

Reverend Keaton created an intimate, personal, and enjoyable ceremony for us. We had to plan our wedding in Maryland from Chicago, but she helped make the 600-mile away wedding planning a breeze! We spoke on the phone a few months before our ceremony and again on the day of the ceremony, and after ten minutes I felt like I'd known her my whole life. She is full of amazing energy and clearly enjoys what she does. I cannot recommend her enough - she played a vital role in creating the best day of our lives. Thank you so much, Dr. Keaton!

Reverand Keaton is truly a Godsend! We contacted her pretty late in the process of planning our wedding because our original ideas had to be adjusted and, she was right on board. I expressed the significance of the day, being legally married on my late mother’s birthday and our desire to only have a quaint legal ceremony prior to our destination wedding. She exceeded all of our expectations. Not only did she travel through the inclement weather at midnight to accomodate us because we had a very early flight on the same day we wished to be married, she also took the time to get to know us and she incorporate special moments into our ceremony! She cares and you will feel it.

If I could give Rev. Keaton a million star rating I would. We choose Rev. Keaton based on reading the reviews. The reviews do not give her justice. We wed on 12/2/2017. She was phenomenal. From our initial phone call you know she is dedicated to her profession. Not only dedicated, she truly cares about you as a couple. She organized our rehearsal. Love Love Love Rev. Keaton. She is an amazing and lovely minister. She wed us 16 days ago and made our ceremony very personable. We received so many compliments on her. My aunt is a pastor and she even allowed her to be incorporated into our ceremony. The reason I chose her was because the first time we spoke she cared about us. Rev. Keaton is patient, genuine, devoted, and a perfect answer to a bride's desperate prayers. With less than three weeks into my sister’s wedding we realized we needed to find another Officiant. Her busy scheduled sunk our hearts at first but then God stepped in and allowed her to make the necessary changes to accommodate us, and her prior engagement. I found myself the day of, more worried about the time than Rev. Keaton. She came in with a bright friendly smile and displayed such a loving and caring character that melt all the worry I had. My sister‘s wedding day was perfect and it all began with the most amazing ceremony. It was the first time my family members and I met the Reverend, and at the end everyone praised and celebrated the awesome job she did. They even reminded me that I needed to save her contact and give her a perfect review. She took her time and did an amazing ceremony, you would believe she met the bride and groom before. My sister kept repeating how relaxed she felt during the entire ceremony while my brother-in-law still cannot fathom that I did not know her before his special day. Rev. Keaton even took time out to incorporate my sister’s two sons into the ceremony which was more than we asked for. I really believe she’s worth way more that she offers, which is a solid representation that she is doing this for the love of God and people, not money. Rev. Keaton was lovely, everyone had a great time. She is also very responsive and I don't know much about wedding officiants and their pricing but I feel, based on the two other quotes that I got from others before finding her, that she is definitely not doing this for the money and fits in to a budget very well. If I paid her double what I did, I still would've felt it was worthwhile. If you are looking for something short, simple, personal, and very friendly, definitely go with her.

Rev. Keaton is wonderful! She was very friendly and took notes about what type of ceremony that my husband and I wanted. On the day of the ceremony, she met with both my husband and I privately to make sure everything we wanted covered was there and also to make sure that she was pronouncing my name correctly! The ceremony she performed was beautify and original. It didn't feel copied, but specific to us. She had the crowd laughing and everyone thought it was special. She incorporated our written vows, as well as traditional vows. Highly recommend her to perform your ceremony! Thanks again!

Rev. Keaton is a gem! After contacting several different officiants, I came across her information and she answered the phone the first time I called. She was warm, friendly and flexible with our timeline. We even had to change the date and she was very accommodating. You truly can't ask for a better person to officiate your wedding. She spoke as if she'd known us for years! We were both in tears!! My husband and I have attended countless weddings over the years and a pastor who's known both parties since birth may not make your wedding as personal as she did! We are so thankful that God allowed us to have Rev. Keaton officiate our intimate wedding in a local park. I was pretty nervous when hiring an officiant because we are a mixed faith couple - I am a Christian (although I do not attend services regularly) and he is athiest. Pastor Keaton worked with us to create a wonderful ceremony that was able to honor our marriage, both honoring my faith and his beliefs as well. We already had a concrete idea of the elements that we wanted to include in the ceremony and created a script. Pastor Keaton was able to use what we wrote to create a wonderful ceremony that conveyed exactly the feelings that we wished to convey on our wedding day. She was professional, and has a really warm personality. Having her as an officiant took a lot of stress away from the ceremony (imho, the most important part of the wedding!) which I had a lot of complex feeling about because we are a mixed faith couple. I was so grateful to have found Pastor Keaton and I would not hesitate to recommend her services to anyone.

After researching other vendors we came across Rev Keaton by browsing the Internet. Although she was a bit over our planned cost we went with her after talking to her. We were instantly drawn to her warm friendly manner. She asked all the right questions to draw out what we wanted and made us feel like she cared. our wedding day was just what we hoped it would be and more. So glad we went with Rev Keaton! We located Reverend Keaton here on WeddingWire and was instantly happy with her services. She worked diligently with my fiancée and I to customize the perfect ceremony to include elements of both a Christian and Muslim wedding. We love love Reverend Keaton! She was responsive, patient, accommodating, nurturing, professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate.
