Ken was extremely flexible and helpful while planning our wedding in two weeks. Aside from his guidance during the legal process, his speech was perfect in making our wedding incredibly special during a time of confusion due to lockdown. Highly recommended!

Fantastic DJ and Officiant!

Ken and his team were extremely professional and well-organized. Our ceremony and reception went without any issues and Ken was a true Master of Ceremony. Songs were seamless and our family had a blast on the dance floor. Thanks to Ken and his team.

Awesome Officiant

Ken did an amazing job as our officiant. He is very organized, and professional. Our rehearsal went very smoothly because he is very good at directing people and making sure we all understood how things work go. Everyone was able to hear him at our outdoor ceremony and we heard nothing but praises about our ceremony.

Best officiant for any type of Wedding

Kenneth Kibbey was the officiant at our wedding and I am so glad I found him! He was quick to respond and also took the time to sit down with us and personalize exactly how the ceremony would go. He gave us excellent advice and went with a wine box ceremony as well. He went to rehearsal right on time and got everyone in line and directed them. We went over it a few times and asked if it was right before ending the rehearsal. His voice was awesome and carried over so everyone could here him well. His speech powerful and I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding! Would highly recommend him to any couple looking to tie the knot as he makes your day unique and personalized to you and your views.

Kenneth was amazing. He was there for every bit of the planning and anytime I had a question he responded quickly. He did an amazing job on our ceremony even though my husband tried rushing through it with an early "I do". Haha fail. The DJ portion was great! He kept everyone interested and everyone dancing!! Overall, very satisfied with his service and the amazing job he did for our wedding!!

Ken Kibby was so awesome on our wedding day and kept things rolling smoothly even when we didn't have our rings at the ceremony! Haha fail! Ken was recommended to us by the venue as we are not members of a church and upon our first time meeting with him, we knew he was the guy for us. Ken was prompt on his responses and helped guide us through the steps at the rehearsal and on the day of. I received many compliments about our officiant and people asking for his contact information. I highly recommend him for your wedding!

When we started planning our day we knew that we (1) didn't want a church wedding, but (2) didn't want to married by one of our friends. It was important to us to balance the religious and non-religious members of our family, and Ken did just that! He was so easy to work with, he asked us great questions, and was very flexible with additions I wanted in the ceremony. On our rehearsal, the Grand Haven drawbridge got stuck in the open position, and we were all an hour late! He was able to shuffle around other commitments he had to ensure that we got the rehearsal we wanted! We had a great day- in large part due to Ken.

Our officiant was Chris Dingman and he did a really awesome job. Ken made the whole process easy and the least stressful part of the whole wedding planning. He was responsive to emails and phone calls. They both helped navigate through the process and told us what to expect. Chris showed up and was able to take charge of our rehearsal time, but did it in a way that everyone was happy with. They were open to suggestions and gave us a chance to review what they were saying a few weeks prior to the wedding so we could make changes if we needed to. I would definitely recommend their services for anyone looking for an awesome team of officiants for their wedding day.

Ken was an excellent wedding officiant but an even better DJ! He made our special day go as smoothly as possible and the comments by all my guests were only positives. Ken is highly recommended by this newlywed couple and I think you would only say the same thing if you hired him as well!

Chris Dingman was professional and a perfect fit for us on our special day! They will write your script, let you edit and adapt the ceremony to fit you two perfectly and then send in the marriage license at the end of it all! I recommend doing a rehearsal. Even though it's simply walking down an aisle and repeating a few words, it will make you feel all the more comfortable on the day of the wedding and gives you a chance to meet them ahead of time. Highly recommend Chris for your wedding!

We had ken for our ceremony and he was great! He was attentive to our needs and was so down to earth! He did my brothers wedding and did a great job so we for sure wanted to have him for ours! My husband and I wanted a stress free and easy wedding. The courthouse was going to suite us just fine until we found out they required some sort of marriage counsling and after 7 years of living together in happiness counseling was out of the question. We found Ken just by google and emailed him, within 10 minutes I recieved a call from Ken himself and an appointment was made. The three of us got along great and we filled out a simple questionnaire and this was about 3 months before our wedding. One month before our wedding we recieved an email with a ceremony outline that we were able to customize and send back. We asked for a ceremony that did not involve any religion and was just about the 2 of us and thats was we got. At our wedding he arrived 20 minutes before the service was do he was dressed better than some of our guest and he spoke so loud and clearly and made an impression on everyone. For us not even wanting a wedding Ken made us happy we chose to have the ceremony. I would reccommend him to anyone and everyone i know.

Ken Kibby was our officiant and made planning out our wedding ceremony a breeze. We met with him and reserved our date with a deposit as well as talked about what we wanted to include in our ceremony. He does both religious and non-religious ceremonies. You can choose to do your own traditions and or rituals as well. Ken was very helpful in writing our vows and the order of how things would go on the day of. We had a ceremony rehearsal the day before our wedding and Ken made sure everything was clear and there were no questions. On the day of our wedding he wore an under shirt in our wedding colors and spoke loud enough for everyone to hear. One thing I really liked was that he e-mailed us a copy of the ceremony wording and we could change it up until the week before. That was helpful!

Selecting an officiant is something that was very important to me. Ken was awesome from day one! He always got back to me with my email correspondence. We went to meet him and he went over everything in detail. Gave us suggestions if we wanted and told us to let him know anything we did not like and we could change as it was our special day:). He gave us the suggestion about the dove release and I am so happy we did!! It was so incredible! All of our guests said it was the first time they had ever seen:). His voice was strong and he was so down to earth and made it very special for us. He even coordinated with our colors for the wedding. We wrote our own vows which was very nice. I cannot say enough good things about him and I definitely recommend him highly!!

My wife and I were married by Ken on April 7, 2012. From start to finish, he was amazing. At first, we didn’t completely know what we were looking for in our ceremony, but we did know what we didn’t want. After meeting with Ken once, we knew he could provide us with the ceremony that would suit our needs and personalities. His basic questions allowed both him and us to better understand what type of ceremony we wanted. Prior to the ceremony, he sent us two options for the ceremony, we were able to add or remove portions. However, we didn’t find much that we wanted to change.

Ken took charge at the rehearsal. His experience was noticeable and appreciated. With parents, groomsmen, bridesmaids, a young flower girl and ring bearer, and, of course, a bride and groom with many things on our mind, Ken was able to provide us all with clear directions to organize us. This made the rehearsal and, more importantly, the wedding go off so smoothly. We truly could not have had a better ceremony, the style and sentiment was exactly what we wanted. And Ken was prepared with Kleenex when it was needed.

Great Officiant and DJ! My husband and I used Ken's services for both our ceremony and reception at our April 2011 wedding. Ken had one of the officiants he works with, Scott, perform our ceremony and Ken was our DJ at the reception. Both aspects of his services were top notch and we got a lot of compliments from our guests on how good of a job they did! Planning the ceremony was a breeze. We had no idea what were were doing, but Ken made it idiot proof. We definitely needed that! His DJ equipment was top of the line and he did a great job with the music at the reception. He was always very professional and helpful, and made sure everything was perfect. We would absolutely recommend him to our friends and family for their ceremonies and events!

Ken was really a great officiant! He met up with us and talked about what we wanted and didnt want in the wedding. He is very fairly priced. He was very professional and I appreciate his flexibility and patience with us. He showed up to our rehearsal on time and everyone else was late (including myself), he waited for us to get there and walked through the wedding with us. He knew exactly what we should do and where we should walk and everything so it was really easy for us and took a little bit of the stress of the day away. He was perfectly on time for our wedding, in a suit with a shirt and tie that perfectly accentuated our wedding. We had family members that were about 45 minutes (yes, family members) late to the wedding and he waited for them to get there even though he had a packed day. I really felt like that was him going the extra step to help us out on our wedding day. He didnt have to do that, he could have just said that we had to start on time but he went the extra mile for us. He is a great officiant. The ceremony was beautiful too. All of what he says is great too.

Ken did an awesome job officiating our wedding and also transitioning into DJ. He knows his job and knows it well. We had numerous compliments on how great he was at keeping the party going. Ken is very professional and we couldn't have asked for a better person to perform our ceremony. Ken as a Dj is a fun person who you can tell really enjoys what he does. Ken stays social with the crowd while still keeping the music going. I would highly recommend him and am sure you will not be disappointed!

I was very pleased with I now Pronounce You Wedding Services. They did an amazing job and I couldn't have asked for it to have gone any other way.
The only issue that i had was there was some lack of communication due to emailing issues.
Other than that it went very smoothly.

We met with ken over the summer.
We were not really sure what we were looking for.
After consulting with him we were very impressed with his profesinolism..
We booked him for our reception as well, and got nothing but compliments on how wonderfull the night was.

Ken Kibby performed our ceremony. I had written the entire ceremony, because we wanted a fun and upbeat wedding. We didn't need a lot of guidance or script writing from Ken, and he was willing to present the wedding we wrote. He met with us before the ceremony to go over the plan, then presided over the most fun wedding ever! Ken even cracked up laughing during part of it, but that was what we wanted. The guests all thought he did a great job.

Ken did an awesome job officiating our wedding. He wrote us a beautiful ceremony, that incorporated everything we had asked for. He was even patient when we got some rain & had to wait it out for a few minutes, even though he had another wedding to get too. Ken was great during our initial meeting and during the rehearsal and wedding. He looked nice, was a good speaker and injected a little humor/fun into the day. His price is fair and he did as we asked. However, he DID mis-pronounce our new last name and he used the word "God" in our ceremony which were both big no-nos for us. We reiterated numerous times during our meeting with him (and when he and I wrote the script together) that we wanted no religion of any kind and I was slightly annoyed when he told our guests that God was going to bless our rings. As for saying our name wrong, that's pretty unacceptable to me in any situation, much less when we are there becoming a family. Overall, I would reccommend him but make sure and go over any key points to make sure he is on the same page.

They were prompt in getting back with me if I had any questions and they were flexible with the changes I wanted to make.

Ken was good.
He just always seemed to be in such a rush and didn't make us feel like our wedding was really that important.
He did a good job with the ceremony itself and made us feel comfortable during the ceremony, but had to leave right away for another one.
He was also supposed to do our blessing at our ceremony that he had volunteered to do and then the night before told us that he had someone schedule last minute and couldn't do it. Which was fine we found someone else to do it, but then he showed up right after the blessing. So we weren't sure what went on there.
He did a great job though, the ceremony was exactly what we wanted. Other than being rushed he did a great job with our wedding. We wouldn't have changed anything about it.

Initial Contact: E-Mailed them that I was interested - was asked to fill out the planner and email back with $50 deposit following in the mail. I emailed back the planner and told them the $50 check was on the way from my fiance asking if they could please confirm when they received it. 2 wks went by with no email or phone call back from them and so I asked if they received the check. No response. Another week goes by and I email them again asking for someone to respond to me. Turns out they had the check but were confused that it was from my fiance (who's name was listed in all my emails and documents) and they didn't know who the check was for? Fine... but, why not respond to me when I emailed you the first time? He basically blamed his assistant and seemed quite nice on the phone until he said "Don't worry - someone will be there to marry you...what day are you getting married again??" Was a little unsettling, but I figured it would be fine - my fiance and I are pretty laid back and we just needed to get married, so whatever!
Day Before Wedding: I receive a phone call from Ken telling me that he is "calling it" and that due to the forecast of rain I would have to have my wedding inside. I calmly explained that I would prefer to look at the radar the day of my wedding to be sure. It was in my original planning documents that I would let them know the day of. His response was simply "fine." followed by *click*. Real professional.
Day of wedding: Ok, so we stated no mention of God (my fiance is not religious) and no mention of children. HE READ A PRAYER FOR US TO BE BLESSED WITH CHILDREN. We never saw or approved anything like that.
Lucky for Mr. Kibby, my fiance and I still laugh about it and the end result was a success - we are happily married. Would I book with or recommend anyone to ever use I Now Pronounce You? Nope - not at all. Unprofessional. Completely.
