Wonderful Experience!
We highly recommend the Hyatt/KI for your wedding! We worked with Mike from start to finish during the planning process. He was kind, patient, and extremely responsive. He helped every single one of our venue dreams come to life. When we first started looking at venues, we fell in love with the big ballroom and beautiful Riverview rooms at the Hyatt/KI. It is just such a pretty space. We chose the Hyatt/KI for our rehearsal dinner and for our wedding reception, and we would do it all over again in a heartbeat! The staff at the Hyatt/KI were the most welcoming and kind people. They all greeted us with big smiles and were so easy to work with. Brooklynn was our event captain, and she met each and every one of our requests. She checked in on us throughout the night to make sure everything was going just as planned, and provided us updates as needed. The bartenders were a ton of fun, and the serving staff was so sweet. We felt taken care of by each and every one of the staff. They showed that they wanted it to be the perfect day for us. Truly, they went above and beyond to make our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception the most perfect days. We cannot thank them all enough. The food was absolutely delicious (including the rehearsal dinner, appetizers, plated meals, and late-night snacks), and the drink selections were great. You will not regret booking with the Hyatt/KI! -

Amazing to work with!!
We had our wedding scheduled for the Hyatt 7/11/20- with the forever changing uncertainty of the COVID pandemic we had to cancel our big day. The Hyatt was next to nothing during this scary and uncertain process- they helped reassure us along the journey and basically told us if the day is anything less than what we envisioned they would work with us no questions asked. They were so accommodating, kind and compassionate. We are uncertain of a time we will celebrate our marriage, but will 100% keep the Hyatt Regency Green Bay in mind for when we do. From start to finish of this journey their communication was next to none! Deanna and Tracy were amazing to work with. -

Hire the Hyatt!
One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was going with the Hyatt for our reception venue. Most of the original places we looked at just weren’t big enough for our wedding numbers (260). Plus, having a lot of out of town guests, the hotel was an important factor. After our initial meeting at the Hyatt, we were sold. Deanna was amazing—organized, helpful, friendly. The Hyatt wasn’t just a place for our reception, but a team of people who made sure we had the best day ever. -

Wonderful experience!
I would highly recommend the Hyatt/KI Convention center for your wedding venue. I worked with Deanna and she was AMAZING! From the minute I first met with her she continued to go above and beyond with every aspect of our day. She was very accommodating when meeting with me last minute or over the phone as I was planning our wedding from out of state. She made sure that every detail of the reception was covered. This was the perfect venue for guests as the reception/hotel are connected and very convenient (and affordable) for overnight guests. The food was exceptional, and we received many compliments. We picked family style service and had the chicken marsala and beef tenderloin. The chef even made a special glaze for the green beans which we requested (not on the original menu) for no extra charge. I cannot give enough praise to Deanna as she was one of the main reasons that everything went so smooth the day of the wedding. She checked in with us up until the day of the wedding and even came up to my husband and I as well as both of our parents at the reception to make sure everything was going as planned. I would book this venue just to work with Deanna! Thank you Deanna and all of the staff at the Hyatt/KI for giving us the most perfect day imaginable! -

I'm glad we picked the Hyatt for our big day. It was super accommodating and convenient to have our ceremony and reception all in one place, especially since most of our guests traveled from out of town to share in our special day with us. Kallie was AMAZING to work with. She answered all of my millions of questions throughout the entire wedding process. I would highly recommend choosing the Hyatt for your wedding or any future event! -

If you are looking for a wedding venue that is beyond professional with excellent service, the Hyatt is exceptional. Kallie, the wedding event planner was always available for questions, flexible with changes and delivered the best customer service and perfect wedding. The Riverview room was amazing for the ceremony, food was excellent and every detail that came up, even the day of, I had several people there to make it all happen right away. Couldn't have ask for a better experience! In my opinion, the combination of countless amenities that come with the Hyatt brand, having the hotel connected for overnight guests, beautiful/energetic downtown location, delicious food, and their fantastic staff make it the best reception/event venue in the Green Bay area. We worked with Kallie Stewart who is outstanding! She is not only very talented at what she does, but went above and beyond for us time and time again. -

Kallie was absolutely amazing to work with!! We cannot say enough good things about her and how much she helped to make our day perfect. From the start of planning to finish, she has been incredibly responsive. We highly recommend booking your day at the KI. Our guests had so many compliments about our ceremony, pre-reception, reception, AND accommodations all taking place at the same location. Our wedding turned out fabulous. The Hyatt was very accommodating with everything. We had zero issues, and received many compliments from guests on the venue. The food was also outstanding! I highly recommend the beef tips! :-) I would definitely recommend the Hyatt Regency to others for their Wedding Day! -

I had both my ceremony and reception at the Hyatt Regency in Green Bay. I wanted a space that could host both events, as well as lodging to make it the most convenient for my guests. The Hyatt had it all. The ceremony space overlooked the river and my guests were able to walk right in to the reception area afterwards. Guests then walked to their hotel rooms at the end of the night. They didn't have to drive after drinking or go out in the cold. The food was excellent too. It all came out hot, and there was plenty of it. Kallie, our Hyatt contact, is amazing. She is responsive and patient. Just as an example, we texted her the night before during set up about cocktail tables we needed. We had a Hyatt employee bring the tables to us in less than 15 minutes. Amazing! She is also so knowledgable about the space and large events in general. She made sure our day was perfect, and even personally checked in during our event. If I did it all over again, I would choose the same space! -

This past summer I had my wedding at the Hyatt Regency in Green Bay and was overwhelmed with how awesome it all turned out! Kallie is super easy to work with and is great at what she does! She was always responded quickly when I had questions and went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we hoped it would be. My husband and I were in awe of the reception hall when we went in for a first look and our guests raved about the venue, the food, and the fantastic service! Kallie was wonderful to work with and a great wedding coordinator! :) -

Working with Kallie at the KI Center for our wedding was the most amazing experience! She knew what she was doing and was super organized and accommodating. If there was something that you wanted done for your special event then she would find a way to make it happen. It was the most perfect choice for us to make on having our reception at the KI. Booking with Hyatt Regency Green Bay will allow you to take stress off your shoulders. Angela was the best to work with and went above and beyond to make the day extraordinary. Angela was very open to our ideas, sharing her ideas and working with us through the whole planning process to make your vision come true. Our guest's hotel rooms were top-notch and the reception food and snack bar was delicious (especially for a mom who is a chef)! -

We held my daughter's wedding at The Hyat. The hospitality and service were exceptionally good. Angela and Kallie are amazing event planners. I did not have a wedding planner but the Hyatt staff took care of all of our needs. The decor was beautiful, the food was hot and delicious. The bar service was great. It was so convenient to have our pre-reception gathering, the reception, the gift opening and breakfast the next morning all in one place. Our out-of-town guests really enjoyed the convenience of having all of the events in one place. We were so pleased with our service that we booked our next daughter's wedding at The Hyatt -

We absolutely loved working with the Hyatt for our KI ballroom wedding. Our only comment from guests and for us, is that if you get an upstairs ballroom ( new renovation) be prepared to walk! We didn't think ahead for our older guests and they should have actually been dropped off right in front of the Hampton to take the elevator, and evwn then it's quite the walk. Everything else was above and beyond and they were very accommodating with any extras I wanted... No extra charges or hidden fees. -

We had our wedding reception at the Hyatt and we have nothing but amazing things to say about it . The hotel itself is beautiful, but it was our "wedding planner" Angela that made it amazing. (She wasn't technically our wedding planner, but she was willing to help with literally anything wedding related.) She helped us throughout the entire planning process find other vendors, pick out decorations, everything. The food at the reception was amazing and the staff was great. We would recommend the hyatt to anyone looking to get married in Green Bay. -

We used the Hyatt on Main for our Reception Venue and Catering - they were FABULOUS!!! The food was absolutely delicious and there was so much food on each plate, we definitely got our money's worth. We chose to offer the Chicken Vesuvio, Pork Tenderloing, Vegetarian Pasta Primavera, and Children's Meal to serve our guests, and I believe just about every guest came up to us and told us how delicious everything on their plates was! We also were able to use the Hyatt for our Rehearsal Dinner and were able to book the lobby for our cocktail hour. Our guests absolutely loved every aspect of the wedding.
Most importantly - Angela the catering manager is so amazing. Any question that popped into my head she took pleasure in answering. My girls and I even got an extra "surprise" in the room that we stayed in the night before the wedding. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose the Hyatt on Main in a heartbeat. -

We used the Hyatt on Main for our catering and they did a wonderful job. The food was delicious and you got so much on each plate. That was the most common comment we got from our guests, they could not believe how much food they got. I definitely recommend the Door County Chicken and Roasted Sirloin they were both amazing. We received great service from the Hyatt on Main during the planning stages as well as our wedding day. I would definitely recommend the Hyatt on Main for off site catering, great menu and drink selection with reasonable prices! They made our wedding very special! -

We worked mostly with Angela Nelson in planning our wedding. Our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception were all held at the KI Convention Center. Angela was very helpful in all aspects. She suggested photographer and DJs for us to use and they worked perfectly!
The food was DELICIOUS, we got a lot of compliments on that. The Hyatt on Main/KI Convention Center is a great place to hold a wedding. Everything went smoothly :) -

We had the BEST experience here! Angela was so wonderful with all of her help throughout the whole process. I live out-of-state and she really did a fantastic jobs answering my emails/questions/concerns. Everything went so smoothly. We had our rehearsal dinner in the Champion's Club. Everything was so wonderful. Food was great, very private and it was the perfect size. Dallas did a wonderful job checking in with us all weekend long. Can't say enough great things about him. They were super flexible in creating some custom menu items for us...they offered a salmon filet selection for dinner since it's my favorite. And it was wonderful. They also created a french fry bar with assorted toppings (chili, cheese, sour cream, condiments, etc) for us to put out late at night for our guests. They also made a signature strawberry champagne cocktail that was tray passed out in the atrium during cocktail. A lot of our guests told us it was delicious and that it was a really elegant touch. The atrium was a MUST for cocktail hour for us!
My father and I talked post-wedding and really thought the price was super reasonable and would give 6 stars on the value for cost if I could! I paid as much for flowers and decor together as we did on all of the food. -

The employees were fantastic! We have never worked with such a professional group! Excellent food and big enthusiasm from the employees. They made our wedding party and stay well worth the money we paid. We would definitely recommend them to our friends and family! The rooms were fantastic! All rooms are suites which was really nice since we had a large number of friends and family. -

After checking out other caterers, we decided on Regency. Their prices were reasonable, their food was terrific, and their customer service was fantastic! Diane, the catering manager, was a dear to work with. The bar manager, Dallas, was fantastic too. If we ever have another event that we need catered, we will use Regency and NO one else- no questions asked. They are fantastic!!!! -

Regency suites was excellent - they were very flexible with a wide variety of dinner options for the wedding reception. The nicest thing was that their quote included EVERYTHING - including tip, gratuity, linens, dinner wear, center pieces, our choice of color coordinated napkins. They set up a taste testing session with our choice of four dinners and allowed our families to come with. We loved the biscuits and applebutter and parmesean encrusted chicken with the honey glazed carrots! Diane was very professional and of great assistance with simplifying our wedding. Definately recommended :) -

The food was fabulous at our wedding and the regency was great to work with. My husband and I are vegetarians and so were a handful of our guests. They offered vegetable kababs and fettucine alfredo that was delicious and I heard that the chicken we served was great as well. They were also very fleixble as we added a few last minute things to the menu. They were also one of the few caterers that included the linens and china in their upfront fees. The prices were reasonable, the food was delicious, and they provided excellent customer service. -

Kallie was absolutely fantastic!! She is so sweet and really makes you feel like you're the only couple getting married (even though the Hyatt has multiple weddings each day!!) She would respond almost immediately and really worked with our budget. She even hand wrote a card, sent donuts and mimosas to our suite after the reception! I would recommend the Hyatt to anyone who wants a beautiful, budget-friendly, and accommodating venue to host their event! -

This was the best experience I could have possibly had. Dianne was our event planner and Dallas was the manager on duty on our night. They could not have been more helpful! Every question was answered completely and every request was followed accurately and immediately. Anytime I ran across a problem, they solved it before I even realized it was a problem. I would recommend them to anyone! -

I'm sooo happy I had my reception here. I love the convenient downtown location, and the proximity to various price ranging hotels for our out of town guests.
I worked with Diane, who was amazing. She was always easy to reach and got back to me quickly and with helpful advice. For event rentals I worked with Pat who also did a great job and was great about helping me stay in my budget.
There was a great variety of menu options, and we were able to find some great options that fit well within our budget.
Everything tasted great and looked beautiful and the reception could not have gone better!
My only one teeny-tiny complaint is that I wish they offered beverage package, as currently all drinks are priced based on comsumption which is a little scary when you are trying to keep within a budget. -

We worked with Holly at the KI for reception planning, catering services, and transportation. The KI center has a double-decker red bus that was brought over from London -- its fantastic. Holly was great about working with the transportation people to make sure the bus was where it needed to be at the right times --
The food and catering service people were great -- they catered both the pre-reception snacks (offsite) and the dinner (onsite) as well as a late-night snack at 10pm during the dance. We asked them to bring out leftover food at the end of the night for people to take in "to-go" boxes, which also went over great. No complaints at all!
Holly was great and super helpful planning the cocktail reception and drinks during the reception as well. We did a combination host/cash bar with certain drinks hosted and others cash. She was great in organizing this and everything went over amazingly well!

We had our reception at the Hyatt on Main. The Atrium was the perfect place to have our pre-reception with tons of natural lighting and an open space for guests to converse. The rooms are very clean and spacious, and the beds are comfortable. Angela, the events coordinator, was very responsive and timely to all of our questions during the planning/preparation time. Angela made herself available both Friday and Saturday of our wedding which was really nice to know we had her support and assistance if it was needed. We did run into some hotel room availability issues (due to multiple events in Green Bay the same night), but Angela did her best to make sure all of our guests had accommodations. The service of the staff the day of the wedding was exceptional, and the food was great. The hotel allows the wedding guests to have 4 adult food options, whereas most venues only allow 2-3. Everyone at the Hyatt made sure our wedding weekend went smoothly. -

It was a great place for all our guest to stay. The food was super good. The only thing that kinda bothered me was that there was another wedding that paided to use the lobby area for cocktails so there were a couple older confused guest for both weddings. Overall wonderful! -

Overall KI was great. Management their is fantastic and really willing to help wi whatever you need. They really cover everything you can think of. Food is decent. We couldn't have as large of a dance floor as we needed and couldn't use one of our strands of specialty lighting because of other parties at the same time but that was really the only major issue. Everything ran smoothly and I was able to be a calm bride thanks to KI! -

My husband and I had our wedding at the Hyatt Regency on June 2, 2018. Overall we had a very great experience working with the Hyatt staff and their wedding coordinator Kallie. As you can imagine being a bride you have lots of questions and want to stay connected as much as possible. Kallie was very responsive to answering questions and when she was out of the office, the staff assisting in her absence were just as responsive. Having such great responsiveness and communication help to keep our stress level non-existent! We only had a very few small things that didn't go as planned, but luckily was quickly rectified by Kallie and her staff. If we had to do our wedding all over again we wouldn't change a thing and would book the Hyatt Regency again in a flash! Thank you for making our wedding day one to remember! -

Beautiful place to have a wedding at the KI, and its so convenient that this hotel is attached. We had a ton of guests from Chicago to accommodate.
The bad: we had welcome bags that were supposed to be handed to each hotel guest at check in. The guests were checking in Saturday at 3pm. The bags weren't delivered until Sunday afternoon so we were pretty disappointed they didnt get them right away. We checked with the front desk on Saturday evening and they said the bags were getting delivered but they didnt.
They only had 2 bartenders at the start of cocktail hour and all our guests arrived at once and had to wait. Angela quickly responded by sending 2 more bartenders.
Good: rooms are spacious and the balconies /open floor plan is amazing. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was outstanding but they couldn't keep up with replenishment. Angela was great to work with and very friendly and responsive.
Overall, we would recommend the hyatt and go back again! -

Everything went well. But the center lost our cake knife and serving plate. Also boxes used to bring decorations were ripped apart making it difficult to reuse. However, planning, setting up, and the event itself went great without any hitches. -

Beautiful Wedding, Horrible Service
We started planning our wedding in 2019 with their coordinator, Deanna, and immediately recommended them to everyone because she was amazing and was always three steps ahead of us. The value of everything that we were able to get was amazing, with a beautiful ballroom. We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding twice, and during that time, Deanna moved and was replaced by the new coordinator. We had a few minor issues throughout the planning process that were brought up to him in the moment, but we never felt that our problems were truly being solved because he would just get defensive. All in all, the day turned out beautiful and we are very happy with it. Afterwards, we were sent an event survey in which we completed with some of our issues we wanted to discuss with someone besides the wedding coordinator, because we did not feel comfortable communicating with him further. In about two months, we never got any response from Hyatt, so I posted my reviews that I was holding for them to reply. The wedding coordinator immediately screenshotted my review and emailed it to my mother, saying that I should have talked to him first about my issues (which I did), and proceeded to list all of the things that he did for us. I responded very kindly and professionally stating the reasons why we didn't reach out to him, and further explaining our issues. He came back again even more defensive, saying that since I had rescheduled my wedding twice, I was just upset and wanted to get my wedding over with and that my wedding was not that important. He said that they had never received our survey, and that we got along better with the previous coordinator simply because of our age (we are 25 and 30). I'm not sure why he believes that arguing with me will fix anything, but I will continue to not recommend anyone working with the Hyatt while he is coordinating the weddings. -

The food that was served for dinner was very good. We had the chicken, roast sirloin, pork, vegetarian pasta and children's meals. We were able to get most of the food to take home from guests who did not show up, but they didn't box all of it up.
Angela, the event coordinator, was pretty easy to work with and get into contact with. She helped us lay out all of the details and brought up some things we would have never thought of.
There was an event the night before and we were unable to set up our room until noon on the day of our wedding. That was not going to work as our ceremony was at 1:30, so the KI offered to set it all up. I wrote detailed lists of what went on what table and wrote out instructions for everything. I even went as far as to put all place cards into individual baggies with labels and seating charts. They did some things correctly, but there were quite a few things that they didn't put out or didn't do how it was instructed. They also tore open all of our boxes that we had brought our center pieces and favors in so we were unable to use most of them to bring our things home. We also couldn't find them right away because they weren't where we were told they would be.
Dallas, the head of catering staff was not so great to work with. We asked that all the cake be served to our guests and any leftovers be boxed up and kept until the next morning and put out in our meeting room for the gift opening. Instead they kept putting cake out and gave multiple pieces to guest who didn't want it, so those pieces of our delicious cake were thrown out and wasted. He was also supposed to tell us when our late night snack pizzas were served and when they ran out in case we wanted to order more, but we weren't even told that they were serving them. At the end of the night he was not helpful and was short with me when we were looking for the boxes all of our items had been in.
We also never found our cake server and knife and when we asked for help finding them we were basically ignored.
The food was amazing and we had a lot of fun at our reception because we didn't find out about most of these things until the end of the night.
I would have reservations about recommending the KI to someone else, it would depend on how organized they were.
If we could have handled all of the set up of the favors and center pieces before I would have been a lot happier with that aspect. If the food wouldn't have been amazing we would have been disappointed with the catering due to the staff issues. -

I was disappointed with a lot of aspects of the KI Center service for our wedding, but generally was unable to do anything about them because of the timing and the situation.
Angela, the coordinator, was nice, but never seemed to get on the same page as we were. Despite emails and in-person conversations where we made it clear that we would not be ordering a meal but instead were going to have a dessert buffet, she told us one week before the wedding that without a food purchase she would be unable to schedule wait staff. Despite the fact that the advertising information they gave us that said there was no minimum food requirement, because we were only ordering fruit kabobs, punch, coffee, and all the alcohol from the KI, they charged us a $450 fee to cover their expenses. And because we were told this only a couple of days before the wedding, we were unable to do anything but pay their fee.
When we originally visited and booked this location, we were told that they would be replacing the carpeting in our ballroom. While they did replace it, they put down strips of thick carpeting that didn't meet at the seams, leaving wide white stripes. It was a real eyesore, but because we didn't see it until the morning of the wedding, we were unable to do anything but put up with it.
Like many places, the KI added 5% sales tax and 18% gratuity to the bill. Despite adding the portion to cover tips to our bill, the bartender still had a tip basket out. Because none of our guests knew that we were covering the tip, they were more than generous at our open bar in the tip basket, but we were unable to do anything about it.
Additionally, the price list they provided for the bar listed prices for a single and for a double. However, all the drinks we were charged for were doubles. Asking around later, we talked to no one in our group who asked for a double. So either we were charged improperly, or the bartender gave everyone doubles whether they asked for it or not. Again, we didn't find out about this until we received the bill later, and were unable to do anything about it.
So in general, I felt like the KI Convention Center took advantage of the fact that we were in a delicate situation, and gave us below average service for unequal cost. If you're going to use them, I suggest becoming a bridezilla to make sure this doesn't happen to you.

TERRIBLE! If Leslie is your assigned person, run!
They changed our point of contact without telling us to Leslie. She did not honor our contract and rented out part of our contracted wedding space to another party for their rehearsal without even telling us. I found out during our dinner that half of our designated space would be used for this rehearsal - I found out after they started taking all my stuff down and bringing in someone else’s. Not what a bride needs on her big day. I tried confronting Leslie and she blamed my husband saying that she mentioned it to him via email. I reviewed all emails and all she did was send us a revised copy of our contract, cutting back the time in our space which she did not mention and we did not agree to. There was no accountability whatsoever. The food was also terrible. I would never recommend this venue to anyone and if I could redo my wedding, I would have had it somewhere else -
