The Montford helped us host the rehearsal dinner for our wedding celebration, and we couldn't be happier with the turnout! Jennifer was beyond accommodating—even when we had to postpone things by a year due to COVID—and the event space itself is one of the best in Asheville for mountain views. There was plenty of room for our group of 40 people, and the farm-to-table menu was absolutely delicious—you must try their housemade tater tots! The bar is top-notch, from specialty cocktails to a fun wine list. 10/10 would recommend!

We worked with Katrina at the Hyatt/Montford for our elopement dinner and stay. She made the intimidating process of creating a menu so effortless! The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was wonderful, and the night ran smoothly! We rented out the rooftop bar for the night and our guests had so much fun! The makeup artist and hair stylist needed extra stools when we were getting ready, and the hotel staff quickly brought up the chairs. Overall, they were very accommodating and everything ran smoothly! Our guests loved their stay at the Hyatt! 5/5 would recommend the Hyatt/Montford for anyone looking for an intimate experience!!

We had a WONDERFUL experience booking a wedding block at the Hyatt Asheville. Katrina was very responsive and caught mistakes with reservations and made coordinating wedding events a breeze. Highly recommend. Rooms was huge and clean. Great overall experience. Beautiful views of mountains and great rooftop bar.

I cannot say enough about the hotel, the food, the service and the staff. Amazing from the time of planning until the big day! Thank you for making our day so perfect!

Katrina at the Hyatt made booking a hotel block for our wedding so easy! She was very responsive and cooperative with any question I had. Our guests LOVED the hotel - it's proximity to downtown, breakfast, and (of course) roof top bar. I would definitely book again and recommend to anyone

I was set on getting married with the mountains behind me. When we decided on December I knew it would be difficult to find a venue. I looked online and couldn't find anything that I wanted so I looked for restaurants and bars and this beautiful place just stayed with me. I was able to plan the whole thing from Winston Salem only visting once. The event coordinator and chief worked with me to create a seating plan and menu that fit my very picky needs. Also I had to do very little decorations because this venue was beyond gorgeous. They are super accommodating, I had to have the wedding on an even day so we chose Sunday the 2nd, the opened late so we could do the wedding. I really appreciate them making my day special and all my guests did too.

It's not open yet, but so far they have been great to work with. The location is perfect for our event.

We reserved a block of rooms for our wedding guests here and the process was seamless. We got an excellent discounted rate and our guests were pleased with the hotel. Everyone loved the rooftop bar and the amenities. My husband stayed in one of the block rooms the night before the wedding and said the views were amazing and the room was very spacious.

We also reserved an upgraded mountain-view suite to stay on our wedding night. Upon checking in to the room, we noticed it was not at all what we paid a premium for. The room was on a lower level of the hotel (no mountain view) in a cramped room with a pull-out couch. My husband went down to the front desk and they agreed that our room was not what we booked, but did not offer any solution. One employee asked my husband, "what do you expect me to do about it?" Our wedding day was a dream, but unfortunately our experience here put a damper on the night.

We have stayed here several times in the past and always had a good experience, so I'm not sure what happened. My hope is that in the future, special attention will be paid to guests who are celebrating a special event. No one should have to haggle with a hotel's front desk on their wedding night.
