We truly cannot recommend Natalia and huracan cafe enough. From the very first meeting, she was organized, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to life. Every detail, big and small, was handled with care and professionalism, which allowed us to actually enjoy the planning process and, most importantly, our wedding day.
On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly. Any potential issues were handled efficiently by her team, and we felt completely at ease knowing we were in such capable hands. Our decor was everything we wanted and our wedding at Huracan will be forever remembered by both us and our guests.
If you’re looking for someone who is experienced, calm under pressure, and truly passionate about what they do, Natalia is the wedding planner you want. We are incredibly grateful for her hard work and dedication.

Natalia literally turned my dream wedding into reality, she made my vision come to life! She was very patient and responsive every step of the way. She made planning a destination wedding easy. My decor was absolutely stunning, the food was amazing, the staff was pleasant and the dj was great! Every one of my guest complimented how amazing my wedding was. I am so appreciative of Natalia and her dedication to making sure I was 100% happy.

Natalia, Julie, and the entire team were absolutely amazing - so kind, fast responses, and put everything together so beautifully! The flowers were gorgeous, the food and drinks were amazing, I have no complaints and thought everything was 10/10! Even the Dj and MC were so great! Natalia actually ran home to grab a hairdryer for us while we were getting ready and had a slight emergency. Couldn’t recommend this team and venue enough! They went over every minor detail, made everyone comfortable and helped us and our guests have the best time ever!

We got married on May 9th, and from day one, Natalia and the entire Huracan Café team made the planning process feel easy, thoughtful, and low-stress. My wife and I took things one step at a time, and they guided us through every part with patience and care.

Any creative or outside the box idea we had, they found a way to make it work. From hotel bookings for our guests to organizing transportation, they handled every detail so we could focus on enjoying the experience.

Let’s talk about the location: it’s unreal. The beach is stunning, and we were lucky to have perfect weather. It was warm, sure it’s early May, but once the sun started setting around 7, the vibe was pure magic. The food was chef’s kiss and there are tons of options to customize the menu.

The décor was beautifully done, effortless, beachy, and exactly what we envisioned. Natalia and the team nailed every detail without us ever feeling overwhelmed. There were thoughtful little touches everywhere that made it feel personal and elevated.

And the music? As a DJ myself, I had high standards and I was seriously impressed. The DJ kept the energy just right from start to finish and had everyone dancing well into the night.

If you're looking for a venue that feels intimate, has a stunning beachfront, and comes with a team that truly knows how to make your vision happen, this is the place.

Our wedding was cancelled the week before and Natalia came to our rescue! We had the best ceremony and meal at Huracan Beach Club. The food, service, location was all so perfect and we couldn’t have wished for more! I would shout from the rooftops if I could, thank you ❤️

We were searching for venues in late 2023 when we found Huracan Cafe on WeddingWire and fell in love with the photos. Nati was very responsive and a true professional from the start. We were planning a smaller wedding and were looking for a more intimate and cozy space. We went with Huracan and were so glad we did! We communicated with Nati for months leading up to the wedding. She was very detail oriented, talented and had a sunny disposition throughout the planning process making the experience enjoyable and stress-free. She was extremely responsive, worked with our budget and gave us suggestions on how to make our day feel more intimate. Upon arriving to our tasting we were blown away by the bright, cozy and elegant venue, the delicious fresh food and drinks, and the outstanding service and bright smiles we received from Nati and the wonderful staff. The photos don’t do it justice. It completely exceeded our expectations! Huracan is absolutely stunning and we loved everything about it. On the day of our wedding Nati went above and beyond with the flowers, signs and the decor. She has a true gift! Our guest loved our intimate caterpillar table set up (which Nati suggested), the cake, the food and drinks (especially the pastelon, it was an absolute hit along with the chimis) and the crazy hour! Andrea, the MC, the DJ, the chef, bartender and waiters were all so lovely and welcoming. We had such a blast dancing under the moonlight. Thank you Huracán for taking good care of us all. We couldn’t be more grateful.

I honestly cannot emphasize how amazing Huracán and Natalia was for our wedding. She worked within our budget while also making sure our vision with the decor came to life in the most elegant and beautiful way. I can wholeheartedly say that there was nothing I would have personally changed as she managed to replicate our vision entirely. Not to mention the servers and the staff were friendly and always attentive to the guests. 10/10 on my experience.

Our wedding day was perfect thanks to Nati and our wedding planner Julie. Everything was exactly what we wanted. The decor and flowers were so beautiful. My husband was so impressed with Nati that she was able to take our vision and made everything perfect. I was on a tight budget and I'm so grateful that they were able to guide me with the budget and I was still able to get everything I wanted. Everyone loved the drinks and food. SOOO GOOD!
We had a small wedding, about 25 people. Planning a destination wedding was hard especially because I wasn't able to visit the location before hand. I also had never been to DR before the wedding. But I'm so grateful that Julie was able to help me with all my questions and constantly assured me that everything was going to be perfect. Thank you Nati and her team for a perfect day! When I started wedding planning for my destination wedding, I knew I wanted to blow our guests away. Nati and the team at the Huracan Cafe did exactly that!
Our wedding experience was dragged out with a few postponements thanks to covid (Original date.. Aug 2020 - postponed to Aug 2023). The entire time, Nati was so incredible and reassuring that our dream day WILL happen and she will do everything to make it come to life. She did not disappoint!

Nati took our vision and inspirational photos and made them come to life. She has an eye for design and is so passionate about making your wedding dreams come true. The decor was simple and elegant, just as we wanted. The staff were kind and so helpful throughout the entire day. Most importantly - the food and drinks were OUTSTANDING! When we arrived for our tasting we had a really difficult time choosing between what dishes we wanted for our wedding. Every drink and food item was a solid 10/10. Our guests could not stop raving about how incredible the food was - they were really upset we had to keep eating at our resort for the rest of the week after tasting how great the food was at the Huracan!!

Nati made sure our day was perfect, and she made us feel so at ease every step of the way. Any special requests we made she was able to follow through to make sure we were satisfied with the outcome for our big day.

Flowers, Food, Music and staff were all very accommodating. We had some weather mishap that they attended to very quickly that could have made our event a disaster but did not disrupt our wedding at all . Fire show and cold fire shows are a must !

Being from Arizona and getting married internationally I really appreciated how Nati was there for us throughout the entire time! Our families really enjoyed our wedding venue.

I don’t even think that I will be able to really express in words how much I loved my wedding and this venue.

But when I do think really hard of a word to describe my experience; I think of the word magical ✨.

I originally booked my wedding through the resort I was staying at and after months of awful service I looked online at private venues. That’s when I stumbled upon Huracan cafe. I met with Nati through WhatsApp and we talked and from the moment we started talking I knew this was the place for us.

I didn’t give Nati much time to prepare the wedding as we booked with her only a couple months away from the actual date.

And did she ever DELIVER. I think about my wedding all the time and how I wish I could go back in time and relive that moment forever. Not only did we love it but all of our guests were amazed with the venue and the food. It was by far the best food I had down south. And when my bridal party was getting ready there in the morning we had lunch and my mom said the pasta was the best pasta she had ever ate before.

I could go on and on about this place but let me tell you Nati and her team makes dreams happen. And I’m sad I only get married once because I would relive that day over and over again.

I recommend this venue over a resort a thousand times! I had originally booked a resort and chose Huracan instead because I wanted a more customized/personal experience that catered to me. It was the best decision I made from the start Nati and Julie made me feel comfortable, they worked around my budget and always reassured me when I was being a nervous wreck. Planning a destination wedding is hard because you never know what that outcome will be but trust me Huracan made my wedding a dream come true. The decor was stunning! All my guests loved the food and drinks & the in house dj and entertainment kept the party going all night long! If you’re looking for a dream wedding venue, stop looking. Huracan café was the most beautiful, amazing venue I could’ve wished for. And the service Nati provides was impeccable.

Nati and her team were so responsive. On the day of the wedding, they had absolutely everything under control so we could just relax. The decor was more than I could have dreamt of. Enjoyed every second! Would recommend Huracan Cafe to anyone!

Where to start?! Wow, what an amazing experience. My husband and I travelled to Punta Cana from Canada for our wedding with 45 others. There is absolutely nothing negative that I could possibly say about my experience with Huracan cafe. The service that myself, my husband and everyone that joined us for our wedding day received, was absolutely phenomenal. The staff was so accommodating, understanding and friendly. Julie and Nati were amazing to work with via email, and made the process seamless and easy to plan. I cannot even begin to explain how beautiful our wedding day was, it was everything and more that I had pictured. Nati really did an amazing job at brining my idea to life and blew it out of the park. Not to mention, the meal that we had was probably one of the best meals I have ever had, and we had multiple guests tell us that it was the best food that they had ever had at a wedding too! We did the Surf and Turf and HIGHLY recommend!! We could not recommend Huracan Cafe more and are so happy that we chose them! Thank you for everything! You are all amazing!!

Nati and the Huracan Wedding team at Huracan Cafe made every step of planning a wedding from Minnesota, United States absolutely a breeze with zero concerns of "what will it be like". They listened to what I was looking for and collaborated with me to make my dream visions come true. The visit with Nati a couple of days before the wedding was magical, the food for the taste testing was absolutely delightful. Come the wedding day, the entire team made us feel welcome while we got ready. I was able to sneak out and watch as the venue came to life with flowers. Nati and her teams talent is unmatched. I was blown away as was every single one of our guests. The flowers, the decor - and the FOOD was absolutely the best we've seen and ever had. We had a small wedding party but the Huracan Wedding team made us feel like it was a real party - the crew at the end of the night even joined in on the dancing and fun and really helped make the day special. Huracan Cafe provided our picturesque fairytale beach wedding. Everything was amazing from the staff, to the venue and decor and just as importantly, the food! We were able to have a unique experience and Nati and very team catered to any requests we had. We could not have asked for more, our wedding at this venue was everything we dreamed of!

My wedding planner Stephanie Feliz and Natalia gave my husband and I the wedding of my dreams. Everything was beyond perfect and the most beautiful beach in the background of all my photos. I chose them not only for the venue but also for the amazing food and decor. I now consider myself very fortunate to have them as dear friends. They went above and beyond to work with my budget and I can’t wait to go back and celebrate our anniversary.

Magical is the word I use most to describe our wedding at Huracan Cafe. If we could do it all over again there is not one thing we would change. From our 1st encounter with Stephanie, our wedding coordinator, I knew we were in good hands planning a destination wedding to somewhere we have never been. She helped with every little detail and managed to keep us within our budget. I was unsure of my vision and made a Pinterest board of some ideas that Nati and her team used to create the wedding of my dreams. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the venue was amazing and that beach...WOW!!! The crazy hour is a must!!! Their recommendations for vendors were on point!!! Our guest were in awe and are still saying it was one of the best weddings they have ever been too. I was married in Cap Cana on 6/30/18 using Huracan Cafe's entire wedding team. We had the very first wedding outside of Huracan, and Natalia Roldan who is the wedding planner for Huracan Cafe went above and beyond for us, giving us the wedding of our dreams. The decor was out of this world gorgeous, and so much love was poured into making our day wonderful.
The food was absolutely incredible. While getting ready the girls and I ordered lunch and had the club sandwich. It was the best club sandwich I've ever had in my life and crave it 'til this day! For our wedding, we had the Classic Cesar Salad, Penna Vodka with Seafood, Filet Mignon + Chicken Supreme. All the food was to die for and received nothing but great feedback from our guests.
We received many compliments from all of our guests. Overall we had a fantastic experience and would recommend the Huracan Wedding Team to anyone looking to have a dreamy destination wedding!

Huracan cafe made everything so easy. Everyone I worked with was always so helpful and prompt with any questions I had. I was blown away by the decor and the food was excellent. My guests said they will never forget our wedding night. Oh and the staff wait/bar/etc was sooo attentive.

I was married on July 21, 2017. Natalia was the only planner at the time and was simply amazing. From start to finish she took my vision and ran with it. We spoke via Skype, email and on WhatsApp and always made herself readily available for any questions I may have had.

She created a dream on my wedding day, from the personalized menus, to the stunning floral wall with our initials to the beautiful Mama Juana bottles that she personalized. Everything was just amazing.

She made my family feel like her family. They all had such an amazing time. They all spoke about the food, especially the gnocchi!

When we finally met at the tasting, It was like meeting your fairy godmother. My husband and I tasted every food and drink option. It was so hard to choose because all of the food options were amazing.

I could go on, but I will end it with stating that the venue and Natalia are two of the most amazing aspects of my wedding.

This place is nothing short of wonderful. You can completely trust Natalia’s professionalism and talent. Her assistant, Marian is so accommodating and caring. I couldn’t believe how beautiful the decorations were. The food was delicious, the drinks were awesome. The wait staff was very attentive and the MC has everyone laughing and having a great time. I can’t speak well enough of this place. I have two small boys so planning just wasn’t a priority but Natalia, Stephanie and Marian has everything covered. I have so much love for Cafe Huracan and their team. The venue is a dream since the back opens up to the beach and the breeze was amazing. Just absolutely beautiful.

Words can not express how grateful I am to the Huracan staff for giving me the wedding of our dreams. From the moment we met Nati back in 2017 I knew we were picking the perfect venue. Through out the process I spoke with Stephanie and she answered all my questions and went above and be on for me making sure my invoice was perfect after my million and one changes on my wedding vision. She also helped me with ideas and ways I could save money. She not only is one of my vendors but a dear friend now.

If you are considering getting married at Huracan Cafe, please don’t hesitate to do so!! We chose this off-site spot for our wedding after hearing so many wonderful reviews from the photographer we chose. We were not disappointed. Nati was above and beyond the greatest! With only speaking to us a couple times at the restaurant, once on Skype and a few times over email (we sent photos of what we wanted for inspiration), our wedding was EXACTLY what we wanted- down to the little details such as a gorgeous little bridal suite, a Penn State groom’s cake, a table with a photo of our dog, my parents’ napkin holders from their wedding on our table, in memory of signs on the chairs, etc. Nati was able to supply so many of the little things that I wanted, like frames and signs to make travel easier. I simply told her what my vision was and she nailed it! The flowers were insanely gorgeous. We were able to meet a few days in advance and choose everything from our welcome drinks to the appetizers and meals (the food was delicious). She even helped to incorporate shots for our guests, with liquor we brought, into the ceremony. Nati is one of the nicest people you’ll find. She helped us to find someone to conduct our wedding, a stylist for me, a DJ, and a group for our Crazy Hour as well. She handles all gratuities too (we just brought them in sealed envelopes) so that we didn’t have to worry about a thing at the end of the night. The other nice thing is how most costs were together and we didn’t have to worry about paying multiple vendors. Not one detail was overlooked and everyone worked together very well to make our day so special and FUN! People always talk about how stressful weddings are, but if you are a flexible person who doesn’t need to be in control of everything (and would rather not be, like me ;) then choosing Nati at Huracan Cafe is the best choice for your wedding!

The Huracan Cafe is the most beautiful venue and was recently renovated literally right after my wedding which made me so jealous of the brides who get to enjoy the new look. Not only does it have a stunning view but the food oh my the food!! Everyone just raved about how amazing the food was. We could not be any happier!! Their wedding coordinator Mayte Mari is the BEST, you cannot do better than her!! She puts so much passion and love into the smallest details, details you would never even think of!! It was the most amazing day, they do not disappoint!

Julie is amazing she will answer most of your questions and coordinate and communicate with Nati your wedding vision. Nati will bring your wedding to life! The drivers are amazing and on time. The servers OMG the best, they are so professional and sweet. Nati will meet you 2 days before your wedding to go over the wedding and do the food tasting. Pick menu 5 is you can, lobster is so good. Drinks are on point. The DJ was great! The photographer was amazing I loved our photos. I can’t thank them enough. Look no further because this is venue for you and your loved ones.

Amazing journey from beginning to the end! Nati is very patient! She is responsive to all needs of her customers.

We had a small wedding of 24 people (including the groom, Ian and I) and decided to privatize the wedding at an extra cost, which meant that the restaurant would not be open to the public on our day. We worked closely with the wedding planning team leading up to the wedding. This included completing a very detailed 17 page google slides document with specific details on every aspect of the wedding.

Natalia, the lead wedding planner was very professional and did a wonderful job with the flowers and decorations. However, she told us on the day of the wedding that she would be leaving at 4:45. Not to worry though—she was leaving us in the very capable hands of her assistant. Everything fell apart and seemed very disjointed and unorganized after she left. I hate to be critical, but it seemed like nothing went according to plan. It was the most stressful night of my entire adult life.

The first oversight may have been partially my fault because at every wedding I’ve ever been to, the DJ has announced everything so I assumed that this was standard and it was something I didn’t even think about. However, it was something that should’ve been clarified before the night of the wedding. We were lined up to come out and be introduced with the parents and bridal party and the planner’s assistant (I will refer to her as “A”) asked who would be doing the announcing. Hearing at that point that the DJ wouldn’t be doing the announcements and that he didn’t speak English, produced a lot of stress and confusion early on.

On the google doc, the groomsmen were supposed to come out to “It’s raining men”, but the DJ instead played “Rhyme Dust” which was my bridesmaids’ song. So when they came out, he just restarted the same song.

My husband, Ian’s mom wanted to make sure that the DJ had the song for the mother/son dance (also on the doc). He did not and she had to find it for him on his phone.

Crazy Hour was an option on the Google doc, but we decided ahead of time not to do it. As I was ordering a drink, “A” came up to me and told me there was no time for this because we needed to start crazy hour. I told her that we had not paid for crazy hour. She stated she would figure it out and walked away. She came back and told me that they were hired by accident and they were here so we would be getting it for free. Initially, I was concerned because we had not yet done the first dances and had only paid for the photographer until 9:30 so this would require us to pay her an additional hour. Although I was not expecting it, I got excited when I saw the Dominican Dancers in their costumes waiting in the bathroom. When I asked “A” when they were coming out, she said they had gone home because their hour was up. I really wish that someone would have just taken charge and told us what we needed to do to get the crazy hour started. This caused a lot of needless confusion and stress.

On the Google doc, we included a champagne tower. I made sure to ask about it at our tasting and the planner assured us that yes we would have that. There was no champagne at all, not even for a toast on our wedding night.

We also specified on the google doc that we wanted to dance the hora (hava nagila) immediately after Ian and I were introduced as man and wife. When it didn’t happen right away, I thought there was a plan and when it got to be almost the end of the night and still nothing, I asked “A” and it seemed like she forgot it was supposed to happen. She quickly got Ian and I seated in plastic chairs facing each other and gathered everyone around. I was quickly pulled away because the DJ didn’t know what the song was so me, my bridesmaid, and the photographer had to huddle to the side and try to find it on YouTube which proved to be harder than it sounds. This entire time, there was no music playing and everyone just had to stand around and wait.

Also on the google doc, was a beautiful welcome table with a photo guestbook and Polaroid camera. Per my emails and correspondence on WhatsApp with the planner, I was under the impression that there would be two signs: one small one and one large as well as additional floral arrangements and candles of different heights. I made sure to bring enough film for 120 photos, photo corners, Polaroid camera, and a personalized guest photo book. Those items were placed on a table in the back of the venue. The only additional item on the table was one teeny tiny floral arrangement (about an inch and a half in diameter) and no signs at all. Nobody knew that the camera was there or what to do. It was pretty late when I noticed the missing signs and decor on the table. Although my bridesmaids tried their best to tell everyone to take their picture and write a message, we only ended up with 3 messages in our custom guest book. This was a huge disappointment.

At some point, I was interrupted by a server while I was dancing to ask me if I needed a drink. I responded “Sure. Mojito please” and I was told no. My maid of honor mentioned that 30 minutes prior when she asked for a margarita, she was told “no more margaritas”. For the second hour of open bar, there were no more margarita ingredients and they were making only very basic drinks/shots. I don’t know how this happened at a bar where only about 20 people were drinking (3 of our guests don’t drink).

On our wedding day, it was my sister’s birthday. During the planning process, I requested that we do something special for her and the planner said that they would make her a cupcake and we could sing happy birthday to her. At almost the end of the night when I asked “A” when we would sing happy birthday to her, she again seemed taken off guard and stated she would figure it out. That was another big stressor for me because I imagined the whole day going by and my sister thinking I had forgotten her birthday. There was no cupcake and at one point, I saw a man behind the bar putting a candle in a croissant. With less than 15 minutes until the end of the night, they ended up putting a candle in a slice of our wedding cake. As the bride of such a small wedding, I feel like I should not have had to remind the people running things of so many important details throughout the night. I should’ve just been able to enjoy it.

After the official cake cutting, we were told that they would let us know when they had cut up and dished the rest of the cake, but they did not. Most of our guests did not even know that there was cake. At the end of the night, when I asked if they could put the cake in a box, I was told they didn’t have boxes because the kitchen was closed. We ended up taking the cake with us in a cardboard wine glass box. With all of the chaos, I didn’t eat any of my food all night, but thought I would be able to take it with me. Wrong— there were no boxes.. I don’t understand how nobody had a key to the kitchen.

I created beautiful place cards on large seashells which I painted with a gold trim and wrote each of our guests names on. Many people (including myself) planned on taking their seashell with them, but they were cleared and thrown away with the food which was another big disappointment.

During the tasting, Ian and I were told that after the open bar was over, we were welcome to stay and continue paying for drinks, but after the last song played, we were practically thrown out.

Overall, I felt like many of the important details were forgotten and had to be figured out in the moment. The rave reviews that I read did not match our experience at all.

When we returned to the United States, I wrote the wedding planner an email expressing my disappointment. 5 days later, she responded to my email stating that she did not forget about me, but that she was very busy and wanted to give my concerns her full attention. 8 days later, I sent a follow up email “I’m hoping that you find time to reply to my email soon”. It has now been nearly 2 1/2 weeks since my initial email and I have not received correspondence back.
