We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding than Hotel Saranac. From the moment we visited, we were captivated by the historic charm, warm atmosphere, and incredible staff. The hotel blends classic elegance with Adirondack charm in a way that creates such a unique and memorable setting.
The Grand Ballroom was absolutely stunning—elegant, spacious, and beautifully lit, creating the perfect backdrop for our dinner. Our guests were blown away by the ambiance and raved about the entire experience. The ceremony space was equally beautiful, and the surrounding Saranac Lake scenery made for incredible photo opportunities.
What truly set Hotel Saranac apart, though, was the service. The events team, Blake, Katie, and Kirstyn, were exceptional—organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day seamless and special. They handled every detail with care and helped bring our vision to life without any stress. Having the hotel’s accommodations right on-site also made things incredibly convenient for our guests, many of whom commented on how comfortable and beautiful their stay was.
We are so thankful to have chosen Hotel Saranac for our wedding day. It was everything we hoped for and more—timeless, intimate, and unforgettable. Highly recommend this gem in the heart of the Adirondacks! -

We had an INCREDIBLE WEDDING and overall experience. Blake was beyond helpful and accommodating. We felt supported by all staff and truly got to enjoy our day and celebration. Food was incredible, and they were very accommodating of any dietary restrictions. We stayed on site with all our guests and enjoyed the suites. My bridal party was able to get ready in the deluxe king suite easily. The suite allowed for a makeup artist and two hairstylist. The space is GORGEOUS! Our guests described it as the best wedding they have been to and the most beautiful space they have been in. If you are looking for a classic space, that provides simple elegance this is the place for you.

We got married at Hotel Saranac this past October and it was nothing short of magical. The ballroom and great hall are gorgeous and have such amazing character. The terrace overlooks part of town and is a beautiful location for a ceremony. Blake and Katie were kind and answered all my questions throughout the process. The day of event staff were helpful with a lot of small details I completely overlooked myself, especially setting up a beautiful dessert display. It was truly a perfect day, and we could not have chosen a better place to celebrate. -

We had the most incredible wedding this weekend at Hotel Saranac. The staff was so helpful and friendly the entire time that we were there. Our guests raved about the food and the craft cocktails. During the planning process, Blake was so communicative and helped guide us through all of the decision-making that needed to be done. He was a pleasure to work with and engaged with our wedding coordinator effortlessly in making sure nothing was overlooked. The hotel needed very little decor from us, as the historic beauty of the hotel is decoration enough. They even shoveled the terrace for us so that we could take beautiful photos in the snow before and during the reception. Everything was carefully planned out and executed perfectly. Our timeline was followed to a T and there were no lulls in service. Before and after the actual wedding the hotel provided us with welcome gifts, complimentary upgrades, and gave us any and all recommendations we and our guests needed for local spots in town. Blake & Katie made sure everything went off without a hitch, and I am so grateful to them that I had to do virtually nothing the week of the wedding. We really did have the most picturesque and smooth wedding weekend that we could have dreamed of! I highly recommend making Hotel Saranac your wedding venue. And yes, even in the winter! -

We had our wedding at the Hotel Saranac in December, and I cannot emphasize enough what a wonderful experience we had. The Great Hall and the Ballroom were a gorgeous backdrop for our vintage inspired wedding, and if you’re at all considering having a winter wedding, let me tell you how romantic it was getting married in front of the fireplace with the snow gently falling outside. Everything about that day was pure magic. I am so grateful to Blake Riggs and Katie Holvik and the entire team at the Hotel Saranac for helping turn our dreams into a reality. Blake, in particular, was instrumental in executing my vision, offered crucial advice, accommodated last minute changes, and was generally extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process. On the day of the wedding, I could relax knowing everything was in good hands. In addition to everything going off without a hitch, the food was delicious, the cocktails were flowing, and our guests had a wonderful time celebrating in a unique, historic hotel in the heart of the Adirondacks. We can’t wait to come back to visit. -

The Hotel Saranac, especially our go-to guy, Blake, were all delightful to work with in making our wedding vision come to life. The style and vibes of the hotel worked so well with hosting an elegant but intimate wedding. I highly recommend the autumn season, as the colour of the leaves made everything feel and look extra special. All the hotel staff were very professional and Blake worked well with our other vendors to execute our plan. Also, the food was spectacular, all our guests were raving about it. I can't recommend this venue enough if you are looking for an Adirondack wedding. -

The first time we visited Hotel Saranac, we knew instantly it was our dream wedding venue. Elegant yet historic, modern yet infused with Adirondack charm - it was the perfect destination to bring together our friends and family for our big day.
Blake Riggs and his team made the planning process seamless and stress-free. From helping us select menus for both our Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding Day to recommending vendors and assisting with day-of logistics, their guidance and support were invaluable.
Our wedding weekend truly felt like a fairytale come true. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about what an incredible time they had. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or team to bring our vision to life. -

Hotel Saranac has been a special place for me since I was a baby, so when it came time to choose our wedding venue, there was really no question, it had to be here. And I’m so glad we did. The experience was absolutely incredible from beginning to end.
The staff were beyond amazing. Every single person we worked with was kind, professional, and truly seemed to care about making our day perfect. They handled every detail with ease and made the entire planning process feel smooth and stress-free. On the day of, we felt so taken care of — we didn’t have to worry about a thing.
The food was outstanding. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about it — everything was delicious, beautifully plated, and far beyond typical “wedding food.” It honestly felt like dining at a five-star restaurant with all our favorite people.
The hotel itself has such timeless charm, and being able to celebrate our wedding in a place that’s been part of my life for so long made it even more meaningful. It felt like everything came full circle. The team at Hotel Saranac helped us create memories we’ll never forget.
If you’re thinking about getting married here, do it. You’ll be in the best hands, in one of the most beautiful and welcoming places in the Adirondacks.

The Team at Hotel Saranac -- Myra, Blake, and Chef Mike -- are simply the best! My husband and I are so glad we chose Hotel Saranac as our wedding venue. If we could do our wedding day over again (which we wish we could as we had our best day!) we would without a doubt choose Hotel Saranac over again! We had our rehearsal dinner, wedding day, and brunch at Hotel Saranac and the food, drinks, and decor were stellar for each event. Every detail we mentioned was executed better than we could have dreamed. They respond immediately and professionally with any question any and all questions we had while planning the event and on the day of! Elopement Package
My husband and I booked the "Premium Adirondack Elopement Package" with Hotel Saranac, and had 20 guests. It was the by far our best decision. Myra and Blake are a dream team and took most of the stress out of planning our intimate wedding. They were quick to provide suggestions and answer all of our questions. From the tasting through to our wedding weekend, the whole team was professional, gracious, and fun to work with. The food and drinks were also on point, and got rave reviews from our guests. One of a kind!
Myra and her team at Hotel Saranac are top tier when it comes to weddings! They all work very hard to ensure you have the best day possible. I would highly recommend that you book Hotel Saranac for your wedding because you will feel like you have a luxury wedding without the outrageous pricing, you will have a team that actually cares about you and they make the wedding planning process to much easier from their support. Not to mention the food is incredible. Our dinners were perfect and our guests couldn't stop raving about how good brunch was the next day! A standout figure in our remarkable journey was Myra, the dedicated wedding coordinator who orchestrated our daughter's special day with impeccable precision. We fell in love with Hotel Saranac when we visited in 2018 and five years later, we had an amazing wedding here! From the beginning, Myra was so helpful, kind, and professional - she made the planning process so easy and enjoyable, I truly wasn't even stressed about anything. Hotel Saranac provides just about everything you need and the staff are all incredibly helpful and professional, from the reception attendants to the bartenders and servers. Myra and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make sure our guests were happy and taken care of, and that everything looked/functioned the way we wanted. We were also pleasantly surprised with the pricing and everything that was included, allowing us to have a beautiful wedding in a special venue without going over our budget. I cannot say enough great things about Hotel Saranac, they are amazing! Just as some insight with my experience with the Hotel my wife and I had our wedding ceremony & reception both at the hotel on February 18th 2023. From the first visit we wanted Hotel Saranac to be our wedding venue and it was a wonderful experience from the start. Myra is truly amazing, and we cannot say enough how great it was working with her! Communication was always stellar and the willingness to work with us with all our unique ideas to incorporate into the reception was always welcomed and if not immediate having answers to our questions Myra would get a confirmation to our questions in hardly anytime at all! On the day of the wedding, we cannot think of anything that could have gone any better with the day of execution from Myra and her staff! The friendly service from all the staff was such a pleasurable experience and so many of our guests have given endless compliments about how wonderful the staff was at our wedding. Food and drinks were spot on from our tasting experience which was a huge relief for us both and the hotel was so accommodating to work with us with our custom meal and hors d’oeuvres selections. Our day was perfect, and we owe so much of it to Myra and all the Hotel Saranac team! If you are looking for a truly amazing wedding experience from a venue then look no further, Hotel Saranac is the place! When we booked Hotel Saranac, there was a different shapes coordinator in charge. We were frantic that we made the wrong decision because of poor case management. However, when Myra took over last year, everything changed! Myra and Blake were incredible. Always willing to answer calls and emails about the most miniscule things. Our wedding day was nothing short of perfect. The venue, the food, the staff- all amazing. All of our guests raved about our wedding and the venue. The Hotel Saranac was the perfect site for our wedding. It has a little bit of everything - outdoor space, views, historic value, lovely and comfortable suites, luxury without being ostentatious. Such a lovely venue for our welcome dinner!
Hotel Saranac was such a lovely venue to host our welcome dinner for our wedding weekend. We booked the grand ballroom for the event. We were a little worried about the space being a little big for our group but the staff helped add in some additional furniture to soften the space. We were given the space from 2PM - 10PM which allowed us time to set up earlier before going to our rehearsal and coming back for the event. All the tables, plates/silverwear, furniture, etc were set-up already before we arrived at 2:30PM to add our little pieces of decor. We chose the Hot Sara Buffet Ampersand Option which comes with: a leefy green salad with cucumbers, feta, craisins and a honey vinagrette, a choice a two entrees (we chose chicken piccata in a lemon caper sauce and Seared Salmon with maple, soy and ginger glaze) and three sides (we chose sautéed haricots verts, red bliss garlic mashed potatoes and Long Grain and wild rice pilaf. The buffet dinner also was served with dinner rolls and whipped butter and an assorted cookies and dessert bar display. Everything was delicious. Both entrees flavors were perfect. Everyone raved about the salmon. Blake, the venue coordinator, was so great throughout the whole process with any questions we had. We ended up using 4 tables with about 6 people at each and connected them all to make one long table. We are so happy with how everything turned out. Thank you to all the staff at hotel Saranac that supported our event. :) -
