  My wife and I were married on the rooftop of the Hotel on Rivington last summer in July. The venue is amazing! Great combination of indoor and classic rooftop New York with sweeping views of the city. The staff was fantastic. Daniel, hotel manager, and Anna, event coordinator, did a truly perfect job! We are from Texas and planned a destination wedding in NYC. It was challenging to say the least making plans from so far away but Anna made it look easy. She's a pro at planning events and had great contacts for everything we needed to make our day perfect. Day of.....everything was perfect and went off without a hitch. We had a few surprises like all weddings, including rain showers, which forced us to take the ceremony indoors. Anna and her staff handled it with ease. Within 10 minutes the ceremony was back on and before we knew it everyone was enjoying the amazing food and drinks! We could not say enough good things about the venue and staff. And the value was excellent for Manhattan.

  I completely recommend working with Anna Vagner and the team at the Hotel on Rivington. They offered great options (such as for the ceremony and food) and allowed for flexibility (audio, and deco) which allowed us to personalize many aspects of our event. Anna was super kind and just a phone call or email away and her team made setup and transitions look seamless. Together, they made it super easy for my hubby and I to focus on having fun and enjoying our friends and family on our wedding day. It was a success, thanks a million!

  Absolutely wonderful experience. Top notch professionalism all-around, quality food and venue, and special thanks to Anna for making this all happen. She is so ridiculously easy to work with and is super knowledgeable. Our guests could not believe how beautiful the space was at night - quite striking. Perfect place for a wedding or engagement party. Thank you!

  Anna made every effort to ease our anxieties and make the planning process very simple. The backdrop of the penthouse is truly unique and was really a hit with our guests!

  We had a great experience having our wedding reception at the penthouse at Hotel on Rivington. Anna was really helpful and everything went very smoothly start to finish. Location, sweeping city views, multi-level space and roof deck plus the relatively low minimum spend is why we close this venue. Also the hotel sleeping rooms were very nice and they gave us a great rate for our guests, despite our group being small.

  The space was wonderful for my daughter's Bridal Shower. The staff/servers were very responsive and on top of everything. The food was great! All in all an amazing experience.

Anna Vagner is the Director of Events and she is everything you want in this role including - professional, poised, knowledgeable, organized, energetic, and responsive! Our wedding was stunning and every detail came off perfectly. The venue has really unique views of New York City and the dining and hospitality spaces offer something different & unique. If you want to avoid the "typical wedding reception hall" this spot is for you! The restaurant, Cafe Medi, provided a sophisticated and exotic backdrop for our dinner. The Penthouse was amazing and perfect for cocktails and the after party. I will always remember the view the venue provided-- twinkling lights of NYC while you are celebrating the best night of your life. The beautiful decor in particular the tile work in Cafe Medi provided inspiration for many of the fantastic floral and decorational details at our event. The food was outstanding too. This place has it all!

  If you are looking for a non-traditional wedding venue with amazing views, this is it! The
  Penthouse is simply breathtaking, especially at night. Anna was amazing to work with. She was always very quick to respond to emails and any questions we had. Wish I could add some pics to my review!!

To celebrate our marriage with our NYC friends (we had a 12 person wedding in Palm Springs, CA the wedding before), we wanted a fun dance party in a super chic space and that's exactly what we got. Working with Anna to get everything arranged was great too. She was quick to respond and provided all of the information I needed. The night was perfect, despite a few night-of staff members that weren't the friendliest. But that shouldn't be a detterent - you should have your party here if you're looking for a really cool space for a downtown dance party. Value: the space and party were GREAT, but not cheap.
