In the search for the perfect venue my fiancé and I looked at over 26 possible locations from Homestead all the way up to Boca Ratón. Once we saw the Colonnade we searched no further. It’s an amazingly beautiful, historic, elegant, and well-located venue with the most unbelievable staff. Every single encounter we had from the valet to the servers, to the event coordinators were all exceptional. Their level of service and care to ensure a perfect event is executed was noteworthy even by our guests who commented that they had never received such good table service at a wedding before. The front desk and concierge was incredibly helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond at every encounter. The food was delicious and the quality of the wine and champagne was excellent. Although not a low-budget venue, every penny spent was well worth the money as the wedding was beyond anything we hoped for or imagined.

I cannot say enough on how beautiful this venue was. This was always y dream venue and Shelley made it happen for me. My original wedding venue cancelled on me 3 months prior to my date and I went the same day to see the Colonnade and Shelley greeted me with open arms. She made everything so easy and seamless and answered any questions I have. She made sure everything ran smoothly and was super supportive of us. The venue itself is amazing and unique but the staff made it that much better. Working with Shelley & The Colonnade really was the dream. Everyone raved about the Hors D’oeuvre's and entrees and the signature drinks were delicious. It truly was amazing!

We got off to a bit of a rough start with the Colonnade in the early stages of our wedding planning. They gave away our wedding date to another couple after having promised it to us. The date blunder caused a lot of unnecessary stress, rearranging and re-booking other vendors, tears, and delays in planning. However, we were obsessed with the look of the venue and everything they had to offer, so we wanted to stick it out. Patricia ensured us that we wouldn’t regret it and that they’d be sure to make up for it. Fortunately, that’s exactly what happened. Everything after that was INCREDIBLE. The food was the best I’ve ever had at a wedding, and there was A LOT of it. Also, my husband and I are wine snobs and their house wine and champagne are actually amazing. Our tasting with our family, every single tiny detail leading up to the day of and on the day of our wedding, was executed flawlessly and with exceptional customer service. They allowed us to do specialty his and hers cocktails, and we added late night bites as well, which were both a fun treat that all our guests enjoyed. They also partner with excellent vendors who all have years of experience with weddings there, so the set up and teamwork among vendors was so smooth. I will say we had a few small difficulties with our room block, but anytime I called Lyn Perdono or Kathleen Bravo they were so kind and helpful and fixed any issue or request of mine right away. In our personal opinion the Hotel Colonnade is without a doubt the most stunning wedding venue in Miami, especially if you want an inside wedding like we did, because… Florida. The customer service was unparalleled. And as the bride and groom, while we stayed at the hotel the majority of the week of the wedding, they treated us like royalty. No employee would let us pass by without introducing themselves, congratulating us, and asking what they could do for us. Additionally, on Sunday after the wedding, my husband and I took forever to check out of our suite due to the fun chaos of the weekend, and the Colonnade was unbelievably patient with us and so helpful and accommodating, I don’t think we managed to get all our stuff out until after 3pm. I would highly recommend anyone to book their wedding reception here, you won’t regret it.

My wedding was this Saturday April 13th at the Hotel Colonnade. Patricia went above and beyond to help me stay in my budget and be able to achieve my perfect wedding. The attention to detail, the staff at the hotel was beyond excellent. We had half of our guests coming from Mexico City and the other traveling all over the US. The hotel made all of us truly feel relaxed and happy, every request we had there was never a no. I would do it all over again in a heart beat; we have been to many hotels in Miami but the Colonnade is exceptional. Thank you so much for everything.

Hotel Colonnade was the most perfect venue and I’m so glad my wedding day was spent here! Patricia was beyond helpful and so sweet during our entire planning process. This was the first wedding in our family so we had tons of questions, and she was so patience and helped answered every single one of them. The venue is so gorgeous and my guests have no stopped complimenting how amazing it was! It’s so convenient especially if you have out of town guests even it’s a hotel. What sold me on this venue was the room itself (rotunda) is so unique that there really isn’t another venue like it. It fit our entire family and friends (155) comfortably! If you are looking for a unique indoor venue in Miami I highly recommend this one!

We had our wedding at hotel Colonnade and it was beautiful! Patricia, the coordinator at Hotel Colonnade, was wonderful to work with!! I met with her a few times and other times by phone or email, and she was at the wedding to make sure everything was going well. She answered all my questions and helped me plan the wedding of my dreams! I originally wanted an outdoor reception on the terrace but she put my mind at ease by having a backup plan available inside in case of rain. I ended up doing it inside and was so glad I did! It looked so romantic, cozy and beautiful! It was perfect! The food was delicious. The cake tasting was also a nice experience and the chef and waiter were great! The bridal suite was spectacular and we loved the note patricia left us in the room with champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries! It's all in the details. The venue and service was excellent!!

Patricia and the Colonnade were simply incredible. I have to be honest, Patricia really worked very hard to make sure every detail of our wedding was perfect. We had a small mishap, however Patricia took care of it immediately - no questions asked. This ladies and gentleman is what it means to be a true professional in this industry. I thank her and the staff from the bottom of my heart. My guests, my wife and I had an amazing time. They helped make every detail as perfect as possible. I would highly recommend the Colonnade and of course Patricia to whomever.

I could not be more happy with how everything turned out with my wedding. Not only was the reception beautiful but everyone made sure everything was execute perfectly. I worked with Patricia and she was amazing. She helped with every aspect of the receptions. Patricia has a lot of experience with the wedding scene in Miami and was able to suggest wonderful venders. She is great at what she does, if you book at the Colonnade make sure she is your contact! All of the guests were very impressed with the hotel. It's been recently renovated and the upgrades make this historic hotel very chic. The hotel rooms are beautiful and also reasonably prices. Almost all of our guests stayed at the hotel and had nothing by praises about the quality of the rooms and service. I highly recommend this venue for weddings!

Our wedding at the Hotel Colonnade was absolutely perfect all thanks to Patricia and her team. The Rotunda room is breath taking and wowed all of our guests. The new design of the hotel is so unique and everyone was impressed. I definitely recommend checking it out for your wedding!

The Westin Colonnade is the most beautiful venue! It will definitely make you feel like a fairy tale wedding! The food is exceptional and the service incredible! The catering team is the best!
Our wedding came out better then we expected!! The only issue we had was checking into our suite that was booked a year in advance. The room was not ready when it was promised and they were trying to put us in another room. For the bride on the day of her wedding while trying to get ready having this issue is definitely unacceptable considering the amount of planning and how in advance the room was booked. That was definitely not a good experience. Other then that when it comes to the details of the wedding everything was beautiful! Food delicious!

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING VENUE! Everything about the Westin Colonnade was a dream. We had a great experience and could not have been any happier with the way everything turned out. It is safe to say The Westin Colonnade has the best food when it comes to weddings. I would do it all over again. We were lucky enough to work with Patricia, and she is by far the BEST to work with. The entire team is friendly, helpful and efficient. This place does not need much decor to make it look beautiful. My husband and I are content with the experience.

I had a phenomenal experience with the Westin Colonnade. I worked with Patricia to plan my wedding - she was a true pleasure to work with. We held our reception in the Merrick Ballroom, rather than the more popular Rotunda Ballroom. This was the right choice for us because it was a bit cozier and was the right size for our guest count of 140. Patricia was able to work within our budget and still provide an exceptional level of quality and service. We tailored our package to fit our needs and our budget. The night before the wedding and the wedding night we stayed in the presidential suite which is 2 stories and has a ton of room for getting ready with family and bridesmaids. The food at the reception was AMAZING. We served the churrasco and it was the best I have ever had. Additionally, the service was exceptional. The staff catered to my every need and did so in the nicest, sweetest way possible. I truly felt taken care of. Overall the event was amazing and I wouldn't change a single thing about my experience with the Westin. It exceeded my expectations.

First and foremost, the venue is beautiful! It didn't require a lot of decor because it's breath-taking. I worked primarily with Patricia. She was everything! Very nice, very understanding to my needs, easy to contact, very knowledgeable, most importantly, she was there from the moment I signed the contract to my wedding reception, a year and a half later. Many of my guests were traveling and stayed at the hotel. We loved our rooms. We had standard rooms, townhouse rooms, and the presidential suite. Jose, the concierge, hotel staff, and dining staff were phenomenal. Every one of our needs was addressed, timely and appropriately. The food was fantastic! It was even better the day of my wedding than it was at the tasting. Not to mention, the tasting was awesome too. It was event within itself, literally. After I selected my dress, the most important selection was the venue, and The Westin Colonnade Coral Gables did not disappoint me. Our wedding was grand and beautiful. My entrance was fit for a princess. One day, I hope to plan my daughter's wedding at The Westin Colonnade.

My mother is one of the hardest people to please and she was so amazed about the food and service. Patricia was truly "AMAZING". She worked tirelessly to make sure that every detail of my wedding was perfect. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and always greeted us and every piece of the wedding process with a huge smile on her face. I cannot say enough good things about the Westin Colonnade. Patricia was so easy to work with and always accommodated us according to our wishes! She and her team made sure our wedding weekend was as smooth as possible. I never worried about anything. The food was amazing and the staff was so nice! I can't wait to go back to the beautiful place I got married to visit everyone there!

Two months before our wedding, we received the news that would make any bride freak. Our venue could not hold our wedding reception there anymore due to delays to their renovations. As a result, my venue was moved to the Westin Colonnade. I had the pleasure to work with Patricia who made this impossible situation a positive experience. My husband and I are so grateful to have met and had our wedding at the Westin. Despite the set back of having to change our venue, Patricia made the process streamless and very positive. Our wedding recently passed and it was perfect! I would not change anything about it. The service and the food at the Westin was excellent. If I had to do it all again, I wouldn't change a thing! Best wedding venue in South Florida!!! From the moment we stepped into the Colonnade we knew that was our wedding venue! The rotunda it’s not only spectacular but it is also classical and elegant. The day of our wedding was incredible thanks to the Westin staff!!! The food was delicious and warm (that was very important for me) all the guest commented on the wonderful food and the beautiful space. Yet, to us the most important thing was the wonderful costumer service from the waiters, bartenders to Patricia (she is just amazing) everyone was so great, they treated us with so much love and really made sure that the day was spectacular for us. We had a private waiter that really made sure we had everything we needed she was incredible!!! The Westin is truly a wonderful venue!!!!

While working with Patricia at the Westin we were able to make our wedding reception amazing. She was very helpful in suggestion vendors and idea to make the night flow smoothly and without any hiccups. The whole staff at the Westin was very nice and willing to help with anything we needed. We brought in our favorite vendors and of course
my company decorated this beautiful location, it was
breathtaking. The staff and food were great the day of our
wedding everything was spectacular. Patricia was right there next to us

Beautiful wedding location!! We had both our ceremony and reception and the Colonnade and it was amazing. Patricia and all the staff were helpful in accommodating to any request. I would highly recommend adding the draping to the rotunda, it adds warmth and romance to the room. The wedding packages seem steep at first, but it includes EVERYTHING and is actually a great deal for the amount you get. The food was exceptional, service was unmatched and the venue was perfect!

The Westin really provided a dream wedding for my husband and I. That Rotunda is just beautiful. The staff was great and Glenn was very flexible and helpful with all of my requests and changes. They were extremely accommodating and professional. The food was delicious and everyone loved the steak (it was better at the wedding then the day of the food tasting). I cannot be happier with how everything turned out.

I just had my wedding here a week ago and everything was very professionally handled throughout the whole year of planning. Not only is the venue beautiful, the people we dealt with this whole year have been extra patient, accommodating, and wonderful with us. The venue is a bit pricey but totally worth every penny!! I would do my wedding here all over again if I could.

We had our wedding there on Valentines Day 2014 and I must say this hotel exceeded our expectations by far. We planned this wedding for over a year, and Patricia and her staff has been there to guide us every step of the way. Also, the hotel staff was very attentive to me and my guests the day before and the day of the wedding and really catered to our needs. I felt like a princess during my stay. I just got married this past Saturday and needed to write how outstanding everything was immediately. Hands down, the best experience I could have ever imagined for my wedding!!
Patricia, who does sales for catering and also was our main coordinator, was so wonderful to work with and so easy to get a hold of and communicate with. She was flexible and open-minded to any changes or wishes I had and truly put me and my family first to make sure we got what we wanted! She assured us throughout the entire planning process that she would do whatever she could to make the day perfect and she absolutely delivered! She was always helpful with advice and suggestions and honest with us if some of our decisions were not in our best interest.
Harold, the captain, was phenomenal! I was worried about my guests seeing me in my dress before the ceremony and he showed up at my room to escort me out through a back employee exit/service elevator so the limo could pick me up to go off-site for photos. He was so accommodating throughout the entire weekend for all my guests and made sure everything was running smoothly and perfectly!
Thomas, the head chef, was attentive to our requests and wishes during the food tasting and was absolutely fantastic with special requests or needs we had for certain guests. He personally came to the bridal suite to deliver champagne (upgraded to Dom Perignon!) and chocolate mousse for all the bridesmaids while we were getting ready. He assured all the food was outstanding- and let me tell you, both presentation and taste were incredible!
Roxana, at concierge, was so reliable to make sure we had all of our guests receive the block rate and to ensure they all received the welcome bags we left for them. She was so easy to get in touch with and coordinated back and forth with us for constant changes

I could not have picked a better place for my wedding venue! Everyone is still talking about how grand the rotunda is how magical it felt. Not only was it beautiful but Patricia the wedding coordinator is amazing to deal with. She guided me through every step of the day and the day of she was a life saver. She went above and beyond to make my day go flawlessly. She even helped my maid of honor bustle my dress and she fixed my hair minutes before the grand entrance into the reception. These are things that are not part of her job but she goes above and beyond to make sure the bride has an unforgettable night! I recently got married at the Westin Colonnade and it was literally the wedding of my dreams. I specifically worked with Patricia and her team and they were amazing. My wedding could not have gone any smoother and all I received were compliments about the venue, from the beautiful rotunda room to the delicious food. Patricia was even there to keep me calm before walking those terrifying stairs! It was actually a lot easier than I thought. What I loved most about this venue was having the ceremony and reception in one place followed by hotel rooms for the guest so there is no drinking and driving. We had our wedding reception was at the Westin Colonnade in the Rotunda! the most beautiful venue in Miami! My husband and I fell in love with it the moment we saw it. We went to see so many other venues and they just didnt compare. We worked with Melinda! Melinda is such a sweetheart and was such a pleasure to work with from day one! We live in Atlanta so a lot of our planning was done via email, fax and mail. They made it so easy for us! The food and service was amazing! Our guest cant stop talking about how beautiful it was and how professional the staff was. I truly could not be more happy with the service I received from Patricia and all of the staff at the Westin Colonnade. My wedding was absolutely perfect, and almost more importantly, I was very confident throughout the planning process that everything would go exactly as planned due to the high degree of knowledge, professionalism, and personal attention from every single person I worked with at the Westin Colonnade. Patricia was a huge asset with her great advice and wealth of knowledge. I received wonderful compliments from my wedding guests about the service from the waiters and other staff, how beautiful the hotel, ballroom, and accommodations were, and the delicious food. The Westin's prices are also very reasonable for such a beautiful, classy Coral Gables hotel compared to the other options in the area, and they have several different packages and will work with you to meet your needs within your budget. The Westin Colonnade is an exceptional wedding venue, and I highly recommend it.

Having our ceremony (in the Galleria) and reception (in the Rotunda) at the Westin Colonnade in Coral Gables worked out great. Patricia, the Social Catering Manager, helped us every step of the way. She replied to every e-mail we sent her, no matter how trivial our questions were, and was available when we needed to meet with her in person. Her recommendations of vendors were always correct, she is an expert in the wedding industry. She made sure our wedding went exactly how we wanted it. She was even there during our wedding to make sure we were happy and everything was going the way it was planned.

Our wedding package included staying in the Bridal Suite the night of our wedding. This is a two story suite that is just stunning. They even had champagne and strawberries when we walked in to the suite after the reception and free breakfast served in our suite the next morning. We also blocked out rooms for our guests at the hotel, which gave them the opportunity to stay at the hotel for a reduced nightly rate. A lot of our guests took advantage of this since they could get ready at the hotel, attend the ceremony and reception, then just go back to their room (no driving involved).

The food and service were great! All our guests raved about how good everything was. We highly recommend choosing the kobe beef sliders as hors d'oeuvers during your cocktail hour, they are delicious. The only thing we regret from our wedding is that we didn't eat more of them :).

Overall, this is one of the best venues in Miami. The Rotunda is very unique and beautiful. The service and food are outstanding. We definitely got the most value out of our wedding budget by choosing the Westin Colonnade as our ceremony and reception venue.

The Westin Colonnade makes the most amazing venue. We had our ceremony in the Galleria followed by the cocktail hour in the upper Rotunda and the reception in the lower Rotunda. The bride made her first appearance at the top of the stairs during the ceremony and it made an awesome entrance.
We also had the drapes hung in the Rotunda and had the fountain turned on during the reception. It was beautiful.

The staff was outstanding and very attentive!! We offered three options for dinner; a chicken, beef and veggie option and all the food was excellent. We went with all white raised, rose textured, table cloths, silver chairs with white seat cushions, and silver chargers.

We choose high table arrangements due to the height of the room and it was perfect. Our arrangements were about 4 feet tall.

I was told after the wedding that it was like being in a fairy tale. What a perfect description.

AMAZING!!!! Patricia and her Team were Phenomenal the catering team was outstanding very caring there was never a watered down drink in mine and my husbands hand, I never had to go up to the bar cause my drinks kept on coming and I was able to enjoy the wedding. Patricia thanks for touching up my lip gloss and calming me down before walking down those frightening stairs. Patricia was very helpful in ensuring we got the best additions to the wedding and stay in our budget. The "Something Blue" signature drink was glowing and TASTY! if you want a signature drink i highly recommend it! My only complaint was during the ceremony you can hear people upstairs being loud as there was another wedding getting ready there. aside from that keeping guests away from the venue was great!

WOW! Where to start?! I began working with Patricia literally a year ago and the closer we got to the date the more helpful and life-saving she got! We had our reception in the Rotunda and it was everything we could have hoped for. Ivette was amazing throughout the whole process. She was always quick to reply to my emails and call back. The day of our captain was Jose and he was fantastic. The hotel staff was also great. Our guest kept raving about how helpful everyone was. The Westin Colonnade and the staff is absolutely the best.

Working with Ivette from the WC was the best thing while I was planning my wedding. She only knows all the struggles I had and ONLY she was able to make my wedding day as special as it was. Thanks to her and her team for such an amazing NIGHT! Most of all thanks Ivette for listening.

Food was phenomenal!! Laura Burgess, Director of Catering, was the best. Everything was done with quality, professionalism, and always very accommodating. The only thing I didn't like was the Bridal Suite. This room needs an overhaul! Otherwise, everyone was very nice. The Rotunda area was incredible and the hotel lighting (additional cost) was beautiful!

This hotel was fantastic!! The rotunda made for a dram wedding! The band was hard to hear from he back of the room but I was worth it!

The Colonnade made my fairytale come true!!!! I felt like a princess. I had ceremony and reception there. The service was wonderful, not one complaint!!!!! I wouldn't change a thing and don't regret spending not a single cent!!!! LOVED every minute of it!!!!

My reception far exceeded any of my expectations! The venue was stunning and the food was amazing! Ivette is amazing to work with and she made everything so enjoyable! She was so attentive and accommodating and definitely worked with us a lot to make sure that I got the wedding of my dreams!

Laura and Ivette really helped me step by step through out the event and the process of planning the wedding. I couldnt imagined having my reception anywere alse. The food was very tasty and they use the most proffesional vendors.

We had our ceremony in the Merrick Ballroom and the reception in the Rotunda! It was beautiful! The rotunda is one of a kind and if you're one of those "I don't want a traditional ballroom" kind of person (like me) this is perfect! The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. Ivette was wonderful! The food is delicious! You have to get the lobster bisque...by far the best.

The place is gorgeous, the round room is the best and it's very different than ur traditional location. I had my ceremony and reception here and let me tell you I went to so many places and none stood out like the Omni did. I understand that now it's the Westin Coral Gables so I don;t know if the services or staff is the same so I will update this information if necessary. They were great at helping me put my ideas together and helping with last minute details while I was finishing getting ready she was making sure that everything was set up the way we discussed and she did it all herself personally to make sure it got done the way I wanted. I went downstairs to check it out before everything got started and before anyone was there of course and she had everything under control, I felt reassured that she was doing it the way we had discussed and was able to get ready for my big day without having to worry about my reception being messed up. They gave me a list of preferred vendors they use all the time and I got all my vendors from their recomendations after extensively checking out vendors i searched of my own.

I booked my venue a few months ago and I must say Patricia was amazing she was able to go above and beyond for us to make it happen! I'm excited to see how the wedding comes out next year!

The Colonnade Rotunda is an amazing place to have a wedding. Somewhat pricey, but the Colonnade was the only venue both my husband and I agreed upon as our top choice out of over 20 venues we visited. We chose the Galleria for the ceremony and Rotunda for the reception because it was beautiful, elegant, and historic. Every guest was in awe of how beautiful everything was and it took very little decorating. The venue itself is ornate. We felt our venue was everything we wanted it to be. Very impressive. We really liked Patricia. She was great to work with. Very inviting and professional. She helped us with everything we needed. Our guests had rave revues about our wedding because of its elegance and superb food.

I had my wedding reception in the Rotunda and it was beautiful! The package they offer include SO MANY things it was well worth the money. If that wasn't enough the food was AMAZING!! We had chicken and the beef and it was far from being the normal boring tasteless chicken you normally find at weddings. It was so delicious guests still talk about the food and not to mention to open bar!! Melinda was great making sure everything was ready for our big day and the day of event coordinator made sure everything ran smoothly. We had personal waiters that would serve us food and fill up our glasses on a regular basis. This was THE BEST place to have our wedding reception!

The Westin Colonnade was the perfect choice for our wedding! We visited several top venues in the Coral Gables and Key Bacayne neighborhoods in Miami, and the Rotunda at the Westin Colonnade ranked superior by far!! We loved the beautiful hotel accommodations and proximity to the airport for our out of town guests. The Westin was also very close to the church where the ceremony took place. Most importantly, the venue was amazing, the food was delicious and Patricia, the events coordinator, was a pleasure to work with. We completely customized our menu, and instead of the chef and kitchen staff giving us a hard time, they were so excited to try something new. Our guests couldn't stop taking about the hotel, venue space, and food!! We also had a welcome reception the night before the wedding for our out of town guests, and the cocktails and appetizers were delicious. I loved every aspect of our wedding at the Westin Colonnade!!

What an amazing venue. There were a few hiccups that occurred during the ceremony (music volume fluctuated during one song and the mic didn't work), but that may have been due to the DJ and not the venue itself. But otherwise? AMAZING. The venue itself is so picturesque that it stole my thunder in my pictures :). And the food is incredible. I got nonstop compliments on both the hors d'oeuvres and the entrees, not to mention the pure aesthetic beauty of the Rotunda. Glenn was a pleasure to work with and made sure to include whatever extras were necessary to make my day go smoothly. I cannot thank he and the rest of the fine staff at the Westin enough for helping to make my vision a reality and I will forever be grateful for their assistance! Don't hesitate to get married here! It was the best decision I ever made.

Melinda was the hands down BEST wedding coordinator ever! She helped us with everything and made our wedding an absolute dream come true!! She was very responsive and aware of all my needs (food allergies etc.) and took into consideration all of our wants and requests. The chef was great, the venue was amazing, and everyone had the best time! I would do it all over again a million times! Thanks so much Melinda-you are the best!

From the moment I scheduled the first appointment to see the venue, Patricia was the sweetest person to work with. She was always very kind and professional. She was great throughout the 11 months that we planned our wedding. I had my reception at the Colonnade Ballroom since it was a smaller wedding. The food was great and everyone was awesome the day of, always making sure that my husband and I were enjoying ourselves. If you choose to go see this venue, ask to work with Patricia.

I didn't want my reception at a hotel, but the second I saw the rotunda, I was sold. The room
is beyond gorgeous. It doesn't have that hotel ballroom feel, but you get all the perks of a hotel reception. The staff was super attentive and made sure that we were taken care of. Even when they had closed the bar, the captain went back to get me and my dad one last drink. They also noticed that I hadn't had a chance to eat my dinner so they packed it up and had it waiting for me in our bridal suite along with champagne, strawberries and a meal for my husband who definitely had finished his meal. The whole night was perfect and I'm so glad I chose the colonnade for our wedding!

Only a couple half stars because of the high service charge/gratuity inclusion on almost everything at the hotel. But the price we paid for the venue we got was ABSOLUTELY UNBEATABLE. All of my guests were stunned by how gorgeous the Gallery & Rotunda were. Shirley was very professional, informative, and she even managed to get me a quick glass of wine the minute before I made the walk down The Stairs;). Everything was so beautiful, the service was great and the food was DELICIOUS. I'm proud to be able to look at our wedding photographs for years to come with this gorgeous venue as the backdrop. Could not have been happier!!

My reception was at the Rotunda. The place speaks for itself. Everyone was very professional. Food was great. Excellent service. Jose was our captain and he was very professional and courteous.

We had our ceremony and reception at the Westin Colonnade. The ceremony and cocktail hour were in the pool terrace at sunset. The reception was in the Merrick ballroom. The service and professionalism from the staff and Ivette, the coordinator, was excellent. They were very accommodating and the food was great! Our guests were extremely happy and so were we!

We had our ceremony and reception at the Westin and everything came out amazing. Initially we worried that things might go array since we went through three catering managers since October however, each catering manager we worked with was very helpful and did a good job at making our day special. We had several out of town guests stay at the hotel and they all were beyond pleased with the rate and the quality of the rooms. The staff was so friendly and did their best to accommodate our every need. The architecture of the hotel is beautiful and our photographer was able to get some beautiful pictures worthy of a bridal magazine. The rotunda is not the only pretty part of this hotel! There are beautiful grand staircases and large windows with views of Miami with amazing natural light. As a part of our package we received our choice of quality linens, cake, open bar and a delicious three course meal. We were able to provide our guest with a steak, chicken and vegetarian option for dinner.There were no complaints about the food and the viennese displays we added onto our package were a hit. Our wedding was in the colonnade ballroom and once it was decorated and provided with uplighting the room was gorgeous. It was just the right size for our wedding party and everyone was comfortable and enjoyed themselves. The Westin and all of our vendors did such a great job that family and friend have requested that we have another event at the Westin because the experience was that great.

Patricia and her team were excellent- they were responsive with our questions and really worked with us from beginning to end. On the day of the wedding we felt absolutely pampered! The team at the Westin helped us coordinate the wedding of our dreams- they made sure we were fed right before entering the reception and even helped me with the bustle of my dress! Our wedding suite for the night was gorgeous- decked out in rose petals and with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us! It's those small details that at the end of the day matter the most and we felt that the whole night was perfect. 5 stars!

Working with the Colonnade was an absolute dream! I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of the event. The food was delicious and the service was great. They were very prompt and ran completely on schedule. I am very happy with the service!

Patricia, Ian and the entire staff of Hotel Colonnade made our dreams come true. With a wedding in the height of summer in Florida, we had to make sure everything was comfortable and indoors. Patricia listened to every idea and question we had, offered her own suggestions based on her deep experience, connected us with experts, and helped us create a weekend that went beyond our wildest dreams. We were a little unconventional in terms of dinner, and had the room set up as a cocktail lounge rather than a ballroom with seated rounds. Rather than plated appetizer/entrees, we had stations located around the rotunda where guests could pick what and when they wanted to eat so we could keep the party going all night long. Patricia and Chef worked with us to turn this vision into a reality. The Rotunda room itself is stunning and the staff made it even more beautiful with string lights and the most spectacular amber lighting - it exceeded my expectations and delivered the exact feeling I was looking for. Everything from guestroom accommodations to ceremony and reception and everything in between went off without a hitch - I can't recommend this hotel and its staff enough! Thank you for giving us the celebration of a lifetime!

I absolutely loved the Westin Colonnade. We had our reception in the Merrick Ballroom, and it was perfect for about 150 guests. The room was intimate and beautiful. The food was spectacular and the service was great! We were really happy with this location.

My husband and I got married at the Colonnade in October 2016. As soon as I walked into the rotunda, I knew that's where we had to get married. We held our reception there, not our ceremony. The space is beautiful.
Patricia Ramirez was our event coordinator, and I couldn't recommend her enough. If you get married here, request her by name. She was a pleasure to work with, she was so accommodating, and just a kind person that made everything easier.
The staff was extremely friendly during the wedding and were concerned with my husband and I eating. We had the beautiful room to get ready in, a wonderful spread during cocktail hour so that we could enjoy the hors d'oeuvres we had so carefully picked out. Our wedding suite was magnificent and the details were superb. We felt very loved and cared for during our wedding.

The only reason I am not giving a full 5 stars is because of the following, and I note this did not reflect on Patricia at all, I believe it was a misunderstanding with other team members. We left for our honeymoon immediately following our wedding and were all the way in South Africa when we realized my credit card had been charged without consent for $200+ and my husband's card had been charged $6,000! Because they were undergoing a change between being a "Westin" hotel to a "Tribute" hotel, i couldn't find anyone to email. I was not going to spend money calling them long distance. I had to have my father back in Miami calling accounts receivable to clear up the issue and it was after a week or so. This was extremely uncomfortable and upsetting to deal with while on our honeymoon as I felt we were taken advantage of and I wasn't sure if they just threw extra charges in there and hoped we didn't notice. Fortunately, we are very careful. They did continue to try and charge me an unfounded charge which was cleared up by Patricia, luckily.
This hassle is the reason why they didn't get a full 5 stars but aside from that everything was magical.

The service was exceptional. I did feel like since I changed my wedding from 2007 to 2008, they could have been more flexible with the price increase. It went from a $25,000 minimum to $30,000. But it was still an exceptional reception. Several people told me that it was the BEST wedding they had ever attended. They really are very good with detail. LOVED IT!!

Décor:

You all know that the Westin is a beautiful hotel. Their Rotunda area is gorgeous and awe-inspiring. It is VERY difficult to make this place look ugly.


Tips for Décor:

Try to incorporate warm colors if you’re having your wedding at the rotunda. It really blends well together. I’ve seen weddings here with whites and bright blues, etc and I feel like it detracts from the natural beauty of this room. I was even torn between silver and gold. I ended up going to gold route against my gut because silver just made things look too cold for this room. Browns, yellows, golds, reds, purples, deep blues, and oranges can go really well here.


Service:

Ivette is awesome. Very personable, friendly, down to earth, take-care-of-business type of girl. She’ll be very real and not salesy as you’re planning your wedding. She knows what works and what doesn’t.


From the servers to the waiters to everyone working here the day of, they were all friendly and helpful. I’m genuinely very happy with how smooth everything went here.

A few of my guests did complain that one of the servers was rudely grabbing the drinks of my 25+ guests thinking they were underage. They did not even ask for ID. Understandably, this particular guest looks young, but to snatch a drink away without asking is just rude. Some others mentioned that they were rudely asked for ID. It would be nice if they did with a non-condescending tone, it is a wedding, not a club or a bar. In addition, this occured during dinner, not even after the dancing got started.


Protips:

· For cocktail hour music at the Westin: Choose a guitarist, not a piano player if your cocktail hour is upstairs. The piano player can only be heard by guests on their way TO the cocktail hour since they are downstairs.

· Paying for your guests parking: if you have the extra money to spend, do it. It’s a nice thing to do. Just to give you an idea as to how many cars we had, out of my 118 or so guests, 39 cars parked in valet.

· If you can, rent out an extra suite (aside from the complimentary bridal suite) for the day before your wedding. In our case, our wedding was on a Sunday. My parents rented a room for Saturday night so we could have that room to get ready in first thing in the morning. The reason why is – if there is a wedding the night before, your bridal suite won’t be ready until the afternoon the day of your wedding since there is likely a couple in there sleeping in.

OR, you can just get ready at home. I just prefer making a mess of a hotel room :P It’s more fun!

They did a wonderful job with the wedding. The reception site is beautiful. The events staff is wonderful. The bell hops and valet people could be a little more coridal and definitely need to step it up for service. We ended up taking our own luggage up due to their lack of movement and their completely ignoring us. However, the venue is AMAZING and the staff, especially Ivette Navarro is a wonderful events coordinator!!!

The staff at the Westin Collonade were amazing. I did not have to worry about anything. They referred me to other businesses that I used for flowers and cake so I did not have to look for myself. The day was great

Beautiful place but the food was not good. What we had at the tasting was very different from what was actually served. Also the high ceilings made it difficult to hear the music well.

Amazing place for a wedding! (in the rotunda) I fell in love with it once I saw it and wouldn't go anywhere else. They offer very good services and the food is amazing. We thought we got a very good deal in pricing, but overall were taken back by the amount of little hidden charges you get at the end but I guess this is common on every venue. Overall the wedding ceremony (held there as well) and the place was beautiful.

We loved the fact that we had our wedding in the gorgeous rotunda! Ivette, the catering manager was awesome! I didn't really see her much throughout the actual day of but the planning process with her was great. There were small hiccups throughout the night like my food not being the food from my tasting but other than those things the wedding was a gorgeous success.

This place is truly gorgeous! If you are looking for a truly elegant and majestic looking venue this will make you feel like a princess. Great location in Coral Gables!

Went to visit this location and the women who was supposed to help me was extremely rude and stuck up. Horrible costumer service and the place Is quite dated if you ask me. As well the way cocktail hour is set up is so strange thankfully the woman was so rude that I barely wasted any time before leaving. Acted as if she was above me
