  Best Dj hands down

  If you are looking for a Dj look no more, Rod is the best hands down. We hired him for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions ever. Super attentive and professional, he felt more like part of the family than a vendor, everyone at my wedding kept talking of how good he was. I needed someone that spoke spanish and knew spanish music and he came through and exceeded our expectations. We are so happy we had him at our wedding and would recommend him in a heartbeat.

  The best DJ there is!

  I cannot say enough good things about Rod! He truly made our wedding AMAZING!! So many of our guests have told us how great our DJ was. He helped us plan a good timeline, gave us song suggestions, and made the whole night go smoothly! Other than his amazing DJ skills, the best part about Rod is his energy! (and his style!) He really knows how to bring the fun and make anyone have a good time! Thank you Rod for helping make our day the best day of our lives!!!!!

  A DJ above all DJs!

  Rod provided DJ services, uplighting, a beautiful monogram and was even able to provide us with a keyboard for my Aunt to play at our ceremony. Rod was beyond our wildest dreams. He set the entire tone for the wedding and went above and beyond to make sure the day was everything we wanted. Communicated effectively and worked well with our photographer and videographer. Once the open dance started the dance floor was never empty! And so many details like presents for our groomsmen and accessories for our guests on the dance floor. There’s no doubt that Rod loves his job and takes the Bride and Groom’s wants for their wedding day very seriously. So thankful we went with HotBeats Entertainment. Wow, just wow.

  Couldn't be happier

  The DJ at your wedding is so important, and we are so thankful for Rod and how amazing of a job he did! Our day ran so smoothly because of him! He listened to everything we wanted and executed it flawlessly. He kept the dance floor packed the whole night. He played music that pleased our whole crowed! I couldn’t recommend him enough!! So beyond happy!!!!

  Rod is the best choice for your event! He makes sure everything runs smoothly and is truly passionate about his job. He handled a lot of situations that came up at my wedding and did do with a smile on his face! He dances with the crowd and knows how to have and invoke a good time. THANK YOU

  I cannot say enough good things about this awesome man. He was just the BEST DJ I could have asked for. My wedding reception probably would have sucked without him. If you're worried that your guests are a bunch of wet blankets, Rod will fix that. This guy will literally make your wedding reception into everything you wanted it to be. He's such an awesome person, too, just so cheerful and optimistic. I LOVE YOU DJ ROD!

  Rod was the DJ for our wedding yesterday and he was absolutely amazing. He was there the night before to set up all if his equipment. My favorite part was of course the cloud dance and I felt like such a princess. My husband's favorite aspect was Rod was there for us at any moment. Rod and Hotbeats is the best choice we could have made for our wedding day. The music was great all night long and people were continuously on the dance floor. If you choose Rod and his company, you will be making the best decision for your wedding day!!!!!!!!!

  Rod was our DJ for our June wedding at the Park Place Hotel in Traverse City and he was INCREDIBLE! Not only did he make the trip to Traverse City but he performed at the ceremony and the reception. He went above and beyond what you would ever expect from a DJ. He worked with us from the beginning to develop our song lists and to make sure we were happy with everything. He checked with us before announcing different aspects of the evening and kept the dance floor packed all night! We received so many compliments on his performance and people could not believe he wasn't a friend of ours. I would recommend him and his company with complete confidence to anyone who is planning a wedding. Seriously outstanding customer service.

  Rod C from Hot Beats really went above and beyond as a wedding DJ for our wedding on Sept 27. I whole heartedly recommend him to any bride & groom.
  He was wonderfully polite and well mannered. He kept the whole day (ceremony to reception end) on schedule. I had several of our guests comment and ask "Is he a friend of yours?" and "He's the best DJ we've ever seen at a wedding!"
  My favorite thing he did was approach the videographers/photographer to let them know the bouquet toss would be happening shortly so they could prepare, etc. He even made sure my dad was ready for the daughter-father dance before announcing. He made everyone feel relaxed (especially me)! It felt like there were 200 of him because he was so on top of things.
  He played the BEST music too - we expressed how important certain music was to us and he matched each song perfectly. With a 60 person wedding it can be hard to get people on the dance floor but Rod had us all dancing. He even got on the bus to wish our guests a good night before it departed. I feel spoiled and so lucky that we were able to have him with us on our wedding - if you are looking for a DJ look no further than Rod at Hot Beats!! - Beth Coulson

  We LOVE Rod! He is so professional and we could relax at the wedding knowing he would deliver exactly what he promised! There were several comments about what a nice job he was doing. He was set up and on time prior to our arrival, stayed until the end and was well prepared in advance because he had gathered information prior to date of wedding! Very fun and awesome hair cut!

  We went with HotBeats Entertainment for our DJ because a few friends recommended them. The owner Rod was awesome! He made our wedding so much fun and kept things moving at a great pace the entire night. I would definitely recommend HotBeats Entertainment to anyone!
