Before, during, and after our wedding, Vanessa has been so communicative, creative and flexible. She even offered a custom timeline to fit with our schedule, which we are so grateful for. Some beautiful core memories were captured because of this. She also has a creative eye for beautiful scenery. For example, we suggest to do our “first look” under a gazebo at the hotel we were staying at. As we were getting ready, she scouted my hotel room & immediately suggested to do our “first look” on the balcony. It was the BEST IDEA EVER. We were able to share our special moment, while still maintaining our privacy, with all our close friends and family from behind the balcony window. All our wedding photos came out absolutely gorgeous! Vanessa truly captured EVERY SINGLE special moments of our day, and we can’t thank her enough!!
These are the types of photos that our children AND grandchildren will cherish 😭 Thank you again for your hard work, dedication, and incredible talent!! Ahhhmazing
My fiancé and I had a fantastic time with Vanessa! She was so bubbly and fun and made the whole “here’s a camera on you” nerves disappear. She will answer all your questions and is open to your ideas. She’s upfront with her pricing, packages and goes into detail of exactly what to expect. She even gave us a sneak peek at some of the photos THE VERY NEXT DAY which was super exciting. Personally, we had a very large gallery (THANK YOUUUUU!!!!!) but the turn around time was quick and the quality is absolutely stunning. We loved working with her!! -

We also appreciated working through some of the kinks when it came to a shot list, etc. She is so responsive and really works hard to get all the special moments. She is also funny and we had a ton of laughs before and on the wedding day! We got our sneak peeks and they are SO SO amazing! We can't wait to get the rest! H&R Vegas Elopement
We came from Florida to elope in Vegas and were definitely feeling the nerves—especially about photos! Posing and looking natural isn’t really our thing, but Vanessa made it all feel so easy. She brought such a calm, fun energy that put us totally at ease, and we actually had a blast taking photos! We’re already in love with what we’ve seen so far and can’t wait for the full gallery. Eugene Sent on 02/28/2025Awesome once in a lifetime photo moments that could possibly be even ad and/or magazine worthy!
So we had our wedding reception at A Simple Affair in Las Vegas, NV a few weeks ago and Vanessa at Honey Fire Photography was the most recommended photographer from their list. And after looking at the venue's other recommended photographers, we liked her style the most! She was great to work with from the moment we met with her in person to having her and Nyjah capture our special day at church and our wedding reception venue. Vanessa captured all our photos from the day I proposed, to our engagement, and of course our big day. Since we were on a somewhat limited budget and couldn't really afford a videographer, we decided that we wanted at the very least Behind the Scenes (BTS) clips of our special day. Nyjah was able to put together our BTS clips nicely. We were very fortunate to work with Vanessa and Nyjah and we have nothing but great things to say about them! Check out her IG page @honeyfirephoto. It's hard and expensive to choose the right photographer especially for a special day like a wedding, so at the very least meet Vanessa and check out her portfolio. We can't wait to put our wedding photos together in an album to always remember the awesome and magical moments that made our wedding unique and special. Thanks Vanessa and Nyjah! We love you guys and we're hoping we get to do a photo session again with you guys next year to celebrate our 1-year anniversary and so on.
P.S. If you're on a tight budget and are on the fence on obtaining a videographer, I recommend that you talk to Vanessa and Nyjah about BTS clips. At the very least, you have a short video to reminisce visually the emotions, feelings, laughs, tears, and other good stuff that will happen during the big celebration! Just communicate your needs to Vanessa and Nyjah and they will work you guys to make sure everyone is mostly happy. They're worth every single penny in my opinion. -

So much gratitude
We had Vanessa photograph our wedding and we are so so beyond grateful that she was recommended to us. Leading up to the wedding she was so professional, communicative, friendly, and most importantly we felt like she truly cared. And that was proven the day of the wedding! She was just SO amazing I could go on forever and ever . Friends and family are still raving about her to me. She honestly did more than we could ever imagine. She actually cares and it shows. She was so down to earth and thoughtful and patient. She was also assertive in situations that warranted for it. She was so organized and cared so much about us and our special day and truly wanted to capture all the moments. We are so happy with our photos I can’t stop looking at them ! Vanessa is truly AMAZING at what she does! We are insanely grateful to have had her capture both our engagement photos and our wedding day. Not only are the photos GORGEOUS, but Vanessa is seriously such a sweet and fun person to be around and has the best energy. EXCEEDED Expectations!!!
Vanessa and her team are by far the best photography company you will find- anywhere. Its hard to know where to start but the biggest suggestion is for anyone looking to hire a photographer- stop now and book Honey Fire before it is too late. Vanessa captured our wedding on 6/7/24.
Vanessa and her team were not just incredibly professional but felt way more like family than just a "vendor" throughout our entire experience.
Vanessa is so charismatic, she cares SO much about her clients and making them happy. The amount of time she and her team spend getting to know their clients, is just incredible.
Vanessa is so incredibly kind and its obvious that she puts her work and her clients way above all else.
We feel forever grateful for Honey Fire, we are so thankful to have a photographer and team care so much about their clients and the work they produce. They go WAY above and beyond.
My husband and I are not local to the area but we already plan on having all of our future photos and life milestones, captured by Honey Fire- we will never go anywhere else.

So far we've just done engagement photos (I'm hoping I can update after the wedding ones are done later this year or just do a second review) and Vanessa is amazing.
We asked to do our engagement pics at Mt. Charleston and we couldn't find each other because there was no service and my fiancé and I were hiking around the area because we saw the car she described as hers but it turned out it was someone else's car. I almost started crying cause the sun was setting and we had to turn back and head home, almost giving up on getting our pictures taken that day with my hair and makeup all done... but then we called her and met on our way out when we had service again and quickly pulled over on the side of the road and took our pictures in the desert, totally unplanned location, and she made it work incredibly.
Vanessa is so nice and easy to work with, posing us while also capturing candid moments. She's amazing at really drawing your eye to the people in her pictures and made my fiancé and I look fantastic. I can't wait for her to capture our wedding!! -

Vanessa’s vibe was incredible the moment I saw her. She was punctual (15 minutes early), prepared (she saved us an amazing spot at our location), and incredibly excited and energetic! She prepared a gallery of sneak peeks the very next day!! She was patient with me and my sister (we did a 2-couple engagement shoot) and we didn’t feel rushed at all. I cannot recommend HoneyFire highly enough! Any praise I could give her would not be sufficient for the amount of talent she has! You will not be disappointed! -

We had the best time on our photoshoot with Vanessa from Honeyfire photography.
We travelled to Vegas from the UK to get married and then had our couples shoot the following day so we were not necessarily in the best position to know who to use as we were not local and I'd just come across some of Vanessa's photos on a Facebook post by chance which I thought were just absolutely lovely and seemed to capture some really natural shots of the couple she had worked with.
We had been communicating on the lead up to the photoshoot and at no point did I find Vanessa pushy unlike a previous photographer I had been in contact with, the balance was just right this time!
She made the whole shoot so much fun and in doing so captured some really genuine shots that showed how we are together naturally rather than posed into positions that weren't the real us.
Between us we picked areas and shots we wanted and we are thrilled with the results.
I highly recommend Vanessa for couples and wedding shoots! -

Bloody amazing!
From the second I spoke to Venessa, she was thing but sweet, accommodating, easy to talk to and super responsive.
Being an out of country bride, it was very refreshing to deal with such a helpful vendor!
When I finally met Vanessa, the morning of our wedding. I was instantly so content with her. She made me feel so comfortable from the get go, she was a good bloody laugh, she made me feel like a damn queen.

You NEED to hire Vanessa for your photos! This girl knows what she is doing! Vanessa just shot my wedding 10/14/23 and my bridal party, family and I could not have had a better experience! From our first message in March she was so quick to respond and friendly, and all along the way she surprised us with sweet messages. On the day of she was a happy ball of energy who made everyone feel so comfortable and incredible! She was like a friend who had been around forever! Her shooting style is BEAUTIFUL and unique and her attention to detail is incredible. It’s been 48 hours and we just got our sneak peaks and my husband and I both cried at how beautiful they are! Some of the best shots are the candidates that look like they can be from an editorial! All of our wedding guests also noticed how good she was and came to talk to us about our photographer and for her contact and Instagram. I seriously could not be happier with our experience! At the end of the day all we have left is the photos and oh my god she captured the beauty and fun so perfectly!!! Seriously do yourself and your memories a favor and hire this girl!!! -

We hired Honey Fire Photography for our wedding day and could not have been happier! We went with 6 hour coverage + 2 shooters and received so many amazing images capturing our day. The timeline planning leading up to the wedding was so helpful (and way more important than I realized)! I knew what to expect day-of and felt so comfortable in front of the camera and we just had FUN! I loved the sneak-peak preview photos Vanessa provided and the full online gallery is so easy to view, share with family, and download. We are looking forward to making an heirloom photo book for our first “paper” anniversary. Would highly recommend Vanessa - she is super talented and also super easy to work with :) -

Magical day captured perfectly!
I stumbled upon Vanessa's social media platform and was awed by her work. My then-fiance and I decided to elope in Vegas and hiring Vanessa as our photographer was, hands-down, one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. We flew in from Canada and communication was crucial for us. Vanessa was always quick to respond to my email/text within 24hrs. She was very flexible and open-minded with all the ideas I had put forward. What sets her apart is her personality: super personable and easy to get along with, which made the entire process of being photographed extremely comfortable.
When we received our gallery, we were speechless and blown away by her final work. Vanessa captured our day seamlessly and beautifully. Thank you again, Vanessa, for making the entire experience memorable and capturing our love beautifully.

Best photographer ever
I cannot recommend this photographer high enough. She was the highlight of our wedding. She was so kind and responsive leading up to the wedding, entertaining all of my inspirational ideas and questions. The day of the wedding she was communicative and punctual and even helpful at the venue with duties beyond what’s required of her. Now to the photos… her ENERGY… made the wedding. The entire wedding party wanted to be her friend. She was ENERGETIC, KIND, and amazing at placement/ creative pieces. She made fantastic suggestions that led to the most beautiful photos!! We are absolutely in love with the pictures. Before leaving the venue she pulled up our texts to make sure we got all of the pictures I sent her as inspiration. So thorough and thoughtful. Vanessa is an amazing individual!! She has been so accommodating with all the covid reschedules of our wedding. And was very open to ideas and was completely on board with our Star Wars themed wedding.

Vanessa was a dream to work with! We did a sunrise photoshoot and she was very flexible with timing. My finace and I are pretty awkward in front of a camera but she made everything so easy and most of all fun. I Can't Say Enough Good Things: Helpful, Accommodating, & Professional
From the moment we first started to interact with Vanessa, she was so helpful and extremely nice! I contacted her through Instagram and we immediately connected with our love of vintage clothes. I wanted to have engagement photos taken, and she was on our final list of photographers we liked most (based off of Insta portfolio and conversations.) I already wanted to pick her but I showed my fiancé the top 3 of who I liked. My fiancé with his unbiased opinion liked her style the best. And he pointed out that she was already so helpful and responsive. It felt like Vanessa was just so invested in it already before we even officially said yes. End result, we said yes to her. And I have 0 regrets. This was my first time hiring a photographer and I never thought about all the tiny details that's involved in a photoshoot. Vanessa extended her arm in helping me with every detail. I cant express the gratitude that I have for her. She is extremely nice and so talented. I have so many photographs that I absolutely love. It's not because my fiancé and I are good models (because we are not) but she was able to capture the best moments and make a beautiful photo out of it.
My advice to people who are looking for a photographer, choose someone whom you are comfortable with and listen to the photographer!! They are the professionals and have the experience! They know what's best! If you want something specific, communicate with the photographer and work it out together.
Vanessa was everything I could have wanted and more! She has a beautiful personality and is extremely helpful.
Fiancé: From the moment we started working with Vanessa, she tirelessly worked to make the shoot everything we wanted from it. From helping us determine exactly what environment we'd like to shoot in, to what we should wear that would look good, but also capture us in an authentic way, she thought of every detail. She worked with my fiancée to help her find an outfit that she loved for the shoot.
Personally I'm not someone who likes getting my picture taken, and the thought of spending such a long time posing and taking pictures, I felt uncomfortable going in, but Vanessa just had this ability to make us comfortable and make it enjoyable and the time just flew by, and in the process she was able to get many amazing shots that I didn't even think would have been possible.
The pictures themselves came out beautiful and truly feel authentic, and like they really capture the feeling of our love.
Overall it was fun, comfortable, and Vanessa made the whole thing so smooth and painless, I cannot recommend her services enough.
To get the best experience, communicate with your photographer, let them know what things (clothes, places, poses) you are and aren't comfortable with, and listen to their advice, they are the professional, you are paying them for a reason -

Vanessa at Honey Fire Photography has such a wonderful, open, and uplighting personality. When she first reached out to me, I didn’t know if we would make a good match because her editing style was not what I was looking for at the time. She invited my fiancé and I to meet with her for coffee, and discuss our wedding and her photography. She showed us her versatile and diverse portfolio with different editing that suited each couple. We immediately clicked with personalities and we decided to book on the spot. She recommended for us to have an engagement shoot so she could nail down the editing we wanted for our wedding day and it was wonderful. She’s very good at posing people, telling you what to do, and also taking very natural in the moment shots. We never felt awkward or uncomfortable around her and she has been so responsive throughout the entire process.
She sends out reminders and questionnaires throughout the engagement to check in and see if anything has changed with our photography style. Two weeks prior to our wedding, we had our final meeting with her. We finalized our wedding schedule and she eased any concerns we had about lighting and the wedding day. The day of she was a major help and positive source throughout the whole day. When she saw me getting stressed during photos, she immediately alleviated the problems which was really nice! She literally felt like our best friend at the end of the process. Now she is our family photographer, and we look forward to using her for years to come. Thanks for all your hard work Vanessa.. So much talent!

Blown away and amazed
My mother in law and I, actually stumbled upon Vanessa by accident, but an accident we would happily make over and over. From our first meeting with her, she was very open, professional, enthusiastic and most importantly made us feel like we were her only clients. When my fiancé and I did our maternity shoot with her, we were blown away with how smooth and easy she made the shoot. My only issue is that I don’t have enough wall space to hang all the photos. I’m so happy that we were referred to Vanessa at Honey Fire. Since we don’t live in Las Vegas we had to connect with her remotely at first. She did a great job of asking us questions and getting to know us better!
We just did our engagement photos session with her over the weekend. She is so kind, so fun, and so incredibly talented. We felt very comfortable with her right away! She was able to direct us into a ton of different poses, and it didn’t feel awkward at all.
We got a few sneak peek photos and they are GORGEOUS! We can’t wait to see the full set.
