Jenya created the most beautiful wedding cake for us! We loved the flavors she gave us in her to-go tasting kit. We went with vanilla cake and strawberry buttercream, which was so delicious. She is very talented and perfectly understood our vision for the cake we were dreaming of. She is a great communicator as well. We highly recommend ordering a cake through her, you won’t regret it! -

We hired Honey Bee Pastries for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with our decision. We did tastings with a few bakeries before finding Honey Bee, but the moment we tried their cakes, we knew our search was over. Their flavors were simply outstanding.
Jenya was a joy to work with—professional, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire process. We initially planned on a traditional wedding cake, but later switched to cupcakes for our guests, along with a couple’s cake just for us. Even when we needed to increase our cupcake order just a week before the big day, she handled it with ease.
The end result was phenomenal. The cupcakes were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We received countless compliments from guests on how amazing they tasted.

The Wedding Desserts of our dreams!
Jenya at Honey Bee was great to work with! From the moment we met Jenya when we picked up our take-home cake tasting, we knew we would be in great, professional hands. Her cakes were all delicious with a light sponge, it was hard to pick just one! We decided on the chiffon cake with lemon buttercream and raspberry jam. She also has an impressive talent for decoration; we loved some of her previous designs that we saw on her social media, and she was able to tweak one of them to fit what we were looking for. It was truly a gorgeous cake. In addition to cake, we ordered a few different type of macarons as wedding favors, each of which had their own distinct, rich flavor. Our guests loved the cake and said that the macarons were some of the best they’d ever had.
Jenya was responsive on email and was available for a few calls to flesh out final details in the months before the wedding, and her expertise in how much cake/other desserts to order given our guest count was very helpful. Delivery on the wedding day was seamless.
We highly recommend Honey Bee Pastries to others looking for any desserts for a wedding / other occasions in the future! -

We are so happy we selected Honey Bee Pastries for our wedding cake and cupcakes! Jenya was super responsive and absolutely amazing to work with. We went with a single tier cake (vanilla & vanilla buttercream) for our wedding cake and the final cake was absolutely stunning and delicious! For our guests we ordered an assortment of cupcake flavors which were a huge hit. We had no cupcakes left over at the end of the reception and after the wedding our guests continued to rave about the cupcakes. We will definitely be return customers for birthdays and other special events! Cannot recommend enough! -

I'm so glad we chose Honey Bee Pastries for our wedding cake! Jenya is very professional, organized, and responsive to email. She answered all my questions and helped me come up with a plan for a 3-tier cutting cake plus a sheet cake. The cake tasting experience was great as well - we stopped by her home to pick up a box of different cake samples, took them home and tried them, and then I emailed her our selections (chiffon cake/lemon buttercream/raspberry jam, as well as the sheet cake with passion buttercream). She delivered the cake with no complications. The cake was classic and beautiful, and most importantly tasted amazing! Our guests loved the cake too. We took home leftovers and froze them, so we could continue to enjoy our wedding cake at home. Thank you so much, Honey Bee Pastries! -

The Absolute BEST Tasting Wedding Cake
From our cake tasting to our actual wedding cake, Jenya and Andrew at Honey Bee Pastries were a DREAM to work with. We chose an almond flavored cake and a lemon raspberry flavored cake for our wedding. They were both unbelievably delicious. The frosting was the best frosting we've ever tasted as well. We were so happy with the design of our cake, the flavors, and our overall experience with Honey Bee Pastries. Highly recommend!!

She brought my daughter's vision to life - with a delicious cake, made perfectly with such delicious flavors. It was a vanilla chiffon/raspberry cutting cake, so we had a chocolate/passion fruit sheet cake also. Yes, it is as good as it sounds! And she was so helpful with what amount/size to purchase, and very responsive with emails and phone calls.

After pricing out many other costly cake options in Nova, her prices proved to be extremely reasonable, and the quality of her cake was unparalleled. My husband and I ended up with lots of leftover cake (we had guests leave early), and we have been thoroughly enjoying our frozen cake leftovers! Would totally order again and HIGHLY recommend!!!! -

Say YES to the CAKE!
We love CAKE! As soon as my daughter got engaged the one thing we were mostly looking forward to was the cake tasting. Believe me, we searched all across the DMV for someone who can live up to our high standards. We wanted a wedding cake that was not only beautiful but delicious. We were ready to give up thinking there was no one out there who could meet our needs. Thank goodness we found Honey Bee Pastries. At first bite, we knew they were the one. We got a take home tasting box which allowed us to try different cakes, frosting and flavors. We ultimately chose two different flavors, Red Velvet and Lemon Raspberry. Jenya’s cakes were moist, fresh and absolutely delicious. From start to finish she was friendly, knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. Jenya understood my daughter’s vision for her wedding cake. She was very easy to work with, she offered recommendations and was very responsive. She was also accommodating for all the dietary restrictions (gluten free/nut free) that we were concerned about. Jenya made the most delicious gluten free cake for the bride. My daughter said it was the BEST cake she ever had! Thank you Jenya for making my daughter’s dream wedding cake into a reality. Honey Bee Pastries was by far our favorite vendor to work with. We highly recommend them for any event. -

We are grateful for her expertise, timeliness, and talent. Her tasting package reflected her attention to detail and flair – and perfectly allowed us to make a choice among her offerings. We appreciated her your timeliness on the day of the wedding, and collaboration with our florist to place flowers on the cake.
Guests are still raving about not only how gorgeous the cake was but also how delicious the cake was. And we especially appreciated Jenya's willingness to work our detail of a small dog figurine into her design. She flawlessly understood our idea and enhanced it – the small dog with frosting on its mouth was such a personal and unique addition! Highly recommend.

Best Cake Ever!
Wow! First I want to begin by saying that Jenya is incredible to work with! When choosing a baker we honestly wanted something very affordable but also delicious and Jenya exceeded our expectations! We chose to do a two layer cake for myself and my husband to cut, and then did a sheet cake for all of our guest. The cake was incredibly moist and so delicious!! Our guest raved about the quality!!! Job well done!! -

After a great deal of research, my husband and I selected Honey Bee Pastries to create our wedding cake. Honey Bee Pastries designed a two-tier wedding cake with a coastal autumn theme. They incorporated our painted pottery turtles into the design. The chiffon lemon with raspberry filling and chiffon with passion fruit filling cakes were delicious!!
They were extremely easy to work with (including making several tasting boxes available at different times due to COVID restrictions.) Honey Bee Pastries was also reasonably priced for the Washington, D.C. area. We would highly recommend using them for all your catering bakery needs. -

I absolutely loved working with Honey Bee Pastries! Jenya and her husband have been phenomenal through the entire process of our wedding cake macarons, cupcakes, and cookies! The tasting was incredible and the day of our wedding was JUST as yummy! I’ve never tasted wedding cake as delicious as this as most has been dry when we tasted other vendors!
Absolutely recommend and we will order our 1 year anniversary cake with them versus freezing our cake. ☺️🥳 -

Honey Bee Pastries is by far the best wedding cake bakery in the DMV!! I picked up a half dozen samples from different bakers in the area & had my girlfriends over for a tasting. We all fell in love with Honey Bee right away. They offered several flavors (all were incredible) and they had the best presentation by far! All of the flavors were DELICIOUS, but the lemon raspberry was out of this world!! I loved it so much that I took the leftovers home with me to Florida for my husband to try (2 days later via airplane) and the cake was still perfectly moist and delicious.
Jenya is the absolute SWEETEST! Her communication is awesome and she even invited me to meet with her to go over my cake design. We played around with dummy cakes and she really helped my vision come to life. Honey Bee Pastries was one of my favorite vendors that we hired and I could not recommend more!!! -

HONEY BEE PASTRIES, LLC did a phenomenal job with my best friend's wedding cake! I must say the cake was the highlight of the wedding and everyone at the wedding loved it. We could not have been more thrilled with our wedding cake! We got a beautiful 3-tier cake for about 75 wedding guests. We ordered two flavors - chocolate with caramel buttercream and vanilla cake with lemon buttercream and raspberry jam. The lemon and raspberry cake was hands down the best cake I've ever had! Easy communication with the vendor, and overall a positive experience. -

Best cake in the area!!! I am not a big cake fan in general, I do not typically like it. So looking for a wedding cake was not a major priority of mine. After trying various local bakeries, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked Honeybee cakes. Not only was I shocked by the taste, but the flavors were all good. If I do go for cake, it is usually a light/vanilla flavor, but the chocolate was extremely good as well! There is a variety of flavors, but most notable, was that they are not too rich in flavor and are extremely moist cakes. We had two flavors for our wedding cake to provide options, and we loved both of them. We loved the flavor of Honeybee cakes and will always go back to honeybee for any occasion needed. -

Amazing Designs
Honey Bee made a delicious and beautiful cake for our big day. Jenya was amazing to work with. She asked us to drop our cake topper and dog figurine off in advance so she could make sure that our final product would be exactly what we wanted. The cake looked perfected and tasted equally as amazing! Honey Bee made not only a delicious and perfect cake for our wedding, but also an amazing groom's cake as well! They helped pull off a perfect surprise at our rehearsal dinner with an absolutely amazing Super Mario themed groom's cake. Jenya worked with me to come up with a perfect design that embodied the specific characters and details that I wanted. My groom was thrilled and it was a prefect dessert to end our rehearsal dinner. We cannot recommend Honey Bee enough and look forward to buying many more cakes from them in the future! -

The team were great with communication. We had several meetings to plan out our design and the cake transportation. Their cake tasted so amazing! It was light, moist and wonderful. We got an almond cake and chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. They created a beautiful cascade of cherry blossoms along our cutting cake that made all our guests ooh and aaah. Our cutting cake had two tiers, one almond and one chocolate. We would order their cakes for any and every event in our future. They were very accommodating with arranging a safe tasting during the COVID pandemic. -

Delicious cake and amazing decorations
We actually did a half cake/half styrofoam option which was covered in fondant. She gave us our quotes almost the same night as our conference call with detailed drawings - super professional. My husband was a little hesitant at first with our cake choice because it was going to use fondant and he is not a fan. However, he actually really enjoyed the fondant on this cake. The cake was also beautiful and tasted delicious. She also made our cake topper which looked amazing. Highly recommend! -

Honey Bee Pastries made my wedding cake and it turned absolutely beautiful! My photographer was in awe and some guests said it was the best cake they had ever tasted. Jenya was such a pleasant person to work with and went out of her way to help us when we had issues with the venue's cake stand. She works with you from the beginning on the design, flavors, etc., and is prompt in all her correspondence. I couldn't recommend this company enough! -

Best Cake!!
Jenya is a great baker. I ordered two tasting kits from here and other baker, and from the first bite, I loved her cakes. The texture, flavor, and even the flowers she chose to decorate the cake were perfect. During the tasting, she even gave us extra buttercream that we didn't choose just to try them, and we ended up with the flavors those buttercream. I liked the fact that I could choose multiple flavors and mix match the sheets and buttercream. Her cake was so good and all the guests at my wedding complemented on her cake so much. Her service was also great that she answered all of my questions on a timely manner. I know that I will order from her again if I need a cake for any special occasions! -

Andrew and Jenya have mastered making their cakes taste amazing, but also look absolutely gorgeous. We ordered cupcakes and a small cutting cake from them and both were phenomenal! We had to downsize our wedding due to Covid, but we kept our original cupcake quantity and there were only a few leftover because our guests enjoyed them that much! We really appreciate Andrew and Jenya working with us and being flexible through our original date postponement. It was all worth the wait! Best cake I've ever had!
We reached out to Jenya and Andrew only 1 month before our wedding (rescheduled multiple times due to covid). We ordered a small cake and cupcakes for our minimony. The cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious - we selected a fresh blueberry cake with lemon frosting and a design to match our honeycomb theme. Jenya carefully matched our theme as well as my flowers beautifully. The almond and lemon cupcakes were also delicious! We had a Halloween wedding 10/31/2020 and Honey Bee was the ONLY choice in our minds to create our two cakes for this special day. We chose the vanilla chiffon cake with passionfruit and raspberry filling with passionfruit infused buttercream outer layer. The groom's cake was a chocolate on chocolate with raspberry filling. My mom (who is very picky about sweets) said it was her favorite wedding cake ever. I can not say enough about how they worked to bring our non traditional design for these two cakes to life. The pricing was not only reasonable but their professionalism and attention to detail is impressive. I now only get all my cakes from them, no matter what the event is, it is worth the WOW factor for taste and design...a true gem in this day and age!!!!! -

Jenya and Andrew did an amazing job! On fairly short notice too, as I found them about a month before my brother's wedding date (Halloween). They worked with me to get the details down as quick and smoothly as possible.
In these "covid times" they made it safe and easy with minimal contact - 1) picking up the tasting boxes to take home & 2) the delivery of the cake to the venue. Everything else was done over email.
The flavors we tried were all great. (I personally loved the blueberry cake w/ lemon buttercream. And still really want to try the almond cake 😉) My brother and his new hubby chose the chiffon cake w/ a passion fruit icing filling and traditional buttercream icing. The cake was delicious and the decoration was beautiful!
I would/ will 100% recommend them to anyone. -

We went with a cupcake cake with a sweetheart cake topper. We got 3 different flavored cupcakes and they were all gone by the end of the night! Jenya was extremely easy to work and communicate with. She was so flexible and able to accommodate our requests so easily. Plus, the cake and cupcakes were delicious! Definitely recommend. -

We loved our experience with Honey Bee Pastries, from beginning to end, it was seamless. The tasting was lovely, intimate and not rushed. Jenya and Andrew have a wonderful background to share, and you can taste it in their cakes! So SO GOOD. They were very eager to hear our ideas and make them a reality. Honey Bee Pastries was the perfect choice for our wedding! We decided on a two-tier wedding cake, with two sheet cakes. When we did our cake tasting, we couldn't decide on a flavor, so they let us choose 3 different ones, one for each cake! They all tasted delicious, and we got tons of compliments from our guests. Honey Bee is small, local business, making them even more enjoyable to work with. They were incredibly responsive, and super helpful anytime we had a question. Cost was very reasonable, considering how amazing it all turned out. If you're looking for delicious cake, look no further! -

Jenya went ABOVE and BEYOND, EXCEEDING my expectations for both my bachelorette and wedding. For the bachelorette she created the most gorgeous Sex and the City themed cake; it was the most beautiful cake yet so delicious as well. My girlfriends and I savored every bite. Jenya also put together such beautiful and tasty NYC themed sugar cookies; she packed both cookies and cake so efficiently as I was taking them to NYC for the girly weekend. A true testament of the exceptional customer service I experienced. Our wedding cake was also a major hit; Jenya knocked it out the ballpark. Jenya and Andrew did a fantastic job on the cake for my fall wedding. They came highly recommended from a friend who used Honey Bee Pastries for her wedding several years ago. My friend mentioned her dad was very picky eater, but by the end of the wedding was a raving fan of the cake. Fast forward to my wedding and from the initial conversation I was impressed by Jenya's professionalism and commitment to ensuring John and I were happy. She was candid and honest about how much cake we'd need for a 100 person wedding. Being in sales myself, I appreciated the fact she didn't oversell us. I provided her with a few photos at our tasting and she nailed my style. Many of my guests commented on how delicious the cake was and several asked if the cake was fake or real -- ALL real and at a very affordable price! I HIGHLY recommend Honey Bee Pastries!! -

We didn’t do much shopping around for wedding cake bakers, because as soon as we found Honey Bee Pastries, we knew they were the one! Jenya is such a lovely person, and she made us feel so welcome in her home when we met her for a tasting. She offered us so many delicious options that we couldn’t decide which we liked best and ended up choosing two flavors. We also found the prices to be very reasonable.
At the wedding we were so busy that didn’t even get to see our wedding cake until it came time to cut it, but when we finally did see it, we couldn’t believe how beautiful it was! And goodness, it was delicious too! They say a lot of people don’t end up eating the cake at weddings, but I caught a glimpse of our caterer bringing our extra slices because so many people were having some.
Bottom line, if we had to do it over, we would absolutely go with Honey Bee Pastries again. We can’t recommend them enough! -

Our son was recently married in Alexandria, VA. We, his parents, were delighted -and celebrated by all - not only because of their marriage, but for the incredibly beautiful and delicious creations that Honeybee bakers, Jenya and Andrew, prepared for us - and all of our guests. Our relationship started with HONEY BEE PASTRIES about 6 months ago with my future daughter-in-law and son’s wedding shower at a winery (Barrel Oaks) in Virginia. They are both outdoor people - loving to hike and camp, and having spent lots of time/vacations at our National Parks. (Busy medical providers, this is how they best love to relax and restore!) I knew I wanted something special for them, so I found Jenya (Honey Bee) on line when I searched for the “best local bakers.” And, she and her husband, Andrew, proved they were - again and again.
Our “kids” and everyone else could not stop raving about the wonderful cookies and cakepops - the best some of those “sweets’ connoisseurs” had ever eaten, they said. As well, I asked Jenya if she could create camping tents and hiking trail signs - with the colors of the bride’s wedding party - pale blue - and the date of the wedding and the names of our kids on them! She and her treats were AMAZING! The pale blue tents with the little feet sticking out and the names of the National Parks on them as well as the trail signs with the date of their wedding and their names were SUCH a HIT! We had them not only for the Shower, but the bride and groom-to-be requested them for the Rehearsal Dinner - and then they sweetly asked if I could call Jenya and Andrew to see if they could make their cookies as wedding favors, individually wrapped with pretty blue ribbons! So, for three different but related very special family gatherings, Jenya agreed, and again, all of our family and friends from all over the country were delighted! The theme of our kids’ outdoor wedding at River Farm was a National Park/Camping one - it was elegant and gorgeous with table setting and escort boards featuring artist-rendered National Parks’ photos turned into “paintings” with guest tables/names on them - and those cookies! A perfect match and treat!
I cannot begin to tell you how much we appreciated the meticulous care and lovely artistry of Jenya and Andrew! Plus, the goodies were SO delicious! My new daughter-in-law - a true Washingtonian - loves the Cherry Blossoms, so the cake pops had cherry blossoms on them and I also asked for some blue flowers as well. So perfect! HONEY BEE is absolutely the best for whatever sweet baked goods - cakes, cookies, cake pops - that you will dream up and picture at your event! Seriously - if you can imagine it, they will create it for you! Jenya, Andrew and Honey Bee are treasures and I hope they will always love what they do - because we will definitely have many more requests for them as our lives go on here in Virginia/DC! -

Beautiful, delicious cake - admired by all of our guests!
My sister connected us with Jenya and we could not have been happier with her level of professionalism, her kindness, and her extraordinary talent! We told her we wanted a cake inspired by the beauty of the elven culture in Lord of the Rings (yes, really), highlighting a more whimsical, romantic, and earthy theme throughout our wedding. And she delivered flawlessly! We absolutely loved our cake, it gave us exactly what we wanted while still being subtle and not so obviously nerdy, but everyone could see that we had gotten what we wanted once we explained the elven concept to them. Our cake was the lightest, fluffiest, most flavorful cake we (or any of our guests) had ever tried. Jenya also catered cupcakes for my bridal shower and no one could get over how beautiful and delicious they were. A true talent, happy and satisfied does not begin to cover it. -

We found Jenya and Honeybee Pastries on WeddingWire and were blown away by their service. Jenya was very responsive and easy to work with. Our cake was delicious and beautifully done. Jenya even came to the venue to decorate the cake with fresh flowers. We chose to do both a vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream and a pumpkin spice with vanilla buttercream. Our guests loved it! This cake is DELICIOUS - like, close-your-eyes, moan-out-loud, go-back-for-seconds (and thirds!) delicious. Jenya was very helpful and well-informed during our tasting; she clearly puts a lot of care into ensuring that every cake is exactly what the client wants. And it was beautiful to boot! My husband and I gasped out loud when we first saw it at our reception. All of our guests absolutely raves about how delicious it was, which was both good and bad because by the end of the reception we had none left to take home and I was really hoping to savor a few more slices. Not to worry, though - I’ve already decided that we’ll be ordering a small cake for our anniversary next year. I’ll be recommending Honey Bee Pastries to everyone I know! -
