Look no further for a wedding venue
We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at The Hotel Bethlehem! From the moment we arrived, every single person we encountered was kind, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. From Barry the Bellman who greeted us with a warm smile, to Yolanda the Housekeeper who ensured every detail was perfect, every interaction was thoughtful and attentive.
A special thank you to our wedding coordinator, Emilie Elias, who made the entire planning process seamless and enjoyable. Emilie anticipated every detail, guided us through decisions with expertise and care, and ensured that our wedding day ran flawlessly. Because of her, we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment without any stress.
The Hotel Bethlehem truly sets a standard for hospitality and event coordination. Every couple looking for a beautiful venue with an incredible team should look no further — we are so grateful for the memories we made here!

A Magical Experience!
Our daughter and son-in-law's cocktail hour and wedding reception were held at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem on January 4. The staff’s attention to detail was absolutely flawless, and their service was above and beyond, in all respects. When we arrived for the weekend, a staff member said to me, “Tell us what you want/need and we’ll make it happen”—and they truly did. From start to finish, Kathy and Heather supported and guided us through the entire experience, with their level of expertise shining through in all the details. Although they have wedding receptions all the time at this venue, they made us feel as though our event was truly special.
A number of our guests remarked that it was the most beautiful, enjoyable wedding reception they had attended in years. In fact, all of our guests stayed until close to the end of the reception, and they raved about the hors d’oeuvres and the entrees.
All of the flowers and greens we transported from the Old Chapel were beautifully incorporated into the reception; they even found a way to include the pew decorations from the chapel. Our daughter added a popcorn bar, which was a huge hit, just prior to the wedding. I was amazed to see they had even decorated that for us.
Thank you, Kathy, Heather, and the entire team! You were positively AMAZING!

Perfect All-in-One Venue
We held our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the Hotel Bethlehem in April and everything was perfect! We worked with Kathy, and she has everything down to a science and took all of our stress away. She gave us great suggestions, and the vendor list was top notch! We received so many compliments and requests from guests to have another wedding there because everyone loved it so much. Numerous guests told us it was perfect and the best wedding they’ve ever been to. Our guests loved that everything was in one place, and they didn’t have to travel once they got to their hotel room. They loved how beautiful the hotel, and ballrooms were, and the food was excellent. We added on the ice cream bar, and everyone loved it. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the servers were excellent, and attentiv -

I can't say enough good things about Hotel B. They are incredible. Everything we asked for. they accommodated without any questions asked. Everything from when we signed the contract to the day of went so seamlessly and it made our experience there truly perfect. The food, the atmosphere, the accommodations - they go above and beyond. Now I really want to go to a wedding there to get the full guest experience because my guests absolutely LOVED it. -

Best day ever!
Over three months later, and our family and friends are still talking about how wonderful our wedding was at Historic Hotel Bethlehem! The entire experience truly felt like a dream. We were devastated when we needed to postpone our wedding from August 2020 to July 2021. However, Hotel B was extremely understanding and flexible! Kelsey was incredibly responsive during our planning period from December 2020 until May 2021. Bethany took over from there and continued to provide great service and answer all our questions. We decided to have our rehearsal dinner at the Hotel as well, and we were stunned at how lovely it was! Amazing service and our family and bridal party raved about the food! It was all so convenient to practice the ceremony and just walk right upstairs to dinner. Afterwords freshen up in our hotel rooms and head out down Main Street to continue the festivities (of course). The day of our wedding I felt so relaxed based on the staff and our coordinators preparedness. We had our ceremony in the Mural Ballroom and then headed upstairs for cocktail hour and reception in the Grand Ballroom! My husband and I really appreciated the hospitality suite complete with drinks and our cocktail hour food for us and the bridal party. It was great to fuel out before heading out to chat with our guests! I cannot stress this enough—the staff at Hotel Bethlehem is AMAZING! I truly felt special as we constantly had staff (shoutout to Martin!) check on us, getting us drinks, notifying us our entrees had arrived, etc. Not having to worry about moving decor, guest books, etc and having it all taken care of is a DREAM. At the end of the night a bottle of chilled champagne and our wedding cupcakes were waiting for my husband and I in our bridal suite. So sweet! I could go on and on, but if you are looking for a wedding venue in the Lehigh Valley you need to book Hotel Bethlehem!! Thank you all again! -

Wedding July 2021
Hotel Bethlehem was truly our dream wedding venue! In addition to being elegant and beautiful, the team there provided top notch service for us and our guests. The whole day/night ran very smoothly, starting with our first look and running through our entire reception until 11 pm. Emily, our maître 'd, took great care of us and made sure we were set the whole evening. Bethany, our coordinator, was responsive to emails and helped us greatly preparing for the big day. She made sure that our wedding day turned out exactly as we wanted it, attending to every detail in the process. The guests loved the food, from cocktail hour to dinner. The ballroom was decorated beautifully by the team and was everything we could imagine. Guests loved the area of Main Street and the whole town of Bethlehem which really added to the feel and ambiance of our wedding. Guests are still raving about our wedding venue and how beautiful it was. It was literally our dream wedding! We can't thank the Hotel Bethlehem staff enough and highly recommend.
*Hotel Bethlehem was also very accommodating during covid as we were originally an April 2020 date, rescheduling and postponing and worked with us throughout the process. We were able to have a small (less than 10 people) legal ceremony there in July 2020 adhering to the covid guidelines so we could officially get married. Kelsey helped us plan the perfect intimate ceremony and we were forever grateful that we could get married there despite postponing the large event. Even our intimate ceremony turned out beautiful and was more than we could have imagined. -

Fabulous Memorial weekend wedding
The couple were both Lehigh graduates. Their dream wedding was a ceremony at Packer Memorial Church. The best complement was a wedding reception at Historic Hotel Bethlehem. Hotel B management and staff were incredible to work with throughout the process. The food for the cocktail hour and reception were excellent. The serving staff were extremely attentive throughout the reception but also the weekend as most of our guests stayed in the hotel. The Grand Ballroom made for an elegant reception. Most importantly, our couple could not be happier with the outcome!! - Father of the Bride -

Parent of Groom
We can not say enough about the Historic Hotel Bethlehem. Their reputation as an elegant well run venue is well earned. The food was delicious and the rooms for our overnight guests were great. Kathy & Kelly were so patient & accommodating of every detail from our initial tour right through to breakfast the day after. -

The perfect wedding venue!
If you’re looking for a wedding venue, the choice is easy - Hotel Bethlehem. Not only is the venue beautiful, but the cost is surprisingly affordable. We were lucky to work with Kelsey, one of the hotel’s Wedding Specialists. Kelsey was wonderful to work with and made the entire planning process extremely easy. She was always available to answer questions and willing to assist in any way. I can’t imagine trying to plan a wedding without her! You get so much for your money at Hotel Bethlehem, plus a beautiful setting, helpful staff, and outstanding accommodations for you and your guests. Kelsey and the rest of the team at Hotel Bethlehem were unbelievably accommodating and helped make our day unforgettable. Hotel Bethlehem even serves Penn State Creamery ice cream, so we were able to add it as a special dessert! All of our guests raved about Hotel Bethlehem and were so impressed with both the venue and the staff. We can’t say enough good things about Hotel Bethlehem and will certainly be back! -

Gorgeous hotel for a wedding!
We had our wedding at the Hotel Bethlehem and we couldn’t have been happier. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! It’s a historic hotel but doesn’t feel dated at all. Instead it feels classic. Before the wedding we worked with Kathy Sanders to coordinate our wedding. We met with her multiple times and was very knowledgeable! She thought of everything! One of the best things about this venue is that everything is included in a base price. If you want to supplement with extras you can but it’s not necessary. We got the bridal suite for 2 nights included in the base cost. It was a huge bridal suite that felt very romantic! My bridal party and I got ready in the bridal suite and were helped throughout the day by the staff. They let us know when the ceremony was starting and where to go. Our cocktail hour was in the lobby and they had a garden display, cheese spread, and circulating ordorvies. We had our wedding and reception in the Mural Ballroom. We barely had to decorate because the hotel had so many of its own decorations. It has beautiful high ceilings, columns, up lighting, and murals on the walls. That room fit our 100 guests with room for a dance floor. It also included 2 bars, a gift table, and a cake table. The staff was wonderful and more than helpful! I wish I could have my wedding here all over again! -

Above and beyond
No need to look anywhere else for a wedding venue...Hotel Bethlehem is the most magical place to have a wedding and they are experts at making your day absolutely wonderful. I worked with their wedding coordinator, Kelsey, and from the beginning she made everything super easy and transparent for us. She was able to work within my budget while also including add-ons and small touches to make the day special and unique. When it came to the wedding weekend, all of the staff are so wonderful and accommodating and they know how to keep a very anxious bride calm. You can tell they are experts at the whole wedding process. The food is superb and all of my guests are still raving about how wonderful and timeless the whole event was. When you walk in to the hotel it’s like stepping back in time to the 1920s, which just adds to the overall glamour of your big day. Thank you Hotel Bethlehem for making my wedding dreams come true!! -

Best Wedding
We had our wedding at Hotel Bethlehem on June 9th 2019. It was absolutely everything we dreamed of and more. Kelsey, our wedding coordinator, was absolutely wonderful from the beginning. She paid attention to every detail and helped to create our vision of our wedding day. Everything went so smoothly the day of. The accommodations were fantastic. We did a first look walking down the marble stair case into the lobby. We had our reception in the Grande Ballroom and it was beautiful. The tables looked wonderful. We had a band and danced all night. The food was awesome and kept coming! Our guests did not leave hungry. The hotel is a gorgeous and historic which is something we loved about it and it is restored beautifully. We had so much fun at our wedding and would not have changed a thing. -

Incredible fairytale wedding!
I got married at Historic Hotel Bethlehem on Black Friday 2017. It has taken me over a year to write this review because I do not want to face the fact that my wedding is over! LOL MY family and I stood at the hotel from Thanksgiving until Sunday. From the moment we arrived, everyone at the Hotel was more than accommodating and kind. They let me drop off all of my wedding stuff the week prior so I did not have to worry about anything. I left there speechless and crying because I could not believe such a place still exists. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and important. We had about 40 people for Thanksgiving and they gave us a private room, private buffet, and even decorated the table with Thanksgiving centerpieces for us! As for my wedding, it was everything I could have ever dreamed of and more! It was a Christmas fairytale come true. Kelsey Lynn (our wedding coordinator), Brandon (our bartender) and everyone else on staff made us feel like family. I truly feel I have gained friends for life. No detail went unnoticed, no question went unanswered. They made sure my day was PERFECT, and it was. Joanne, the owner of the hotel, is one of the kindest people I have ever met. Establishments and staff like this are such a rarity these days. If you are looking to have your wedding here, you will not be disappointed. If you have a love of Christmas like I do, then getting married here around Christmas will be nothing short of a fairytale. To the Historic Hotel Bethlehem staff, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. My husband and I are looking forward to spending our one year anniversary at the Hotel in November 2018. -

We were married on July 14, 2018 and held our reception in the Grand Ballroom at the Hotel Bethlehem. We both knew from the beginning we wanted to have our reception at the Hotel, and they did not disappoint in the slightest!
Kathy Sanders was our wedding coordinator and she was very responsive to all our questions. She made sure that anything we wanted, happened. Kathy was extremely organized, and all the staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. Our guests raved about the service and the class of the staff and the facilities.
All of the other reviews talk about the excellent food, service, and style of the Hotel and I completely agree with them. However, I want to include something about how above and beyond the Hotel staff is. In a story I’m sure is near legend now for Kathy and the staff, our tasting was scheduled and cancelled three times for bad winter weather. Then, on the fourth try, I got really sick and needed emergency surgery. As I was recovering, in the hospital, I received a beautiful flower arrangement-from Kathy and the Hotel staff, wishing me a speedy recovery. I had absolutely no doubts that we had made the right choice in going with Hotel B for our wedding prior to this, but after that display of kindness and class there is nowhere else I would ever think of having an event at in the future.
And luckily, the fifth time tasting was the charm-and of course the food was amazing!

Kathy Sanders helped us planned everything, and while she was not our wedding day Maitre'd, she was definitely there to help out on the day of. Hotel Bethlehem spared nothing for us, worked with our budget, and our simple wedding was nothing but amazing. The food was great, the service was great, but more importantly, they made us feel secure in the run up, and on the day of. Our wedding was very unexpectedly rowdy, and they handled it with seeming ease. In retrospect, I was a bit worried that it had been a bit too much for Historic Bethlehem, but I had heard from almost everyone that attended that it was one of the best catered, most enjoyable wedding and receptions they had ever been to. It was honestly so much fun, and they pulled out all the stops to make us feel like our wedding was a true celebration. -

Every single thing about the historic Hotel Bethlehem was absolutely perfect for my wife and I for our wedding. Kelsey was amazing as our wedding coordinator, the food was outstanding, the Mural ballroom was gorgeous! Everything went perfectly and it would’ve been impossible to make our day any better. We’re already trying to come up with reasons to stay the night at the hotel just to be able to enjoy being there again! So many people told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, and the venue was a HUGE part of that! Thank you Hotel Bethlehem for a truly perfect night! -

We held our intimate wedding in the Lehigh Room of the Hotel Bethlehem, and I can't think of a better place to have had our 12-person wedding. The Lehigh Room is on the second floor with gorgeous half-circle windows and plenty of space for our ceremony on one side of the room and dinner on the other. Due to the size of our group, we were able to order directly from 1741 on the Terrace, the hotel's upscale restaurant. The Hotel Bethlehem is so beautiful at Christmas, so we could not have chosen a better time of year.
Our coordinator, Kelsey Lynn, was extremely helpful and friendly, making suggestions about how to set up the room and decorate our table using candles from the downstairs restaurant(s). Throughout the whole process, I felt like our vision of a relaxed but formal semi-elopement was completely understood. I know the Hotel Bethlehem does much larger weddings on a normal basis, but we were made to feel like our small-scale wedding was very important to them. Best of all, most of our family stayed over at least one night at the hotel, making it feel like a vacation even though my husband and I only live a few minutes away.-

We had always dreamed of having our wedding at Hotel Bethlehem and boy was it everything we dreamed of! Kathy was incredible from day 1- she helped us organize everything and made everything go off without a hitch! The maitre d was constantly attending to my needs during the reception and ensured that everything continued to be incredible. When we got back to the room at the end of the night it was absolutely beautifully decorated and even had the cake topper flowers and some cake and champagne! Anyway- Kathy was sure our vision was made reality and it was so much more than we could have ever asked for. WE LOVE HOTEL BETHLEHEM! -

I can't say enough about this venue!! I refused to look any further because this place is just perfect. They make sure your day goes as planned without a worry. My coordinator was Kathy and she was perfect. Of course I had some worries about little things being done a certain way, but Kathy made sure of everything going as planned. I can't thank her enough and the hotel staff for making my wedding a dream! All of the guests said it was the most perfect wedding they have ever been to! Extremely accommodating hotel and venue. Why look further when almost everything is included (caterer, planner, linens & tables, food, alcohol, beautiful setting, etc.). Thank you Hotel Bethlehem!! -

Hotel Bethlehem was a truly the perfect venue to host our wedding. Planning was very easy. Our original coordinator left and we worked with Kelsey Lynn, which was a wonderful experience. She is extremely organized and very quick to respond to any questions you will have. They provide you with nicely printed plans to review what you picked out for the wedding so you have a chance to review everything in its entirety leading up to the big day. The entire system is very organized and no detail goes overlooked. Additionally, they were very accommodating with the hotel block and providing room totals to help coordinate welcome bags. We checked in on Friday, the day before the wedding. We had quite a few out of town guests, who congregated at the Tap Room downstairs in the Hotel Lobby for drinks. They were extremely accommodating for such a large group. The Bridal Suite was perfect, the rooms are extremely well decorated, clean and authentic to the style of the hotel. The hotel was nice enough to shuttle me across the street to the church because we were not sure if the weather would hold out. The cocktail hour was perfect, everything in the Grand Ballroom was perfectly set and ready to go because everyone could see the Ballroom from the cocktail hour balcony. We received wonderful service in the hospitality suite before we went out to cocktail hour, which allowed us to try all the foods and drinks before we got talking to everyone. The staff did an excellent job of ushering guests down to the ballroom and providing high end service during dinner. Everyone was super impressed with the level of organization. The dinner and cocktail hour food was impeccably prepared. They also did pour service for wine during dinner which everybody loved. Penn State Ice Cream bar was a major hit and so were the late-night snacks brought out around 10. Everyone had a wonderful time and everything ran so smoothly. I would truly recommend using Hotel B for your wedding. Kayla & Jerry -

We held our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at Hotel Bethlehem The staff at Hotel Bethlehem was very welcoming and kind to all our guests. From the moment that we checked in for our rehearsal until check out two days later, the staff was there to help with any of our needs. We had the unique opportunity of using both of the ballrooms and the balcony space above the Grand Ballroom. All of our guests loved the atmosphere as it was beautiful, yet unique. We love this venue and plan to return to it in the future for each of our anniversaries as well as to stay the night for local festivities. -

Booking the Hotel was one of the best decisions of the wedding. Kathy was incredibly helpful throughout the process through emails, personal meetings and the tasting. She made us confident that they would ensure everything was the way we wanted it. I would recommend any couple who books the hotel to view the ballroom with the tables how they will be set up when attempting the seating chart for better visualization. Our Maitre D'Hotel was fabulous. She took care of every detail the day of, managed the set up of all the decorations we had dropped off, and handled any incoming issues before they became problems and the guests were totally unaware. The private cocktail hour for the bridal party was such a blessing after the ceremony and pictures it was so nice to have a chance to relax. The food is incredible and several of our guests commented on how delicious everything was. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and my husband and I are incredibly grateful. The complimentary bridal suite for the night of the wedding was so great we booked another night! I would recommend the Hotel Bethlehem to anyone, it is truly a beautiful venue. -

There is a reason the Hotel Bethlehem is such a popular wedding venue - they know how to put together a wedding! We could not be happier with our choice to have our June, 2016 wedding at the Hotel Bethlehem. Kathy is a veteran coordinator and was very accommodating to any requests we had and able to answer any questions. Through the Hotel we found most of our vendors all of which were wonderful to work with. It was reassuring to have other vendors so comfortable with our reception venue. We were a little nervous when we found out there were going to be two other weddings the same night as ours but besides the lobby being an bustling place we wouldn't have known. The staff easily (or at least from our point of view!) handled the packed house with ease and we never felt like we weren't their priority. The entire weekend went smoothly and we have the team of people working with us to thank for that! -

My husband and I chose Hotel Bethlehem for our wedding ceremony and reception venue, and it was absolutely perfect. I wanted nothing more than to get married outside, and Hotel Bethlehem offers about 12 different ceremony sites on the historic property adjacent to the Hotel. The weather cooperated and we were able to say our "I Do's" with the creek to our left, main street to the right, and the back drop of several historic buildings. The cocktail hour and reception moved indoors to the 3rd floor balcony and Grand Ballroom, perfectly fitting our 115 person reception. Terry Marrow was our coordinator leading up to the event, and she was amazing to work with - when I felt like my head was spinning with little details, she reassured me that everything would work out, and it did! Her staff was incredible the whole night, taking care of every question and request we had. The hotel was great for our guests too, I just wish I had remembered to tell everyone to make brunch reservations on Sunday since the Hotel gets so busy. We were looking for a place where we could check in Friday, check out Sunday, and get everything done in between in one spot. Hotel Bethlehem was the perfect place for that! -

Our daughter's wedding reception was held in the exquisite Mural Ballroom. I cannot say enough to adequately convey how beautiful everything was. The Hotel itself is magnificent and the staff could not have been more accommodating. The food was delicious and served to all guests in a very timely manner. We worked with Kathy Sanders for all the planning. What a true professional! All of our questions were always addressed promptly and many wonderful ideas were exchanged. We were assigned a personal maitre'd for the evening who made sure everything was exactly the way we wished. I received so many compliments from our family and friends who loved everything as much as we did! Thank you to everyone at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem for a wonderful, magical wedding weekend! -

If you are looking for a beautiful venue with top notch staff, look no further. Hotel Bethlehem did a fantastic job of making everything absolutely perfect for our special day. Not only did they organize and execute wonderfully, but they took it to the next level by helping with little bumps along the way. They even provided an MC when our band wasn't familiar with introductions - talk about saving the day! We couldn't ask for a better venue! -

My husband and I had our reception at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem last weekend, and the experience from start to finish was phenomenal.
Our wedding planner at the Hotel was responsive and helpful for the full year of planning, coordinated perfectly with our other vendors and put together a wonderful wedding!
Our guests all enjoyed their stay at the Hotel, including a brunch we hosted the following morning. The Grand Ballroom was perfect for our 120 guest wedding and the tables were decorated and set immaculately.
The staff was exceptionally helpful through the wedding, from the catering managers to our maitre'd to the waiters. The food was amazing, and we heard great reviews from all of our guests.
I would recommend the Hotel to anyone who wants to get married in the Lehigh Valley.

We used the Terrace room for a welcome reception the night before a wedding. The room was perfect for a casual evening get together. The staff and food was great and the room lends itself especially in the evening, of historic and vintage Bethlehem. Looking out to the town and Bethlehem Star up on the mountain was just spectacular. The staff was professional and friendly. One young staff member went out of her way looking for a basket that I had left behind way after they were closing down. Kudos to her and thats how nice these folks were. I would definitely use Hotel Bethlehem again. From the event manager, Kathy S., to wait staff I couldn't be more pleased. -

What a great venue for a wedding reception! The Gand Ballroom was simply beautiful and was exactly what we wanted for our special day! The hotel planner, Kathy S., was amazing in helping us to build the perfect party. From the beginning of the party with cocktails / appetizers on the balcony to dinner and dancing on the main ballroom floor later, all were prefectly executed by the hotel. The room and set-up, the food, the service...all made for a perfect night. If you are looking for a special event at a historic hotel, this is your place! -

My husband and I were married in August 2014 and held our reception at Hotel Bethlehem. This was the perfect venue for us and I worked with both Terry and Kathy, both of whom provided great advice and assistance through the wedding planning process. One of the key reasons we chose Hotel Bethlehem is that we live in NYC (but are from the Lehigh Valley) and wanted a venue that matched our taste but also our budget. We also wanted a venue that could provide all the bells and whistles without us having to coordinate everything - this is the place to do it. Also, their preferred vendor list is long and full of amazing reputable vendors who can seamlessly coordinate with the Hotel for a stress free wedding day.
If that wasn't enough, our guests, who are a hard to please bunch, loved the venue and most stayed at the hotel for the entire weekend.
If I had to get married again (to the same man of course), I would not think twice about working with Hotel Bethlehem again. -

My (now) Husband & I first fell in love with the Hotel Bethlehem during our visits to Celtic Fest. After our initial meeting with Kathy we were hooked, she laid everything out in black & white and even fulfilled a few specific requests which made us feel at ease with the reassurance that they would take care of everything. As our day approached, she met with us and went through our final details and even helped us with the table placements. The only thing we had to do was bring all our favors & centerpieces, w/a simple picture of what we wanted the tables to look like, a few days before and they made the Mural room absolutely stunning. When our day finally came it was complete stress free, my mother booked one of the corner suites, which my Husband & I had one as well as it was included in our package, for all the girls to get ready in. When the guys came they were ushered into one of the business suites that was later turned into the bridal party’s cocktail hour, fully stocked with what our guests were having, after the ceremony. As our ceremony was at the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, right down the street, they were able to let us use one of their shuttles to bring the families to and from the Church. **The annual Harvest Fest was taking place on our day and regardless of what is happening on the Main Street it will block off the whole street so just keep this in mind when you book. As we came back from the ceremony we were dropped of right in front of the hotel, with cheers from the Harvest Fest crowd, and were met by our hostess for the evening. She was there to keep an eye on us by letting us know when our food was ready and refill our drinks when needed, she even told me I needed to eat or rest when she felt I needed to. The whole experience with them made us feel like we were the only wedding that was taking place that night and in reality they were hosting 3 different ones that night. -

Our daughter and son-in-law were married at the hotel on November 2,2013. From our first meeting with Terry Marrow until we said good bye the night of the wedding, our experience could not have been better. Terry and the hotel staff worked very hard to provide the type of wedding that we envisioned for our daughter. They worked with us on the menu and made sure that the food at the cocktail hour and dinner were just what we wanted. Most of the guests were from out of town and loved staying at the hotel. -

Just had my wedding at Hotel Bethlehem, in the Grande Ballroom with about 190 guests. It was absolutely PERFECT. I rarely can say that, but night was flawless. The minute We walked into the hotel we knew we wanted to have our reception there. It is a beautiful hotel with exceptional service to match. The staff was professional and friendly at every turn. The BEST service came from my wedding coordinator, Kathy Sanders. She handled everything I threw at her, and with a smile. A true professional, if you work with her there is no need for an additional wedding planner. When I felt overwhelmed I would email her and she would reassure me that everything was taken care of. Kathy, along with the entire event staff, made my family and I feel like my day was their first priority. The day of my wedding, every time I looked there was Kathy or another staff member tending to me and my bridal party. Guests could not stop saying how beautiful everything was. So many people said they would come back to the hotel for a weekend getaway. It was the wedding of my dreams, at a top notch venue. -

Our reception was by far the most expensive part of our wedding budget, but the Hotel Bethlehem made it worth every penny. Terry was so helpful during the entire process and made sure that everything was perfect during our reception. It was seriously the most stress-free night of my life. Our maître d, Regina, was absolutely amazing. She helped get the leaves out of the train of my wedding dress, figured out my bustle when my bridesmaids couldn't, coordinated times of events so well with our DJs, and made sure that our centerpieces would be stored until we could put them in our car the next morning. I would definitely recommend staying at the hotel that night, as we spent the night in a beautiful suite. We were treated to a bottle of champagne, extra pieces of our wedding cake, and an arrangement of roses waiting for us in our room after the reception. -

Hotel Bethlehem was the perfect place for our vintage/elegant wedding! From the first time we stepped foot in the hotel, we knew we would get married there. We had our ceremony in the Mural Ballroom and our reception in the Grand Ballroom. Most of our out-of-town guests stayed in the hotel, too, making it a very convenient choice. We worked with Kathy Sanders, who was just outstanding. She was professional, personable, and responsive. She worked with us to make our wedding day perfect! On the day of the wedding, Kathy and the other staff we interacted with made sure that the day ran smoothly. I couldn't believe how everything came together so perfectly. The food was excellent, and I wish I would have eaten more! The hotel was just beautiful, and everything was set up exactly how I had imagined. The Grand Ballroom is just perfect for the reception, and I loved how the cocktail hour was in the balcony overlooking the ballroom. Looking back on pictures, I am so happy we chose Hotel Bethlehem for our wedding. Our guests were blown away by the ambience and service, and I would definitely recommend Hotel Bethlehem to all brides! -

We were married in the Mural Ballroom and had our reception in the Grand Ballroom. It was so nice to have everything at one place so guests did not have to worry about travel from ceremony to reception. We had numerous people stay at the Hotel that night and we provided them with a breakfast the next morning. The hotel staff decorated the tables for breakfast with center pieces from our reception. Terry did an excellent job dealing with me and my wedding planner. We had a difficult time figuring out our table layout, and even right before our reception started, my wedding planner move our head table (which was fine, but the wedding planner should have moved the table numbers for my mom and dad's tables to be closer to us at our new location - no fault of Terry's)! Terry and her team was very helpful during the reception by making sure I got fed by following me around with a plate of food - it would have been better if they actually fed me - lol kidding. There was one annoying blip - before Terry, we were working with another person. In our contract it said 6% sales tax, and service fee - it didn't note what the service fee was, so I thought it was 6%. Later after that person quit, we were assigned Terry Marrow. When we received our 1st event order from her in Aug. (7 weeks before our wedding), we never saw the 20% service fee, and it was never pointed out (our fault). It wasn't until 10/24 (two weeks before our wedding) when we realized we owed A LOT more money than we anticipated. Even if we did realize it back in Aug. it was still a lot on money to come up with within 7 weeks, imagine 2 weeks! We pulled it off, but wish we knew sooner so that we could have planned better since we were ahead on our payment schedule.
Thank you Terry and Team for dealing with me and Jose during this crazy time! You and your team did an excellent job. -

We used Hotel Bethlehem for a post-wedding brunch for out-of-town guests, as well as for accommodations for some of our guests. The rooms were great and everyone just loved being in the heart of downtown Bethlehem. The brunch we planned was absolutely perfect - food was great and plentiful, service was excellent. Our event was from 8:30 - 11:30 am in the Lehigh Room, which could accommodate up to 36 people comfortably. My contract guaranteed 25 people, and in the end we had (in and out) 37 people plus a few children. Not inexpensive (about $28++ pp plus a room rental fee of $250), but we thought worth it. It was relaxed and beautiful and couldn't have been a nicer way to end our wedding festivities. -

Kathy Sanders was the best!! The Hotel Bethlehem provides the entire wedding experience with the staff to make it happen. I had a small wedding of about 50 people and I got married in the Terrace Room on a Sunday afternoon, everything seemed to work out perfect and the weather was just right. The staff at the Hotel went out of their way to ensure that my day was stress free. The staff also accommodated my out of town guests and made the whole experience great. -

It was beautiful!
Kathy Sanders was our main contact person and she really was a huge help with the planning! She gave us a timeline for getting things done, suggested vendors (DJ), and really made me relaxed.
I knew that once the reception started, I would be able to relax and enjoy the evening! It was wonderful.

We just had our wedding reception here on December 19th and it was absolutely a dream come true. Terry our planner was amazing. I could email her any time of day and she would answer, which by the last month happened very frequently. The service was amazing. The servers were constantly checking on us and trying to make us comfortable. The food was AMAZING! Of course, the decor was breath taking. Everyone was very professional and made it amazing. I honestly could not have chosen a better venue. It is so historic and gave it that 'vintage' feel that I wanted. We are now planning on going every year to visit on our anniversary! I truly recommend this to anyone looking! -

Hotel Bethlehem was the perfect venue for our wedding. You do have to make sure you are willing to spend some money, and Saturday weddings come with a minimum, but they work with you to make sure you are getting your money's worth. Everyone was blown away by our wedding in the Grande Ballroom. Kathy made sure the plan was executed perfectly and Regina was the best!! She is with you every step of the night making sure you are stress-free and don't have to worry about anything! You also get a complimentary suite for the night and they decorate it with rose petals and champagne :) perfect night and perfect wedding! -

I had my small wedding reception in the Terrace Room at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem and overall, I am Very pleased with everything! I had requested a special/different set up than the normal round tables and Kathy, the event coordinator, made sure to make it work so I would be happy. I was extremely pleased with the professionalism of the staff during the entire reception. There were a few things that we paid for and I didn't see, but nobody else noticed, so I didn't make a big deal about it to the staff. Everyone had a great night and loved the staff on hand. If I had any issues, they made sure to resolve it immediately. I rated "responsiveness a 4 because I felt that I didn't always get an immediate response from Kathy. But in the end, she made sure that I got everything I wanted, and I was happy. I will definitely recommend the Hotel Bethlehem for anyone looking for a wedding venue. -

We were overjoyed with the service we received from Hotel Bethlehem. Even when minor issues arose, we were treated with respect and the gang at the Hotel did everything they could to make it right. The food was unbelievable, both in taste and value. Our servers, bartenders, and Naomi were wonderful and we were very happy with our bridal accommodations.
We love to eat at the restaurant and I'm thrilled my husband talked me into spending a little more money . . . well worth every penny . . . to celebrate our reception in this historic and stunning building. -

My wedding was WONDERFUL and so much of that was thanks to the wonderful people at Hotel Bethlehem, especially the special events coordinator, Kathy Sanders.
Kathy did an absolutely wonderful job. From the purple uplighting in the room, to her help with getting the table cloths from Action Party Rentals, everything looked beautiful. I had only ever been to 1 other wedding in my adult life, and didn't really know how the timeline of everything was supposed to go, and Kathy was able to help me out with that.
We had both our ceremony and reception in the Terrace Room at the hotel. Cocktail hour was in the lobby right outside the room. Due to a variety of reasons, the hotel was not able to remove the dinner tables from the room during the ceremony (which we knew would be the case before we booked). They arranged the tables in a half moon layout during the ceremony, and it looked great.
During the cocktail hour, we had a ton of food and drink, and I haven't heard one bad word about the quality of the food. People were excited because of all of the options, and because the food was just plain tasty.
The hospitality suite that was provided for the wedding party was really great. We had most (if not all) of the appetizers that were provided downstairs during the cocktail hour, along with cocktails. It was nice to take a few moments away from all the hustle and bustle to just breathe and relax for a second before everyone got introduced.
During the reception, the Hotel set up purple uplighting around the room, which was a big hit. We also had a flambe station at the end of the night, which people enjoyed. We also heard from MANY guests that the waitstaff at the hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful.
We always knew we wanted to have our wedding at the hotel, and they definitely did not disappoint. The hotel itself is beautiful and was a wonderful backdrop. But the people behind the scenes who went the extra mile and treated everyone so wonderfully really made the difference. -

We had our ceremony in the Mural Ballroom and then they flipped the room for the reception. A cocktail hour was held in the lobby while the room was being transformed.
Hotel Bethlehem and Kathy, our contact, were amazing. They did have a minimum, which sounds expensive at first, but it was incredibly reasonable when you consider you get almost everything with that price: a beautiful space, linens, set-up, tear-down, food, alcohol, hors d'oeuvres, etc. Plus, they work seamlessly with other vendors; it felt like we didn't have to worry about any of the details.
Everything was done with class and the service was wonderful. All the guests commented on how polite and friendly the staff was. Every wedding gets a maitre'd (in addition to Kathy), which I first thought was superfluous, but she proved to be an amazing help. She even ran interference when we had some problems with the DJ. It was so nice having someone to be so attentive to detail and responsive to what the bride & groom want.
Hotel Bethlehem wasn't completely hands-on, which concerned me during the planning, but it turned out that it was all for naught. They got the details right and our wedding and reception turned out to be lovely, and more importantly, exactly what we wanted.
Many guests loved the ease of the wedding and reception being in one place. People could leave early if they got tired, there was a bar that stayed open after the wedding, and there were lots of things for the guests to do within walking distance of the hotel. Additionally, the hotel has a free shuttle for guests, which was nice when so many people were already spending a lot of money on getting to the wedding.
I would absolutely recommend Hotel Bethlehem for a wedding. -

We didn't end up going with Hotel Bethlehem, but we were impressed with Terry's professionalism. When we contacted her and said we were going elsewhere (just because we wanted more of a private, outdoor ceremony), she emailed back right away and wished us luck. We ended up going with Silver Creek in Hellertown, and we told Terry that. She had nothing but nice things to say about Silver Creek, and said we would love it.. I was impressed by that. We looked at Burnside Plantation and the event manager there (Tavia) didn't give us any guidance when we said we wanted to keep the wedding at $15,000. She just said it can be done, but didn't give any examples how. She also never emailed us back when we said we were going elsewhere. But bottom line, Terry seems very professional at Hotel Bethlehem! -

This was a BEAUTIFUL place to have our reception. Since most of our family was in the area and we had our son to think about this is what we booked. The only thing I did not like is that there were a lot of "extra" costs...IE: cake cutting, chair covers, bartender costs...it all added up quick and some of it was things you needed to have. They were pretty flexible though after much discussion. They allowed us to cut our own cake instead of paying $1.00 per slice. But again like I said if you love history and authentic decor this is the place to be! -

There were some issues with communication leading up to the wedding (unanswered emails, miscommunication between the first planner we worked with and the person we were assigned when she left), but at the end of the day, everything was fine and the wedding was beautiful. -

We held our reception here in the Terrace room. Our relationship started off a bit rocky the normal event planner was on maternity leave and her sub gave us all the wrong information when it came to menus and when the regular event planner came back a month before our wedding she told us our choices were not available after all our guests had already rsvped. We worked together though and were able to fix it in the end. The sub was also not very good at returning phone calls. The day of our wedding they went out of their way to make everything enjoyable and what we dreamed of and even upgraded our wedding night suite to a presidential suite. -
