Best day Ever!✨
We just had our wedding over the weekend 4/4/2026 and it truly was the best experience ever! The coordinator Brianna was so helpful in every way possible, she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Peggy was also incredible and the whole staff was so respectful, helpful, organized, attentive & overall the kindest people i’ve ever met! The pricing was very flexible and they worked with us to stay within our budget! We had our wedding in the Electric City ballroom and it was so beautiful the chandelier really makes the room pop! The food was also so delicious everything was top tier from the hors d’oeuvre’s for our cocktail hour, to the salad & the entrees everything was amazing! i would definitely recommend the Hilton Scranton & Conference! -

Best wedding venue
I can not say enough about the Hilton and the staff members! Every single person staffed on our day did a tremendous job at making sure every need was met! Everyone always said don’t worry if something goes wrong it’s normal. Well I can tell you that everything went 100% correct! Kristen our wedding coordinator helped make sure everything went very smoothly and executed everything perfectly I dreamed up! Lori made sure we didn’t need anything on our wedding day. She made sure we didn’t need for anything all night. Our bartender Gabe was the star of our rehearsal dinner and the wedding night. He should be everyone’s bartender at any special event. Everyone worked so well together. All the staff was beyond what we could have expected. If you are thinking of having your special day at the Hilton don’t think twice. The price is right and you can make it the way you dreamed as well.-

Perfect Wedding Venue
My husband and I cannot say enough great things about the Hilton Scranton & Conference Center. First off, great location! It's right in downtown Scranton, so there was a lot for our guests to do. We had our ceremony and reception there in May, 2021. Everything was perfect from the moment we decided to have our wedding there, through the actual wedding, and even after the wedding with a follow-up message from the Hilton about giving us free baseball tickets. Meghan, the wedding coordinator at the Hilton, was always extremely responsive and talked us through everything. When COVID hit, the Hilton was amazing, which is wonderful considering horror stories I heard about other wedding venues. The Hilton said we could do whatever we wanted as far as postponing or cancelling. We postponed and had our wedding 7 months after our original date. The Hilton had plenty of safety protocols in place and did everything we wanted to make our wedding go off without a hitch, safely. Any questions we had, Meghan was there. Her coworkers, Dee and Joe, were wonderful too. Then, the day of the wedding, everything was perfect! Every piece of decor looked great and was exactly where we wanted it. All the little details that we had previously mentioned about the ceremony and reception were executed. The Hilton did not miss a beat. They made our vision come to life. It was the most fun, incredible, day of our lives.-

Wonderful team, wonderful experience!
We couldn't recommend Meghan and her team with greater enthusiasm. Each meeting, she was prepared and calm to answer all of our questions and help us orchestrate our exciting day. In the weeks close to our event, she was in close contact to make sure we knew exactly what would happen and how things would roll out. On the day of, she was right there every step of the way to make sure we were happy, fed, and enjoying ourselves! She is a collected young professional who handled this Type-A bride with ease. A+ experience!! -

We worked with Meghan throughout the wedding planning process and she was amazing. She was very responsive and flexible and knew what we were looking for. We had our ceremony at the Hilton as well and they ensured it was set up Friday to rehearse and included uplighting as well. It was beautiful! -

October Wedding
My Husband and I had our wedding this past October. From start to finish, it was a pleasure working with the Hilton to put on a fabulous wedding! I had my ceremony as well as the reception here. While I was a little worried when the original coordinator had changed midway through planning--everything turned out absolutely perfect. Meghan and her catering team did an incredible job--I had so many compliments on the food (which if that is something you care about, The Hilton is definitely your best bet!) The spread during cocktail hour was amazing. They accommodated my signature drink option for hot spiked apple cider and it was delish! They were flexible with every detail and ensured that we were taken care of. All of the scheduling from ceremony to cocktail hour and reception went so smoothly. The staff was fantastic and the guests all had a great time! I would definitely recommend The Hilton. -

Scranton Hilton and Conference Center
We recently had our wedding at the Scranton Hilton and everything was perfect! Thanks to Meghan, the Hilton’s wedding coordinator, every moment was stress free for my husband and I. We had the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception all at the venue and everything was so elegant and exactly how we’d imagined it. All the staff were very professional and friendly and helped make our day unforgettable. The Scranton Hilton is a great place to have a wedding! Thanks again Meghan for everything!!! -

Having my wedding at the Hilton in Scranton was the best decision I ever made. With much of my husband's family being out of town, I knew the hilton would be the perfect way to ring in the new year without having to worry about people getting from point A to point B. After my first meeting with Lacey Woodrow, the event coordinator, I felt that she was very friendly and knew what she was doing. Now looking back on booking our wedding at the Hilton in Scranton, I can't believe there was a time that I actually considered anywhere else.
Lacey from the start makes you feel like she is your best friend looking forward to helping you plan your dream wedding. She is aware of your budget and is considerate in helping suggest ideas that are in your price range. She is so quick to respond to your emails and genuinely cares about your day going as you planned. Leading up to your day she is prompt on appointments and is organized in arranging all the details discussed.
My dad was a man that had no clue about weddings. Lacey and the Hilton staff helped make this process so fun and enjoyable for my dad. They made sure to include him on all decisions and listen to his and my mom's questions and concerns. Lacey even made my dad a name tag that said assistant coordinator for the night of the wedding.
The Hilton in Scranton goes above and beyond to not only give you the best wedding reception, but the best and most memorable wedding WEEKEND! The whole staff that worked that night from bartenders, cooks, servers, luggage helpers, shuttle drivers, housekeeping, front desk staff, and event coordinating staff work so hard to ensure that your every need is met. I even told my husband, when reflecting on our weekend, that the Hilton staff made us feel like royalty. They all congratulated us and knew us by name. Many of our guests have reached out to us the past few days to let us know how amazing their stay was and how awesome the food was. WE LOVE THE HILTON SCRANTON!!!! -

I can't compliment the Hilton enough for hosting our dream wedding reception on November 25th,2017. Everything was absolutely perfect from the cocktail hour to the reception. Lacey Woodrow was our wedding planner and she was awesome to work with throughout the whole planning process. She was very energetic and accommodating to all of our needs from the moment we met her. Her communication skills were great and she responded quickly to any questions or concerns that we may have had throughout the planning process. The Hilton staff went above and beyond for us especially the night of the wedding. It truly was a magical night that we will never forget. I would highly recommend the Hilton to any engaged couple looking for the perfect wedding venue :) -

We just recently had our wedding at the Hilton and we're so happy with the outcome. Lacey from day one was so helpful and easy to work with. I am very organize and had everything done and planned for her to execute and she did an awesome job! My expectations were beyond exceeded with the Hilton and their staff, especially Lacey Woodrow. As you can imagine my approach as a bride was very hands-on and Lacey was very responsive to every single e-mail and phone call or text, no matter how minute the detail or issue. Lacey was my right hand throughout my whole wedding process and I could not be more pleased. Everything from the cocktail hour to the final minutes of the reception were flawless (thank God). The food was delicious and the entire staff at the Hilton from the concierge desk to the servers were beyond helpful and friendly. Our wedding was held at the Hilton in Scranton on December 30th, 2016. It was perfect! We chose to use the second floor lobby space for our cocktail reception because we liked the contemporary vibe that it had. We had a full band, two bars, a mix of traditional banquet tables, high-top tables, couches, and cocktail tables, and a buffet set out on the large granite with passed hors d'oeuvres as well. Our wedding planner was Lacey Woodrow, and she was just awesome! Lacey was easy to get a hold of, and responded quickly to emails. She was flexible, fun, and creative when planning for our wedding. We were so impressed when we finally saw our event space because she had added so many unique and beautiful touches. We were very happy with our decision to host our most special day at the Hilton. It was the perfect space for the contemporary, cocktail style reception that we had imagined. -

My husband and I chose the Hilton Scranton Conference Center for our July 9, 2016 wedding. From the moment we toured the venue and met with Lacey Woodrow, the catering sales manager, we knew that the Hilton was the perfect place for our dream wedding. Lacey was extremely supportive throughout the entire wedding process, offering ideas, welcoming our suggestions and adding in all of our special touches and requests with ease. The entire process was enjoyable- not stressful as many people deem planning a wedding to be. Guests are still raving about the staff, the food, and the overall experience of our wedding at the Hilton. Anyone would be lucky to have Lacey on their team as they plan their big day! -

We honestly can't say enough nice things about the Hilton, their staff, and their Catering Sales Manager, Lacey. They really made our dream wedding a reality and spent so much time and took so much care to make sure every detail we wanted was met. Everyone we dealt with at The Hilton (but especially Lacey!) was so friendly and willing to go above and beyond for us. The food was delicious, the venue was beautiful and the time we had was incredible! Wish we could do it all over again! If you have the opportunity to book a wedding with The Hilton Scranton, you will not be disappointed! -

FANTASTIC! My fiancé and I booked a room here for the night before the wedding as well as the night of our wedding. I stayed the night before the wedding without the groom and all of the Bridesmaids met at the hotel Wedding Day morning to get ready in the room. Although not all of the bridesmaids had rooms at the hotel, they provided us ALL with transportation to the church which saved us HUNDREDS of $$ when we couldn't find a limo or transportation other than a CAB for just a drop of for all 8 of us. When my husband and I got back to the hotel room later that evening we found chocolate covered strawberries and a beautiful card for us. It was such a nice surprise. Everything was absolutely perfect! Thank you! -

There are a lot of venues in the Scranton area. However, I don't know why you would consider any venue other than Hilton Scranton. Not only do they have two ballrooms to choose from depending on your budget and the number of guests but it's also the only modern venue in town AND they have overnight rooms and parking! Lacey was a dream to work with. She is bubbly, polite and understanding. She spent a lot of time showing us the ballrooms and foyer area for our cocktail hour as well as the different room types for our family to stay for a long weekend. Lacey also helped us choose our rehearsal dinner area (PJ's Pub) and our after wedding breakfast (Casey's Corner) within the hotel. With over 50 guestrooms all of our check ins were smooth, our rooms were large and clean and our guests enjoyed the pool, gym and on-site dining options. My husband and I chose to treat our guests to Southern cuisine. Chef helped us come up with a very unique menu and I was shocked at the amazing presentation and food quality. Our entire wedding party ventured down to PJ's Pub for an after party and no one had to drive under the influence which was super important to us! The service was incredible from the Front Desk to the housekeeping and serving staff for 3 days straight. -

Everyone should get married at the Hilton Scranton! We got married almost 2 months ago, and people are still telling me how the attitude, professionalism, and accommodation of the staff was unlike any other wedding they've ever been to. Every single person I came in contact with during my entire planning experience with the Hilton was incredibly helpful and extremely nice! I can't even put into words how amazing the Hilton (ESPECIALLY catering sales manager Lacey Woodrow) was to work with. Our wedding was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined, and none of it would have happened without the attentiveness and just general expertise of Lacey Woodrow. I seriously cannot say one bad thing about our entire experience with them. -

Our wedding on October 24, 2015 was literally perfect. The staff of the Hilton Scranton is without a doubt one of the hardest working and compassionate groups of people I have ever encountered. The first stop on our venue search was the Hilton Scranton and Conference Center. We walked through the door and were immediately introduced to Lacey. If the gorgeous hard wood staircase, beautiful décor, and welcoming atmosphere weren't enough to win us over, Lacey certainly was. Lacey was personable, charming, and extremely knowledgeable! Any questions or concerns we had she was able to answer and reassure us, and if she couldn't at that moment she found out and followed up with us later. My father has been in the restaurant business for his entire life. So, as we were searching for the perfect venue, he had many concerns because we were inviting 515 people. I need to take a moment to really explain the VAST nature of this wedding. Not only did the Hilton Scranton have our very large wedding on October 24th, but they also had a large conference that morning that lasted until about 12 or 1 PM. With our wedding starting at 4, this meant a very tight time frame for the staff to work with. Everything went off without a hitch! We also had our ceremony in the Ballroom, which meant half of the room was set up for the ceremony while the other half was ready to flip once the ceremony was done. Kurt and Amanda the Banquet managers, Joe the Banquet Captain, Donnie the Chef, the front desk staff, and all of the wonderful servers really worked together to make sure everything went perfectly! I truly cannot say enough positive things to do all of them the justice they deserve. Lacey Woodrow Houck is the sweetest, most genuine, and helpful person you will ever meet. With her incredible work ethic and a staff that strives for perfection, you will see that the Hilton Scranton and Conference Center hits every event out of the park. -

Prior to looking for wedding venues, my fiancée and I knew what we were looking for. The Hilton Scranton Conference Center met all of our needs. There was a beautiful prefunction space for our cocktail hour and an absolutely gorgeous ballroom for our reception. The location was also ideal for us. We had a lot of out of town guests and there were all able to stay at the location for an affordable rate. Now it is very important to say, while we knew the Hilton would meet our needs we were astounded by how far they absolutely surpassed our expectations! The Wedding market is very difficult to navigate, but Lacey Woodrow Houck made everything so easy. She was easily accessible, extremely knowledgeable and absolutely essential to making our day PERFECT! We had a private tasting of the wedding meal prior to choosing our menu, and were highly impressed on the wedding day with how wonderful the food was. The ballroom was absolutely beautiful. Lacey and the banquet staff at the Hilton are absolutely amazing. After the wedding, we received several compliments from the guests. They were so pleased with the service during the reception they were all leaving more tips. I heard so many whispers about how much people enjoyed the Hilton staff during the reception. There were also many compliments regarding the room service. Some out of town guests stayed the whole weekend and were so impressed with their rooms and the room service.
Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about the Hilton for a wedding venue and their wonderful service. I highly recommend them!!! -

I had my wedding at the Hilton Scranton, I was beyond impressed with the quality of service that the staff offered. I have never before felt that each staff member was a friend of mine. They were compassionate, caring and extremely attentive. Everything from the food to the preparation for the wedding was phenomenal. Everyone could not believe how fantastic the food was and I agree! Everyone says brides don't get to eat at their weddings, well I did and I was so pleased with the quality in fact I couldn't stop eating. Lacey Woodrow helped me with coordinating my wedding and she was beyond amazing. She developed a sense for what I was looking for and helped to make it a reality. The wedding was perfect from start to finish. I stayed at the hotel for two days and everything about it was absolutely perfect. The staff knew my name by the end of the first day of my stay, that is incredible. -

The entire staff really went above and beyond our expectations and catered to our needs and the needs of our quests. We will always recommend the Hilton Scranton as a wedding venue. Lacey was wonderful to work with! Such a fun and caring individual!

Our experience at the Hilton could not have been better. Though there was some changeover during planning the communication was great and the day of turned out perfectly. The hotel rooms are immaculate! Everyone who works at the hotel treated us like royalty and our guests loved being within walking distance of everything downtown. The food was delicious and the servers were very pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend the Hilton Scranton to anyone getting married. Thank you Hilton for making our day truly special! -

Our daughters wedding was recently held at the Hilton, Scranton. From the time we booked the venue to the actually wedding everything was handled effectively, promptly and kindly. Working at first with Aleiza then with Ashley was an easy transition as BOTH are great to work with. Having the bride and groom live out of state made for having many conversations/emails about the wedding. Not once did we feel like we were a bother to the staff. Ashley made sure our vision of the wedding came true. It looked absolutely beautiful. People are still calling us to tell us what an amazing time they had! Having the reception at the hotel made the wedding night last and last. We had about 50 hotel rooms booked for the wedding and most of the overnight guests continued celebrating with us at the bar in the lobby. It was great knowing the wedding "didn't have to be over". We also hosted a breakfast for our overnight guests. It was nice to hear all the rave reviews the wedding received the next day! That's again Ashley and the Hilton! -

The entire staff at the Hilton exceeded our expectations. Everything went like clockwork, from the beginning to the end and including the breakfast the following morning. The room decorations, table setting were right on the money and the food was absolutely delicious. Aleiza Yatsin was our co-ordinator and she went above and beyond in helping us to prepare for this very special day. -

The Hilton staff was so helpful on the day of our wedding. They were always asking my husband and I if we needed anything or if there was anything else they could do. The event coordinator was a huge help in planning our wedding. -

I could not be more satisified with our choice for a wedding at the Hilton. The staff was more than accomodating from the first day we met to even after the wedding. We had many out of town guests that loved that they didn't need to drive anywhere after the reception ended and even went downstairs to PJ's Pub to continue the night. The food and drink was fantastic. The decor turned out to be fairy-tale like, and we couldn't be more happier. The Hilton is definitely a thumbs up! -

I recently had my wedding at the hilton scrantom conference center. My wife and i are beyond satisfied with how everything came out.
First, ill start off with lacey woodrow. She is awesome. Very energetic about making sure your day goes on eithout any issues. She responds quickly to emails and answered all of our questions. She accommodated all of our requests. She is definitely a pleasure to work with.
As for the venue, we were completely blown away with everything. From our hospitality suite to the reception. The food was incredible and the drinks were consisent ( all our mixed drinks were perfect).
I would definitely recommend the hilton for anyone looking to get married. -

I just had my wedding reception at the Hilton Scranton. From our initial contact with Lacey she was friendly, positive, and always there within minutes to answer ANY question that we had. Lacey Woodrow is the best!!!!!! On the day of the reception I knew I didn't have to worry about anything. She also helped out with our memory table and gift table. You can most definitely trust Lacey to handle all of the details that you have been planning for the best day ever! -

Overall, we had a great time with the Hilton. We received tons of compliments on the food and the staff during the ceremony and the reception! We worked with Aleiza, the wedding coordinator, from the beginning... I cannot sing enough praises for this woman. She was always available and went above and beyond several times for us. She is excellent and I would recommend her to anyone! We had a bit of hurdles with the Hilton at some points- they changed coordinators 3 times during our two year process (I planned way ahead!), which was annoying, but in the end we got to work with Aleiza again, so all was right with the world. Also, the other "hurdle" we had was that they had scheduled a "horror fest" on the same day of our wedding... This is probably the one thing I would say to watch out for. If you want ONLY your wedding to happen, then I'd search somewhere else. The Hilton was extremely accommodating once I voiced how upset I was. They went above and beyond, building linen walls as well as offering other extra services at no cost and were very attentive to what I was worried about. My wedding went off without any problems and for most of the day, I was completely unaware that anybody else was even in the building. I was extremely pleased. The general manager and sales manager were very easy to work with after voicing my concerns. Although I know Aleiza isn't the wedding coordinator anymore, I can't say it enough how she almost single handedly made my wedding day stress free and the way I wanted it. I feel that you're in pretty good hands with the Hilton. The food, staff, and overall vibe was elegant and the pricing is extremely doable-- especially when comparing to the Radisson across the street. I also feel it's important to mention that we had 300 guests and for as big of a guest list, there were no issues in terms of space or service. Good luck on your venue search -

The Hilton was absolutely the perfect venue for our wedding! My husband and I loved having our wedding there and they helped make our wedding day, the day of dreams! Lacey was phenomenal and truly helped make the visions I had for my wedding come to fruition! She was great -super organized, prompt, kind, and truly cared about my special day! The Hilton overall was so great to work with! No complaints at all! I would highly recommend them as a venue for anyone's wedding! It was the best day of our lives and the Hilton made helped make that happen! :) -

The Hilton was a beautiful venue for our Wedding Reception. It was convenient for our out of town guests who were able to stay there at a discounted rate. The staff was very helpful and couldn't be nicer. The set up was beautiful for bothe the coctail hour & reception. We received several compliments on the reception from our guests, before it was even over. We definitely recommend the Hilton. -

We had a wonderful time at our wedding in September! Meghan was awesome, she made the day so beautiful and was so helpful. She was our third wedding coordinator and kind of disappeared at the end of the night but we had a wonderful time! -

My wedding turned out beautiful and Christine at the Hilton was extremely helpful up until the day of my wedding. On my wedding day, my mom had to go back into the employees only section to find her. Overall, they did a fantastic job and I would recommend having your wedding there! Friday weddings are a great value!!!! -

On September 13th 2014 I had a wedding at one of you banquet location, specifically in Scranton PA. Since the day I have booked this banquet hall I have had very poor experience with overall staff at that location. I have paid in full for my reservation about 10-11 months prior to the date. Since then I have not had much communication with any of the wedding/banquet planners. Less than a month prior to the wedding one of the managers got in touch with me asking which meals I have picked to be served to my guests. At that point I have asked her if there is a possibility of trying some of their meals out so I would not be basing my decision purely on the name of the meal. The manger seemed very surprised that I have not gone through any food tasting and imminently set it up time for it. I would like you to keep in mind that by that point I did talk to few of the banquet planners which have change 4 times from the day I signed the contract and the day of my wedding (I met the forth banquet manager on the day of my wedding.)
On the day of the wedding all of my guests that have arrived prior to cocktail hour were send to the hospitality room by one of your staff individuals. All of the food and drinks were obviously consumed and by the time I have arrived with my wedding party nothing was there for us. We did ask the staff to restock the room; however, through the cocktail hour we were served with only 2 plates of food.
The cocktail hour was not set up as per my initial agreement with the FIRST banquet planner. There was table cloth on the main table and the ice sculpture was place on a small table next to one of the reception doors. The original agreement was that the ice sculpture would be utilized as a centerpiece for the cheese/cracker/vegetable/fruit table. Additionally I was promised a slide show to be presented during the cocktail hour. I have provided the hotel with a USB card with a power point slide, which did take me 5 hours to make. -
