    Excellent Event Venue

    Riva, the Coordinator was excellent. Super easy to get along with and work with; she literally was the easiest part of hectic blitz that is an Indian wedding event. Looking back, no matter how stressful my day was , calling the venue and working with Riva was always the easiest and most often highlight of my day. The venue itself is great (obviously that's why we chose it) and service of the staff was excellent. Although, my family and I are locals, my spouses family all flew from out of town and this venue was just easy and beautiful. Ours was a muslim Indian wedding: which means it required a lot of rooms, all day long events, and crazy logistics but this venue and the coordinator were a godsend!

    Excellent, professional

    We hosted wedding reception at this hotel. The service was great. They worked with us to make sure the event was successful. Catering manager Reeva Neam took care of us very well. She is highly experienced and long term Hilton employee and knows how to deal with young and old alike.They were flexible to adjust minute changes. Free parking and convenient location.

    We had our reception at the Rockville Hilton this past Saturday and they were fantastic. The Rockville Hilton catering and booking staff were incredible. Paula and Kleber were responsive to all my emails and requests. They were very accommodating, patient and flexible. I absolute recommend this venue! The ballroom was beautiful and the cocktail hour is in a gorgeous area. Thank you Hilton!

    We highly recommend the Hilton Hotel in Rockville for a wedding. The atrium is gorgeous and was perfect for our wedding ceremony and the ballroom was a great place for the reception. A lot of our guests were from out of town so having everybody in one place, especially one that was metro-accessible, was great. The Social Catering Manager, Riva Neam, was so helpful. We met with her several times and she was always patient and willing to work with us. She didn't bat an eye at several of our special requests and did everything she could to ensure that we had what we wanted. All of our vendors had what they needed, and Riva coordinated everything. From our perspective, the set-up on the day-of went seamlessly. We couldn't have been happier with how our wedding at the Hilton turned out.

    I used them to get ready and to have a honey moon suite. They are the nicest people in the world. They were very helpful with me getting set up and the rooms are amazing, spacious. The morning after the wedding breakfast was great to.

    I had both my ceremony and reception at this Hilton. Getting married here was by far the best decision I have ever made in my life, short of marrying my new husband! The ceremony was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined, and they set up the reception exactly how I envisioned it. It was definitely a smart choice to do everything at a hotel, and suprisingly the food was great. I worked with the Director of Catering, Michael Zimmerman, and he was absolutely amazing. I recommend this place 100%!

    The location is ideal and its really the only place in the area to have a decent wedding. We chose the venue because of location. Its not a bad value for your money, but be advised:

    - THe in house coordinator is hard to get a hold of and she is so unresponsive. She is always out on vacation or never in her office. If you need a coordinator, DO NOT book here unless you plan to have a separate coordinator who will stay on top of things for you and with the hotel.
    -Mike Zimmerman. He is the catering director and he is the best. He is awesome and will definitely get the work done. So if you face issues, talk to him.

    If you're a super organized bride, then you should be fine. If not, prepare to hire a separate coordinator, and DO NOT rely on the in house coordinator provided from the hotel. So useless. Also, stay far far far away from a Caroline Harhai. She is by the far the worst of them all. She never gets back to anyone and she ignores you. She doesn't care about her job and she has no idea what customer service means.

    Fantastic front desk staff as well as great wait staff downstairs in the twinbrook cafe. Loved going to breakfast because everyone there was so nice.

    The Chef is great and the food was good.

    I heard Riva Neam is back at this location. Thank goodness...cause she is wonderful!

    Overall experience was good. The most of everything was included. They even upgraded the menu. The price was better then expected at a hotel. One negative thing to say about ths hotel was they lost my cake topper. It wasnt expensive but would have like to kept it.

    Riva was awesome. Hilton was a great venue and value. Atrium was perfect for us. Professional responsible, looking forward to having another event here.

    We selected the Hilton for our wedding reception after seeing the beautiful atrium. We worked with Michael Zimmerman who was very personable and professional. The Hilton staff worked hard to take a lot of the pressure off my family for the big day because they handled a lot of the details. The food was exceptional, and all of our guests had a great time. The responsiveness was not as prompt as I would have liked; at times I would not receive responses to emails for weeks. Overall, I was satisfied and had a wonderful day!

    The place is absolutely beautiful but the event coordinator gave us a lot of problems. But I have no regrets having my wedding there because it is a great place for indoor shots especially since I had a winter wedding.

    Not worth the headache

    Would advise to stay away from this location. Problems from the beginning (of course after we had already paid the first two deposits) but was too late to change venue so we anticipated problems throughout the planning and it ended up being we know this venue is going to suck but lets hope everything else goes well to make up for the bad venue. Manager has the worst communication skills and is completely disorganized. Their contracts are really poorly written and if you want 30 queen rooms you need to have 10 booked first before they release the next ten. This made sense to us so we agreed but then it took 2 months for them to correct errors on the website they made for our guests to book (wouldn't take wedding bookings any other way) and in the meantime they signed another contract and gave them first priority on all queen rooms in the hotel from then until the week before the wedding telling us they were 99% sure they wouldn't need all the queens (yes they did) and we could have the rest (weren't any left). They said that's never happened to them before and were going to redo their contracts moving forward (which didn't help us). Went down to the ballroom in the middle of getting ready for the reception (1.5 hours before cocktail hour begins) to do a quick check everything (should have been set up in the morning as per discussions) only to find out that they forgot to put the centerpieces (we were using their own centerpieces) on the tables, forgot to set up a cake table, missing a gift table, missing a favors table, missing guest book and welcome table (all thing discussed well in advance and that are pretty standard for most weddings). Spent another hour down in the ballroom while we should have been getting ready scrambling to make sure these things were done right. Because of all the issues with booking the rooms we were told that we could book some of the rooms for our guests under our names with a credit card on file and then the guest could transfer to their name and their own credit card when they checked in (since rooms are only full charged after checkout). They ended up charging the original card and the second card (two charges) for the same room for multiple rooms. Seems like an error and should be an easy fix to cancel one of the double charges but of course they didn't know how to do this either. They kept sending my poor sister in law in circles for weeks saying they couldn't do anything without the Hilton manager we worked with for the wedding and the Hilton manager said she had nothing to do with room bookings and so forth. Two weeks post wedding and the issues still wasn't resolved I think my sister-in -law is still trying. Price was on the reasonable side compared to other venues and the ballroom comfortably hold a large wedding (ours was ~250) but would not go through the headache would definitely choose a different venue if we had to do it again.
