Indian Wedding - 4 Events @ Hilton Garden of Cary
All I can say is this review does not do the venue and entire team any justice! My family and I looked into many venues in the area, but mostly hotels, so it would be convenient for out of town guests. Many of the hotels in the area are very pricey and do not budge on certain details. Right off the bat, the conversation with Claire at Hilton Garden was much easier and relaxed. She clearly walked us though pricing, details, and questions for my parents and me. After contracting, she let us know we'd be working with Devon. She made sure to transfer any knowledge over to Devon and give him some background on traditional Indian weddings so he was prepped with all the information he needed. He did not make any assumptions and asked all the right questions. Once we had a wedding planner, he worked with her directly and only pulled me in when needed. He was always a step ahead in coordinating details, logistics or asking questions.
Devon always went the extra mile. Leading up to the wedding, he would spend ample time taking care of each question or request coming from me and my planner. During the wedding, he was always there whether it was checking in our guests, tending to the vendors, or ensuring everything was going smoothly behind the scenes. He even stayed at the hotel overnight the whole wknd since we had so many back to back events that required overnight work from our vendors. He even hand delivered flowers for my hair to me at 5 am and delivered a special gift to my husband and I after our reception. The staff was always waiting on deck to support the "flips" between events so that there were no delays or hiccups. Devon would offer any and every option to us when it came to coordinating things in between events or during events (like ensuring enough chairs for guests to be seated but having additional seating where guests would later dine). I know other venues are typically not so forthcoming in trying to help their clients. I truly could not have asked for a better team and venue for my wedding! I highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn of Cary for any event you are having! -

Fabulously Executed Wedding Weekend
We recently married at the Hilton Garden Inn Cary (ceremony & reception), and I wanted to leave a few words that may help other couples as they make their venue decision. I started planning our wedding while living outside the U.S and it was important to me, to have a venue that offered packages with many inclusions, so that I would not need to piece-meal together various items/services, as I was unfamiliar with the area (not being from here).
HGI Cary offered many desirable packages and we found one that fit our needs.
As a wedding planner myself, I was very much involved in all the details however, I was VERY pleased with our point of contact, the Event Sales & Catering Manager, Devon Burnfield. Devon was very hands on and available for any and all questions big or small, he was efficient and timely in all responses and always so helpful and pleasant! As we had many out of state and out of country guests, we booked a room block for our wedding weekend. Our guests were well looked after at the Hilton Garden Inn, and the staff was so helpful and accommodating with any issues that arose. Location wise, they are located close to many stores and restaurants which made it easy for guests if they required any last-minute shopping or alternate food choices.
The Garden Grille offers a wonderful, full breakfast menu which my guests enjoyed each morning, and the wait staff were very friendly and efficient.
I, personally, really enjoyed working with Devon on the planning aspect and it was a joy to see it all come to life on our wedding day! I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a nice "all-in-one" to keep things easy and streamlined, not only for their guests for themselves as well.
My only regret is that we can't repeat the whole day one more time, just to experience it all again! :-)

Haizel & Colin's wedding July 30, 2022
Our daughter's wedding at Hilton Carry NC went beyond our expectations. We were little apprehensive about the whole event as the Bride's Parents, as we were all travelling from NY to NC for the wedding. Hats off to Event & catering Manager Devon Burnfield who took care of every detail, instant response to all emails, text messages and hundreds of phone calls between Feb & July 2022. Devon took special care of all our last minute requests. As the host of a big Indian wedding, with 187 guests travelling from all over US, India and the Middle East, everyone was so happy with the stay at the hotel as well as the pre wedding party and the wedding reception for the entire guests. What touched us the most was the delicious food, especially the Indian delicacies cooked by Hilton's own Chef, are still being craved by many of our guests. As parents of the Bride, the wedding was a very fulfilling experience for us with good memories to cherish. We believe Mr Devon Burnfield will be an asset to the Hilton Group -

What a wedding
We had Jenna as our salesperson and our event person. In our initial conversations, she was very helpful and thoughtful in her responses. We were sold on the venue after 1 visit. We made monthly payments instead the deposit and then paying the balance. That was an easy process and worked out best for us. We had to change the date due to covid and that worked out for us as well.
The wedding came out just as sold to us. Most of what we needed was covered and included in the price. That also made it a good choice because we didn’t have so many vendors to deal with. Big shouts to Jenna and all the Hilton staff for making our day great.

Beautiful Wedding Day!

Wedding that was amazing!
Choosing a venue was a hard choice but the hospitality and customer service that was offered at the Hilton Raleigh-Cary was truly outstanding. My guest were able to feel at home, while being able to relax and enjoy a weekend centered around us. The day of our event Jenna and the whole staff was a great help, especially in transitioning our ceremony into our reception. Gregg who was also apart of the staff was a tremendous help with getting anything that our guest needed that weekend. The food was amazing, and guest are still talking about how all three meal choices were delicious and they would love to return to eat at the restaurant in the lobby. Our package came with the option to choose our own table cloths, and napkins for each table. Overall this was the best experience that two grooms could ever ask for. We had an amazing experience with the Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh-Cary!! It's a long one, but it's worth the read, I promise :)
My mom and I did a lot of research on venues prior to visiting. This was the second venue that I looked at, and it was love at first sight! Jenna helped us through the entire process... She welcomed us from the first email my mom wrote her. Side note, my mom lives overseas, and Jenna made everything so easy for us; she was quick to answer emails, being friendly and very professional. We're so grateful we got to work with her through all of this.
We got married in Nov 2020, and as y'all know/can imagine, so many things were uncertain during our planning with all the restrictions for covid... And still, Jenna made us feel calm in the midst of the storm, I couldn't thank her enough!
Here, your wedding can be as simple as you'd like, or as sophisticated as you want! Also, this is a one stop shop, which is what I needed, with my parents living overseas and me working full time, I just didn't have the time to go after all the vendors, which is the scenario at a lot of other places.
There are quite a few perks to having your wedding here, just look at their package options.
All of our family/out of town guests stayed at the hotel, and I only heard compliments on the location and having everything right there, and the staff during their stay.
Also, The entire staff treat you like you're royalty, it truly is amazing!
We cannot thank Jenna enough for making the entire process so smooth and for her being so easy to work with, and fun too!!!

In February 2020 i had the most amazing 50th birthday celebration for my husband. It was absolutely "perfect!!" you may say, why was it so perfect? The service and professionalism of the staff at the Hilton Garden in was stellar. They were attentive, detail oriented, nice, they smiled and just made the event such a joy. All of our family and friends still rave about this celebration to this day. I would be remised if i did not give a HUGE shout out to the CHEF and his culinary staff. The food and appetizers were superb. The guests cleaned their plates. To say the least, I wish I had another event to plan just so I could go back again and celebrate. Jenna Light you ROCK!! I really loved my wedding experience at Hilton Garden Inn. From the food to decor every thing was wonderful. Jenna Light was our event coordinator and she did an excellent job of helping us plan for our event. We got to meet the chef at our food tasting and the food was delicious! The Hilton team was incredible from start to finish, being a LGBT couple, it was important for us to have welcoming vendors and the team at Hilton couldn't have been more welcoming. We used the hotel for blocks of rooms as well as our wedding after-party. Out of town guests loved the hotel breakfast and amenities as well as the proximity to shopping/entertainment in Crossroads. A shuttle was provided for guests to & from our venue! One error with the after-party was that the bartender was unaware we were coming and had been told we would descend the night prior. Aside from running out of glassware, the bartender and our guests made due and had a very nice time.Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh-Cary's reply:
