The Chicago Hilton and its employees were OUTSTANDING for our September wedding. VENUE: The Grand Ballroom is unlike any reception venue in Chicago - our guests were blown away by how beautiful it was, and it’s a large enough venue for our big group (300). SERVICE: We worked with Robert Neubert to plan our day, and we can’t say enough how fantastic he was to work with. He was professional and timely in all correspondence, accommodating of event requests, and helpful in planning the reception menu and order of events. Additionally, the dinner service team, check-in desk, bell hops, valets, and everyone who interacted with our guests were pleasant and kind. We received many compliments on how friendly the staff was throughout the weekend, and how they stayed on top of important dietary restrictions during dinner. FOOD: Our dinner was incredible. Sometimes you go to large weddings and your plate looks like it was made on a banquet-hall assembly line - that is NOT the case at The Hilton! Every dish was plated like you were at a 4-star restaurant, and people couldn’t stop talking about the lobster bisque and filet paired with shrimp. Their chefs worked one-on-one with us at the tasting to create options for gluten free and vegan guests as well, who were very appreciative to have such delicious options. Our cake was stunning as well, based on a picture I showed them from Pinterest, and tasted good too! AFTER-PARTY & BRUNCH: We hosted both an after-party (Kitty O'Sheas) and brunch (720 South Grill) and everything was planned perfectly by the Hilton, especially David Tinsley! Our guests greatly enjoyed both events and loved that everything was in one place. ROOM BLOCKS: Easy online booking. And they delivered our guest welcome bags to the rooms! — If you’ve read this far and are considering the Chicago Hilton for your wedding, we hope this helped! Robert Neubert, The Grand Ballroom, and the Hilton staff come highly recommended from a happy Chicago bride & groom!

The Hilton Chicago is an old hotel with a classy feel, that is why I wanted my wedding in their ballroom. It is one of (if not the) nicest ballrooms in Chicago. The uplighting made that ballroom look even prettier than I could have ever imagined. Robert personally handled our wedding details and made sure the food was exquisite. Its been almost a week after my wedding and I still have people complimenting my venue, the food and the service. The Hilton always goes above and beyond!

Hilton is a wonderful place to have your wedding at. The ballroom is classy and elegant. My out of town guests were extremely pleased with the rooms too. Overall, great experience, highly recommend.

We booked a hotel block and the wedding suite at the Hilton Chicago for our wedding. Hotel was clean and gorgeous but beware two things:

    1. Parking is extremely expensive, and invariably you will need to pay parking for your makeup and photography vendors, not to mention coordinator and florist. Budget $300-$600 more depending on how many people you need to park.

    2. The billing department is useless. It’s 3 weeks after our wedding and we are still working with them to fix mistakes they made in the first place to charge our guest’s and vendor’s credit cards for charges associated with rooms we booked. They are “flexible” and willing to work with you but keep making mistakes so you end up working weeks with them on silly issues
