    Lovely space, accommodating people!

    I loved having our wedding ceremony and reception at Heritage Event Spaces, 1923 Room. It was beautiful through and through. There were so many locations at the venue for gorgeous pictures, the bridal suite was phenomenal, the space for the ceremony and reception was elegant and intimate (but still quite spacious!), and the event coordinators were lovely and kind people. They answered all my questions throughout the whole process, and they were understanding of our unique needs. I fully recommend.

    Excellent space

    We loved the event space. The space was perfect for our reception. The team that we worked with was friendly, helpful, and overall wonderful. Would highly recommend working with them.

    Everything was perfect

    The team at Heritage Events made it super easy to plan everything. We chose their Armour Loft Event Space, which will be closing, but I know you will get the same service at any of their locations. They respond quickly, are affordable, have recommendations to make on almost anything you might ask. The whole process was just super easy and left me with little to worry about.

    Choosing to hold our reception at one of the Heritage Event Spaces was such a great decision. Joe and Kelsey were so easy to work with and very helpful throughout our entire planning process. I could genuinely tell they wanted our event to be perfect for us and all of our guests. The venue takes care of tables, linens, chairs, set up, and clean up. It was such a huge help! The open vendor policy was also great, we had more control over the rest of our wedding budget. We highly recommend!

    Joe was very professional and friendly through my entire wedding planning process! He answered emails and phone calls in a timely manner. Heritage was an awesome space and I would recommend it to anyone!

    We booked Brookside Gardens for our wedding before it was finished and because of that, got a discounted price on it. We knew it was going to be a great space the moment we walked in. The space itself is beautiful with a really cool wood bar, a LARGE bridal suite upstairs (Seriously, it is a great size!), and a deck out back with pretty Italian lights strung across. Another reason we booked the venue was because of the flexibility in vendors they offer! We could use any caterer, alcohol, and band we wanted! If you want a DJ, you have to use theirs but we wanted a band, so that was waved. Joe was totally accommodating to our needs. We wanted a family style meal which required more prep space than what was in their kitchen. He made sure our caterer had enough space for it. He was incredibly responsive with any questions I had and always made me feel like as long as I was happy, he was happy. Joe let us set up the space the day before the wedding, a huge help! On the day of the wedding, the bridal suite was a great place for the bridal party to hang out before the reception began! And when the guests started arriving the reception went very smoothly! I would definitely recommend Brookside Gardens, and any of Joe's spaces to anyone getting married!

    Our wedding was booked through Heritage Event Spaces, specifically at the Heritage Hall location. Joe Dugdale and his wife were very helpful throughout the whole wedding process. He is super flexible and main goal is to make the bride "his girls" happy... that also includes the mothers (he should set up a side business for mother of the bride/groom counseling, Haha). I was able to go to the site multiple times to look at the hall and take measurements or whatever else I needed. They make everything super easy. Platinum Productions is the DJ company that is contracted with them... they are EXCELLENT and have a discounted rate at the Heritage Event Spaces. They have a contract with bar tending Co., PM Bar tending, which is nice having them already ready for you. You can chose your own catering which is a positive for me and my husband. We were not fans of venues who had specific catering companies to use because not all of the vendors were in our budget. Overall, I would recommend Heritage Event Spaces to any couple who are looking for a beautiful, flexible, and affordable venue to have your wedding with great customer service.     We had our wedding reception at The Monarch Room. It was BEAUTIFUL. I was not too big into décor and the little details, but that's what was so great about this space, it had its own vibe as is, but could decorate to our liking. We were so fortunate to have an amazing sunset during our reception and our guests are still talking about the view.
    I think there is a trend in the review that Joe and his wife are easy to work with and laid back. I could not agree more. I am not sure he ever says "no" to any of his brides. Highly recommend.

    LOVE LOVE LOVED our wedding at the Monarch Room by Heritage Event Spaces!!! It was the best day of our lives. Joe was super responsive and helpful, also very flexible since we lived out of town. The price was amazing and the location was incredible! If you are looking to get married in downtown KC go with the Monarch Room, without a doubt.

    My experience with Joe Dugale and Heritage Event Spaces was absolutely wonderful. This was not only one of the most affordable venues I found in the Kansas City area, but also the quality of service and attentiveness we received in making our wedding day perfect was top-notch. My wedding was at Armour Loft in North Kansas City, and it was a gorgeous venue and great location for our special day. Joe accommodated and executed every detail of our vision perfectly. I would highly, highly recommend!

    The Monarch Room:

    I planned a wedding while living in a different state. We booked at the Monarch Room before I was able to see it in person but the pictures my family sent made me fall in love with the space. I was anxious about not being able to see it in person but with a prime location in the Crossroad District I knew I had to act fast and book our date. When I finally got to see the venue in person I was so pleased! I loved the rich wood in the space, the large floor to ceiling windows, and the smooth dance floor.

    Joe, the owner, is fantastic to work with. He was very prompt answering all of my emails. Also he has established quite the network of quality vendors to partner with. Off his recommendation I found our church, caterer, DJ, and bartender. Located at 17th & McGee the block is a one stop shop for so many of your bridal needs. There is a church, salon, DJ and Screenland Theater with full service bar and restaurant. Parking downtown is very limited, but Joe has made sure there is plenty of parking available near the venue. We had the ceremony at New City Life Church and our guests only had to walk 150ft to attend the reception at The Monarch Room. The venue is also very close to the P&L District.

    Now that the wedding is over, I look at pictures and I am still so pleased with our location. The Monarch Room photographed beautifully! We had several guests compliment us on the venue. The Bridal Prep Room was incredibly useful to store products and freshen up during the night for myself and my bridesmaids.

    My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Monarch Room about a month ago. The space was exactly what we wanted for our simple, yet elegant wedding of 170 guests. You could certainly hold more guests/tables than we had but we liked the large dance floor and open floor plan for people to mingle and it never got too loud or crowded in any given area, even around the bar! Having fewer tables also allowed us to leave the space in front of the, floor-to-ceiling, windows in the front of the room open for everyone's enjoyment and provided a beautiful view of Downtown KC, and backdrop for all our dances and speeches. The venue was conveniently located near the Power & Light district, as well as, to Crown Center where our hotel block was located. Joe was amazing to work with and allowed us to be creative. He was very flexibly and willing to meet us at the space at a moments notice. This was especially appreciated since we live in Dallas and were planning our wedding from afar. He was great a corresponding via email and was always available over the phone as well. The best thing about the space (besides the amazing windows and view) is that it's basically a blank canvas in a cool space, in a great location, for you to do as you please. Round tables, linens, and chairs are provided in the contract and there are many vendors that Joe works closely with that are extremely professional, comfortable, and know what they are doing in the space. Overall we were very happy with our choice to host our reception in this space and we would recommend it to anyone.

    The Monarch Room was our perfect wedding reception location! We loved the aesthetic of the space and the location. It looks especially beautiful at night with all the lights and windows overlooking the beautiful KC skyline. The space has the perfect amount of detail while still allowing you to add our own personal touches. The best part is, Joe is absolutely awesome to work with! He will make sure your event is perfect. He was so attentive throughout the entire process and was even there on our special day to 'check-in'. Our guests could not stop complimenting how beautiful and fun the venue was. And we loved it!!

    Brookside Gardens has actualy just opened on 63rd St. in the Brookside neighborhood. We signed our contract even just based on the unfinished venue. LOVE the space, the bride/groom room setup upstairs is great. We love the huge back patio and the cherry stained wood everywhere. It definitely helped that we signed our contract before the venue's first event and got a lower rate! So excited for our wedding here next summer.

    Armour Loft was perfect for our event! Not only was it affordable, it was also beautiful. Joe did an amazing job and was available for all of my requests/questions/freak outs. I loved being able to get married in the theatre and then just going up the stairs for the reception. Also, the bridal room was unique and fun. I can't say enough good things about our experience! Our wedding day was perfection!

    Joe and his team were so professional and made our wedding absolutely perfect. Paul and I are forever thankful for having such a wonderful group of people to work with to make our wedding reception everything we ever wanted it to be. Joe himself was very flexible in working to accommodate certain needs and wants that we had. The evening of the reception, Joe's son helped out a great deal by moving tables, rearranging seating charts, and helping to keep things neat and organized. They are truly awesome people and I would recommend working with Heritage Event Spaces to anyone who wants to have a perfect wedding like we did!!!

    We cannot thank Joe and Ann enough. Our day was amazing! Ann saw we were having trouble decorating so she jumped right in to help. Joe was very kind to let us take our decorations down the day after rather than that night since the space was not booked on Sunday. Also, the business partners (DJ and Bar service) we were contracted to work with shared the same professionalism and service. Couldn't have asked for a better team! Thank you!

    We love this venue! Our wedding was beautiful and the venue provided us with more than adequate space. It's already decorated a bit so we didn't have to do very much to make it beautiful and incorporate our wedding colors. Joe worked with me from the beginning and got me in touch with all the vendors that helped make our day spectacular. He also made sure that the tables were arranged perfectly to make our smaller event feel intimate. The bridal suite had plenty of room for my makeup artist to set up a table and chairs to work on the 9 faces and hair she did that day. All of the bridesmaids and some friends and family were able to comfortably spend some time in the bridal suite getting ready for pictures.
    The parking accommodated our 150 guests with no confusion or problems. All in all, I am so glad I decided to have my wedding here.

    I loved everything about the Monarch Room for our wedding reception. The location is great. The venue is beautiful. Joey was so helpful. He answered so many questions and put my mind at ease when I would get stressed. The other staff were just as great. We got so many compliments on the venue.

    Joe was so helpful in our wedding planning process! Whenever we needed to meet up at Heritage Hall (which was several times to get a gage on decor ideas!), he would meet us within that week. Recently, they added a soda gun machine which is super convenient when ordering alcohol; it was less to worry about and a very reasonable price. He also had a backdrop on the stage where the head tables sat that truly illuminated the room and make it much fuller! I have been to several weddings there before, and when we got engaged, we knew exactly where we wanted to have ours because of the high recommendations we had from friends.

    I had my wedding reception at Heritage Hall in Liberty, MO and I could not have been more pleased. We were limited with venues because of our large guest list and this fit perfectly, allowing 350 guests. Joe was super helpful and kind, as was his wife. The venue had everything we needed. We did have to use their dj/photobooth/bartending people, but they were all great and decently priced as well. I would recommend Heritage Hall to all of my friends.

    Several months ago I had my at the Monarch Room in The Crossroads District in downtown Kansas City. The location was wonderful and the venue beautiful with its walls of floor to ceiling windows overlooking the City. I could rave and rave about how beautiful it is but I could never do just how spectacular it is justice. The only way you will truly know is to see it for yourself. Now just as the much as the Monarch Room is beautiful that is how wonderful Joe from Heritage Event Spaces is to work with. He was very laid back and up front about everything. He never tried to sell me on anything. I never felt pressured to do things a certain way. At Heritage Event Spaces their main concern is that your event be everything that YOU want it to be and not how they think it should be. I never felt like he was just out to make money and that meant a lot to me. Even though they have hundreds of other clients I always felt like I was their top priority which is a good feeling. With something as important as a wedding it's a relief to feel like you never have to worry if something is going to be taken care. Going back to your event being everything that you want it to be Heritage Event Spaces allows you total freedom when deciding on where your alcohol and food comes from. This is something that a lot of other event spaces do not offer. Another great thing is that you get the event space all day. You are not confined to a four hour window and then having to pay hundreds of dollars for every additional hour, again this is something that is very rare to find. The best part is it's affordable and its a fraction of what it costs for other venues in the area. It is honestly the best deal that you will find and you will be working with the best people. Again I could go on and on but I won't. You will just have to check them out for yourself! Also they have more than just the downtown location so if downtown isn't your scene don't worry the surely have something else for you!

    I had my reception at the Monarch Room in downtown Kansas City. We were looking for a venue that we could bring in our own catering without choosing from a specific list, as well as our own alcohol. This company allowed for both.
    The owners were very easy to work with and made the planning process much more enjoyable. They were very quick to respond to any text, email, or phone call and met with me on multiple occasions to let me look at the space and ask questions.
    Their price is very reasonable and the space was gorgeous! It was the perfect mixture of urban and elegant!
    I was so pleased with the space and would recommend any friend of mine to use Heritage Event Spaces.

    We could not have picked a better venue for our reception. The space is beautiful, clean and spacious! Joe and his wife were always accomodating and had wonderful suggestions for all of our reception needs. We even contacted them a few times before the big day just to come and look at the space again. Anything you need or want, they will help with. The other vendors we used knew the venue well and our reception was flawless because of it! We loved that Heritage Hall had a partnership with Platinum Productions, it was one less decision we had to make. Our DJ was fantastic and he made our reception a production! Our guests loved the game we played and danced the night away. It was a 5 star event thanks to Heritage Hall and Platinum Productions.

    Joe and Anne were wonderful throughout the whole process. They helped in ways I didn't expect wedding venue owners to help. they worked with me to ensure I had the best day ever. I highly recommend any and all of their venues if you have a chance get to check all of them out.

    This venue was perfect for our wedding rehearsal!! Joe and his wife were very flexible with our schedule and how we wanted the place to look. They went above and beyond for us and the communication was great! We highly recommend Heritage Hall!

    the wedding in the theatre was awsome, several comments on the seating and the ability to see and hear
    everything, the event space was perfect for the size party we had. (around a 100).

    Joe and his wife Anna were awesome to work with!!! Joe responded to every phone call, email and text very quickly!!! It was a wonderful place to hold the wedding/reception! I would recommend this to anyone who would like to have character to their venue!!

    I loved Joe and Heritage Hall they were great to work with. The only downside is you have to use a certain DJ service which was a little pricey and our DJ played the wrong songs. There are several DJ's that work with the company we must have got the one bad one. Everything else was perfect.

    We chose The Monarch Room for our daughter's wedding reception after a previous vendor lost her lease and cancelled our contract just months before the scheduled event. Joe Dugdale went above and beyond both to reassure us after our earlier bad experience and then deliver exactly what he promised and more. The facility itself was a great venue. Even more, Joe and his son Josh were wonderful to work with. I appreciate and value both their integrity and their attention to customer service.

    We had our reception in the Armour Loft Space and were able to hold the wedding downstairs inside the Screenland Theatre. I grew up watching movies at that theatre as a kid so to be inside the totally refurbished theatre for our special day was pretty magical. Joe with Heritage Event Spaces is a dream to work with. He's friendly, laid back and promptly returns calls and emails. They make it simple with exclusive DJ & bar service already established, you choose your own caterer. The loft space is beautiful with its large fireplace, beautiful wood floors and windows all around. They also have a spacious bridal suite to get ready in and an elevator should you or your guests need it.

    My daughter had her wedding at The Armour Loft last Saturday. It turned out wonderfully. The space has enough decorations (white lights, lanterns, etc.) to give it character but you can also do a lot of your own decorating.

    The best thing about the space is the owner - Joe Dugdale. He quickly responds to emails and always help you out if at all possible. He allowed us to decorate the day before the wedding because he did not have event booked that day, even though we only the space contracted for the day of the wedding. This was a HUGE help to us. He is also willing to let you use the space to meet other vendors (DJ, caterer, etc.)

    Joe also made great suggestions - hotel, florist, found a way for us to have a TV at the reception since the Royals were in the World Series, etc.

    The large built in bar is also a nice touch. You must use the bartenders from the downstairs, but the price seemed reasonable and they did a fine job.

    You must also use Platinum Productions for DJ. Because there was no choice, I didn't compare prices, but their sound system and lights are installed in the venue and they looked and sounded great. They also brought in a photobooth which was a big hit.

    We used the event space for our wedding reception. Joe was great and extremely fair and flexible when it came to our event. I would recommend these guys for any medium to large size event.

    The Loft was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the entire wedding planning process. They responded quickly to our (many) questions even late at night as the event approached. There was no hastle whatsoever and the space was beautifully set up exactly how we expected. I would recommend The Loft to anyone!

    We held our wedding reception at Amour Loft (next to the Screenland Theatre). We didn't want a cookie-cutter hotel ballroom to celebrate our big day. The hardwood floors and exposed ceilings at the Loft were fun and unique. Joe was great to work with! He answered questions by phone and email. He also met us at the venue a few times while we were designing our centerpieces so we could look around and take measurements.

    The space is available early in the morning so you can set up without having to worry about any last-minute decorating. We loved that tables, chairs and linens were included in our package. Having a few less items to worry about was a relief. Another great benefit was the built-in stereo system. Guests at the back of the room are able to chat comfortably while the dance floor is rocking!

    Joe was familiar with our vendors and we had no issues getting everyone on the same page for delivery and set-up. Stocking the bar ourselves was a huge way to save money and also choose the exact brands we wanted to serve. We've received many compliments on our reception and thank Heritage Events for making it a great evening!

    This was the absolute perfect space for our wedding reception! Heritage Hall has a specific DJ vender and the bartenders which made it very nice and easy so I didn't have to do research to find the best DJs or bartenders in town. The owner Joe was SO helpful and always willing to answer my calls/questions at any time night or day. The price is very reasonable for such a beautiful space! I have already recommended Heritage Hall to all of my friends who are getting married.

    Joe and Ann from Heritage Hall were amazing to work with. I am so happy I picked to have my reception at Heritage Hall. They were so easy to work with, answered questions/concerns and phone calls so quickly and helped to make our day run so smooth. They were so helpful when it came to decorations and placement, where to set up the cake table, heck they even called me the night before to tell me one of my centerpieces had died so I could get a new one! :) The decorations at Heritage Hall are so beautiful, and Joe and Ann definitly keep Heritage Hall looking wonderful. They were so professional with running the photo booth, and my scrapbook looks incredible. I am so happy with how my reception turned out and would tell everyone getting married to book here!!!!

    This venue was amazing. We got married as well as had our reception in one location as many of our guests were from out of town. The drapes on the ceiling are there, the lighting is in place, it was lovely. I was able to save quite a bit of money bringing in my own liquor as well as my own catering. I can't recommend Joe or his venues more.

    They have reasonable pricing and were very helpful and accommodating.
    The space looked beautiful and I didn't have to worry about anything cause they were so flexible with me.

    Joe is wonderful to work with. He would respond to emails immediately, was always willing to meet at the space so you could measure or look at something, and was just a genuine nice guy. He always talks about taking care of "his brides," you can tell he really cares about you and making sure you have everything you need to make your day stress free. The space is awesome, we did a little movie themed stuff in the stairway and hall, and we used the movie marquee for engagement and wedding day pictures which everyone thought was amazing. Its a nice big open space that lends itself to decorating however you want and it was so reasonably priced. I'm a hard to please woman and I expect a lot out of people I do business with, this is a glowing recommendation from a type A personality, that should tell you a lot.

    I would highly recommend using The Heritage Hall as your wedding/reception venue. The Heritage Hall is very unique and can be decorated in so many ways to fit any type of wedding. Joe and Anne were great to work with. They did whatever they could to make sure my day ran smoothly and made sure I was able to relax and enjoy everything. Our wedding was at our church which was about 40 min away from The Heritage Hall so Joe took the time text me on the day to tell me that everything at the hall looked fabulous for the reception just to re-assure me since I couldn't be two places at once! You can bring in your own food and alcohol which is very convenient and saves money. You do have to hire bartenders from 3 Blondes & A Martini but they are very affordable, easy to work with, and definitely worth it. They have an in house photo booth we are so glad we used it, Anne creates a book of all the images taken throughout the night and its awesome!! They also have DJ service available, I highly recommend using Andrew, he's awesome!! Joe and Anne with The Heritage Hall really have it all together to make your day go smoothly. Give them a call you will not be disappointed!! :o)

    Everyone loved this venue for our wedding reception. We had enough room for our large group without the space being so large that it didn't feel personal. Joe was amazing to work with and gave us ample time in the venue to set up and take down all of the extra stuff we had set up.

    This is the perfect venue for a more intimate gathering. We loved the art deco style on the kitchen doors, bar and fireplace. The hardwood floors were beautiful. This venue has that 1920s vibe with the wooden vaulted ceiling and exposed ductwork. When my guests first entered the venue they gasped and immediately asked how I found this place! There is plenty of room for the optional leather seating in a corner and still have a dance floor. For us it was also a winner because we were not required to use a caterer. We brought in our own BBQ and side dishes. Decorating is easy because with the lower ceilings you don't need a super tall wedding cake or tall table decorations to fit with the scale of the room.
    The owner's were terrific. They are going to remodel the kitchen but we were able to work around its current state. Joe and Ann made sure we had everything we needed to make this event one that everyone will remember! I wish I had another party to plan!

    Joe and his crew were absolutely great to work with. They gave their best to accomodate our needs and helped the evening flow smoothly. We rented their on-site photo booth and they worked with us to allow us to display the photos a little differently than they normally do--we brought & used a "tree" so that those attending could look at the photos throughout the evening instead of them going right in a scrapbook. They made the process easy. Very friendly and helpful with everything we asked. I would recommend them to anyone!

    My husband and I had an excellent experience at Heritage Hall. Joe and his wife made us feel like more than "just another couple". It's a great place, the set up, the atmosphere, its all so perfect. Our wedding felt very elegant, but still laid back and "us". We are so glad we had our wedding and reception at Heritage Hall. It was truly the greatest night ever!!

    We used Heritage Hall in Independence for our daughter's wedding reception. This space was amazing! It was spacious, clean, and had more than enough off street parking. The people were very accommodating when it came to setting up. We would definitely use them again.

    I held my wedding reception at the Monarch Room KC, and Heritage Event Spaces was an excellent business to work with!! They were quick with responding to emails and the space was absolutely beautiful! I didn't need many of my own decorations and the large windows looking out at downtown KC were amazing. I was able to get into the space the day before to decorate so I didn't need to worry about any of that the day of the wedding. The staff is very friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this space to a friend or anyone in KC looking for a beautiful event space in the Crossroads District!

    Joe is so accommodating to everything I asked for. I was grandfatherd into my contract so I didn't have to use the required vendors he has in the new contracts. I had a great reception here but I got to use all of my own vendors with out a fee.

    One of the best parts about booking at the Armour Loft was working with Joe. He was laid back yet professional, extremely helpful and flexible, and made sure we had everything we needed for the big day. The price is is an amazing value and the fact that you get to choose your catering company and bring in your own alcohol will end up saving you thousands. I would recommend the Armour Loft and any of the other Heritage Event Spaces to any engaged couple.

    Armour Loft and Screenland Theater was great for our wedding and reception and Joe was so helpful with all my billion email questions!I The fact that I had a chance to set up the day before was incredibly helpful and I am so grateful for that! I would definitely recommend it to a friend. My only feedback on opportunity for improvement is concerning the DJ service, Platinum Productions. This may not be the best forum for feedback on this aspect, (Ill see if they have a survey directly though them too) but I just wanted to suggest NOT making it a non-negotiable part of renting the venue to use them. I know the argument was that a DJ was necessary to make the reception the best it could be but to the contrary, the DJ was the only part of the day that let us down a bit. Our DJ, Kyle is very nice and he did great job with our first dance songs etc and MCing, but he did not stick to our playlist when I made it very clear at our meeting to do that. He redeemed himself later after being told TWICE to stick to the play list. He also did not have the name of my matron of honor ready for the introductions and pronounced her name incorrectly when we specifically went over her name at the meeting as well. I know DJing is much harder than it looks but I feel like we could have paid a friend half of that for a better service (we know several who DJ, I would rather have supported them). I know Jacob and I were probably the only people who noticed but I worked for a year and a half on that play list (it was 10x longer than what there was time for but I told him he could've picked anything from it-I included fast. slow, pop, rock, many options). Thanks for letting me give feedback. The Joe, Screenland and The Loft team were just perfect!!

    We had a great time as did our guests! Wish the theater had more lighting. Also wanted to use both the front and side marquee but had to pick one. The space was fabulous as was the DJ! We will recommend to friends!

    The Armour Loft is an unbelievable venue for an unbelievable value! This is the perfect venue for brides that are wanting a beautiful loft wedding/reception but without the typical loft venue price tag. The venue is also perfect for brides who want to do their own catering. We were originally planning to do our own catering but changed our minds at the last minute. We did, however, bring in our own alcohol which worked out nicely. Joe and Ann were very nice and easy to work with and quickly responded to my emails (typically within a day). I asked to bring my family by a few times before the big day and they were always accommodating.

    The one bummer is that we had to use the Screenland bartender (which is why I gave only 4 stars for Professionalism). Our Bartender came stomping through the venue when we were trying to setup for the wedding the night before, not saying a word. My maid of honor and I were confused by his presence and I asked "Hi, are you the bartender?" to which he replied "yeah". Then, on the night of the wedding, I was told that he left before the contracted hours were up and took a handful of our beers when he left. I found this quite annoying, but all in all, not a huge deal. Another thing to note is that when you use Armour Loft you have a choice of a band or DJ, but if you choose to use a DJ you must go with their preferred DJ Service (Platinum Productions). Unlike the bartending service, I would recommend this DJ to anyone no matter what the occasion. The DJ was a bit pricey, but SO worth it! Honestly, a DJ will make or break a party and ours was amazing. Everyone had a wonderful time thanks to him. All in all, I would highly recommend this venue!

    Appreciated everything about the venue for our needs. The only "complaint" that I have is that the gal that served as our bartender showed up 15 minutes late to let us in. Then she helped us get set up and left for 1.5 hours to go check on another event. She was back just as our event was getting started, I just was not made aware of her leaving until after she was gone.

    The only complaints I have is that "some" gauranteed parking was promised on signing. None was available for my guest as it was a busy night. Also that it is required that Platinum Productions was used. Very bad experience with that company. Kyle, DJ was awful. No communication and played the wrong first dance at reception. Would not take requests from guests as well.

    They were very quick in responding to any questions that I had, and also helped with the planning of the set-up of the venue. My only complaints were that there were a few weak spots in the floor, that someone could have gotten hurt on. My husband and I covered the main weak spot with our table, so there would be no chance of that happening. Other factors that contributed to our slight disappointment in the venue were that we did not get all of the flavors of soda that we paid for, and we were told they couldn't accommodate kegs of beer and when we got there, other groups had clearly used them (leftover kegs in the fridge). We could have definitely save money if the truth had been told. The bartending staff was not the best. I don't think he carded anyone....and he also started serving a high dollar bottle of liquor that was saved for a game during the event, rather than the copious amounts of well liquor that was behind the bar. I know that the venue isn't necessarily "responsible" for the bartending staff (we were also told they dealt with the soda issue), but this is the vendor that they choose to work with.
