Erica with Helping Hands is a planning genius. We wanted a LED dance floor, she found us a LED dance floor. We wanted a break dancer to perform at our wedding, she found a break dancer to perform at our wedding. We had a lot of strange ideas for our wedding. Everything that we wanted, she was able to find vendor that we needed or she and her team were able to provide it for us. A LOT of our wedding changed last minute and Erica was able to conquer every task that came her way. She was there whenever we needed her. She was on top of everything. I know and she probably knows (lol) that no one would be able to pull this crazy wedding off expect for her.

We used Helping Hand Parties, and Erica threw my husband and I a perfect wedding reception. She patiently entertained our vague concepts and ideas and turned them into reality. Want people to have fun and play games outside? No problem. Pairing that with a tasteful indoor dinner filled with numerous floral arrangements and a myriad of candles? Somehow, also no problem. Erica is a godsend!
Erica was a godsend! Everyone in our families lives at opposite ends of the country -- my daughter and her fiance in NY, me in CA, bridesmaids and groomsmen scattered across two continents... the wedding to be held next to a lake out in the middle of Alabama. A challenge, to say the least! But our daughter's dreams of her glorious wedding day became a reality with Erica's attention to detail, her endless energy and insight, and her personal caring. Although based in Huntsville, Erica's sources and resources extend far beyond the local environs. She provided us with topnotch options for rentals, vendors, traditions and more, accommodating our venue which was nearly an hour outside of HSV. Her recommendations truly shaped our entire weekend, leaving us all with beautiful and loving memories we will forever treasure.
The planning along the way was meticulous and reassuring. Erica's accurate timelines and scheduled reminders of what-needs-to-be-done-by-when gave us a welcome structure that took the guesswork out of staging an event of this size. And when unexpected surprises invariably arose, Erica tackled each problem with her calm and resourceful ability to "pivot". We thank our lucky stars to have found "the best in the biz", when we engaged this lovely person as our wedding planner.

An Unforgettable Day, One Amazing Lady Coordinating it!
Erica is the owner of helping hands, and she gives 110% to her couples. My son and his fiance were married May 25, 2024. She met with them weekly at first and then as needed. She would give them tips, listen to what they wanted at the wedding and rehearsal and brought it to fruition. She guided this process from 1,400 miles away! She help them stay on budget and meet their minimum requirements for the venue. The day of the we rehearsal dinner and the day of the wedding she was there making sure the bride and bridesmaids were on schedule without being overbearing. Lie having a second mom ready to help. She kept the groom and the grooms men on schedule too. We had a couple issues with signage, our fault, and she was quick to come up with a solution so none was the wiser there was an error. I have one more son and I will use Erica and Helping Hands again. I only wished I had used her before.

Dream Wedding
We went to Erica with a vague idea of our dream wedding: something that combined our love of live music with an elegant, classy atmosphere. We had no clue where to start, but from our first meeting, Erica completely understood our vision. She asked insightful questions and offered brilliant ideas, helping us shape those rough concepts into the best wedding we could have imagined.
Thanks to her, our wedding was unique and unforgettable. We had dueling pianos, exceptional vendors, and countless personalized touches that we never would have thought of on our own. The number of guests who came up to us afterward to say it was the best wedding they’d ever attended speaks volumes about her expertise and attention to detail.

Erica Thimsen is the perfect wedding planner. She was outstanding from our first meeting to the final clean up! I am the mother of the bride and my daughter lives out of town with the wedding being held in Huntsville. Erica was extremely flexible in meeting with us when Katie was in town. Erica got to know Katie and her fiance and got a feel for their vision and she helped create a perfect day! Eric was a God sent when I chose her to be my Wedding Planner, she was very professional, insightful, providing great ideas and leading us away from bad decisions. Erica is the woman behind all the magic that was our wedding day! She listened to everything we wanted and made sure it happened. We did the "month of/coordinator" package, so we had to book the vendors ourselves and communicate with them until the month of the wedding when Erica took it from there. She was easy to talk to, very communicative, and asked lots of questions to make sure there was no detail that hadn't been covered. We seriously wouldn't have been able to do it without her. She gave us suggestions for vendors and everyone she suggested was top notch and professional. Erica was a God send and she make our day run so smoothly, on time, and without any hiccups that I was aware of (she probably didn't tell us so we did not stress haha). Do yourself a favor and have Erica be your right hand woman...you won't regret it!!!

Erica was a godsend! My husband and I are busy people. We knew from the beginning that we would need help. Our goal was that none of our family or friends would have to work at our wedding.
I was never the bride that knew exactly what I wanted. I knew I wanted my wedding day to be beautiful but didn’t have a specific vision for it. Erica helped take what little ideas I had and made it absolutely beautiful! She had a wide variety of vendor contacts to help achieve our goals and do it within the budget we wanted.
Erica was very organized. We had regular check ins with progressive check lists. I love a check list! I knew exactly what I needed to do throughout all the stages of the planning process. It was very comforting to know that all the details were taken care of. If it wasn’t on my list, I didn’t worry about it!
Our wedding day way perfect!! It was very well organized and went so smoothly. We had a very detailed schedule that let everyone know when and where they were supposed to be. While I got to spend the morning focusing on getting hair and makeup done and spending time with my best girls, Erica was ensuring that everything was taken care of. I might have been the most relaxed bride there ever was! The rest of the day went just as smoothly with many compliments from our guests.
Hiring Erica was by far the best decision we made in the entire process! Erica saved us a lot of stress and worry and helped ensure that my husband and I still liked each other at the end of the day!

The idea of planning a wedding was always daunting for us. We wanted something personable but we did not like the idea of dealing with all the stress of customizations. We picked a venue that was not in our area, and when we found Erica she helped significantly and always guided us in the right direction and gave us great advice. She was willing to check out venues herself. Erica was always right and we wished we would have taken her recommendations more when she warned us about certain things! Planning my daughter's wedding, which took place in Huntsville while I live in suburban Chicago, could have

Helped have the day of our dreams!
Our primary planner was Lynn and she was there to help us every step of the way with vendor suggestions and last minute fixes (including a run to the store the day of to find bubbles because we couldn't find the ones I packed). This was so helpful because I was planning our Roundhouse wedding from Atlanta and didn't have time to go meet a lot of vendors. They recommended the perfect people for our vision which really helped me spend less time in meetings and on the phone. The day of Lynn and Erica were both there to make sure that our day went as smoothly as possible and looked just like we had envisioned it. They made sure that we stayed on schedule and a lot of time together as a couple throughout our day. Highly recommend!

Our daughter and new son’s wedding was perfect! That was only possible with the amazing help and guidance of Erica Thimsen of Helping Hand Parties & Wedding. A rating of 5.0 is not high enough for the level of support she provided us! Erica is so professional, kind, thorough and easy to work with. She has a sweet laugh and gentle style, but there was no doubt that she was in control and invested in making sure that the wedding was exactly what we wanted. Planning a wedding is hard enough, but we live in Atlanta and were planning a wedding in Huntsville. Erica listened and really understood our vision, which at times was not very clear to us. She knows everyone in Huntsville, recommended top vendors, and made it possible for us to put together the A team of people who made the vision a reality. She used a planning process that ensured that we discussed and planned every aspect of the wedding, and so that nothing would fall through the cracks. Prior to the wedding she sent checklists every few months, breaking down what needed to be done into manageable chunks. She was always available to answer questions, make wonderful suggestions and help us think through details we didn’t even know we needed to think about. No detail was too small to escape her attention and she was on top of everything. My highest praise for Erica, is that on the weekend of the wedding we were all able to relax, have fun and really enjoy the celebration. I decided to go with the Helping Hands Month Of Coordination package for my wedding. My husband and I had been engaged for over two years and I had done a good chunk of planning myself and just needed someone to make sure everything flowed and tie up all the loose ends for Wedding Day. From my first meeting with Lynn, I knew she was going to be amazing, especially when she started asking meticulous details I had not even thought of. She handled all the logistics of wedding day and gave recommendations and suggestions on parts I was unsure about. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she emailed me wedding questionnaires that we would go over in our meetings to make sure each and every detail was discussed. She was prompt in responding back to my many questions over text and email and even sent me updated master timelines for wedding day. She contacted all my vendors leading up to wedding day and coordinated their tasks and arrival times.
On wedding day, Lynn made sure everyone involved in the wedding party and family was stress free and enjoyed themselves. She even coordinated setting up a private dinner for my husband and I to enjoy alone, since being able to eat our wedding food was a priority to me. If anything did go wrong on the day of the wedding, I was never aware of it. My bridesmaids and family came up to me during the reception and told me they couldn't believe how smooth the whole day had gone, thanks to Lynn.
Now that the wedding is over, if I could tell any bride out there what to make sure they include in their budget, I would stress to them YOU NEED A WEDDING COORDINATOR. No bride on wedding day wants to be running around trying to make decisions on what goes where or when will this vendor show up and point them where to go. Additionally, no bridesmaid wants to be setting up tables and missing out on wedding morning festivities with the bride (I did that for a friend's wedding one time--please don't do that to your friends). Brides deserve to relax and enjoy the day with their family and friends. Do yourself a favor and hire Lynn as your coordinator for your next event. The wedding was two weeks ago, and I am still having conversations with friends on how great the wedding was. DO IT!

The Details Matter
My mom and I decided to hire Erica to help us with all the little details involved in the planning of my wedding day and the days leading up to the wedding. I already had most of my vendors selected for the wedding and a lot of the big picture details worked out, but you don’t know what you don’t know – that is where Erica comes in!
We ended up having a destination wedding nestled up in the Beartooth Mountains of Montana. Not only did we have to coordinate with our vendors in a more rural area, we also were dealing with a more rustic venue that came with its own set of challenges and logistics to work out. Erica started coordinating with us several months before the wedding and sent us several check lists to help keep us on task with our vendors, design team, wedding party attire, you name it! Erica even went as far as to find out the typical temperature range for our venue location and time of sunset for that day of the year to make sure her timeline for the day of accounted for those little variables.
She also had me fill out several questionnaires to better get to know me and to know how I wanted my wedding to look and feel so she could help bring my vision to life. What I loved about working with Erica was how personalized this whole process felt. In addition to the questionnaires, Erica had several phone meetings with me to review our planning and make sure things were getting accomplished on time. These phone calls helped me connect with Erica but also helped to make sure we were on the same page with design elements. Often during these meetings, she would make suggestions or alterations to timeline. I really loved how she suggested that my grandmas be flower girls (this was so special for them, and they are still talking about it!) and I loved how after our entrance to the reception my husband and I went straight into our fist dance. She also brought up different ceremonial rituals we could add to make our wedding special. A few of those extra’s we ended up adding were the sand ceremony (during our wedding ceremony), the wedding shoe game (during the reception while guests were eating dinner, it was so fun!) and we added the whiskey barrel ceremony after our cake cutting.
As far as I know, everything went off perfectly! Erica worked so well with our bridal party and kept our large crew of 20 people on task for photos and line ups. She also worked so well with our already incredible team of florist and decorators. Erica really is like a fairy godmother floating around the wedding venue making sure things happen seamlessly. We had so much fun at our wedding and everything I wanted at our wedding happened. I couldn’t thank Erica more for all she did, she really is incredible at what she does, and I could not think of a better person to recommend for future weddings!

TLDR: HIRE HER IMMEDIATELY.
Wow! Where do I begin? First off, if you have the opportunity to work with Erica, DO IT. I thought I could manage a lot of it myself, but opted for partial planning and day-of coordination. Shortly after, I had a job change that took a LOT of my time. Erica stayed on top of what needed to be done and by when, and made sure I didn’t run out of time when planning! Even when I was not the best bride and forgetful, she reminded me to get certain things done to keep us on track. The week of the wedding was insane (as it seems to be that way for everyone) and Erica took so much time to get everything straightened out, keep me upbeat and ready for the big day.
The day before the wedding, my grandfather passed away. I include this because the way Erica made me feel has no price tag attached to it. She was genuine and kind, and most of all, understanding of the emotions I was feeling. I was a wreck, and she went so far above and beyond to help turn the day around. She let all the vendors know discreetly and managed literally everything the day of the wedding. I’m fairly sure I ended up forgetting things that we needed for the reception, and somehow everything ended up working out.
Hire her. If you’re on the fence about doing partial planning or not, do it. It was worth its weight in WAY less stress throughout the process and know that you will not be disappointed with Erica.

Working with Erica Thimsen at Helping Hand Parties and Weddings was one of the best parts of planning my daughter's wedding. All of the vendors she recommended were truly professional, easy to work with, and did an awesome job! We hired Erica for the "month of" plan, and we could not have pulled off that last month without her help. She thought of the tiniest details to make sure our day went smoothly and as stress free as possible. As unbelievable as this sounds, as the mom of the bride I had a fun day the day of the wedding with few worries and had a great time at the wedding and reception. My daughter and her husband had the wedding of their dreams due to Erica's diligence in working so closely with them to figure out exactly what they wanted. I worked with Lynn from Helping Hands for my wedding and had a wonderful experience! Lynn is very calm under the chaos of wedding planning, which is a nice contrast to my somewhat all over the place personality. She went out of her way to help above and beyond whenever possible. She picked up and brought my wedding cake to the venue to avoid delivery fees and drove over an hour back to the venue to get my wedding dress preserved the next day. In addition to these minor details, Lynn took charge of every last detail I envisioned to make sure my dream day came to reality! Hands down, Erica was THE BEST decision we made for our wedding. From day one, she was professional, very organized, and delightful to be around. We were clueless about how to tackle all of these little details and still be successful at our full time jobs! She provided us with a list of to-do’s every step of the way. From providing vendor recommendations to coordinating between them, she took a weight off of us through the entire process. Having her at our vendor meetings really helped keep everyone on the same page! She took the initiative to reach out when it was time for a meeting or my attention was needed on a certain item. We had several changes to our rentals (my fault!) along the way and, as a full coordination wedding, she shielded me from the headache of these revisions and coordinated them. (THANK YOU, ERICA!) Even when our makeup artist cancelled a month before the wedding, Erica made sure we had another exceptional vendor booked before the end of that day. As we neared the big day, Erica created a play by play timeline for the wedding weekend down to the 10 minute increment for our wedding party, families, and vendors. Her knowledge, communication skills, and professional connections in Huntsville were invaluable to making sure everything was coordinated correctly and appear effortless! Lynn joined Erica a month out before our wedding as our event’s second coordinator. Lynn is so sweet and helpful! She helped with several items to ensure that extra coordinating the day of went even smoother. Erica ensured that our expectations were communicated clearly and made sure to tell us when something wasn’t reasonable. She was amazing to work with and I loved the opportunity to get to know her! Erica is one of the kindest people and genuinely cared about making our day special. I am so glad we hired Helping Hand for full coordination! After doing some research and speaking with friends we decided to go with Erica as our wedding planner. This was one of the best decisions we made in terms of our wedding! I consider myself a pretty detailed, organized person and had a very clear vision for our wedding. But Erica was able to help us take everything to the next level. I received many compliments on being the most relaxed bride they’ve ever seen from my guests, and it is all a great credit to Erica. I am the mother of bride wanting to give my daughter the wedding she always wanted but also wanting to enjoy the evening myself. Erica with Helping Hands and Lynn did a wonderful job asking my daughter questions, helping her decide the type and style of wedding she wanted. From there we picked vendors to match her style. Erica is very knowledgable of all vendors and is widely praised by them. She is very responsive to emails and texts. She is very detailed and made a very detailed timeline for us to follow. She also met with the groom the week of the wedding to make sure he was comfortable with everything. When asked, she gave honest feedback which was what I wanted. In the end the bride and groom and mother and father of the bride were all able to enjoy the day worry free! There were nothing but happy memories. I highly recommend Lynn and Erica with Helping Hands and would use them again. Not to mention they are ethical, kind and patient. Everything you want the day of the wedding!

We chose the partial planning option because we wanted to be hands on in making decisions and we knew for the most part what we wanted. From day one Erica was very responsive with emails, texting or phone calls. There were many things involved in wedding planning that we had not thought about. She had many suggestions and ideas for things to do during the wedding. She knew the venue well and knew what would work and what would not work. Erica has a very good working relationship with other vendors. All the other vendors knew who she was and how organized she is. They had nothing but good things to say about her. I was worried about leaving the wedding and my parents having a lot of cleaning up to do, but they said Erica wouldn't let them lift a finger. Erica made sure everything ran smoothly. She helped make our fairytale wedding come true!

Erica was truly an asset to the wedding planning process! From the very first meeting my mother and I could tell that we were in good hands with her. It was so helpful to have a seasoned professional who could recommend vendors and help make our visions a reality. As an out of town bride I was a bit nervous about planning from afar, but Erica was wonderful at keeping us on task and sending detailed checklists for us to complete on time. Erica is also extremely prompt and professional and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. She was incredibly flexible with meeting times and alway accommodated my schedule when I was in town. Prior to the wedding day she took care of coordinating all the vendors which relieved a huge burden from us and allowed us to more easily enjoy the festivities instead of focusing on all of the timing details. Having Erica there on the wedding day was incredible! I cannot imagine anything going more smoothly than it did. She truly took the stress away from us and allowed us to enjoy every single second! If there were any problems, I did not see them (or even know about them) because Erica had already found a solution. We absolutely loved our wedding! I would even say that it far exceeded my expectations. I truly could not stop smiling! We have since received many compliments on how beautiful and organized it was and a huge part of that is due to Erica and Helping Hand Parties & Weddings. We could not have done it without her! I was the bride who knew exactly what I wanted & most vendors were booked 7 months out, but I needed help with the details / day of items. Every time an issue came up, Erica always had good, informed options for handling it. Choosing Helping Hand Parties was the best decision we made during our wedding planning process. Erica was with us every step of the way and managed to make the stressful task of planning a wedding pleasant for everyone involved. During the planning period, I was living in a different city and was busy finishing college while my fiancé was living in a different state. Erica worked with our crazy schedule, helped us find wonderful vendors, and helped with any situation that came up. She went out of her way to make sure tasks were completed in a timely manner, and she was always in constant contact. My husband, his family, my family and I all had very different visions for the wedding, and this wonderful woman was somehow able to create a wedding experience that we all loved. On the wedding day, Erica and her staff at Helping Hand Parties pulled together everything to create the most amazing day of my life thus far. One of the most memorable moments of my wedding day was after the ceremony, when we were going to the reception venue. After talking to several wedding planners for my daughter's New Year's Eve wedding, we were most impressed with Erica. She came highly recommended, and she did not disappoint! Erica was a pleasure to work with, very attentive, organized, and detail oriented. When the photographer had the wedding party outside for pictures, they came back in with mud on their shoes and tux. My daughter had mud on her satin heels. Erica was prepared and had supplies on hand to remove mud from shoes, tuxes, etc. With Erica there to take care of all the details, I was able to sit back and enjoy my daughter's wedding. We are EXTREMELY grateful for Erica's detailed planning and for her ability to provide us with peace of mind before and on our wedding day. It is incredibly challenging to get 90 family members and 125 total guests at the right place, at the right time. It would not have been possible without Erica's expertise and professional attitude. She stayed late at work for us; she bridged communication gaps between families; she even sat down with my husband and me before the rehearsal dinner to go over every detail, start-to-finish.
We continuously receive compliments about the ceremony and reception-- certainly we and everyone else were impressed by the smooth execution of such a momentous and sacred event.

Erica is wonderful. I met her while she was working a wedding and I just loved how calm and collected she was. Erica was totally my speed, I felt like we just clicked together. She is easy to talk to and a fast communicator. At times I didn't know when she slept because at the times she sent us emails. You could text her pretty much anytime! She makes you feel super important and in charge of your day. I had her for partial planning and so we had a few meetings, more when the wedding got closure. She would take all of our notes and make a timeline. It helps you feel more organized when your feeling jumbled. Even if you think you have thought of everything, she helps you make sure you did and if you needed help, she had suggestions. I really feel that she is a good friend and would love to hang out with her after the wedding.
I would highly suggest her because we loved her and it took so much stress off my mom so she could enjoy the day too!!

Erica is a wonder. Fully worth the investment (we did the Partial Planning package), she helped take a heap of stress off of my (the bride's) family. My then fiance and I planned the details while we were in school, and since we weren't in north AL, Erica was available for phone calls, texts, and emails the whole time. She answered questions, kept us on track through the process, and provided us with options for vendors (and she knows exactly who and who not to use!). She totally kicked into SuperWoman hyperdrive a few weeks out from the wedding and provided everyone with everything they needed to know. She oversaw the rehearsal and everything the day of--we just let everyone know that if you do what she says, everything will be fine! Our day was fabulous and was executed so smoothly. Erica probably took care of a ton of problems my husband and I didn't even know about! We still have guests complimenting us on the wedding, and my family got to enjoy the day and spend time with the guests rather than stress and be in charge. Erica is so sweet, professional, and gifted at what she does. Thanks for providing us with such an enjoyable wedding to look back on, Erica!!

Erica at Helping Hand Parties helped me plan my daughter's wedding in August 2014. She was extremely helpful from the very beginning when we did not know where to start, providing a check list, examples, vendor suggestions when needed and guidance. Erica was patient and professional. On the day of the wedding she and her assistant filled in to help out without another vendor who had a family emergency. She thought of details I would not have even considered. Our day went so smoothly and I was able to enjoy time with family and friends.We would highly recommend Erica Thimsen at Helping Hand Parties.

Erica of Helping Hand Parties & Weddings is amazing! I would have never been able to give my daughter the most perfect wedding without the help of Erica! She is very detailed, organized, and creative! She took our ideas and made them come to life! She was so easy to work with and was in constant contact with our vendors. Her knowledge of planning weddings is fantastic! She made sure that we had all the boxes checked so that everything would go smoothly the day of the wedding! She enabled us to have a magical and stress free day! The wedding was a complete success!

Awesome, professional, kind, and a joy to work with. I would never been able to give my daughter such a beautiful wedding without Erica's expertise. She put together the perfect wedding down to the smallest detail. Erica enabled me to enjoy a magical, stress free day with my daughter, new son, family, and friends. I still have two daughters at home and when the time comes to plan their special day, my first call will be to Erica!!!!

Working with Erica of Helping Hand Parties & Weddings was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding, and we would choose her again in a heartbeat! Erica is very knowledgeable and detail-oriented, she will be your advocate and liaison to other vendors, and she will do it all with a smile and calm demeanor! Whatever you want for your wedding, Erica will help make it happen! She had a lot of great ideas and made sure every detail was considered in advance (both decorative and logistical), so that we could all relax and enjoy our wedding with peace of mind! Erica was very responsive and flexible - always returning calls or emails right away (I sometimes wondered when she slept, based on the various timestamps of her emails! :)) When we decided to go a different direction with our wedding just a few months before the big day, Erica didn't flinch at all, and was very supportive and encouraging of us and our new plan, which we were SO grateful for. She helped us turn everything around into the direction we wanted to go (intimate, personal, and beautiful), and we were SO HAPPY. The wedding day was perfect! Erica took care of everything. We all knew where everyone and everything needed to be and when with the timeline Erica developed and executed. She coordinated all of the vendors and we didn't have to worry about a thing except showing up, looking pretty, and having the happiest day of our lives! The value you get with everything she does for you is unmatched. My groom and I were so happy not just on the wedding day, but throughout the planning process (which is important!). My wedding day couldn't have been more perfect! Erica was hired as my day-of-coordinator and the execution of the day was flawless. I didn't have to worry about a thing during the day and actually got to enjoy my day. Even though she was only hired as a day-of-coordinator, Erica helped me weeks in advance, with keeping me on track of deadlines, following up with vendors, meeting with my venue, and bringing up items I hadn't even though of! Erica is also very accommodating to your schedule. As with planning a wedding and having a full time job things can get a little hectic, but Erica was always willing to work around my schedule.
If you want to have a low stress day and know that it will be executed to perfection then Erica is the person for you!

Erica was amazing. She provided our family with so many helpful tips and suggestions, and she made my wedding day flow seamlessly. I don't know how everything would have gone without having her there to coordinate everything. She was a tremendous help and so sweet and friendly. I would recommend her services to anyone!

Erica at Helping Hands was an absolute lifesaver. I had a huge Indian wedding and there were tons of cultural aspects that Erica had to learn about along the way. She handled it so well and so calmly and knew every single detail of the ceremony which was all new to her. My mom and I would have gone crazy and probably would have fought so much if it weren't for Erica. Because she was so organized and detail-oriented, my mom and I got to enjoy the whole weekend and not worry about logistics at all. I cannot imagine what a mess my weekend would have been without Erica. Not only is she super organized and therefore gets stuff done, she is so easy to work with! She listened to my ideas and made them happen. I am incredibly thankful for her and owe so much of that amazing weekend to her brilliance! Stop trying to do everything, and hire Erica!

I don't have enough great things to say about Erica. She provided us with day of coordination services at our wedding reception. She is so sweet, knowledgeable, professional and just an overall pleasure to work with. Months before the big day she was helpful in providing multiple vendor recommendations that were within my budget and was always quick to respond with any questions I had. Weeks before the wedding, every last detail was so thoroughly planned out that I was able to enjoy the events leading up to the wedding stress free. She assisted in set up and break down of the decorations, which were set up exactly as I had imagined, and made sure everything ran without a hitch. If something went wrong that night, I never knew about it. I'm so grateful to her for giving me the wedding of my dreams and I will remember it for the rest of my life. I would highly recommend her to any bride. Thank you Erica!

Thanks to Erica, my wedding was a complete success. She made every idea I had come to life and made sure it was executed beautifully. She is easy to talk to and keeps in constant contact with you making detailed outlines of the day and even making specific outlines for the wedding party, vendors, and friends and family who are helping. Her insight on what works well and what doesn't is invaluable. I would recommend Erica to anyone planning a wedding or event. Most importantly, she took all the stress off my shoulders allowing me to have the best day of my life.

Erica was so wonderful to work with, she was very organized and detailed. We never had to worry once about how things were being handled. She was always ahead of things. The only other suggestion we have is trying to schedule the first meeting a bit sooner. We had our first meeting in early July the month of the wedding and we were overwhelmed with all we still had to do which was 3 weeks prior to the wedding, overall we were extremely impressed with Erica's services, she blew us away and really shined, allowing us to focus on enjoying our wedding and knowing our guests were well taken care of.

Erica was an absolute wedding genius! She thinks of every detail you could possibly imagine and then at least 100 more. I knew when I first met her at our consultation that she would be great, but once we started our wedding month meetings I had no doubt she would make sure everything was perfect. In the planning process she works on every piece of the ceremony and reception and gives such great advice! I know I was stubborn on some things, but she still advised and convinced me (or my mom on some occasions) when a change really needed to be made. She's very experienced and knows so many of the vendors in Huntsville and Madison, that she knows the best way to work with each and every one of them. After the stress of planning and choosing things up until a month before the wedding, it was blessing to be able to hand things off to her and know I didn't need to worry about them. On the wedding day I was completely unaware of anything going wrong or being off (that's assuming stuff did which I'm sure is a safe assumption). Erica made everything run so smoothly and I don't know what we would have done without her. I'm so very grateful for her hard work and would highly recommend Helping Hands!

For our destination wedding we truly took 'Bama to the Bahamas and Erica helped make it all happened.
Forty eight family members and friends boarded the Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas. Erica and her assistant helped coordinate activities on the boat: Hindu prayer service, cocktail party, and wedding rehearsal. I was able to enjoy my guests while Erica and Lynn handles all of the logistics and solved any issues or problems that may have arose. On Saturday, April 27, the ship docked at Nassau, Bahamas. Erica and our DJ disembarked early to ensure that the wedding ceremony site, the Versailles Gardens at the One and Only Ocean Club, was set up and decorated appropriately. The ceremony was a colorful fairy tale. Our Hindu/American hybrid wedding flowed well and ran on schedule, a feat I was quite impressed with because Hindu weddings are known to run notoriously late. Because Erica kept everything running smoothly we had plenty of time for a champagne toast and pictures. Helping Hands made sure no guest was ever left behind with their methodical guest check lists. They handled transportation logistics and made sure every guest was where they needed to be. Later that evening were pictures on the beach, cocktail party, and reception at the Sheraton Hotel and Casino. Erica and Lynn decorated the beach pavillion for the reception with votive LED candles, red carnations, star fish, and sand dollars, add to that the beautiful pink and purple sunset, and DJ Luka's great music selection--it made for an absolutely memorable and enchanting reception. Erica stayed on top of the reception schedule (which was quite tight as is) and made sure the dances, cake cutting, and sparkler exit went without a hitch. I couldn't have asked for a better reception.
