When I used to think of wedding planners, I pictured the movie version — someone with a headset, barking orders, and obsessing over every tiny detail (I've never been married, so I literally had no idea what to expect!!) But oh boy, was I wrong. I’m not the type of bride who grew up pinning wedding ideas or dreaming about dresses. When I got engaged, I just knew I wanted to celebrate that year, especially since my parents have health challenges and I wanted them to be part of something truly special. But once you start planning a wedding, you realize how overwhelming it all is — the costs, the choices, the emotions. I’m a TV producer, so I know what it takes to plan a big event, but wedding planning is its own beast. It takes people like Haylie and Becca to make it all come to life. Becca, in particular, was like an extension of me. She was funny, caring, and endlessly patient. She offered thoughtful advice when I had no clue what I was doing, and she made sure everything ran smoothly even when I was emotionally overloaded. She’s also incredibly creative — she even hand-made beautiful pieces for me that made the day feel so personal. Haylie and Heirloom Event Co made sure my wedding wasn’t just organized, but deeply special. They’re not the stereotypical “crazy planners with headsets” — they’re a compassionate, talented team who balance professionalism with heart. They understand what matters most: letting you actually be present with your partner, your family, and your friends. My day was better than I could have ever imagined, and I’ll forever be grateful for them. -

Heirloom Event Company is an amazing company with an incredible staff! Amanda Huddleston is such a talented event planner and really brings her unique vision to every event she has a hand in. She is organized, very detail oriented, and has such elegant taste. I have seen her fully plan a number of events and they are all stellar! She has such passion for her job and it really shows. If you get a chance to work with her, you definitely won't regret it!! Highly recommend Amanda Huddleston and Heirloom Event Company for all your event planning needs!!! -

From the very beginning, our planner was quick to respond to any questions we had, she always made time for us and worked around our schedule. She was very organized and always on top of the tasks. She communicated with our vendors to coordinate a timeline and answer any questions they had so that we didn’t have to. She was truly a blessing and worth every penny. This made the month of our wedding much more enjoyable! -

As the mother of the bride one of the best decisions we made was to hire Haylie S as our wedding planner. She was absolutely fantastic! She was so easy to work with and went out of her way to ensure everything went smoothly. She reached out to the vendors and ensured they contacted her the day of the wedding and dealt with the hiccups when they presented themselves. Thankfully we did not have many. She stayed close to the bride and made sure she had a low stress beautiful day. She was always there, watching and anticipating needs. I heard many compliments from our guests about how kind and wonderful she was during the event. If I had to do it over, I would absolutely choose her again and again. -

I was the Matron of Honor at my friends' wedding and watched Haylie and her team do five million tiny things to make sure the entire wedding weekend ran smoothly (and I know there were millions more I didn't see). Haylie is creative, organized, and strategic. There's always something that doesn't work at the wedding last minute, but she gathered her resources and found solutions without the bride even knowing about it. Haylie didn't miss a thing. The dance floor had gotten dirty from guests stepping on it, and before the bride and groom entered the reception, she was on the ground wiping it down til it was pristine.
It was one of the most gorgeous weddings I'd ever attended and I highly recommend Heirloom Events. They put their whole heart into this event and even made sure that the bridal party was fed, hydrated, and emotionally well. Heirloom Events will elevate your special day, hands down, and they'll do so with grace, joy, and amazing attention to details. -

The wedding was an enchanting experience. The reception was amidst the rolling hills and lush landscapes of Branson, Missouri. Insane panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Every element, the ceremony, hospitality, culinary delights, and entertainment seamlessly came together to create a day that was truly magical. At one point in the evening, Haylie made a song request for Yo Gotti's Down In The DM. Once the song dropped, the whole room went bananas. Wouldn't be surprised if she started DJing at events. I can't recommend Haylie enough. -

Haylie is incredibly good at what she does. Every event she has a hand in curating is always dripping with intentionality, on top of looking incredibly aesthetic. There are always echos of joy from anyone that leaves one of her events. I only wish she was still in Los Angeles, but I'm excited for the midwest to be reaping the benefits of her talent. -
