Peggy and her team are absolutely incredible. I had the honor of working with Peggy to plan my wedding and I would recommend her to absolutely everyone. Peggy is kind, professional, timely, and just overall excellent. There was never a time I waited more than 30 minutes for a text back from her. She was always on time for our meetings. She always redirected everyone's opinions back to the bride and groom by asking "well, what does the bride and groom want?" On our wedding day I have absolutely no clue what/if anything went wrong throughout the day because Peggy took care of everything. She truly is the best and a blessing to work with! -

Best coordinator ever!
Peggy was there for me every step of the way. She helped me pick my vendors, made calls for me, set up for me and made sure the wedding day followed the perfect timeline. She kept everyone on the same page and I got to sit back and dance and enjoy my wedding day while she took care of the rest! I would definitely recommend her! Worth every penny and a very fair price for the quality in a great coordinator! -

Peggy Buchanan - Highly recommend!
We can not say enough about Peggy and her team! From the first time we met until the wedding, we were in constant communication to make sure every detail of the wedding was planned and perfect. Peggy recommended vendors at a variety of price points to help us keep to our budget, and she answered all of our many questions during the planning process! By the day of the wedding, we were confident that we could simply enjoy our special day because Peggy would ensure that everything went smoothly. In short, Peggy was invaluable and we would recommend her to anyone. -

Calm, Cool, and Collected
Peggy is exactly the kind of calming presence you want on your wedding day. She is very resourceful to solve any minor issues that may arise (you won’t know about it until after it’s fixed!), and her years of experience in the industry definitely show. She has so many money-saving tips that I would have never thought of on my own. She has a great relationship with my venue (Marblegate Farm) and vendors all love her! She’ll save you hours of searching for the perfect vendor because she’s worked with and has knowledge of pretty much all of them! She is responsive via text whenever you need her and keeps detailed records so that you never have to tell her the same thing twice. I am a DIY bride by nature but I can’t imagine my wedding without Peggy. Highly recommend! -

Best planner ever!
Peggy was amazing and made the planning process so smooth!! She responded to my many questions so quickly and knows everything you could want to know about weddings and planning for them. She also has an awesome relationship with tons of vendors in every field and can give several recommendations depending on what vibe or type of service you’re looking for. She made the rehearsal so easy and effortless for us and the wedding party as she directed and told us exactly where to be. I didn’t have to think about a think except being excited to marry my husband on our wedding day! Hands down Peggy is the best and is such a nice person and even our wedding party had tons of great things to say about how simple she made the process!! :) -

Our Dream Come True :)
Peggy couldn't have been more helpful to make our dream wedding come true!! Even during COVID, postponing our wedding, and shrinking it down to 100, Peggy couldn't have been more available and supportive every step of the way. She always had an answer for every question during planning and made our actual day run so smoothly and flawlessly!! Because we ended up moving our wedding to a Sunday, she even ran the entire rehearsal by herself without the pastor (who was preaching on Sunday morning) and me (the bride, because the groom wasn't supposed to see me on the day of). She has a confident, peaceful presence, and you quickly learn that she will get things done and done well. Peggy made every detail of our day perfect and let us relax and enjoy it because she had it under control. Couldn't recommend her more!! -

Peggy was our amazing wedding planner last December! She was fabulous and as the mother of the bride, I was able to be fully present because of her attentiveness and effort on every front! Peggy is experienced, kind, and when something needed to be figured out... she was right there! I hadn’t anticipated all that would be left to remember at the end of our wedding and was utterly exhausted. She stayed by my side until the very end helping me remember every detail and even loading things into my family’s cars! I am so thankful for Peggy and highly recommend Heels and Veils!!!! I don't know how to express my gratitude for Peggy in this limited space. She went above and beyond in every way during the wedding process. I live in Boston and it was difficult to plan remotely but Peggy met with my vendors, responded to emails promptly, and drove me to see my vendors when I briefly came to Knoxville over the Christmas holidays without a car. After the wedding, I found out all the ways in which she made sure my family and friends had a wonderful time. She babysat my baby nephew so my sister and her husband could get their food and mingle. She noticed that the head table candles we had provided to her a few days before the wedding had stickers from the shop on them so she soaked it in water the night before to remove it. She returned some of the rentals after the wedding for us. Before the ceremony, we realized that the boutonnieres for the groomsmen had been delivered to the reception venue and Peggy drove back to the venue to grab them. When one of them broke, she fixed it. During the cocktail hour she made sure that my husband and I got food and drinks. All of this was in addition to her setting up the reception and some items at the church. I'm sure I am forgetting many more instances in which Peggy made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing. If you're deciding on whether to get a wedding planner, then look no further than Heels and Veils. Peggy will not only save you money but she'll also save you your sanity. Her prices are also beyond reasonable. Peggy, thank you for everything you did. We had an unforgettable time. -

From the moment I signed my contract, I knew that hiring Peggy was the best decision I made with the whole wedding!! She is so professional, attentive, and kind...exactly what you want on your wedding day, and the days leading up to it! I live in Florida and had to do everything via phone or email, but Peggy was so responsive and the distance didn’t bother me at all. She went above and beyond for us!! I was having a hard time finding a rental company who would deliver a small amount of chairs, and she took over, got them ordered, picked them up and drove them to the venue, and did the set up/break down. She decorated our arch, set up the tables/decor, and just so much more! If something went wrong on my wedding day, I really have no idea, because she handled everything!! I was able to really be in the moment and not worry about details. Peggy, I can’t thank you enough for making our day absolutely perfect!! -

There is not enough room in this box to say all the positive things about Peggy Buchanan. She was an absolute God-send for us planning our big day. I reached out to Peggy in August and wanted a wedding in October (2017), and she didn't bat an eye at the timeline. During our first meeting, the only thing I had was our photographer (Bill Waldorf) and the venue (Dara's Garden)....when I left that two hour meeting with her, we had the flowers booked, the cake booked, the DJ booked, and a timeline of the day set. I remember telling Peggy that it felt like she had taken the weight of the world off my shoulders. On top of all her amazing help, she gave us a military discount because my now-hubby is a Marine. On the day of the wedding, one of my sweet nephews (who is 14) somehow got all the way to Dara's Garden without his shirt for his suit. Peggy told everyone not to panic, left Dara's Garden, drove all the way home, got a shirt from her house, and made it work for Gabe. She handled all that like it wasn't a big deal at all. Then she put our place settings together in the tent (see photos). Peggy, if you read this, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We thank God for you, your kindness, and your genuine spirit. -

There are literally no words to describe Peggy and her team! We met with Peggy numerous times before the day, and her professionalism is unlike any other - prompt with responses, and super creative! She made my husband and me feel so comfortable and relaxed on the day of, because they took care of EVERYTHING! Peggy has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I have ever met, and loves what she does! Peggy was amazing. She was already committed to a wedding on the same day as ours, but she still took us. She did all the planning and then on the day of Jamie and Carolyn pulled everything together and the result was nothing short of perfect. Peggy was seriously a godsend on my wedding day! She recommended the best vendors. They were so affordable and easy to work with! You will seriously save the money you spend to hire her by using her recommended vendors! She blew me away the day of the wedding. She handled EVERYTHING! At the rehearsal I dropped off decorations to put up, she had it all set up for me by the time I got there to get ready for the wedding the next day. She moved my aisle decorations to the tables for centerpieces. She did all the behind scenes work you don't realize existed! I worried about NOTHING the day of my wedding. I got overheated at one point and she found a fan and set it next to me without me asking. She anticipates any thing that could possibly happen and has your back. My friends didn't use a coordinator for their weddings and they had multiple complaints about things not going right. My day was honestly perfect <3 -

Peggy did an incredible job with our wedding! She met with us a few times prior to the wedding to go over each and every detail, recommending and helping us select vendors. She also went with us to a couple of vendor meetings to make sure everyone was on the same page and all our bases were covered. But the BEST part came the day of the wedding. Peggy was on top of everything and made sure the whole day went smoothly... without us even knowing it. She was such a blessing to us and to our families in giving us the wedding we wanted and taking care of everything we never would have thought of on our own. -

Heels and Veils was an amazing company! My coordinator was Peggy Buchanan. We enjoyed meeting her and working with her throughout our entire planning period. She was easy to work with and really listened to what we wanted. She made the entire wedding day stress free. It was so nice to sit back and enjoy getting dressed. We were able to eat our food, visit with guests, take tons of pictures, and even eat cake because of all of her help. We highly recommend Peggy. She was well worth every penny and then some!!! -

Peggy and her team made the entire wedding process enjoyable. I am incredibly organized and a perfectionist. I can truly say that I was able to turn details over to Peggy, knowing that they would be correct, timely, and absolutely perfect. Her vendor connections truly are life saving. She had a person for everyone and everything. She made the wedding planning process a breeze. Not only was the planning experience wonderful, but our actual wedding went off without a glitch. She kept everything on time, in order and stress free. She knows how to handle mishaps, but truly using Peggy I doubt you would have any. We used Heels and Veils for the day of the ceremony however Peggy Buchanan did much more than day of. She met with my daughter and I and then with me on several occasions to discuss the wedding and what we wanted. She was professional polite always listening and ready to help with suggestions or ideas to make the day flow smooth. She worked with the DJ and photographer to set up the timelines necessary to make the day flow, She took my list of how I wanted things to be set up and put everything where I wanted it and did a fantastic job of making the memory and guest sign tables look wonderful. She made the day stress free for me as mother of the bride and for my daughter. The prices she charges are more than fair and you get more assistance than what she asks for in payment. She is someone who truly loves her job. -

Words do not describe how integral Peggy and the Heels and Veils team were to the success of my wedding. Peggy was thorough, accessible, and professional. We stayed in constant contact throughout the wedding process. She helped resolve problems, visited vendors withs us, and made recommendations based on her years of experience. On the day of the wedding, she was there from the moment we could enter the venue until everything was taken down. She is solely responsible for calming my mother and helping us through the planning process. Weddings can be a pain and a stressor, but they were not thanks to the guidance of the Heels and Veils team. Peggy even met with my mother-in-law and answered rehearsal dinner-related questions. She made the process go completely seamlessly. I did not think it was possible to have a wedding without something going wrong, but Heels and Veils helped make everything perfect and easy that day. I also must note Peggy's demeanor - so calm and professional and encouraging in the face of a stressful process and while dealing with many strong personalities. She was our rock during this process. Jamie also helped on the wedding day, so we had two hands to coordinate the event and the family and bridal party didn't have to worry about a thing! I am so thankful for the Heels and Veils team! They truly could charge 10x what they do - Heels and Veils offers an invaluable service with the sweetest spirit. I wish I could give a 10 out of 5 for this team! -

She knows the best vendors, the best venues, and offers such helpful insight. My husband and I spent the three hour drive to Atlanta after the wedding and our whole honeymoon gushing about how perfect everything was. Heels and Veils went above and beyond to make my daughter's wedding day all that it could possibly be. Peggy and staff was very professional. She pointed us in all the right directions for vendors, decorations and either had the answer or found the answer for all of our wedding questions and concerns, paying particular attention to all the wedding details. She met with us several times, which helped to keep us on the right schedule for planning and always answered her phone and responded in a timely manner to emails and texts. The wedding day went off without a hitch. She and her staff arrived early and stayed late, helped to decorate, kept the actual wedding and reception on schedule and went as far as to entertain my grandsons until it was their turn to ride in the wagon down the aisle. I was so very pleased with Peggy and her team and highly recommend them for your wedding event. -

I contacted Peggy in March of 2013 to help with our Luke's surprise engagement to Sarah. We talked with her about his original idea of where he wanted to propose. She walked us thru some alternative places and helped us confirm a location that was special to our family. She was a great sounding board for me to discuss the engagement dinner and made helpful suggestions for an anxious Mother of the Groom. She helped me confirm our choice of the rehearsal dinner venue, menu, design of the room, logistics of the rehearsal time and getting everyone to the rehearsal dinner venue. She and her team spent the day of the rehearsal dinner decorating the venue, coordinating and putting the favors together that were shipped in the morning of the dinner, and made sure the tables were set to the idea I had in mind. She orchestrated the order of the rehearsal dinner and improvised where needed. Finally, at the end of a long, fun and emotional rehearsal day, she and her team stayed and packed up the decorations, made sure Luke got all his groomsmen their clothes and gifts and helped put a nice bow on a perfect day. Peggy is a professional, but also knows the importance of listening to the bride and groom and making the event about them! I know it may be a while before I have a need for a wedding planner, but Heals and Veals will be my obvious choice! -

We live out of town and having Peggy available for any and all needs we had was absolutely a lifesaver. My wife and I are very detailed oriented and very picky, my mother is even more so. So when it came to select a wedding planner, we knew we needed the best. Let me tell you, Peggy is the BEST. She was on time, organized, friendly, detailed oriented, direct in organizing the event (but graciously, not rude), personable, and most of all, focused on the bride and groom. I have been apart of countless weddings, and the bride and groom a lot of times get lost in the event. (i.e. no drinks, don't get to sit and eat, etc.). However, Peggy made our night special by planning in a way that made us no only comfortable, but we enjoyed every minute of it. I am the kind of guy who reviews a product to death before I purchase something, so I have read thousands of reviews. If you are the same way, then make it easy on yourself and go with Peggy, you won't regret it. -

Peggy Buchanan of Heels and Veils exceeded all expectations! She coordinated my daughter Hilarie's wedding on 12/14/13. literally saving me thousands upon thousands of dollars! The flowers were 1/6 the price of the lowest vendor I found. I promise! She knows everyone, so she got the most bang for our limited budget, and her services actually saved me thousands of dollars. She has a loving heart, and she is a strong Christian, putting the Lord first, and considering her work a ministry and a witness. She kept track of gifts coming in, with staff at each area, even took care of gift cards! Think about that! When gift cards come in, who will secure them? They are easy to lose track of. She counted guests and quickly consulted with tthe caterer when she noticed that there were over 450 people in the audience and we had only paid for 200 reception guests. She and her staff worked behind the scenes to reportion the food . Everyone had full plates, and we ended up with tons of food left over. She must have a direct line to Heaven, because this was truly a "five rolls and two small fish" type of miracle! Honestly, I had no idea of all of the things that would have been disastrous until after the ceremony. I was blissfully unaware, enjoying the wedding, while she worked everything out! I recommend her highly, and I hate to think about what might have been without her. She knows EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING wedding-wise, she will save you so much money, and you too will sing her praises when you hire her and her wonderful, caring, knowedgeable staff. -

This past weekend my oldest daughter Rachel got married and Peggy was our wedding coordinator. I was a novice for throwing a wedding in Knoxville so I needed Peggy's recommendations for vendors and logistics. Months ago as we began our serious planning, I realized what an asset she was. The week of the wedding she sent emails and texts to ensure we were on track and nothing was forgotten. At the rehearsal her kind yet organized demeanor shown. She said the rehearsal would be under an hour and it was. My brother the minister was very appreciative the way Peggy took charge. She sought the bride and groom's preferences, then made it happen. The day of the wedding she was fabulous with her timetable. Most people would come across as a drill sergeant but not Peggy. Rachel, the bride, had total trust in her so she directed every problem to Peggy. I could relax and enjoy the party and guests because of her presence.
If Peggy had not been a personal friend, I doubt we would have sought a wedding coordinator, but simply used the venue coordinator We would have thought that was an expense we could cut from the budget. It would have been one of our biggest mistakes! Peggy's advice with vendors saved us more money than she charges for her services. Peggy is like the credit card commercial - priceless!
Everyone connected with our wedding feels Peggy is their friend now. I pray she is still available when my other two daughters get married someday. -

I used Peggy as a day of coordinator, but she was more than willing to help out throughout the entire process. She gave us the awesome idea of tossing colored rose petals during our exit instead of bubbles, bird seed, etc because we were leaving at 6 in the summer so it was still light out and the pictures turned out great! -

She is a wedding day coordinator. She was responsive to my requests. However, she would go over the top per my requests. She even yelled at the groom telling him I was pissed at him for his actions at the reception. That is not at all what I told her. She was also rude to me at the end of the night when it came time to leave. I wanted to say goodbye to all my friends and family that I never get to see before leaving, and she wouldn't let me. I told her tough because I was and she got mad. She kept saying I was the boss that day, but it felt more like she was the boss. Plus she forgot to give the rings to the best man and matron of honor before the ceremony. -
