  Holy heart eyes!

  Heather went above and beyond on my flower dreams for the wedding! They were exactly what I wanted & I took most of my flowers home & they’re still alive (2 weeks later)!! She works wonders & will go beyond your expectations!!

  Beautiful Flowers

  Heather was great. We met and discussed color and concept for my wedding and I left the flower selection up to her and she nailed it! Everything was beautiful. The arbor on the beach was amazing and she set up my table settings for me too. Outstanding job.

  Heather was a huge asset to the wedding. From literally the day the couple got engaged through the last song at the reception, she was there ensuring everything went smoothly and everyone was enjoying themselves. She was involved in nearly every aspect, from the planning to flowers to day of coordination. Heather incorporated aspects of the couple to really make the ceremony and reception about them, and not a cookie cutter wedding. She listened to the couple and their families and gave her own input where appropriate. You can tell watching her work that she thoroughly enjoys the whole process. She is very professional and invested in putting together an exceptional experience.

  We could not have held this wedding without Heather. Starting 15 months before the event Heather had us on a schedule. She followed all of our conversations with other vendors and offered suggestions when we were indecisive. The weekend of the wedding she was right there with us. Heather was also our florist and was very responsive to our request for florals. She created exactly what we envisioned. The flowers were very fresh and the arrangements lasted for days after the wedding. She recreated our venue! The building was transformed into a soft, warm wedding wonderland. It was magical.

  Omg can’t even say enough good things about Heather! I am not creative at all and it was hard for me to put into words what I wanted my wedding to look like and Heather took what I told her and went above and beyond! She did full wedding planning and did all of our flowers. It was absolutely unbelievable how great she is!!!

  Heather, I am not sure I will ever be able to truly express my gratitude for everything you did to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. I felt lost in the immense world of wedding planning and was in need of someone who could help narrow down the vendor choices, weed through all the options and keep us on track. Heather was extremely organized and kept notes of all my ideas from each time we got together. She listened to all of my visions as they evolved over time for what the day would look like and helped bring it together beautifully. Additionally, she provided us with a timeline that was invaluable, especially in the last couple weeks. She took care of communicating with all of the vendors and coordinating their drop off/pick up schedules. On the day of our wedding she stayed in touch with me and the rest of the bridal party continuously as she worked tirelessly to make everything perfect. It was priceless having an extremely detail oriented and organized wedding planner that doubles as a creative floral master. I was so overcome with how wonderful everything was that I literally burst out in tears when I walked into the room at Jennette's Pier before our ceremony. Heather captured every element in perfect detail and the execution was flawless. Thank you, thank you, thank you x a million!!!! <3

  Heather Events was my wedding planner and florist, she was amazing! She was incredibly responsive anytime we had questions, had great recommendations, very thorough in her planning especially with the timeline. She was wonderful on the day of and really don't have anything negative to say. On to her as a florist, well she was perfect! I created a Pinterest page with my ideas for florals for the wedding and she made those ideas come to life! The bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony archway, table arrangements, and more was all absolutely perfect and beautiful. She did a wonderful job creating the simple, romantic, and elegant look with a touch of rustic beach. See below for some pictures of the florals. Overall i really loved having her as both my planner and florist, she really can do it all!

  From the moment I spoke to Heather I knew she was the one to make our special day everything we hoped for. She knew all of our vendors and coordinated all the details and timing just perfectly. I was so relaxed the day of our wedding as I knew Heather had everything under control. I did not question for one minute that things would not be executed perfectly as Heather was in charge. From logistics, to decor, Heather understood our vision and had wonderful suggestions. Heather also did my florals and they were even more beautiful than the ideas I had in mind. I was blown away by her creations and our bouquets. I was so sad the next day as I wanted to take them home and soak in their beauty as long as I could but we were leaving for our honeymoon. Our wedding took place the weekend after Hurricane Matthew in which Manteo was underwater and had major damage. Heather called ME to tell me not to worry, all when her family was going through the recovery and damage to their home. That attests to the level of service and care for her clients she has. What makes Heather so great to work with is that she is truly a wonderful person. Any bride would be lucky to have her as part of their special day.

  Heather is very talented with floral arrangements and bouquets. I absolutely loved the centerpieces that she created! She designed an amazing and gorgeous wedding reception.   Heather was absolutely amazing - she was both our wedding planner and our florist for our beach wedding in the 4x4 area. She was incredibly flexible and responded to all communications extremely quickly. She was even able to provide the most beautiful table arrangements that fit our slightly unconventional request (fragrant herbs with lots of beautiful open flowers) with only a few weeks notice - she is amazing!! As a planner, she was on top of everything - we had our wedding at an event home and had quite a few personal items to setup - but with Heathers' help, everything went off without a hitch! Our guests were very impressed with Heather, and I even had several married friends mention that they wish they had her for their weddings! :) We loved her!!

  Hiring Heather to do our wedding "weekend of" coordination was the very best money I spent on my daughter's wedding. She took charge at the church rehearsal, going over each detail to make sure everyone knew where to be and what to do. On wedding day, she was our saving grace, by being the bridge between both families, the church, the reception venue, and my vendors. She transported items to and from our various locations, and was a lifesaver at the end of the night by working closely with the reception venue staff to pack up our items for us. Heather is a true professional, very efficient, and an absolute angel to work with. We were able to relax and enjoy our weekend because we knew she was making sure it was perfect. Thank you, Heather!

  I met Heather at the Outer Banks Wedding Expo and am so grateful that I did! We booked Heather Events for the "Weekend Coordination" package and couldn't have been happier with her services. She met with us several times at the venue Festival Park prior to the wedding, met with our caterer separately (shout out to the amazing Red Sky Cafe) and really went above and beyond to ensure things went smoothly. Unfortunately, getting married with Hurricane Joaquin in the distance did change a few details of the festivities, but Heather handled the changes like a pro and made sure we stayed calm throughout the process and kept the vendors at ease as well. She truly stepped up in the face of a storm. Cannot recommend her services enough to any OBX bride looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented coordinator!

  Heather Events worked with me on the planning, floral arrangements, and fabric for my daughters wedding at Pirates Cove Pavilion. Everything was wonderful!   If you are looking for a florist who is great at what she does, then look no further. Heather was wonderful! I changed my floral styles several times and she was willing to work with me on these different styles as well as provide the best quality flowers for the summer season. Heather also provided a bamboo arbor that was perfectly decorated with coordinating flowers and ribbon to match my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets.

  I attended the Bridal Expo in the Outer Banks and this is where I found Heather. She was pregnant at the time and still did an amazing job with everything. I won $200 for my name being drawn at the expo, so that was very helpful. I absolutely LOVED my bridal bouquet. It was so full and gorgeous. It was very nice and easy doing business with Heather, I highly recommend her!

  Heather was absolutely amazing. Heather was our day of coordinator and provided our wedding day florals. Heather was great to work with and kept everyone one time and track during the event. It was the best money we spent that day to not worry about the details and just have the ability to enjoy the day to its fullest.
