Hannah is such an amazing photographer! We are so happy we went with her for our wedding. She is so great with people, and helps create such a warm and calm environment, while capturing some of the most beautiful photos I've ever seen! Our family and friends raved about her and the photos she captured. We loved working with her, and will recommend her to anybody and everybody. Thank you Hannah!! -

Amazing Photographer
Hannah was absolutely amazing and far exceeded all our wedding photographer dreams. My husband and I really wanted our wedding photos to capture the true essence of the day and Hannah did not let us down! She managed to capture every moment no matter how big or small and she did it all without us or any of our guests feeling like there was a camera in our face the whole day. Our final gallery is filled with stunning photos that we will treasure forever. Working with Hannah was so easy and she made the process so fun. She really listened to what we envisioned our photos to look like while also incorporating her own professional/artistic expertise. We had such a great experience working with Hannah and would recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer or just a photographer in general! -

Hannah is absolutely incredible. Her natural, documentary-esque style was everything we wanted in our wedding photos. We loved going through our album because we laughed and got teary eyed at so many candid shots she captured - and it was a TON! I'm not sure how she did it, but she took beautiful shots of many of our closest relatives and friends, as well as dancing photos of almost all of the other couples in attendance! Hannah is professional and personal. We really liked how she met with us in-person to get to know us and what we wanted before the big day. We would recommend Hannah in a heartbeat. We got so many compliments from our friends and families when we shared our photos. Her editing was gorgeous. Thank you so much, Hannah! -

Hannah and her team were awesome. I found Hannah through social media; her style seems to capture candid emotions so very well, and that is exactly what they did at our wedding. We had a rather "dramatic" wedding (I passed out at the altar) but she and her assistant were cool, empathetic and professional and somehow the pictures (both the posed "portraits" and the more spontaneous ones) are still gorgeous and documented the joy of the day and our loved ones. Would definitely recommend. -

We've known Hannah as a friend, but seeing her deliver such an incredible photographer experience and photos made us love her that much more! We wanted someone who would authentically document OUR day with OUR vision and also capture a few loving portraits. She did just that. Hannah clearly cares that her couples have their own story told and has real photos of their very real day. She is timely, flexible, professional, wickedly talented and a total riot. She's the person you want tagging along for all of those special moments throughout the day. We can't thank her or recommend her enough! -

Couldn't be happier with our photos!
I was initially drawn to the way Hannah captures authentic moments and our wedding album is just that! The album Hannah sent is full of real, tender, candid, and sweet moments from our wedding day. They truly transport us back and are more than we could have imagined! I have recommended Hannah to friends, and will continue to do that. She is easy to work with and captures moments so well with her camera. -

There are a ton of reasons why you should hire Hannah; here are my top ones!
- She's very responsive and knowledgeable. I asked her so many questions leading up to the wedding and she answered all of them with patience and humor.
- She helped us to relax in front of the camera, resulting in really great photos. Usually an engagement sesh helps with this, but this wasn't an option for us. Hannah made sure we didn't feel that lack by providing direction but also having a laidback vibe that encouraged us to be more ourselves.
- She's flexible and accommodating. Several things went wrong (delayed flights, etc) but Hannah totally went with the flow and also helped me remain calm. She also worked seamlessly with our videographer.
- And this should go without saying, but she takes incredible pictures. We are super grateful that she was able to document our wedding, and we look forward to enjoying those pictures for a lifetime to come.
11/10 would recommend! -

Hannah Henke photographed both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Engagement pictures in the middle of a field in Austin can be awkward, but Hannah Henke ensures you are comfortable and happy. She played music for us and was so excitable, my husband and I had SO much fun. On our big day, Hannah showed up early, stayed late, and photographed everything I had hoped she'd capture + more. Her images are unbelievable and she is able to capture emotions in a photo. Hannah doesn't just shoot the staged photos, she also captures photos that are candid and real, and I love how unique that is! We could not have been more thrilled with Hannah Henke as our photographer! -

COVID/Back up/Beach Wedding - St. Joseph, MI
2020 was a rough year for weddings. My original plan was a June destination wedding in Europe, which needed to be postponed, but we decided to have a local smaller ceremony outdoors on the beach. We booked with Hannah a bit last minute, and I am so happy to have had the chance to work with her and have her photograph our weddings. Hannah is a true joy to work with. She is flexible, kind, organized, and so creative. During the planning process, Hannah made sure to ask me what types of shots were important to me and then documented them and remembered all of them during the actual event. I’ve worked with several photographers and never heard of anyone else doing this, which adds true value because it is impossible to remember these details yourself when you are the bride (trust me). What I appreciated the most about working with Hannah is her team approach. Our photos turned out so so beautiful, and during the wedding several guests complimented on how nice our photographer was to work with. To sum it up, I highly recommend booking with Hannah for your wedding - I promise you will love working with her just like I did! -

I will use her forever!
Hannah is the best photographer that I have ever worked with. She is super professional, yet hilarious- which is super nice to have on a stressful day like your wedding day! I hired her to do both my engagement and wedding photos and I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. She makes you feel super comfortable in front of the camera, and gives you direction (which my poor self needed LOL!) Everyone in my family is obsessed- WILL USE AGAIN AND AGAIN! -

Booking Hannah Henke as your wedding photographer is by far the best decision you will make for your wedding day. She is NOTHING like any other photographer as most seem to care about styling the photos, staging moments, requesting poses, etc. In my opinion, this makes all other wedding photographer photos seemingly the same. Hannah is someone who is authentic - she captures the beautiful moments as they are. Her goal is to be there for you, to tell a story, to be attentive and to be fully present - not to force things, not to be anything that you’re not, or to instruct you on putting your shoulder down a little to the left so you will look a little slimmer.
Hannah along with her second shooter, Sarah, goes above and beyond and exceeds your expectations in every way. Hannah makes sure you are comfortable and cares about you before snapping a photo: my husband and I were incredibly shy in front of the camera and now we are completely comfortable kissing with someone taking a picture of it (though we are not making this a normal thing). She is in the background and not the constant moving distraction in the ceremony. She goes the extra mile: as some of my family members spoke exclusively Korean, for the family portraits Hannah learned a few Korean words so to communicate and help my family feel more comfortable.
All of our photos provoke an emotion from each and every person we share them with - whether it’s tears of joy, laughter, or even sadness, each of these photos are not just framed images - they are the intimate moments that we will forever cherish and relive and reflect on for many years to come. We could not have asked for a more perfect photographer to capture our most special day - hire Hannah Henke. You will not regret it. -

Hannah was great! Do it!
Hannah was so awesome! We were referred her by a friend in Texas and didn't regret it at all. The pictures came out AWESOME, and she was so easy to work with. Also, it really felt like we knew Hannah, and she cared about us. She connected so well with the whole wedding party, it felt like she was part of the family. She's the best! I highly recommend her for your next event! -

If you need a photographer who will capture your candid moments, make you feel comfortable in front of a camera, and make you feel/look like real life models, this is the girl for you. She has a special talent and a keen eye. She knows exactly what to do to get the shot she wants - and delivers! You'll feel like you've made a new friend by the end of your wedding - Hannah is hilarious, easygoing, and friendly, ALL while maintaining professionalism and getting her stuff done. We got married at a beautiful outdoor venue and snuck away to take some sunset photos in the woods/mountains, and the previews we are getting back are phenomenal! Be warned though - she's not afraid to get you out of your comfort zone, and my dress got dirty from the sunset photos. I guarantee though, 100% worth it. -

Hannah captured our day genuinely and beautifully!
Our engagement and wedding albums truly capture who we are as a couple and we are forever grateful for Hannah's talent, but even more thankful for her willingness to go above and beyond the title of photographer! Need her to help you decide on an outfit if you have questions? She'll do it. Need water because you just hiked to your picture destination and didn't think that through? She's got you. Need the most calm and lighthearted personality to balance out your stress level on your Wedding day? Hannah is your girl. One of my favorite things to do is scroll through our photos to remember some of our favorite days! The pictures are beautiful and our personalities show through genuinely!
Hannah can turn any scenario into greatness. In the middle of our engagement pictures, I fell in a knee deep "puddle." Hannah was sure to check on me first...but rather than panic that my clothes were... well, soaked, she kept shooting! She didn't miss a beat, and those pictures are some of my favorite ones, showing our personalities and genuine laughs the most! Hannah with always just "go with it." Everyone's story and relationships are different, and she will do what it takes to capture yours!
My husband and I aren't fans of being in front of the camera, BUT Hannah is ready to help you feel comfortable! I mean lets be honest.. taking romantic pictures is a vulnerable thing to do. Kissing in front of someone... weird. However, Hannah was an absolute champion at making that initial awkwardness go away! Our focus was always on a silly task or on each other, and we had so much FUN! We were encouraged to be ourselves, not to worry about our hair (soon to be husbands included), and the pictures were so much better than we could have imagined! I can remember each of the moments when looking back at them, and each time I go through them I find a new picture that I love more and more!
