    Kelley the coordinator was fantastic! In all aspects! Super friendly and willing to accommodate you the best she can. The food was AMAZING! MY WEDDING CAKE WAS PERFECT! I will hold any and all family functions here because of the excellent staff and services provided.
    An afternoon wedding from 12 - 4, the cake, the open bar, the buffet with 2 meats and 4 sides and 4 appetizers, the linens, they set up my cookie table! I had about 170 guests. Perfect place!

    I don't even know where to begin to describe the amazing experience I had at the Hampton Banquet Hall. From the moment my husband and I walked in to the hall and spoke to Kelley we knew this was the place we wanted to hold our reception. Kelley took the time to answer all of our questions (and believe me my husband had a lot) and made us feel comfortable with all of the decisions we made. Kelley and Evan made themselves available whenever we had a question or needed to come out to the hall to figure things out. They made the entire process so easy and stress free! Our wedding reception turned out even more beautiful than I ever imagined. Every detail was perfectly executed by Kelley, Evan and the rest of the staff. The food was even more exceptional than what we tasted at the open house and along the way. The in house DJ, Jimmy Mac was so so great! After only meeting with him for a short time, he knew exactly what we wanted for our reception and he did not disappoint! It's almost 2 weeks now since the reception and I am still getting compliments on the decor, the food, the DJ, and especially how welcoming and attentive the staff at the Hampton Banquet Hall was! If you are looking for a reception venue make sure the Hampton Banquet Hall is on your list to visit! I promise you they will not disappoint! I will recommend the Hampton Banquet Hall to everyone I know for future events! Kelley and Evan, thank you so much for delivering on our dream wedding! We loved working with you!

    We had our ceremony and reception at the Hampton Banquet Hall. What an awesome group of people to work with!!! Kelly and Kelley are very helpful and great communicators. Had a good variety of food packages. The Hampton Banquet Hall is the most flexible and beautiful venue - if you want to have a non-traditional wedding or a very formal wedding to everything in between. I would definitely recommend the Hampton Banquet Hall to anyone!!

    I HIGHLY recommend this venue! Kelley, the wedding coordinator at the Hampton Banquet Hall, and her assistant were extremely helpful in making my wedding a success. They were available to speak over the phone or meet with me whenever I needed them. They were also at my reception and made sure that everything went perfectly! The food was perfect, cake was amazing, and the overall experience was unforgettable.

    Wonderful banquet hall...cannot say enough good things about them! They made our wedding reception a fun evening by taking care of all the little details! Their staff is professional and easy to work with...any request we had was immediately taken care of! Would definitely recommend them!

    We had our wedding reception at the Hampton Banquet Hall, and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Kelley and Kelly handled absolutely everything, and I was one of those brides that called with questions and ideas at least every week or two. If I happened to contact them when they weren't in the office, they were very quick to call or email me back.

    Working with them was great, but the reception itself was amazing. There were a few issues that came up (I forgot to include two people on our seating chart so they didn't have a place to sit, etc), but everything was handled so well that I had no idea until I heard about it the next day. The food was amazing...we still have relatives commenting about how much they enjoyed their meal. They even upgraded our ham to a carving station for no charge.

    I did a lot of DIY projects to add personal touches to the reception, and they handled setting everything up exactly the way I asked. It was as low-stress as a wedding can be. I would 100% recommend the Hampton Banquet Hall to anyone getting married in the Pittsburgh area. An added bonus is that they offer discounted rates for receptions on Fridays and Sundays, and for guests over the child-age but under 21 (at least when we were planning, I haven't checked since).

    Kelly and the HBH staff were absolutely fabulous! I had my ceremony and reception there along with our rehearsal. Kelly even was able to hand a "momzilla". Kelly was very understanding with every little detail and assisted me with the day of my dreams. HBH has wonderful food, great choices for alcohol and great service. They include the linens, chair covers, cake and even the centerpieces. Everything was absolutely fantastic for my big day and was loved by the guests also.

    Kelley and the crew at HBH are amazing! From the very beginning, I was able to tell that they would ease me through the process. They were very receptive to all of the ideas and things that my husband and I wanted done. The day of our wedding, everything was done exactly as we had planned it with the hall. The only downside is that if you want any decoration above the dance floor (looks barren without), you have to pay extra, and it's not cheap. With this place, we had all inclusive: cake (baking, decorating, cutting, and boxing of top for 1 year anniversary), centerpieces for tables, decorating the hall, linens and tablecloths, fully decorated bridal table, they will provide serving knives and champagne flutes if needed, set up and clean up, boxing of cookies, open bar for 5 hours. It was nice to not have to worry about setting each of these things up on my own. The hall made our day so very special!

    The Hampton Banquent Hall was perfect for our ceremony. They set it up to look absolutely fabulous. They are very professional and did everything possible to make my day even more special. The ice sculpture that was part of our package was something unique and different. Everything was set up absolutely wonderful. I would definitely recommend the Hampton Banquet Hall as a venue. They are very flexible and a great value for the cost.

    I love this place and the staff. Throughout the entire process they have been accessable and helpful. Having so much at one place is so nice. All i ahve to do is call or email kelley and she takes care of contacting everyone else. The price is wonderful for such a beautiful venue.

    We chose the Hampton Banquet Hall for our wedding reception. Attending their annual open house was incredibly helpful. We met the chef and other vendors while enjoying a sampling of menu items. The chef confirmed that it was possible to make a menu item even if it was missing from the list. Kelley was creative with her menu advice and we achieved a selection of h'orderves and main courses that were plentiful and delicious. We received many compliments about the food! The chef is also to be commended on a terrific job! Kelley's centerpiece suggestions were also great. She even gave us the name of an awesome seamstress for a last minute emergency! Kelley's patience was unending as decisions were being changed about the table linens, order of the evening's events and menu. She adjusted her schedule to accommodate ours. Her kindness and understanding were very much appreciated. We also were helped by Kelli. They were professional and courteous and helped ease the stress of last minute details. Thank you!

    The hall is very spacious, the speakers are located on the ceiling, so that no table is too close to the music, nor too far away. The linens, cake and centerpieces come with the package, which is extremely helpful!

    I thought they were good-very helpful and they basically walk you through what is going to happen and what you need to do. Everything looked really nice-and the food was good. For a banquet hall, it was really good.

    The hall was beautiful and it was the best day of my life! The only concern I had was that I didn't feel like they really listened to the little things I asked for. For example, they gave my 15 year old maid of honor/sister a glass of champagne after I specifically told them about 3 or 4 times that it was a big deal that she not have alcohol, they changed some of the things they said at the beginning about pricing, and they set a box of chocolate roses on my seat! I asked for them to be near where I was sitting so i could hand them out later, but I had to bend over in my gown when everyone was staring at us to take this box off my seat, hand it to my husband to set on the floor in order to sit down...meanwhile everyone is taking photos. Having said all that, the food was awesome and the service was very nice. It really was great, just slightly disappointing to find out that I was just another bride to them who was probably being to picky in their minds.

    Never again

    I am writing this review in hopes that no other couple ever has to go through what my wife and I went through. Background: we got married during the pandemic -- it was a tough time for couples getting married and businesses that make a living from weddings and other live events alike. When we planned to get married a year and a half prior, there was no predicting that a global pandemic would force us to postpone and (then) ultimately decide to cancel our wedding after a second attempt and failure due to the pandemic. Up until this point, HBH and its staff were the most pleasant people imaginable. However, when we ultimately had to cancel the wedding because our postponed date did not work, we felt those same pleasant people turned very selfish, rude, and combative. I called for days during their listed business hours to no answer. I left a few well-mannered messages to try and entice a return to my calls. Now, we understood that there was no perfect solution. Either we would lose out or HBH would, and we felt that neither party should fully lose out. So, we asked for a 50% refund/50% credit. Seemed fair to us -- we'd get some money back and we'd also have a commitment to give HBH some business for a future event. Unfortunately, we were met with unwillingness to meet us halfway (HBH leaned on its unchanged, pre-pandemic 'non-refundable deposits' policy) and, upon pressing for the compromise, we were met with what we felt were very nasty exchanges in which we had to choose between catering or fearing that we would get absolutely nothing. So, we took the voucher in hopes that we could use it for something positive in the future. Fast forward to this year -- we finally found use for our voucher in planning a family party. However, I was not quick to forget the experience my wife and I went through with HBH, so I asked a family member if they would help plan the event. Things were once again going smoothly until the first of a new set of red flags -- they wanted another security deposit on top of the hefty deposit we had already made/they kept from our canceled wedding! I stomached this because I feared again that if we pushed back, the business would walk away and we would have wasted so much time, effort, and money. As the event got closer, the family member that was previously communicating with HBH for planning the event called me to let me know that he was having issues getting in touch with HBH and that when he finally did get through, the manager/owner told him that he was harassing the business and its employees -- I kid you not, he ONLY left voicemails asking for HBH to get back to him about planning an event that was two weeks away! Starting to notice a pattern? I was pleasant enough to take over planning at that point to get the event and our money across the finish line, but I would never ever do business with these people again nor recommend them to anyone even considering booking an event here. The sad reality is, had they given us a positive experience, I would have recommended them without hesitation to any friends and family searching for an event venue (since like I said, they were very, very pleasant at first). Unfortunately, this situation soured very quickly and the ugliest part about it is, from our perspective, that these people know how to "turn it on" and sell us on their kindness up front, only to look out for themselves and be nasty in wake of complications. That is the worst kind of business in my opinion.
