  I would choose Hamilton Bakery over and over again for my wedding cake if I could!! Ruben was great to work with-he makes absolutely beautiful and delicious cakes! The prices at Hamilton Bakery and the best you will find hands down. The cake itself was beautiful and simple, exactly how I'd imagined it. And it was by far the best wedding cake I've ever had, We ended up ordering a little bit more than we needed...but I was happily eating leftovers for days! :)

  We chose Hamilton bakery because it was on our preferred bakers list and I couldn't have been happier with our cake!! We didn't want anything traditional with fondant and flowers. We just wanted a really good tasting cake that we would love. The bakery was so easy to work with, we scheduled our tasting and had a hard time picking just one flavor!!! We went with a yellow cake with chocolate butter cream in between the layers and then frosted with peanut butter buttercream. The cake was moist and the buttercream frosting was perfect. Not too sweet and the peanut butter was not overpowering!!!! You also get an included cake for your one year anniversary!!

  Hamilton Bakery made a beautiful cake for my wedding. I wanted cupcakes for my guests and the Bakery suggested that if I was going to only need the cake for the cake cutting then I should use a false bottom tier. It was an appreciated suggestion as it was a money saver. Everyone raved about the cupcakes! Everything tasted delicious!

  My husband absolutely loves Hamilton bakery so for our wedding (small, intimate, family only ceremony) my mother ordered a small wedding cake. The baker assisted her over the phone with suggestions based on what she said we like and the outcome was amazing!!! The cake was white with a "Rose dust" I believe they called it, basically chocolate icing over the cake and then white buttercream roses as the top icing. It was phenomenal!!!! Everyone wanted some of the leftovers and we personally enjoyed them for days!!!

  The staff at Hamilton Bakery were wonderful. Very helpful and attentive. Our wedding cake was OUT OF THIS WORLD! So yummy! All of our guests raved about how delicious it was. I think I heard, " the best wedding cake I've ever had." 100% satisfied 100% going back to the bakery to see what other goodies they have!

  Hamilton Bakery did a beautiful job on our wedding cake. Everyone was raving about the carrot cake that we chose and people were actually coming up to me asking if there was anymore! They were awesome with designing the cake, and suggestive about what they thought would look best and supported our ideas as well. They made picking out our wedding cake easy! We also used Hamilton Bakery for our wedding favors of chocolate covered pretzels. They came out adorable!

  Hamilton Bakery is a a gem of a find. After going through several bakeries with not being happy with the taste or the price, I was so glad to find them. From the tasting to the professionalism - they were great to deal with and worked with our budget to get exactly what we wanted. The cupcakes were phenominal.... the carrot cake cupcakes especially. Not many bakeries make their own raspberry filling either, and its usually jammy, but their is homemade and tastes exactly how its supposed to.
  
  My wedding cake stayed fresh for a week and I just at the last piece - tasted as good as on our wedding day! I can't wait for our first anniversary for another one!

  Hands down, this was the most fresh & most delicious cake I've ever had in my 32 years on this earth.... no joke. I will order ALL of my cakes from Hamilton Bakery going forward!!!! It was beautiful, it was unique & not only designed around exactly what I wanted, Anita (the head decorator) actually insisted that I come back to try more flavor combinations, because she was willing to create a custom cake flavor for me. The result? A PUMPKIN CAKE (lightly spiced) with an APPLE flavored crème filling!!!!!!! (you're very welcome, Fall brides!!!)

  I am actually the mother of the bride and went with my daughter to a tasting at Hamilton Bakery. Not only were we impressed with what we tasted, It was even more impressive that Anita invited us to come back because she had a better idea of what the bride wanted. Not only did she go above and beyond, the cake itself was moist and delicious. My advice to brides: order double because most guests went back for seconds! My daughter just brought a small cake from Hamilton bakery that replicated the cake at her wedding to my house for our Thanksgiving dessert. We could not wait a whole year to enjoy that delicious Pumpkin/apple cake. Delicious! If Hamilton hasn't put that on their fall offerings, they should! I cannot say enough good things about Anita whose professionalism, warmth and talent was unsurpassed by any of the other bakers we visited. All that great service, and the price was extremely reasonable! We were very happy. I plan to order birthday cakes from Hamilton Bakery if I know my daughter is coming !!!!!

  When you're choosing the perfect cake for your perfect day, you do a lot of research and a LOT of tasting. There's never any shortage of friends or family members willing to tag along and eat cake with you and offer their opinions - it's one of the most enjoyable tasks in the wedding planning process, and my groom, bridesmaids, mom and I all had a wonderful time sampling all kinds of cake from all sorts of vendors.
  
  I found out about Hamilton Bakery from one of my honor attendants who is addicted to their bread, and we made an appointment to sample their cakes. Before the tasting, I had already half-committed (in my own mind) to another wonderful cake artist, but after tasting the pound cake with fresh strawberry filling and European buttercream icing, we were sold.
  
  I habitually leave icing and eat the cake only, as most icings are overly sweet and granular in my opinion. This icing was light, distinctive, delectable. The pound and the lemon pound were rich and filling, and the thin layer of strawberry complemented the other flavors perfectly. The tasting also had a generous, professional feel to it. Whereas some places had the four of us all sample from a single piece at a tiny table, Kristen at Hamilton reserved a table for us laid with water glasses, plates and utensils and cut individual slices of several kinds of specially prepared mini-cakes for us to try. Delightful!
  
  Hamilton was happy to work with the inspiration photographs I provided and was able to work with my budget by providing a beautiful little three-tiered show cake (round, 10, 8, and 6 inch tiers) and a larger sheet cake of the same caliber to be sliced in the kitchen. I paid a total of $298 for this combination, which more than served to feed all of our guests (we had about 85, though some didn't have room for dessert owing to our fabulous lunch) AND all of my coworkers when I brought in the remainder two weeks later. Delivery and set up to our reception site in Bel Air was free.
  
  Hamilton will also provide us with a 6 inch anniversary cake next year free of charge, but I may not be able to wait that long to taste such divine cake and icing again!
  
  Some final words - Hamilton is new to the area and - to my knowledge - hadn't done wedding cakes prior to ours, so it's a credit to the quality of their products that Pratish and I were willing to chance hiring them without prior reiews (apart from feedback from the friend who's addicted to their bread) to rely upon. We were delighted with the results, both in terms of the cake's flavor and appearance, and we had no issues at all with setup. Oh! Before I forget, I also want to highlight the fact that preserving it in the freezer was soo easy, and when we thawed it two weeks later to offer around at work, it was as delicious as the first day. The icing AND the cake had lost nothing to the passage of time or the freezing/thawing process. Amazing!
  
  We look forward to sampling their other baked goods as the Fall sets in.

We had four cakes (we take dessert very seriously!) which flavors we decided on after our tasting appointment which was so fun. We went with salted caramel, chocolate raspberry, carrot cake, and vanilla and all of them were delicious. We wanted a mix of "naked" cakes styles and they all looked perfect. I highly recommend this bakery!

  Hamilton Bakery is a neighborhood bakery that we frequent and really like. The baker who did our wedding cake was very inflexible about the pricing and ideas I had for my groom's cake so I went there to see what they could do. We met with Allison who was very creative and we felt very comfortable with. The cake flavors we tasted were all amazing and the price was much more in line with our budget. The only "problem" was that Allison quit the week of our wedding. They did call me to let me know that and to ensure that her notes were accurate to what I wanted. That made me a little bit concerned since I had worked with her for months but I appreciated them letting me know and was confident that the cake would turn out right. In the end, the cake was beautiful. It was a tribute to my husbands time in band in college. All of his band friends were very impressed in how it turned out. And everyone that had a piece (unfortunately I did not) said it was delicious. I'm seriously considering reordering this cake for our anniversary instead of the wedding cake that we had. Based on those that tried both cakes, most preferred our groom's cake to the actual wedding cake.

  We booked them, did our tasting, then couldn't get a response for them for months. 20 days out from our wedding, I saw a facebook post that they were closing. No one ever contacted me or returned my phone calls/emails, leaving me to find a new cake vendor less than three weeks out.
