  Unforgettable and Amazing Experience!!!

  Guy Harvey was so amazing to work with. They had everything set up exactly how we wanted and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff were always so nice as well. Our guests loved our wedding and said it was one of the best. We booked with less than 100 days to go until our wedding because we just didn't know what to do. Even with such short notice, Guy Harvey pulled everything together. Would absolutely go back!!

  A beautiful venue

  Working with the staff at Guy Harvey was the best experience I could have asked for. From start to finish communication was very through. Heather the wedding event coordinator was exceptional! We were in communication for a little less than a year before our event, she was always prompt with email responses and made sure to send us reminders to make sure we had applied for the necessary permits. During our big weekend, the staff onsite was swift and polite, willing to go above and beyond at a moments notice. Both the ceremony and venue sites are both Beautiful! I look forward to our next visit to the Guy Harvey Resort, they have a customer for years to come!

  Have your wedding here!!

  Wow what an a perfect venue and experience overall!! Cannot thank Heather- sales manager enough or the whole event staff. They went above in beyond with set up, clean up, and helping out. So kind, professional, and helpful. I had many requests being out of state and heather was beyond reassuring along with responsive. The resort for amenities and stay, ceremony, and reception were amazing!

  Highly recommend Guy Harvey resort!!

  We chose Guy Harvey Resort for our wedding last June. My husband and I both really wanted a beach wedding and a reception by the pool. We looked everywhere. As soon as we say the Guy Harvey resort we knew it would be perfect.We couldn't have been any happier with our day. Ava made this day so special! She took care of everything for us and made the day absolutely perfect she went above and beyond for us, our guests and family. My mom turned 90 the day we got married and Ava presented her with a birthday cake. She felt like such a queen that day.
  No matter what we asked she immediately took care. Our friends still talk about the resort and that day. Most of our guests stayed at the hotel for the weekend and all talked so highly of the accommodations. The food at our reception was delicious! They have so many choices to choose from. We had 50 guests and the area by the pool was perfect for the reception! Plenty of room for dancing and fun. We plan on going back for our anniversary weekend this year. I could go on and on about Ava and the staff. This is truly the most professional and caring staff I have ever met.

  Ava Peoples was wonderful to work with! Very helpful...great listening to both my husband and I as we shared our ideas for our wedding. She help us make our day beautiful and headache-free!! Highly recommend!!

  Love love love this venue! It's so beautiful both inside and out. Karen, the coordinator, is so sweet too. She made me feel really comfortable and less stressed through the planning process. I haven't even had my wedding yet and I'm super impressed. The rates are super flexible and the payment plans they have really reduced my stress.

  We planned our wedding here all the way from Buffalo, NY and were very nervous because neither of us had ever been here before! But we took a chance, and we are so glad we did! Our event coordinator John Hill was always professional and kind and was very accommodating. Our reception room was just beautiful, as were the centerpieces. And the food, which I was most nervous about since I had never eaten there before, was incredible. Everyone said it was the absolute best wedding food they've ever had. Most of my guests, including my husband, chose the sirloin with shrimp. It was cooked and flavored perfectly which we all know is extremely difficult to master when cooking for a whole wedding! We plan on coming back for our anniversaries as often as possible. It truly was our perfect wedding! Thank you John Hill and all of your wonderful staff!

  Good experience with John, Celeste, and Neele. The front desk and room service employees were also very polite. My husband and I were very happy with our reception turn out.

  Holiday isle is a great place for events.I attended a wedding in November.The space was spacious and elegant. I was very impressed with Austin the resorts coordinator.It was obvious he had a lot of experience. The whole event came off effortless. Im planning and looking forward with working with the resort and Austin on future events.

  Leading up to and during the reception--the staff went above and beyond to be helpful. Everyone was very professional and friendly. The events manager, Austin, met with us several times in advance and worked well with our wedding coordinator to make sure the night was a success. Originally when we booked the venue for our reception it was with an employee who left the company shortly after. So when Austin took over our account, he was walking in without very much information about who we were & what we wanted. It could have been a nightmare if Austin wasn't a pro at what he does. He smoothed out some issues that arose due to the changes in the sales department. He put us first and worked to make the night everything we wanted it to be. Austin was also able to work with everyone involved in the event and was flexible when we made requests. Even the night before when my sister and I wanted the room layout changed around- he was approachable and agreeable. The night of, Austin was there for the reception and very hands-on in making it the best experience possible for us and our guests. The hotel facility could use updates/remodeling, but the staff professionalism and service help to counter this. They made sure we had chair covers and bows, table linens, and Austin helped our wedding oordinator use our decorations to create a beautiful atmosphere for the banquet room. We also had pleasant experiences reserving a hotel block with front desk and discussing menu options with chef. Our main concern was having food that both families would enjoy and having plenty of it. The dinner was well received by our guests and we definitely had more than enough. The cost of the food and bar was affordable. More importantly, it was the budget we had set in advance with the hotel; there were no "hidden" charges. When we were in the planning stages, I did not feel like the staff tried to sell us things just to make more money- they listened to what we wanted and gave us sound advice.

  Wedding Reception was held at Holiday Inn which is now Holiday Isle Oceanfront Resort, everything was great. Guests stayed at the hotel so no one had to travel after the party was over. Very professional and polite.

  Had our daughter's wedding on St. Aug. Beach and the reception in the Holiday Isle Oceanfront Resort. Also had rooms @ H.I. for the weekend. Everything turned out perfectly. Austin Dyess was our event planner, and did an amazing job. He was very helpful, detailed and calming when things got hectic. Our bartender Sari was top notch, and our wait staff; Bridgette, Jalen, Matt and Marcus were 2nd to none. If you are looking for a wedding venue, I would definitely recommend Holiday Isle. They did an awesome job for us :-)

  The hotel is an older property but is well maintained. The location is exceptional and access to the beach is phenomenal (no wheelchair beach access at the hotel but vehicle access is near by). Our travelers booked 7 rooms for the event. Only one individual had a complaint about their room, unfortunately it was one of the brides who found her bed to be very uncomfortable.
  We held our reception on the property and were very satisfied with the facility and service. Hotel staff were very responsive to our needs and offered extra services when our planning fell short. Bar service was good; the food trays we chose for the reception were abundantly supplied and the spinach dip was awesome as were the chips served with it. However I expected better quality seafood from a coastal hotel (steamed shrimp were over done but tasty; the seafood dip and chicken fingers were only okay).
