Angela made the entire process so simple. She was very professional and accommodating. Every time I made a specific request, she made it happen. The day of the wedding was perfect. Her staff did a spectacular job. They were so friendly and made everyone feel welcomed. Kudos goes out to the bartender and wait staff. They were just the best.

AMAZING!! We worked with Angela Rogers for an incredible wedding reception. Angela was VERY communicative, knowledgable, and flexible with us while we were balancing a lot of different aspects. The staff at the Marriott were exceptional, everywhere from check-in to check-out. Our food was delicious, fresh, and hot, and It was brought out as soon as needed to replenish. I would highly recommend.

Where can I start? This was a great venue. Angela, the consultant who was helping us went out of her way to make sure our day was beautiful, and it was. We even plan to visit. I recommend this place highly.

We hosted our end of year party for Ever Be Floral at the Marriott and were completely blown away by all of their staff! We worked with Angie and Shayla, and both of them were incredible attentive to all of our questions! The catering was just outstanding - large portions and incredible food. We have nothing but amazing things to say about this venue and would recommend them to everyone!

I had my wedding here back in 2015, I must say it was everything I wanted and them some. Manager Angie Rodgers, Chris, and the entire staff was absolutely amazing!! I recommend any bride and groom to use this venue, beautiful facility, good food, and a phenomenal staff. Very pleased!!

My husband and I can't say enough Bout the Marriott Downtown staff. Mrs. Browning & staff took care of our every needs and wants. All our guest was taken care of as well. The hotel is in a great location.

My reception was awesome! It was better than I ever imagined. My parents had rented the Governor's Room, which is a decent size banquet room on the first floor of the hotel. However, as the date approached, the ballroom upstairs had not been booked so the hotel offered to move our reception to the ballroom. It was so big and spacious and everything was just wonderful. Also, my husband and I scheduled the reception so that we got to go through the buffet line first and the food was superb! The Marriott also included the cake as part of the package that we chose and allowed me to choose how I wanted it designed and decorated. They were even ok with my florist coming in and arranging the flowers on top of the cake before everyone arrived. The cake was great- best wedding cake I have ever had! It truly was a dream come true!

Overall, they did a great job! Angie was amazing!

We wish we had known that Erin wasn't the specialist for weddings. We would have understood some of the confusion earlier in the process. She was very professional but once Angela came back, we better understood why there was confusion earlier (due to the COVID-19 understaffing). Both Erin and Angela were great; we found that we had better overall response when Angela came back (and this in no way means a negative towards Erin). We just should have been told more up front.

Had a wonderful experience with Angie! She loves what she does and will bend over backwards to make sure your day is perfect! Honestly, it was a great experience to have my reception at this location!

This venue was beautiful, the event center management was spectacular. However my decorator noticed dirty dishware and requested for it to be return/exchanged and the main dish was not as good as it was for my tasting and upset some of my guest's stomach. The wait staff was very "dead". No smiles, no "you're welcome" when guest said thank you. They would stare in an odd way. The cash bar was my biggest waste of money. I've experience a cash bar before that would take credit cards as well, our cash bar would not. It resulted in a lot of my guest using the hotel bar or running back and forth to the ATM on another floor. Overall, it was a great experience. If they take heed to this review, they would be absolutely perfect.
