The second we walked into the venue when touring before our wedding we knew that we needed to book. The pictures online are beautiful, but you really need to see it yourself to understand what a phenomenal venue this is. Venue aside, the owners are incredible to work with. They work extremely hard to ensure your dream wedding comes to fruition. Every last detail turned out exactly how we had imagined it and there was little to no stress involved; you know that this venue will turn out perfect! We got married at Green Gates in June of 2023 and the venue was absolutely perfect!! From the beginning, Debbie and Kerry were so kind, professional, flexible, easy to communicate with and quick to jump in and help with any questions or needs that we had. They work so hard to keep the venue looking stunning and to make all their couples feel comfortable and at home at their venue. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. We got so many compliments on it from all of our guests and vendors. Both our photographer and videographer couldn't stop talking about how many perfect locations there were for photos/video and how photogenic the whole venue was. The property is spacious with beauty everywhere you look. They have a whole closet full of decor and extras that you can borrow for the day to decorate and make your visions come to life. On wedding day, Kerry and Debbie were around to help and answer any questions we (or our vendors) had. The venue has everything you could need for a beautiful, fun wedding that your guests will love. plus it's the best if you want absolutely stunning wedding photos. I really couldn't say enough good things about this venue and the amazing owners. If you're considering booking them for your wedding - do it! You will not regret it! It's the best decision we made for our wedding and we are beyond happy with how perfectly everything turned out!! -

This snohomish wedding venue is a beautiful place for a lakeside wedding. The outdoor space is lovingly landscaped and every aspect of this property is well thought out. Great views, and a perfect semi-indoor space for a reception rain or shine! The venue owners were kind, helpful & offered top shelf service! The photo opportunities at this lakeside wedding venue are plentiful! I'm cant wait to come back and photograph another wedding! -

This venue is gorgeous! There is at least a dozen amazing spots for photos. The owners are so helpful, responsive, kind and made sure our day went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone! Our friends and family are still talking about how gorgeous it was! -

This venue is a gem among the many barn-chic options in Snohomish. Green Gates is a gorgeous venue with good options to accommodate rain or shine. The owners have poured so much love and time into making the property beautiful. They also responded quickly to all our questions during the planning process and were kind and flexible with us throughout! The addition of water views and the personal touches created by the owners elevates this space above all the rest. -

Green Gates was the perfect venue for our special day! Debbie was so helpful and treated us like family. I love the variety of spaces and photo ops this venue offered. Not only is the reception area cute enough that we barely had to buy decor, they also have a decor closet that had a wide variety of things to choose from. We loved that the venue was down the street from the Flowing Lake campground. Our bridal party spent the weekend at the campground, which was so much fun. -

The best day of our lives was at Green Gates at Flowing Lake! We cannot thank Debbie & Kerry enough- our wedding was absolute perfection and I wish we could relive that day over and over. We fell in love with this venue not only because of the gorgeous landscape and uniqueness, but because of the owners. Debbie & Kerry are incredible and ensure that the venue grounds are up-kept, guests are happy and they were constantly checking in with us to make sure the day was everything we had hoped for and more. -

Having our wedding at Green Gates was the best decision that we made during this wedding process (besides saying "yes!" to my fiance of course). Couple of things that make Green Gates stand out from the rest:
1) Kerry and Debbie, the owners of this venue - From the beginning, both of them were so kind, generous, and helpful. They take pride in their venue, as they should, because both of them work hard to make it as beautiful as it is. They were attentive to answering any questions (in person or email) and truly wanted to make it the best day.
2) THE VENUE! - the pictures truly don't do it justice. PLEASE go visit to see it. Our photographer loved the space so much that he gave us 2 additional hours of coverage so he could capture the different photograph locations. Our guests kept saying how it was the best venue they've been to.
3) The rental closet - Kerry & Debbie are incredibly generous hosts and allow access to use their decor and supplies. I'm talking vases, candles, easels, chalkboards, aisle decor, random decor you didn't even know you needed or wanted! This helped us save so much money.
4) Convenience - the generous time you get at the venue helped put everything at ease. Everyone got ready at the venue, which allowed more time to hang out and relax. The bridal cottage and grooms cabin is so useful. Kerry & Debbie truly thought of everything!
Our day was the best and Green Gates had so much to do with it. THANK YOU KERRY & DEBBIE!! -

This was truly a dream venue for our wedding. From the moment we pulled up to view it we just knew it was a perfect fit and when our day finally came it did not disappoint. We hardly needed any decorations because the venue spoke for itself. Debbie & Kerry were SO wonderful to work with. Absolute perfection. -

As with most pandemic weddings, we had to postpone our June 2020 wedding to 2021. Debbie and Kerry were in contact and very helpful throughout the process of changing dates and keeping us on track. They preemptively kept us in the know about safety measures leading up to June 2021 and honestly, without their help and support in the months before and the day of, the wedding would not have been a success.
The venue itself is beautiful near Flowing Lake. It was the first venue we saw and ended up falling in love with it. Even after looking at other venues, we know it had to be Green Gates. There were many fun little touches that made it stand out. Wide open grassy areas for lawn games, cute little bar right next to the reception space, comfortable bridal suite and a rustic grooms cabin. Picture opportunities galore, a cool shady spot for large group photos, covered reception space in case of rain, and the constant improvements Debbie and Kerry make. Apart from the venue Debbie had a sheet of other wedding vendor recommendations. We picked three vendors from that list and all were amazing.
Our wedding was a blast, every guest told us about how amazing the venue was but really Debbie & Kerry (and team) were even better and no.1 reason any prospective couples should pick this place. -

Amazing!!!
Kerry and Debbie were amazing to work with! They were quick to respond to emails and completely professional, and yet so down to earth! The price you are initially quoted, is the price you will pay when it’s all said and done…there are no hidden charges or fees. Not only are the owners wonderful people, but Green Gates is absolutely beautiful! You really have to see it in person! We walked away from that day feeling like we could not have possibly picked a better venue for our daughter’s wedding! According to her, it truly was the best day of her life, and Kerry and Debbie had a big part to play in making that possible! -

Excellent and Fantastic
The service of the owners and the on-site wedding staff made this a wonderful experience. Every question was answered quickly and Debbie let us come back to the venue a few times before the wedding to make sure our plans were on track. She gave us ideas and listened to every desire, need and strived to make everything exactly the way the bride wanted. -

My husband and I could not be happier with our decision to go with Green Gates as our wedding venue! The property is gorgeous! There are so many beautiful and unique nooks and crannies throughout, that are great for taking photos and escaping the heat if it’s a hot summer day like ours was. Debbie and Kerry have built everything themselves and you can tell by the care and attention to small detail how much love they put into building this venue. Not to mention, they are both incredibly sweet and kind! The first day Debbie came up and gave us a big hug and we already felt like family. I can not recommend Green Gates at Flowing Lake enough to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue! All of our guests kept raving about it, and asking how in the world we found it. We would choose it again in a heartbeat! :) -

The venue itself is gorgeous, and they work so hard to keep it looking it’s best. They were very responsive and friendly even though I emailed them with many questions. They are such kind people and even helped us out with things during the day of - for example, our caterer left the leftover food out (did not put in fridge) and they noticed and made sure it made it into the fridge so it wouldn’t go bad. I can’t say enough good things about the gorgeous venue and Debbie & Kerry. Would recommend without any reservations - if you’re lucky enough to find an open date, snag it! Thank you Debbie & Kerry

Kerry and Debbie are so wonderful to work with and have done a beautiful job with their venue. The day of our wedding they teamed up so well with our family to get things set up, have everything running smoothly during the wedding, and getting everything take down at the end in record time. So so glad we choose Green Gates at Flowing Lake for our wedding. It was the best day of our lives!

They have put a lot of work into the area to make it so gorgeous and were very helpful on the day of. We loved having our ceremony on the lawn facing the lake and the barn reception. Will always be in love with this venue
Love this venue so much it’s so beautiful we barely did anything to decorate and I will always be obsessed with this venues beauty. They are responsive to emails and great to work it. The clean up was smooth and easy and they did great at helping with changing from doing the ceremony on the lawn to inside as it decided to rain an hour before our ceremony was to start. They had a plan already in place incase it happened. They didn’t hover and make us feel like they were trying to micromanage to control the evening but let everyone have fun. Highly recommend this venue the price is worth it for everything you get. -

Beautiful venue with quintessential PNW vibes
Green Gates is an absolutely incredible wedding venue. The venue features a wonderful combination of outdoor ceremony space with covered reception area on a LAKE with a quintessentially PNW vibe. I was nervous getting married in September in the PNW due to possibility of rain, but once I saw this venue I knew that rain or shine we would have a wonderful day, and despite the off and on rain, we did! Our top features also mentioned in other reviews: bridal cottage and groom's cabin offer wonderful places for getting ready, covered reception area with beautiful chandelier hanging from the roof and other rustic design elements, very cool bar/outdoor cocktail hour space with barrels for tables, so many wonderful outdoor features/spaces for taking photos, and tons of decor options available for use (including some beautiful white lanterns we used as table decor). -
