Perfect venue and delicious wedding food!

I don't ever write reviews. Seriously. But Green Acre Campus Point deserves one. If you’re looking at the size of this review and wondering if you should read through it, or if you should book this venue, and wondering if the food is good, let me summarize for you. Trust me and my husband. Book it. This place is perfect for your wedding. For those who don’t mind reading, here are the details: One of our wedding guests came up to us during the wedding reception and asked: “How did you guys find this place? It’s like a secret of San Diego! Nobody knows about it and it is such a great place!” My now husband (feels so weird to call him that) was the one who found the venue on Wedding Wire, read all its reviews, toured the place while FaceTiming me because I was busy at work, and he booked the venue. The deciding factor? Primarily because the venue was absolutely stunning, but also because the venue had games – corn hole, pin ball machine, billiards table, ping pong, arcade basketball. We wanted our guests to have fun, but we also enjoyed all these games as well. Everybody loved all the games!! Great alternative to photo booth! The location is set in a corporate area…it’s the only restaurant in the corporate complex. We thought it was odd at first, but you don’t even notice it at all. But the venue décor is unbeatable, and we didn’t really have to decorate much. We booked the Full Venue, which has a fee, but it was so worth it. We utilized every space of the venue, including areas by the parking lot which turned out great for photos. What’s neat is that each space of the venue is unique and themed. My mom is very picky and usually won’t share her thoughts or comments unless she really likes something; it has been two weeks since our wedding and my mom cannot stop talking about how much she liked the venue for its layout, design, look and feel. What’s interesting about the venue is that there is plenty of indoor and outdoor space. We started out with the outdoor space, and for cake cutting, we moved all the guest indoors, followed by dancing indoors. We worked with Kayla Bishar, the catering manager, and she answered her phone and emails at all hours of the day, very responsive. She was easy to work with, and very knowledgeable of the venue and of weddings. Next thing my husband and I want to rave about is the food – look no further folks. There is such a thing as GOOD WEDDING FOOD (in fact, EXCELLENT)! We were blown away during the tasting at the venue….everything we tried was so delicious, it made it very hard to narrow down what we actually wanted to serve at the wedding. For appetizers, we had the mojo pulled pork, pork belly sliders, and white pizza. For reception, we had the scallops, beef short rib, and a pasta. Multiple guests came up to us saying they’ve never had such good food at a wedding before. Another guest came up to us saying that the scallops were the best scallops they’ve ever had, EVER. We loved the venue so much that we even held our rehearsal “happy hour” so that our guests can fully enjoy the venue. We all had a blast at the wedding at Green Acre, and we want to do it all over again. Thank you for reading this review to the end. We hope you have an amazing wedding!!!!!

    Second to none!!

Green Acre is not your typical wedding venue in a spectacular way. The layout and spacing is second to none with accommodating different spaces for each phase of the wedding night ( ie. ceremony, cocktail hr, dancing) with ease and beauty. This unique space allows for endless creativity to bring your dream wedding to life with both indoor and outdoor options. We are forever grateful to the staff at Green Acre from Victoria, the venue coordinator who guides you with ease and very receptive and quick at that, to the servers & bartenders who were very friendly and never let a glass or plate go empty. Our wedding had 150 guests and they were quick to keep lines moving and regulating transitions from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. The food was amazing from the tasting experience to the transition of the wedding day. This venue also extended the party until midnight and it was easy to grab Ubers at the end of the party. We had numerous guests over compliment the venue and how beautiful and different it was. Do not even flinch at hosting your wedding here…it will forever be one for the memory books!

This is a review for the Green Acre Nautilus at 3535 General Atomics Ct in Torrey Pines!!! After visiting this place my fiancee (now wife) and I knew immediately that this was going to be the perfect venue for our wedding. The facility can be anything from rustic to elegant or a mix of both, you can be inside, outside or both. The staff is top rate and were an absolute pleasure to work with, and the food was nothing short of spectacular. The staff was very attentive to all of our needs. They were very helpful, polite and accommodating to all our guests. Our guests are still commenting on the great food and uniqueness of this venue. It was worth every dollar we spent and we would do it all over again in a heartbeat! A huge shout out to Victoria Wade ( catering manager) as she helped make this all happen! We would highly recommend this venue if you are considering hosting an event or a wedding!!

Amazing venue! We fell in love with it as soon as we saw it and knew it would be our place. It's a great value for renting out the space and the customer service definitely goes above and beyond. It can be a little pricey, but they're very up front with all pricing and are willing to work with you however possible. I cannot recommend them enough!

We recently did our wedding reception at Green Acre and it was MAGICAL. I can't recommend Victoria Wade and her team enough. Victoria was like an on-site wedding coordinator. She went above and beyond on everything. There was not a detail missed. If you want a combination of incredibly high-quality food and industrial-sheak ambience, Green Acre is THE place to host your reception. We are so happy we did!

We had our wedding ceremony & reception at Green Acre Campus Point last weekend, June 11, 2016. It was just PERFECT. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how fabulous the venue was. You end up saving some money because you don't have to rent furniture or set up a mobile kitchen. Since it's a restaurant M-F, you can just repurpose their beautiful collection of eclectic tables and chairs on-site and take advantage of their full-service kitchen. The food was incredible, the staff were an absolute joy to work with, and every step of the planning process was a breeze because the catering manager Taylor Berk is a superstar!!!!! We LOVED working with Taylor. We had such a wonderful time celebrating with our loved ones at Green Acre Campus Pointe. We wish we could get married all over again so we could throw another party there! :)

Green Acre Campus Pointe is such a beautiful and unique venue. We loved the mix of nature and urban elements. We had our ceremony in the stunning garden overlooking the valley, and then had our reception about 100 yards away in the restaurant/outdoor patio area. There is so much cool space to utilize at this venue. I have a feeling it's going to get extremely popular as a wedding venue over the next few years. Our guests were raving about the space the whole night. We loved the views, the firepit, the games, and the food will absolutely blow you away. It's quite rare to have such incredible wedding food. Overall, this is just an amazing place to get married.

We looked at SO many venues before finding Green Acre Campus Pointe- a hidden gem. We wanted a venue with a nature component, but didn't have to end super early. We had our ceremony in the garden (which in April was blooming & beautiful), which overlooks the canyon. We had our cocktail hour on the patio, dinner in the main atrium, and dancing on the patio.

Here are AMAZING things about Green Acre:
    * The venue buyout, is a GREAT value. It's a one stop shop since there are so many parts to the venue. They had three possible ceremony sites, and since you had the whole space, you could choose which rooms you wanted to incorporate into your reception.
    * My bridal party and I were able to use a beautiful room upstairs in the venue to get ready in the morning. It had lots of natural light, which my make up artists raved about.
    * The food is delicious! While you're locked into their catering, it is really good food- all our guests complimented it!
    * The venue is filled with unique decor and games. They provided really fun, unique "king & queen chairs" for our sweetheart table, and I didn't have to do any reception decorations except a few signs and flower centerpieces! They also had mini basketball, corn hole, and ping pong that could be moved throughout the space. These were a hit with our guests!
    * They were SO flexible. They came in an hour early so we could get ready the morning of with enough time before photos. They accommodated ALL dietary needs.

My only feedback is that there were communication holes. Small (but important) details weren't shared at the appropriate times (e.g. we didn't know we needed to rent ceremony chairs, or consider pipe and drape until about 1-3 weeks before the day; the market lights over the dance floor stopped working a few months before our wedding, and we weren't told, but luckily our DJ had extra uplighting). Everything worked out, but could have been avoided with clearer communication.

I still highly recommend this venue!!
