Amazinggggggg

I don’t even know where to begin. We booked Grand Plaza about a year and a half out from our wedding. We live in Pittsburgh but always wanted to get married on the beach. I am OBSESSED with palm trees so the minute we visited Grand Plaza I knew we had to get married there. When we booked with grand plaza, our wedding coordinator was Amanda. Shortly after that, I was assigned a new coordinator. Unfortunately shortly after that I was assigned yet ANOTHER coordinator, Jacqueline Phillips, and it was like it was meant to be! I was beyond stressed out to have had three coordinators and Jacqueline was AMAZINGGGGG. She reassured me right away that everything was still going to be perfect and everything would be taken care of. She answered all of my questions ALWAYS, no matter the time of day. She worked countless hours to make sure our wedding was as perfect as I envisioned it. Our wedding day was the most magical day of our life and I really don’t think it would have been as awesome without Jacqueline’s involvement in our planning. Jacqueline- thank you SOOOOO much for everything you did for Kenny and I. We really are so appreciative of your kindness and accommodations. My dad has COPD and she made sure he was ok during the ceremony. Just sooo thoughtful and caring. 💜💜💜💜💜

Grand Plaza is one of the most gorgeous places I have ever seen. The staff all around is so amazing. Location is amazing and the beach is absolutely breathtaking.

omg i love them i am still planning but they are all so sweet amanda and tatyana are the best and always going out there way to make sure I'm not stressed or feeling overwhelmed with the planning and the price is great as well they included everything but the pictures and dress.. thanks

You cannot compare this hotel to other beach hotels in the area - this is one of a kind. From the beautiful venue to the top notice wedding coordinator (we had Amanda) - it was as stress free as planning a wedding can be and I can truly say I had the wedding of my dreams!

My fiancé and I worked with Tatyana and she was fabulous. The venue was great and our families had an amazing time and stay at the hotel. We HIGHLY recommend this location for ceremony, reception and stay. Tatyana was very professional and was a great joy to work with. My finance and I feel in love with this location the moment we stepped on the gorgeous beach and saw the view from the presidential ballroom. No other place compares to the view (there is no bad angles in the ballroom) and price. I was so nervous to even start the planning process, but after meeting and talking with Amanda it put my mind at ease and I knew I was in good hands with the Grand Plaza. Every and any questions so far have been answered promptly. I can not wait to get married at the Grand Plaza!

My wedding is in 2 weeks and I'm super excited to be getting married here. The ceremony site is absolutely perfect. The reception rooms are pretty amazing too. They are also reasonably priced. Amy in catering and events has also been amazing to work with. She has answered any questions that I've had and has went above and beyond to help.

All of the staff at the Grand Plaza were great! They were super friendly and informative. The wedding planners helped my wedding run very smoothly, especially since I was planning it from out of state. They were a great venue, and the beach site was gorgeous! The food at the reception was also fabulous. I'd highly recommend the mahi mahi and filet mignon. Our experience overall was fabulous, and I'd definitely stay at this hotel again.

The Grand Plaza Hotel was an amazing location for our beach wedding. The set up they have for weddings is beautiful. My coordinator was Tatyana and she was professional and prompt in answering all my emails with questions. We used the imperial ballroom for the reception and it was beautiful. The only thing there was a miscommunication about was a side dish at the buffet but everything else went as planned. I would recommend this venue!

We booked the Grand Plaza Imperial Ballroom and south ceremony site for our wedding on 5/1/2015. We worked with Katie Shepard, who was amazing and attentive! I worked with Katie for almost two years reserving the date and working on details! All the vendors she recommended our taste and style were SPOT ON! The Grand Plaza is a gorgeous beach side hotel that mixes the fun of a destination wedding with the style of a glamorous boutique hotel! I loved that it wasn't "cheesy" beachy! The staff at the reception was so kind and focused on detail and making sure the guests were happy. I didn't have ONE COMPLAINT about bad/slow service from the rehearsal to through the entire weekend!!! Katie and the Grand Plaza team handled everything for set up! During the wedding day I had a stress level of ZERO because she coordinated my ceremony decorations, my cocktail hour and reception set up AND coordinated all the family/friends/bridal party accordingly! I didn't have to think or stress out or worry that she was going to miss one beat!!! Also, at the Grand Plaza you don't have to worry about renting linens, chairs, a dance floor or any other extras other venues may not provide! They are the one-stop-shop to create your dream wedding vision! Don't forget about the glamour room! I rented it for the afternoon of the wedding day - it girly, fun, and large enough for everyone to get ready! We loved having our big day at the Grand Plaza and partying the whole weekend at the beach!

My experience with this vendor was great. The staff was very friendly, food was amazing. My guests loved the food,the drinks and our reception room.we were in the presidential ballroom which had a beautiful view of the ocean!

Book with The Grand Plaza Hotel! I was in a debate between The Grand Plaza and another hotel for my destination beach wedding, and I would have made a huge mistake going with the other hotel. The Grand Plaza was the most perfect choice. The food was delicious, the venue itself was breath taking, the service was phenomenal, and the coordinator, Tatyana, was perfect. The wedding ceremony was on the beach and we chose the arch bamboo. It was beautiful. The reception was in the Presidential Ballroom on the penthouse floor. Wow! This room could not have been more perfect! We had 50 guests that fit at ease. We had a balloon backdrop for pictures, all of the tables were placed exactly where I wanted, and the view was unreal. It was picture perfect. The mirrors on the backside of the room were great for some wedding shots! I loved every part of The Grand Plaza Hotel! My wedding was beautiful, classic, unforgettable, and exactly that I always imagined. Thank you, The Grand Plaza Hotel.

The Grand Plaza was the perfect venue for our wedding. The food was exceptional, and the service was impecabble. We could not have been happier with the personal attention we received leading up to and especially the day of the wedding. Our entire family and all of our friends stayed at the hotel and were blown away by the views, the hospitality and service. We highly recommend this locale for your ceremony or special event.

The Grand Plaza was my dream place to have our wedding. The staff was amazing , they made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Tatyana Adams was our wedding coordinator and I can't even describe how thankful I am for her. She helped me so much the months leading up to our wedding. With her and the staff of the grand plaza our big day was one that we nor our guest will ever forget. Most of our guests even suggested that we all come back for our one year anniversary. I had a fabulous wedding at the Grand Plaza Hotel. My family and friends (many of whom flew in from other parts of the country) LOVED it. Katie Shepherd was our coordinator and I just don't have enough nice things to say about Katie. She is so fabulous. She takes care of all of the details and makes sure that a stressed bride can feel at ease.
Everyone at the Grand Plaza was awesome and treated our guests well and made sure that everyone was having a great time. They, especially Katie, recommend amazing vendors who just make sure that your wedding runs like clock work. Everything went seamless. My only complaint is that it all went by so quickly! ;)

Grand Plaza was the perfect venue for our wedding. We had the ceremony on the north beach and reception in the presidential ballroom. Family and friends kept talking about how beautiful the ceremony and reception views were all night. Tatyana was our coordinator and she was very responsive to all our emails / requests. The day of our wedding there were FIVE other weddings and that had no effect on how ours ran whatsoever. Everything went smooth and couldn't have imagined a better venue.

We had to plan our wedding while my wife was out of the country, so we wanted to go with a venue that knew how to run things. Grand Plaza knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to weddings. If you do decide on this venue, make sure to book your rooms at the hotel fast before they run out. Only thing I regret is not warning family earlier because all the rooms were booked leaving some family members to stay at other hotels.

About 30 of our friends and family chose to stay at the grand plaza for our wedding, which was off site. My husband and I rented the penthouse. We were treated so well, as were our guests. There are many examples, but one to highlight: the night before the wedding we had a small gathering in the penthouse. When we realized we didn't have a wine key, the front desk sent someone up with one, who then proceeded to open all our wine for us. It was a wonderful touch. The entire stay was amazing.

We recently had our wedding at the Grand Plaza in St Pete. This place is beautiful! Katie was our wedding coordinator and I can not say enough about her. She responded quickly to all of my e mail questions. She was so helpful and professional. The day of the wedding everything was very organized. I had changed my mind at the last minute about the arch on the beach and they were very accommodating. The wedding was beautiful! Lots of guest told me it was the nicest wedding they had been to. I owe it all to the grand plaza and katie :-)

Perfect spot for a Beach Wedding! Great ceremony site set up and amazing view from the Presidential Ballroom! The view was jaw dropping and the food was excellent! The service from everyone involved was impressive! A big thanks to Katie for helping us plan the perfect wedding! A big shout out to Barb, the bartender, Chad, my "I can do anything" man, and Sonia, the housekeeper. I also recommend renting out the penthouses!

I booked The Grand plaza almost a year in advance. Gloria was my coordinator! She was the best! It rained o the day of my wedding but they still worked quickly to get the reception hall all set up!
My husband and I are picky eaters, and they make sure we were happy with the food. Also went above and beyond to make sure all allergies that my guests had were avoided, and if they couldn't be avoided they make note of it so my guest could avoid.
We chose to use the fish bowls they provided and add out own decorations to them. They brought the bowls to my room the day before so we could start preparing them!
Best Venue ever!!!!

We had our beach wedding at the Grand Plaza. Our wedding coordinator, Tatyana was simply awesome. She responded to our email and every question a nervous bride could ask. She is delightful and always positive. I would recommend asking for her if you are planning to get married in this beautiful place. She made the whole wedding day run so smooth. Thats what you need on your wedding day, a person you can count on.

We got married at the Grand Plaza hotel on 5.31.14. I had such a beautiful wedding. Their beach ceremony site, and the ballroom is beautiful. ALL my guests cant stop talking about how GORGEOUS my wedding was and how much fun they had at the hotel. The staff there is beyond incredible, especially my wedding coordinator Tatyana Adams. LOVE HER!! My fiancee and I stayed in their penthouse for the weekend of our wedding, and i got to see them set up for my wedding reception at the Presidential Ballroom the night before and the ladies were so wonderful and the place looked AMAZING. I wish i can do it all over again!! I had the best wedding in the world, thanks Grand PLaza!!

Katie Shepherd is the wedding coordinator I got for our wedding at the Grand Plaza this past weekend (5/31/14) and I am so glad we had the wedding here! It is such a beautiful location and if you get Katie as your coordinator you will not be disappointed. She is the most knowledgeable, professional, most responsive person you could deal with while going through the stress of wedding planning, absolutely amazing! Our food at the wedding was amazing as well, we had a buffet and me and my husband had two of the women working our wedding that got our plates for us, I thought that was very nice and it was unexpected. St. Pete Beach is a wonderful location to get married at, and this is the hotel to do it with!

The day before my wedding we had to make last minute changes to the ceremony site, and they went out of their way. The day of the wedding everything was perfect. It was an awesome experience, and one I will never forget. All of our guests loved our bartender, and the food and service. Our guests loved the view!

Our Coordinator Tatyana was great. She helped keep me calm at a stressful time. I demanded a lot from her and made several last minute changes and at no time did she deny my requests. The food at the Grand Plaza is wonderful and all the staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend you use this location not just because of the natural beauty of the beach front but because you will have the most amazing time.

Working with Gloria at the Grand Plaza was a dream come true! Her professionalism, ability to guide me through the planning process and ability to answer my questions was far better than I expected. The little details that I had no clue how to handle (beach wheelchairs, water for my guests, etc) she had a contact point for and assisted in getting it finalized. She far surpassed what I expected her to do - truly a great person!

We had the most amazing wedding experience with the Grand Plaza Hotel. We were immediately in love with the atmosphere, and the wedding consultants were extremely helpful right from the beginning. We booked our wedding a year in advance, and I would frequently be kept updated and in contact with. Amy was our consultant and she was absoultely amazing! She was so easy to work with, and so sweet. She made sure that every little need or want I had as the bride was taken care of. The day before my wedding we had to make some last minute changes to the ceremony site, and they went out of their way to make sure it happened. The day of the wedding everything looked perfect, and went off without a hitch. It was an amazing experience, and one I will never forget. All of our guests loved Barb our bartender, and the food and service was exceptional. Our guests loved the presidential ballroom as much as we did. An absoulte great place to get married!

We couldn't have been happier with our choice to hold our wedding ceremony and reception at the Grand Plaza! We primarily dealt with Tatyana and she was AMAZING! So sweet and personable, super responsive, always found a way to answer our questions and did her absolute best to accommodate any requests! We had so many compliments from our guests on our food as well, we selected the Grand Buffet package and everything was delicious! The staff was incredibly attentive and the bartenders friendly and on top of their game! Everyone had a great time and our wedding turned out beautiful. We loved the Grand Plaza and hope to make it our new favorite St. Pete Beach hotel destination!

Our wedding at the Grand Plaza on April 5, 2014 was absolutely perfect! The venue was so beautiful, the food was absolutely wonderful and staff members were fantastic! Our Catering Sales Manager at the venue was Katie Shepherd and there truly aren't words to describe how wonderful she was to work with. She was one of the main reasons our wedding was so amazing. We were so impressed with her professionalism, responsiveness and constant cheerful attitude. I highly recommend the Grand Plaza for anyone wishing to have a picture perfect Florida beach wedding!!! They made our dream wedding come true!

The Grand Plaza was the perfect setting since we had several out-of-state guests. We had the rehearsal dinner, ceremony & reception all on-site. Tatyana Adams was my coordinator and made everything so easy!! I'm not familiar with the St. Pete Beach area, so was thankful the Grand Plaza provides a recommended vendor list - which is how I found my makeup/hair artist, DJ and photographer.I can't say enough about the venue. All of my guests LOVED the food (we did the buffet), the location, the Imperial Ballroom, the hotel itself, the rehearsal dinner, etc. Everything was perfect for our special day.

We planned our wedding in Florida from Boston. We did not see the venue in person until the day before the wedding. Everything was absolutely amazing. Gloria Zak was our wedding coordinator and was so helpful and responsive. When we met her for the first time, it felt like we were meeting an old friend. The Imperial Ballroom is gorgeous, and Gloria set it up perfectly to fit the band, slow motion video booth, and large enough dance floor for our 90 energetic guests. Everyone keeps telling us it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to! We choose the buffet option, and people are still talking about the food. My husband keeps saying he wishes he had eaten more potatoes. The bartenders and waitstaff were so helpful and kind. We couldn't get over the price for the food as it included a 4 hour open bar. They also include a night in a penthouse; it has stunning views. Make sure to order breakfast in bed the next day. Thank you Gloria for helping us make such a special day so memorable!

The grand plaza hotel was a beautiful place to get married! The staff was wonderful to work with! They allowed us to go in ahead of time and make adjustments to insure that our venue was exactly what we wanted! The outside setup is amazing and beautiful! The perfect location for a beach wedding! They also work with several vendors to make your wedding planning simple, and hassle free!

WOW! They did AWESOME! Above and beyond any expectations. My guests couldn’t get over how accommodating the staff was. Gloria was my wedding planner and she was wonderful. She answered all of my questions timely and was so helpful. The reception was set up perfectly and the entire affair couldn’t have been more beautiful. The staff their work so well together it really was like being in a movie. I wouldn’t change a thing!

We stayed here on the night of my wedding. We used the app Hotels Tonight to find a good deal on a place to stay, and they were right on the beach. When we got there, the lady at the front desk, Michelle, was really sweet and upgraded our room to one with an ocean view. It was a really nice room, with a great view, and we got to go to the beach in the morning!

My wedding was more perfect than what I pictured in my head all my life. My wedding coordinator, Katie, was the biggest help. Without her, it wouldn't have been possible! She really made my dreams come true! I got married on the south beach aisle and the reception was held in the Imperial Ballroom. Although it rained while I was walking down the aisle, it didn't even bother me one bit!!! I told my husband I wish we could get married there every week! :) I will definitely be returning to Grand Plaza for weekend stays in the future!!! THANK YOU KATIE!!!

We had an amazing wedding at the Grand Plaza! I will never forget that special day and our beautiful beach wedding. Our wedding coordinator, Gloria, was very helpful and organized and I would highly recommend her if you are going with the Grand Plaza!

I have read several other reviews on the Grand Plaza which is why we chose to get married there. I don't know what I can say that's different from the other rave reviews, except use this place if you're considering it at all! Our day went off without a hitch, and we never had to worry about anything! Gloria is amazing, and helped us with everything from where to eat crab legs to helping us pick out linen colors. Our day was perfect thanks to the Grand Plaza!

The staff at the Grand Plaza are fabulous. They carry out every detail! The organization by the wedding coordinators is impeccable. They know what questions to ask and are there to answer your own questions. And on the day of the wedding, they make sure that every thing goes smoothly. Our wedding coordinator was Jen and if I could give 10 stars I would!

our food was amazing we chose the buffet and it was HOT and so good! Most buffets get cold our was PERFECT!! The wait staff served us as bride and groom as well as the Nanny to our flower girls and ring bearer making it easy for her to keep attentive to the children. LOVE the food and our tasting last year was a great portrayal of what we were getting on our wedding day! They made it extra special by having the tasting in spinners so we could have a gorgeous view while eating!!

I had the wedding of my dreams at the Grand Plaza on Friday, April 5, 2013. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue!! Katie, our coordinator, was absolutely incredible. This venue is a great value, and the view is stunning.

We searched a long time to find the perfect venue to have our wedding, but as soon as we walked into the Presidential Ballroom of the Grand Plaza we knew we'd found our spot. Everything was perfect. We worked with Jen at the hotel and she was a pleasure. Any time we had a question she was quick to respond and made sure we were always in the loop. She was there to walk us through the rehearsal the night before the wedding and was there the day of the make sure everything went smoothly. The room was gorgeous and set up just as we requested. The beach ceremony site was a dream come true.

Grand Plaza also handled all the food outside of the cake and it was delicious. We had a buffet and everything was cooked to perfection. Everyone stuffed themselves and raved about the food. The Grand Plaza made sure that we had the perfect wedding and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

My wedding at grand plaza was more than I could have hoped for. Our wedding coordinator Gloria Zak was phenomenal. She worked with us every step of the way, with every detail. Nothing was overlooked. The outside beachfront ceremony was absolutely everything I dreamed it would be. Our reception in the presidential ballroom was beautiful. Bartender and food servers were excellent. Hotel staff and service were great as well. I would definitely recommend this venue to any couple wanting a beautiful beach wedding. It will be the wedding of your dreams just like it was for my husband and I.

My husband and I got married at GP December 2012. We looked at several places on the beach but I was not easily impressed. We spoke with Katie and felt really good about getting great value and a capable coordinator. For our ceremony, GP supplied our chairs and an arch. They also supplied our food and drinks and some decor. We planned our wedding from out of town. Katie was very patient and quick to reply to all of our many many emails. Our close family did our tasting for us. We met with Katie the day before the wedding and finalized plans. I appreciated that she was organized and ran through everything with us. I supplied some of the linens and decor . Not only did they make sure everything was pressed, but the decor was set up just to perfection. On the day of, all of the staff were very attentive. I got ready in a gulf-facing hotel room. I could see the rolling waves as I got my hair and makeup done. Katie had the timing down perfectly so my husband and I did not see each other. She ensured that we maintained some privacy as we were on the open beach. As she assured us, the foot traffic to the hotel was temporarily blocked and the outside restaurant did not play music during our event. We had the Presidential Ballroom, which I highly recommend (we had 40 guests). Our guests enjoyed the sunset view while we took beach pictures. For dinner, two of the staff came over and invited us to start our buffet. They prepared our plates and brought drinks for us, ensuring we were able to sit and actually eat at our wedding. And the food was great! We used Cakes by Carolynn through the buffet package. At the end of the night, we remembered that our favors were still in my brothers trunk. The staff was very helpful in getting these out quickly and even put aside my decor neatly for my family to take back, afterwards. Some guests went up for a night cap in the lounge. GP has it down to a science. An unforgettable wedding thanks to a very beautiful venue and wonderful staff!

The Grand Plaza makes it So easy to have a beautiful and stress free wedding. We checked out so many other venues on the beach and NONE could even come close. The Grand Plaza has a beautiful setup on the beach and the view from the Ballroom is spectacular! Our daughter's wedding was AMAZING thanks to our coordinator CHERISH and her recommendations. We live in Texas and she set up meetings with the vendors on our first planning visit each one greated us like friends and made the planning simple. We were SO PLEASED with EVERYONE! Our other vendors were, Photographers: Wes & Liz Weber WEBER PHOTOGRAPHY, Florist: Desirae, BEACH BLOOMZ @ The Grand Plaza , Cake by Desiree, CHANTILLY CAKES, Music EXPERT PRODUCTIONS Joe Lorenzo on Steel Drums, Josh was our DJ, Pam our videographer plus the uplighting and the hit at the reception the PHOTO BOOTH! It was the perfect wedding... and I'm certain you will have a perfect wedding too if you choose the Grand Plaza!

I can't say enough great things about our wedding experience at the Grand Plaza. Everyone and everything was wonderful. It is very obvious they have their process down pat. Cherish was our coordinator and she was fabulous to work with. She was always very helpful, responsive and accommodating. We live in the area so we were able to meet with her several times throughout the planning process. When the big day arrived, they had everything under control so we were able to enjoy ourselves and didn’t have to worry about a thing. Everyone was so nice and took excellent care of us. Cherish, Katie and the rest of the team did a great job with orchestrating the ceremony. The reception was in the Imperial Ballroom . Lloyd was our bartender and he did a fantastic job, as did Bill, our banquet manager, and everyone on his team. All the guests raved about the delicious food. We are so happy we chose the Grand Plaza for our wedding.

I was more than pleased with the hotel's services. Our wedding was a destination wedding, so all of our guests traveled to Florida. Almost all of the rooms were ready early so that the guests could check in early. The staff was all very friendly and attentive to the guests' needs. Most staff members knew my guests’ first names by the time we all left.

The hotel coordinator I used, Katie Shepherd, was amazing! She was very responsive and organized. She was so friendly and down to earth. She made sure that she gave us her undivided attention each time we met. While I was at the hotel for our wedding, I saw her in action on a normal day and realized that she is non-stop with appointments. I never would have known with how attentive she was when working with me. I absolutely loved working with her!

We had the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception all at the Grand Plaza and I wouldn't have changed a thing. Everything flowed very smoothly and the food at the rehearsal and reception was great. The hotel also had a beach bar where you could listen to music and get some drinks and food. This was very convenient since most guests did not have cars.

I was extremely pleased with the hotel and all of the staff that I had the pleasure to work with.

Jen was our wedding coordinator and she was excellent, she covered everything we could want, or need. She was available at any time through phone, email, or visit. After we were married we went and ate dinner. After dinner we were able to go relax @ the Grand Plaza Hotel Tiki bar listening to live entertainment while we enjoyed free Sunset shooters. The Staff was all very inviting and friendly. Prompt service. We also stayed a few nights this hotel was beautiful. Clean, guest were friendly as well as staff. Top Notch service!

I had my vow renewal here in the Presidential Suite...the view was amazing!!! My guests are still talking about the view. I would recommend this location to anyone wanting a beach wedding. The venue is beautiful, the beach is beautiful and it just cannot be beat. The value is great as practically everything is included...the venue, the food, tables/chairs/linens, center pieces, the ceremony site, plus a indoor ballroom for your ceremony if it should rain. Of course there are extras, such as arches, ceremony chairs, chair bows, but available for a minimal price. What I loved the most was that everything was at one location, they took great care of my guests, and provided a personal wedding coordinator to help you with every detail!

The ceremony was at Pass-a-Grille beach, but our reception was at the Grand Plaza. Everything was excellent: the food was delicious, the room was spectacular, and the wait staff did a great job.

We had a minor set-up glitch regarding plants, and we did not see our coordinator during the evening, but the overall event went well. All the guests commented on the excellent food and setting, and that what's counts.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the Grand Plaza was to work with! Our wedding coordinator, Katie, was beyond amazing. I am so thankful that she was our coordinator because she truly went above and beyond to help us. Anytime I or my fiance had a question or concern, Katie would get back with us within one day.

The Grand Plaza may look older than some of the other hotels in the area, but when it comes to weddings they seriously have it down to a science. Everything was like clockwork and they knew the exact times/places that people needed to be to ensure a smooth ceremony. Our ceremony was at night (7:30pm) so we needed tiki torches to help with lighting. We were only given a handful first but as soon as we requested more, they were brought right to us.

The reception was held in the downstairs ballroom which was perfect for our size wedding (100 people). The bartenders were so nice and cheery and the waitstaff was always refilling water and clearing dishes very efficiently. When the ceremony was over, they cleared/cleaned up everything in a blink of an eye. One of the reasons that my fiance and I loved the ballroom was because we were allowed to decorate it however we wanted. Most places will not let you do this.

We loved the Grand Plaza and it will always have a special place in our heart. If you are concerned with the cost of having it at the GP, just know that it's worth the money. They know how to do weddings and it was seriously worth every penny.

Overall, the Grand Plaza was great! Tatyana was my wedding coordinator and she was fantastic. She always was quick to respond to emails with questions and never told us no when we wanted to do something! When it got close to the wedding, she was even willing to set up all of our decorations and table settings and all of the outside signs and stuff that we brought as well! I have nothing but good things to say about Tatyana.

I have two minor negative things to say about my experience with the Grand Plaza. The first thing is that they advertise themselves as an all inclusive wedding venue where you don't have to pay for minor details like linens and stuff for the tables. Having to pay for each chair on the beach and each chair in the reception when we spent so much on everything else just got a little annoying. Also, $200 to rent their bamboo arch is just outrageous and they wouldn't let us bring our own. Overall, I still believe it was a good value but including those two things (even if it meant increasing the per person on the food/beverage price by a couple dollars) would have left me with a more positive feeling.

The other negative thing is the hotel itself. The wedding side of the hotel was fantastic but I had numerous issues with the hotel staff. First, there was an issue with me checking in early--they tried to tell me I'd have to sit around and wait all day on the day of the rehearsal until a room was cleaned because they couldn't tell me in advance when it was going to be ready. One person called a week ahead asking to check in at 3 instead of 4 since the rehearsal began at 4 and they told her oh sorry you should have booked for Thursday also if you wanted to get in early. Then they refused to clean our room during the wedding because it was past the time they normally clean! Not a reason not to have your wedding there, but something to talk to your coordinator about before the week of the wedding to avoid stress and to warn your guests!!

I cannot wait to get married at the Grand Plaza. It is my dream venue. The wedding coordinator, Tatyana, is always friendly and helpful. It is a very popular venue and she was even able to accommodate a date change for our wedding. I was amazed. The ballrooms are gorgeous and the beachfront ceremony with aisles of palmtrees is perfect.

The Grand Plaza was a beautiful venue for my wedding. Gloria Zak did a great job organizing everything. Everyone loved the food. The only complaint I have is that there isn't much help cleaning up your stuff after the wedding so make sure you assign family members or bridal party to pack all your stuff up for you.

Tatyana was very helpful and attentive to our needs from start to finish. It was a little unnerving when storm clouds formed, however, we worked through it with just a slight drizzle and the clouds cleared just in time for the ceremony at the seaside! :) The reception hall looked beautiful and Tatyana and catering staff made such everything run smoothly. I highly recommend this resort for your wedding ceremony and reception, you will not be disappointed! :)

Grand plaza was a great place to have a beautiful beach ceremony and indoor reception! We wanted a formal wedding despite having the ceremony on the beach and they helped make it just that. Tatyana was our coordinator and she was wonderful in keeping everything on time. We also wanted something very specific regarding the timing with the wedding party walking down the aisle and she executed it perfectly. The catering was awesome. Everyone commented that the food was delicious. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue. We had our ceremony on the beach, cocktail hour on the deck and reception in the imperial room. We even had enough energy after the wedding to join some friends and family at Bongos beach bar! No one had to drive anywhere and many people stayed an extra night because it was so beautiful here. Thank you Grand Plaza for helping make our wedding that much more perfect!

We had our dream wedding at the Grand Plaza. Every detail turned out exactly as we planned. We were married on the beach and had our reception in their penthouse level ballroom overlooking the beach. It was beautiful. Gloria, was our coordinator and she ensured my vision came to life and every detail was well-organized. Over the course of planning, she answered my millions of questions in a professional and timely manner. All of the food at the Grand Plaza was delicious as well. In addition to our wedding, we held the rehearsal dinner on the deck of Bongo's. The food was great, the service was great and our guests enjoyed an evening on the beach. We live locally, but are from the north, so many of our guests traveled. They all had a good experience staying at the hotel as well. We worked with Gloria Zak for our wedding and reception in the Presidential Ballroom. She was always very quick to respond to our inquiries; even on her days off. The venue was exactly as we discussed for the wedding day. The wedding planning staff, who worked as a team on the day of the wedding, made sure all of our vendors showed up and were accounted for and got everyone to the ceremony on time. The food was delicious, even better than at our tasting. The serving staff was awesome; very gracious and helpful. They always made sure we got what we needed. I definitely recommend this venue for your special day!

The Grand Plaza had exceptional food and Service. Tatyana was a blessing to work with. The venue's guest rooms are definitely dated, but the views, the pristine beach, and the dinner far outweighed any concerns about the dated decor. Every employee was helpful and professional from the Bell hop to the cleaning staff to the bartender. If you choose a non-peak day of the week, it's still a bargain for the unbeatable backdrop to your special day.

The grand Plaza was an amazing venue to have our wedding. The hotel and staff made us feel welcome and at home during the duration of our stay there. They recommended great vendors to us as well that we were very happy with. The service during our reception from the hotel staff made us feel like royalty. It is a beautiful venue, perfect for that Florida beach wedding. Every guest we had said it was one of the best and most beautiful weddings they had been to. We tend to agree:)

The Grand Plaza's Imperial Ballroom was an amazing location for my wedding reception. Jen Koerlin was AMAZING. She always replied to my calls and emails almost immediately. Her answer to all of my requests was "yes, we can do that for you." She alleviated all my bridal fears. My guests thought the location and food were great. The bartenders were fun and lively. The servers made sure my husband and I had "to go" boxes to take with us that night since we barely had time to eat. Highly recommend!

I loved my wedding!!! Katie was awesome, the view was amazing!! While the rooms there are somewhat dated, the experience was amazing. I had my ceremony on the north beach and wedding reception in the penthouse suite, during the sunset. Everything was timed perfectly, the light was perfect during my photos and during my first dance the sun was setting in the background over the water! I really couldn't have imagined it any better. I gave the quality of service a slight ding because a reception lost some of my wedding favors, luckily they located them but it was after my reception had started and the favors had to be placed during the ceremony. Otherwise everything was perfect. We have gotten so many compliments on everything.

Great views at this venue but make sure you read the contract carefully. Good view and friendly service!

Overall we had a good experience working with the Grand Plaza Hotel for our wedding. We really enjoyed working with Cherish and she answered our emails quickly and thoroughly. She was fun and made sure everything ran smoothly on our big day. I didn't have to worry about anything. Our only complaint is that they space the weddings too close together. There was a wedding after ours and someone from the Grand Plaza came over to our ceremony site while we were doing our formal pictures with our photographer and rudely told us that we had to leave. We didn't get hardly any time in front of the arch that we paid $150 to rent and the flowers that we paid to have displayed on the arch. The other wedding was on the other side so I don't know what the big deal was that we were out taking pictures. This caused us to not get all of the formal pictures with our family and with my husband that we would've wanted. We had to go in front of the Sirata to do the rest of our group photos and when we came back they didn't want to let us back in even though our reception had started upstairs in the Presidential Ballroom. Finally my photographer just decided she didn't care and led us back into the hotel behind the other wedding. The reception was lovely and the food was good. All of our guests had a great time and commented on how beautiful the room was. I would still recommend this vendor to a friend based off of the quality and affordability. Not to mention they set everything up and you don't have to worry about a thing. However, be warned that you will get kicked off of your wedding site most likely before you are ready unless they start spacing a little further apart.

Grand plaza was a beautiful venue but they seem to show you all the glitz and glamour and then hit you with ridiculous fees for something so simple when everything is said and done. If we hadn't already put so much money down for the deposit, we probably would have gone somewhere else where more things were included like a room for the bridal party to get ready in...

The wedding itself was amazing. The food was great, the wait staff was AMAZING and the event itself was a dream come true. But in the course of the year planning I was assigned (to no fault of my own) 3 different wedding coordinators. I had to re-do my wedding plans/details twice and ultimately wasn't given what I was promised by the 1st or 2nd coordinator. Grand Plaza did upgrade my bar at no additional cost for my trouble after having switched my coordinator the first time since they couldn't accommodate what was previously promised. Every time, I only found out after emailing my coordinator that they were no longer with the company. I was 30 days out and my coordinator changed AGAIN. I literally met my coordinator the day of the wedding rehearsal. Said coordinator harassed me about 1 stinking seating arrangement the day of my wedding. Then an hour or 2 before MY wedding, another bride decided to switch which ceremony site she wanted to get married in (to MY ceremony site that I paid extra for the bamboo arch), and caused my entire wedding to be delayed. My florist/decorator couldn't set up in time and my guests had to wait in the lobby until it was done. I didn't know any of this until after the fact (thanks to my florist/Decorator and step in day of coordinator) who got everyone straight. Moral of my story.. I'm not saying DONT get married at Grand Plaza, but I will say hiring your own day of coordinator is a MUST. Mine was Diana Scafoglio Ducharme with Petals Presents and Parties and she literally saved the day.

oh and no they don't give you a discount on rooms no matter how much you spend on a wedding. I stayed at the Don Cesar Beach House Suites (much nicer rooms) for less than what they quoted me!
