When I first met Grace, I knew without a shadow of a doubt that I had found the perfect person for my bridal hair and make-up. I knew immediately that she was incredibly professional by her quick responses and helpfulness (not to mention her gorgeous website!), but I also could tell she was exceedingly kind. I felt welcomed, seen, and heard throughout my trial and the countdown to my wedding day. She assembled the perfect team for my bridesmaids and mom and each and every one of us felt beautiful, comfortable, and important when we sat in their chairs. Not only did a find someone who is passionate about their work, but I also found a trustworthy person and friend. Grace made all of my bridal dreams come true and I am so thankful for her and her brilliance! -

Grace and her team did makeup for my wedding, and it was a wonderful experience! She was always super professional, responded quickly to my emails, and always showed up promptly and ready to go. She did my makeup for my engagement shoot, as well as a bridal hair trial, and incorporated feedback from both of those into my wedding day look. It turned out absolutely perfect! I felt like a beautiful bride, and the look held up all day with no oily patches or smudging, no issues with my T-zone, no mascara bleeding, no creasing...a masterpiece! My updo was exactly what I wanted, and Grace made sure it stayed put all day and looked super intricate + like I had way more hair than I actually do! It looks amazing in photographs as well. I highly recommend Grace and her team!! -

Stunning hair and makeup
Grace did my hair and makeup for engagement pictures, bridal portraits and my wedding day. Each session was great and she listened to my preferences and delivered a beautiful look every time. Scheduling and logistics were always easy and Grace helped plan the schedule for H&MU for myself and bridesmaids on the day of. Her team of assistants was also great and accommodated our large group easily. Highly recommend for dependable service and beautiful work -

Grace Jansen and Kayla Clodfelter made me and my bridesmaid feel so beautiful on my wedding day! Grace took the time to check in with every individual when they got into her makeup chair to explore their daily makeup routine and explore what look they wanted. I had decided to change my makeup look on the day of, and Grace was able to pivot and make me feel amazing. I have known other brides who had Grace as a makeup artist for their wedding and absolutely loved her work. Whether you are looking for airbrush makeup, traditional makeup, glam, or natural makeup, Grace can do it all!! Grace is such a kind soul, and any bride would be lucky to have her a part of your big day!!
Kayla is an amazing match with her talent and kind heart. I have always dreamed of an old Hollywood-themed wedding, and Kayla helped me achieve the look with the most glamorous Hollywood waves. Kayla helped me pick out and order my hair extensions for the day and even went out of her way to give me tips on how to get my hair healthy before my wedding day.

Grace was amazing to work with! Me and my two bridesmaids all have very different personal style, and she managed to make us into a cohesive unit while keeping some of our personal flair (providing our own lipstick helped a lot). I told Grace the look I was going for was vintage, and when she was finished I looked like a 1940's Hollywood star!
Personally, I don't even wear makeup day to day, so I was worried about wearing a full face of makeup. The products she used were high quality and weightless. I forgot I was wearing makeup several times, including the inevitable "I forgot I'm wearing makeup so I'll just wipe my eyes..." There were a ton of tears throughout the evening (ceremony, toasts, first dance, etc) and there was zero streaking. I didn't have to touch up at all. The pictures here all took place after the ceremony (the most crying from everyone), but we all looked the exact same at the end of the night too.
Grace is really sweet, she does amazing work, and she really helped me feel like the most beautiful bride in the world. Thank you. -

Grace is probably the sweetest human being to have ever walked this earth. When we did our trial she made sure she knew EXACTLY what i wanted and asked several times throughout the process if i liked it before continuing. The day of she and her hair partner spent ~6+ hours with me and my girls making sure our makeup and makeup was 100% perfect by our standards and even did touch ups before we headed out. Without her amazing talents, I wouldn't have looked nearly as amazing as I did. She gave me the princess look I always dreamed of having. -

Grace did my hair and make up for engagement pictures and she was fantastic! Not only did she do a great job on both and make me feel absolutely beautiful but she is also a super nice and sweet person. She is easy to chat with and relaxing to be around - which is exactly what you need for wedding day and/or engagement photos. I would have loved to have her for my wedding day, but she was already booked. (I at least wanted her magic for engagement photos!)

I couldn’t say enough about how amazing Grace is. Not only did she make me feel beyond beautiful for my wedding day but she made me feel confident and comfortable. She was so kind and so thoughtful about what I wanted as a bride. She really went above and beyond what I ever expected during this crazy time in the world (aka covid-19). You need to stop looking for someone to do your hair and makeup and go ahead and message Grace if she is available because you will not regret it! I am so happy that I found Grace as my hair and makeup artist for our wedding day! She is extremely talented at what she does. She made me, my mom, my mother-in-law, and my bridal party feel natural and beautiful. She is the kindest, most sincere person you will ever meet. Grace traveled on site with her assistant to our venue. All of us girls were beyond happy with our hair and makeup. My mom and mother-in-law had never had they makeup done before and were a little nervous. Afterwards, they looked in the mirror and said they felt glamorous. Grace is amazing!! Book her right away for your wedding and you will be so glad that you did!! -

Super talented, Super Sweet
For starters, Grace is such a sweet woman. She makes sitting in a chair with her close up doing makeup so comfortable and fun! Her work is amazing too. She does the full glam look, the natural look, the glowing look - all of it!! She makes everything she does look so easy and so beautiful! She and her assistant worked through 13 makeups on my wedding day. It was definitely a mad dash (because of the time frame to take pictures) but she and her assistant got it done so perfectly with smiles on their faces the whole time. Definitely hire Grace if you're looking for a talented, professional, and kind beauty artist! -

Best beauty choice!
Grace is hands down the very best! She was so sweet and easy to work with throughout my trial run and my wedding day. My make up was flawless and I had the most compliments on my hair on my wedding day than I’ve ever had in my entire life so far! She was able to do 7 bridesmaid updos and then my hair and make up in a crunches schedule and everything looked perfect! Grace was super accommodating because my venue had some strict rules as far as what time we were allotted and she was super flexible for us to get everything done in time! She was wonderful! -

Grace did a hair and makeup trial for me & my mom, my bridal portraits and hair and makeup for me, my mom, mother in law and 4 bridesmaids on my wedding day. She is such a joy to work with (and so sweet and professional)!
Each time, I felt absolutely gorgeous. She really did amazing work on all of us. I really appreciated that she listened to what I wanted and gave kind direction to my bridesmaids and mother in law who had never had their hair and makeup done.
She was so easy to work with and flexible - she worked around my schedule for my trial and bridal portraits.
She even stayed late on our wedding day to do last minute touch-ups and to put my veil on after I had put on my dress (which was an hour later than she was supposed to be there).
I truly am grateful that she was there (and Kayla, who helped her on our wedding day) to make us all feel gorgeous and to help everything go smoothly. I would highly recommend her for whatever you need leading up to and on your wedding day!! -

In a word, Grace is wonderful!
Grace’s professionalism and talent astounded me. She was punctual, talented, honest, and just a wonderful person. Her mom, Tiffany, assists her from time to time and the pair’s presence truly is calming and positive.
Grace has a chill spirit, which is an important quality for your wedding day. She “grace-fully” scheduled my trial and wedding day just 5 months from the wedding. Other vendors made me feel guilty for not having scheduled my hair and make up yet. When I found Grace, I was relieved! Grace was also flexible when some of my wedding party added additional services at the last minute. I was still ready on time. Here’s the deal: I didn’t know how I wanted my hair. Grace knew what would look great and hold well and she chose well! She honored my wishes to not use too much hairspray but just enough to hold the half-up do without falling out and without being crunchy. Thanks Grace!

Grace did a fantastic job with hair and makeup for my wedding! She did the hair for all of my bridesmaids and she did my mother's hair and makeup. The updos were gorgeous and they all looked stunning for the wedding! I was very indecisive about the updo I wanted for my wedding day. I did a trial run with Grace and changed my mind shortly before the wedding. Grace was super responsive and happy to accommodate my changes. My hair and makeup turned out exactly the way I wanted. Grace is so sweet and so much fun to work with. I would 100% recommend her to anyone I know! -

Can’t say enough good things!
have had my makeup done a few times by professional artists, so I had high expectations going into this. Let me tell you, Grace did a PHENOMENAL job and blew me away! From my trial to my wedding day, she was so sweet, on-time, and really listened to my concerns and was very responsive to emails and texts. After my trial, I told her I wanted to do a more beachy-wave style for my wedding day and she did an AMAZING JOB! Just what I wanted - I didn't even need touchups. My wedding was in 90 degree heat outdoors and my hair and makeup lasted all day without any help! She even helped some of my bridesmaids with individual lashes when their own strip lashes didn't work. She really went above and beyond and I'm so thankful I found her! -

I'm so glad that I selected Grace Jansen Beauty to do the makeup and hair for my bridal party and me on my wedding day! I have only had my makeup done professionally one other time and I have never had false lashes, so I was a little nervous about looking overdone or not like myself. But Grace did such a perfect job, she paid attention to what look I wanted and made me feel so completely glamorous while still feeling like I looked like myself. I felt like a million bucks on my wedding day and you can't ask for anything more than that! All my bridesmaids and the women in my family looked stunning as well. -

Amazing experience
Grace was the last vendor I needed to find for my wedding. I was struggling to find someone who was talented but also fun and kind. Grace agreed to meet with me without hesitation. I like to get to know the people that I am working with. She was incredibly flexible when there was a last minute change to the schedule. She listened to everything that was important to me, which was a "natural look" on my big day. She did hair and make up for 3 of us total, and we all came out beautiful. She was so easy to work with, I couldn't have imagined it going any better. If you want someone who is talented, sweet, and easy to be around, she's your gal. I would call her again in a heartbeat. -

-Bridal Trial prior to the wedding - She did 2 for me since I wasn't sure what I wanted - one evening look and one natural look (which ended up being my preference) .

-Highlight- Really appreciated her advice. For example, when I suggested straightening my curls she steered my otherwise. She recommended styles that would be most flattering (and lasting) and even sent some photos as ideas. the end product was perfect. -

Grace is an incredible makeup artist! We had six updos and three traditional makeup applications and everyone was beyond thrilled with how beautiful Grace's work was. I typically do not wear a lot of makeup and I really wanted to look as natural as possible. Grace hit the mark perfectly not only with me, but with my entire bridal party. Grace is relaxed and sweet, which really helped me stay calm throughout the day. I was so impressed with her professionalism and sticking with the schedule so we had enough time for touch-ups and to get into our dresses. I would absolutely work with Grace again and plan to recommend her to anyone looking! -

Grace was absolutely amazing. She did my hair and makeup and my MOH and another friend's. All of us were very happy with the services. I looked great, and my hair was absolutely amazing. She is very pleasant so it was great to have her there. I was also very happy with the fact that she used good makeup brands on me. Not everyone does that and I think it's absolutely important.
I totally recommend her especially for wedding hair and makeup. -

Grace is AMAZING. I did a trial with Grace where I showed her photos of how I wanted my hair and makeup done and she copied it perfectly....then a few days later I decided I wanted to completely change the look for my wedding and she did the second look perfectly as well. Everyone's makeup looked extremely natural- but like the best version of ourselves. Grace even got engaged the night before my wedding and didn't tell me until I asked how her boyfriend was because she didn't want the day to be about her!! She is SO sweet and does an amazing job. Book Grace ASAP. You will NOT be disappointed!!! She will make you look beautiful, but still like you!!! -

Grace did a PHENOMINAL job as the hair and makeup artist at my wedding. Her and her team (her mom Stephanie) are the perfect duo for making their clients feel relaxed and at ease. I was obviously nervous but they made me feel beautiful. They were also incredibly flexible - the power went out at our wedding venue so we had to move locations and they were awesome enough to accompany us back to the venue to make sure I got all those last minute touches. Grace is incredibly talented and will only improve from here. 12/10, would recommend. -
Sarah Sent on 10/09/2018You guys, Grace is AMAZING!! I was supposed to get married during Hurricane Florence in Wilmington, NC but had to move my wedding at the very last minute to Winston-Salem. I reached out to Grace (with much desperation) and to my shock we wrote me back offering to help within minutes! I had several bridesmaids who needed services and she was able to accommodate everyone! She came onsite to my location and was an absolute doll to work with! She listened to what everyone wanted, studied the pictures, and showed us how things were progressing along the way in case we wanted to change anything (we didn’t! She’s that good). Her work is quality and you won’t be disappointed! I’d recommend and use Grace again and again!
