Incredible Work on Bridal Hair/Make Up and Wedding Party Hair and Make Up

Erica and her team, Mayra and Stephanie, were incredible to work with on our wedding day. From start to finish, Erica was professional, punctual, and wonderful throughout the entire process.

She always answered my questions quickly, provided a fantastic trial, and made everything feel seamless leading up to the wedding. On the wedding day, the team arrived on time and did an amazing job with all of the girls’ hair and makeup. We finished right on time. Erica created a schedule and it was so helpful for the day to run smoothly.

Everyone looked and felt beautiful, and I truly could not thank Erica, Mayra, and Stephanie enough for everything they did to make our day so special. We highly recommend them to any future bride looking for a talented and reliable beauty team!

Erica and Stephanie are great to work with. Erica worked with me several times to find the right hairstyle for my dress. The makeup looks she did for my bridesmaids and myself were beautiful. Great service overall!

I initially booked Gorgeous Locks and Makeup as Erica was local to where the wedding party was getting ready in Sterling, VA and she seemed to by far offer the most cost effective services. I am so glad that I went with her for our special day! From the very beginning, Erica was responsive and so communicative. Her pricing was very transparent up front but she was also very flexible when I asked to add make up services later on for additional family members. Erica has a home studio where my mom and I did our hair and make up trial. She then had a team of three come on site to our air bnb to help us get ready. We had a total of 11 people having their hair and make up done and I was impressed that Erica and her team were able to complete everyone between 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Most other vendors I looked into were quoting start times at 7 a.m. so I definitely appreciated the extra time to sleep in on my wedding day! Thank you Erica for all of your help and making getting ready for my wedding a breeze!

I can't express how happy my bridesmaids and I were with Erica and Mayra. They made us look so beautiful and were incredibly fun during the entire process. Run dont walk toward Erica at Gorgeous Locks and Makeup

I chose Erica out of a lot of different vendors I inquired with as my hair and makeup vendor because I loved her natural looking portfolio and boy was I glad I chose her. From signing the contract, to scheduling the trial, and wedding day, Erica was so easy and fun to work with. When I showed Erica my inspirations at my trial, she immediately understood what I wanted and she did a great job bringing my vision to life. She was very accommodating and flexible on my wedding day when I wanted to my make up and hair slightly differently and boy did she understand the changes I wanted and brought my vision to life. Her team Mayra and Stephanie also did a great job with my bridal party. Everyone was very happy with their looks. They showed up on time and were so efficient that we were done ahead of schedule, which helped our photographer stay on schedule. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup all night from all our guests. And most importantly, Erica made me feel so pretty and happy with my look all night especially in front of the cameras. Her amazing job shined through all our photos from our wedding. 10/10 recommend Erica if you are a bride looking for an easy to work with, understanding, and talented vendor.

Beautiful and long lasting

Working with Erica was wonderful! I used GLAM for my June 2024 wedding and Erica was delightful! I don't wear a ton of makeup so the trial run was super helpful to talk about options for the wedding day and ensure an stress-free experience. Day of, Erica and her partner for the day were on time and stayed on schedule! Our hair and makeup looked beautiful and stayed great all day (even with some wind and lots of happy tears) and they were experienced with a variety of hair types and styles. Erica was a great presence too while getting ready and was easy to spend a couple of hours with me and all the bridesmaids.

Erica did an AMAZING job with my wedding hair & makeup. She also did my mom, mother in law, and bridesmaid. SO happy I chose GLAM

I am so glad that I chose Erica to do my hair & makeup on my wedding day. Definitely worth it!

I am pretty confident with hair and makeup so I wasn’t initially thinking this was necessary. I am so glad I had Erica do my hair and makeup for my wedding, though. My makeup lasted through several tears. My hair held up beautifully. Erica was a pleasure to work with and really helped me calm down and feel better when I hadn’t slept well and had a migraine. It really helped me get off on a better foot that morning. My mom had her hair done and it looked incredible! She loved it.

Incredible experience with Erica!

I have nothing but praise for Erica and Gorgeous Locks and Makeup. From the start, Erica was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable, leaning on years of wedding industry experience to make recommendations about everything from getting ready timing to hair and makeup styles to providing insights on the venue. From the hair and makeup trial (which I did with Erica ~11 months before the wedding) to communicating timing/planning and styles pre-wedding to the day-of, Erica not only made things simple, but fun. Especially as someone who is not well-versed in hair and makeup, Erica helped advise on style decisions and made everything very straightforward. Particularly in the hours before the ceremony, Erica played such a special role in putting everyone at ease and making sure everyone felt their best. I so enjoyed working with Erica that I have continued to go to her for my regular haircuts post-wedding for the last year. I cannot recommend Erica and Gorgeous Locks and Makeup enough!

Amazing wedding day experience!

Erica and Veronica are incredible!! I did a hair and makeup trial with Erica before the wedding and she kindly let me try out multiple styles in one sitting, to try and figure out my look for the big day. She was so flexible and 100 percent about what I wanted. On the actual wedding day, Erica and Veronica were a dream to work with. They were ahead of schedule the entire day and the whole getting ready experience was so relaxed, fun, and stress free. They are true professionals and made everyone in my bridal party look and feel amazing! They listen carefully to what you want and they seriously make magic happen. I will probably never see my hair look that good ever again and truly was wowed by what Erica could do, and in such little time too! She is efficient, has great attention to detail, and she cared about how I felt. She was so flexible throughout the whole process -- she changed the schedule multiple times because of some changes with the bridal party and was very nice about it. She also used hair pins I brought to wedding day that I hadn't used in the trial and said that was no problem at all! She was beyond easy to work with and I could not recommend her more! Beyond her professionalism and talents, she is so fun to be around for your wedding day! Veronica is a wizard with makeup and my whole bridal party was raving about her as well. Dream team!!! Beautiful hairstyles!

Erica and her team did hair for my wedding on March 19 and they were fabulous! I did a hair trial with Erica in June. A months before the wedding, I completely changed the hairstyle that I wanted without doing another trial, and Erica was still able to nail the hairstyle perfectly! My hair is very long and thick and it managed to stay in tact the whole night so I was very happy about that. They finished way earlier than expected so they were able to do any last minute touch ups towards the end. My bridesmaids and moms’ hairstyles came out gorgeous too and it looks beautiful in pictures!

Highly recommend over and over again!

Erika was amazing from day 1 with communication and making sure that she met every need to make my day even more special. I was a covid bride and got married in a small ceremony in 2020 and then the big celebration in 2021. She was beyond willing to edit the contract and even do my hair for 2020! Don’t think about it, just book it.

I found Erica through Wedding Wire, then naturally stalked the Instagram account to see even more pictures. Her pictures don’t do her work justice. My MOH and I called Erica to see if she’s be the right fit for us because we knew she’d be spending most of the day with us and our friends. We knew from that phone call that she would be the perfect fit for us. Erica and her staff did an absolutely amazing job on hair and make up. She made everyone feel comfortable and confident. It really was like having one of our friends in the room with us doing our hair and make up. I could recommend GLAM and Erica anymore! 10/10

Gorgeous Hair

I can not put into words what a GREAT JOB Stephanie and Ericka did with my wedding party’s hair! Usually at most weddings guests would notice the bride’s wedding dress BUT our guests couldn’t stop talking ABOUT OUR HAIR! Erica is awesome!

I initially booked Erica for my September 2020 wedding but we were overly optimistic and ended up rescheduling twice. Erica was very responsive and sweet throughout the whole process. Unfortunately, Erica was already booked for our final date. I would still highly recommend her. I really loved the hair and makeup trial. I was pretty indecisive about my look but Erica was able to work with the little instruction I gave her and gave me a look I loved and used for my engagement shoot.

I knew as soon as I did my trial with Erica that she was exactly who I wanted for my wedding. She was so kind, patient and responsive throughout the whole process, even when we had to postpone our wedding and made a million schedule changes. Amazing Hair and Makeup Artist (and Team)!

Erica was the first and only hair and makeup vendor that I met with! GLAM is so reasonably priced, and Erica (and her team) are so talented! Plus Erica has an AMAZING personality, and is so fun to be around! I was a little stressed on the day of while we were getting ready, and Erica put me to ease once it was my turn to sit with her! I don’t wear a lot of makeup normally, and she did a great job of making me feel “done up” in a natural way. She was also super flexible- I got interrupted twice during my hair and makeup, my mom went missing for a bit, and my sister got her makeup done last minute! She was so cool, calm, and collected and moved through everyone without any issues. We all loved our hair and makeup, and it lasted all day beautifully! I was so sad to see her leave when she was finished, I would have loved for her to stay all day!!

You'll know she's the one for you the second you meet her

You MUST go with GLAM! Erica is the hair & makeup stylist every bride needs on her wedding day. She is fabulous at making the bride feel comfortable and calm while providing impeccable service. During the initial trial, I wasn't completely sure what I wanted and Erica would not finish until I was 100% satisfied with the look. I even added a few little changes to my hairstyle after the trial and she adapted flawlessly, giving me the look of my dreams! I loved my hair and makeup and I am still getting compliments on it to this day! I even made a last-minute decision to book my mom with Erica and she made it happen. Erica is so talented and her personality is so loveable, you will know for sure she's your gal the second you meet her!

The most comfortable & fun getting ready experience!

Erica and her team are the absolute best! She was so friendly, fun, and super patient. I decided to change my hairstyle within a month of my wedding, and she fit me in for a second trial right away. They showed up on time the morning of the wedding and kept all of us on schedule to make it to photos. Everyone looked and felt beautiful, and our hair and makeup lasted through all of the crying and dancing. I would definitely work with Erica again.

Beautiful hair & makeup at a great value!

From our initial interactions, I was impressed by Erica's friendly and responsive communications, and the reasonableness of her pricing. When Covid hit and I had to relocate/downsize my wedding, Erica was flexible in allowing me to change my contract at no extra fee, which was so appreciated! On the day of, she arrived promptly on time with another stylist, and added so much fun energy to our getting ready time!! All of my bridesmaids loved her. What stands out the most to me about Erica is how much she listens to the vision and needs of the person whose hair and makeup she is doing. She was able to get my mom, who has never worn makeup in her life, to happily put on makeup, and was laughing the whole time with her... truly a remarkable feat! As the bride, I was so thrilled with how my hair and makeup turned out, exactly how I wanted, as were my bridesmaids. I would recommend GLAM to anyone getting married in the DMV area!

Wonderful addition to my wedding day!

Erica was a joy to work with! She was extremely responsive to my questions and has such a fun personality that instantly made me feel comfortable from the first time I met her. Erica was able to change her schedule to do my hair and makeup for my bridal shower, and then traveled to Bluemont for my wedding. I showed her one picture and she was able to instantly recreate the exact look I was going for. On the day of my wedding, Erica brought another stylist who made the getting ready process so efficient (Thank you Veronica!!). Erica was even flexible for day-of changes to make sure everyone was included. She was able to complete 7 updos, 2 makeups, and 1 MOB blowout in record time, but we never felt rushed. It also was convenient to be able to pay through Venmo. Thank you so much again for being apart of my day! I will continue to recommend Erica to all of my friends :)

Just say yes!

I LOVED working with Erica and her team. She developed a schedule to get all of us (me and 12 other women) ready for photos by 11am, which meant we had to start at 6am that day. And they were early! Their system worked flawlessly, and they were even able to add two other people to the list who I had originally forgotten. Everyone looked so beautiful and I will recommend this team to anyone I know who's getting married.

Erica was beyond FANTASTIC. This is delayed but she did my hair and makeup for my wedding in 2018 as well as the hair for everybody in my wedding party. Despite not meeting my goal weight (classic) I felt absolutely gorgeous. My hair looked like mermaid hair and I received countless comments on how flawless it looked. She also did an amazing job keeping my makeup very natural looking while still making my eyes pop. The hair/makeup trial was also so much fun. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Wonderful experience with Erica for my wedding!!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Erica and her team. Erica is so nice and relaxed. She was also flexible to every little change that came up. My whole wedding party loved their makeup and hair. And my hair did not move an inch! At the end of the night, it still looked perfect. Erica was so easy to work with from start to finish. I had my hair and makeup trial and knew to go with her right away! Erica and her assistant had to deal with some rambunctious bridesmaids/flower girls in our hotel room getting ready and was so fun and easy to talk to the whole day. Perfect Experience!

I heard about Gorgeous Locks & Makeup (GLAM) through a friend of a friend. At first I was hesitant to reach out at first due to the lack of reviews. I am glad I went with my gut instinct and reached out to Erica. She is personable, bubbly, friendly, helpful, & attentive. After meeting her at my hair and makeup trial I knew she is a vendor who is passionate about her job and the exact person I wanted and was excited to work with on my wedding day. On the day of the wedding, the GLAM team arrived early and they finished my 11 person bridal party on time (or maybe even early). Even on the hottest day of the year, everyone's hair and makeup was gorgeous and stayed in place for over 12 hours. Erica is amazing and an expert in her craft. If I ever need my hair or makeup professionally done again I would work with her in a heartbeat!

Erica was amazing! Great Hair, Great Makeup, Great People!

I'm thrilled that I decided to go with GLAM for hair and makeup on our wedding day. Erica and her team were amazing! When my mom and I went for a trial at her house, we left feeling absolutely certain that we wanted to book them for the wedding day. Erica was personable, funny, professional, and so good at her job. When we signed the contract, Erica sent a detailed schedule with times and names, so everyone in the bridal party knew the schedule ahead of time. On the wedding day, Erica and her assistant showed up on time with everything that they needed, including their own light! They helped add such a fun vibe to the bridal suite, and all of my bridesmaids were so happy with their hair and makeup. Erica did the makeup of my grandmother-in-law, and began by asking her specifics about everything that she was comfortable with which was great and helpful. GLAM's prices are also incredibly reasonable for the DC area, and after doing a lot of research I would definitely say that with them you get the most for your money. If you're looking for a great hair and makeup artist for your big day, definitely go with GLAM!

Amazing experience!

Erika and her team at GLAM are amazing! My wedding was the third wedding I’ve been to or been apart of that she has done the hair and makeup for, and she did a beautiful job each time. I contacted her only 4 months out from my wedding day, and made multiple changes to my services in the last two months leading up to it, and Erika was incredibly flexible and willing to work with me.
She and her assistant Veronica were prompt for my early-morning wedding day, and did a BEAUTIFUL job on everyone! My makeup and hair lasted all day, from my 11am ceremony to the after party late into the night. Erica was so easy and fun to work with for my wedding! She was so accommodating and attentive during our trial, and she was flexible as my ideas changed all the way up until the day of. I was planning this wedding from across the country so a lot of the time I had to make split second decisions and force vendors to work with my schedule during the short stints I was in Virginia and trying to get a million things done. I sent her a few photos of what I was thinking and she nailed it during the trial which was like 30 min tops..she is amazing and fast! Then on the day of, she knocked out myself and 4 bridesmaids, they all looked amazing, and then sat around and waited for my flower girl because she was so quick I had miscalculated the timing. You need to hire Erica, plain and simple. She was absolutely amazing through the entire process! I initially reached out to her nearly a year before my wedding and we agreed on a hair and makeup trial about 8 months out. I really wanted to be sure I liked the work that my hair and makeup artist did which was why I searched so early. Well my search was quickly over the minute I found Erica. She's personable, friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable, and is amazing at doing hair and makeup. I ended up having two trials before my wedding and then couldn't decide on a hair style. The morning of the wedding we walked in and I said "Erica, I'm doing half up/half down and if I try to change my mind I'm giving you permission to tell me no." Erica is an amazing hair and makeup artist! After contacting more than a dozen people requiring crazy high minimums, I came across Erica on WW and arranged for a trial session. I brought my two bridesmaids with me and we were immediately put at ease meeting and getting to know her as she worked on me. She listened to what I wanted and I couldn’t believe how quickly she put together my look. She works super fast, but that doesn’t mean she is sloppy - far from it, she really put together a flawless look that I just loved! We tried a couple hair styles and I honestly loved them both, I had a hard time deciding! I also got to try false eyelashes, which were a must have once I saw the results! Her prices are very reasonable and I was able to pay for my bridesmaids and flower girl as well, which I really wanted to do.

On my wedding day, Erica and her assistant (who is her mom and so sweet - she even helped me wrap the ribbon around my DIY bouquet!) came on time and set everything up promptly. Just like the trial, they worked so efficiently that we were ahead of schedule and had extra time to relax. Erica was also flexible with one of my bridesmaids that has super sensitive skin - using products that my BM brought and applying them beautifully. Erica made all of us look and feel amazing and everyone said I looked gorgeous (not just to my face, but I heard it in the background chatter all day!). Everything held up all night, including during the rainy ceremony and crazy dance party!

Only after the wedding did I find out that it was Erica’s birthday on my wedding day and she graciously decided to work that day. I am so grateful that she did this because I can’t imagine looking any other way than how I looked on my wedding day! Not only is she a talented professional, but a truly wonderful person! I keep looking at my calendar to figure out what other events I have this year so that I can hopefully work with her again. Thank you, Erica! You're the best!

I was incredibly lucky to be referred to Erica for my wedding hair. My hair was absolute perfection, completely in line with my vision. What I wanted was a partial updo, volume, clip-in extensions (that I would supply) for added length, and some nice curls for the part of my hair that was down. The style I wanted wasn't particularly popular or trendy for brides but it was what I wanted. Erica completely delivered and went above my expectations in not only her styling abilities but her amazing work ethic and super-friendly attitude. She is an absolute Goddess of creating volume - and she doesn't need any extensions to do that. Truly - she is the best I have seen in the business. Plus, she was very helpful in giving me tips on what extensions to buy to use for length. And unlike the other stylists I spoke with prior to booking her, she did not charge a ridiculously high fee for "placing" my clip-ins. In fact, her overall price was significantly lower than that of many other stylists. She also styled my mom's hair on the day of the wedding and my mom looked absolutely beautiful. After my pleasant experience with her, I've been seeing her regularly now for cuts and color too. She is extremely knowledgeable about hair, talented, and friendly and I am so happy she was available to style my hair. I highly, highly recommend Erica.

Erica is wonderful and I can't believe I found her on a sorority message board. She brought an assistant with her and was able to curl and style hair, and put on makeup well before we needed to start getting dressed. I've been in a lot of weddings and this was probably the easiest bridesmaid pampering I've been a part of.

Outside of doing all of our hair and makeup, Erica does house calls for her regular hair appointments. It's so much easier than going to a salon or dealing with intimidating staffers. I've had her over about 3 times this year and will continue to get my hair done in the comfort of my own home.

Erica was very professional, flexible, and affordable! I met with her for a trial and was very pleased with her work. She and her assistant Kira managed to do hair and makeup for 8 bridesmaids, my mom, mother-in-law (makeup only), and me in about five hours. They came to us, worked very efficiently, and were even ahead of schedule. They even adjusted the schedule on the day of to accommodate an additional service. I highly recommend her services to brides in the northern Virginia area! She was absolutely great!

Erika is THE BEST!!! Had a super last minute cancellation from previous vendor who gave a BS reason and I was in freak out mode. I reached out to Erika and she immediately responded, provided a break down of her pricing, and was ready to go. Not only did she accommodate everything last minute but she made me look and feel like a princess. She also arrived on time and did everything (both hair and make up) with ease. LOVE her and definitely recommend her for your occasion.

Erica is not only am amazing stylist but an effervescent person! She did 2 trials for me ( several months apart) and she comes right to your home - totally flexible with hours and locations. She is a pixy of a person, but a wonderful with hair. All of my bridesmaids absolutely loved her work - she is awesome. highly highly recommend!

I am so glad that I found Erica and her team to do mine and my bridesmaids hair and makeup for my wedding! Erica has a great personality and really makes the whole experience so exciting! She did such a fantastic job with everyone's hair and makeup and she was able to take style requests at the time of the styling and then create exactly what everyone wanted! She did both hair and makeup for myself, and four bridesmaids all within 4 hours! I was amazed with how quickly she worked and how flawless everyone looked! Erica is absolutely amazing in every aspect when it comes to your hair and makeup needs for your wedding day. I had quite a large amount of people for Erica to do both hair and makeup for the day of my wedding and they needed to be done by 2PM at the latest. Erica stayed right on schedule, was very patient with some of my more picky bridesmaids and did everything she could to make sure everyone was 100% happy with their hair and makeup. Everyone's makeup looked natural and elegant and all of our hair looked absolutely flawless. It was a really hot day and even by the end of the night all of our hair and makeup looked just as it did when we first finished getting it done. Many guests complimented myself and my bridesmaids and wanted her information immediately. She responds almost immediately, is so friendly and is truly passionate about what she does and that's why I highly recommend her!

Erica is a gem! She is the nicest person and an amazing H&M artist. I was so worried about getting everyone ready on time with 11 people but she and her team did a great job. They were there at 7 a.m. and got us all done in less than 6 hours. She was always responsive to my emails and very flexible. I got a ton of compliments on my Hair and Makeup the day of my wedding. My bridesmaids also loved their looks and hope to work with her once they get married. Thank you so much Erica for everything!!! Book her you won't regret it!

Erica did my hair and makeup as part of a large wedding party in September. From the start, she was professional and had great energy. She started everyone's hair/makeup early morning and stayed until we were all ready late afternoon. Erica took the time to do unique and personalized hairstyles and makeup for each of the 8 bridesmaids, MOB, and Bride, taking into account everyone's preferences and style. She enhanced the prep time before the wedding and made it a fun and laid back atmosphere. I couldn't be happier with my hair and makeup and would recommend her services to anyone!

Erica was such a joy to work with! Getting married on New Year's Eve made for a fun and memorable day ...and a "sporty" time getting ready. With the ceremony at 8p and first look pictures at 4p, before the sun set, Erica worked her magic and, in just six hours, made everyone (six bridesmaids, mother of the bride, grandmother of the groom, and me) ready for pictures, laughs and tears through the ceremony, and a celebration that went into the early morning! In the months leading up to the wedding, Erica reached out to each of my bridesmaids to get to know them and their preferences, both hair and makeup, for the day. We also did a hair and makeup trial, and being a gal who just wears mascara, Erica's talents helped me to feel comfortable and beautiful ...even with the fake eyelashes! Erica's professionalism, organization and expertise helped to make the day run smoothly and helped to bring out each of our unique, individual beauty. She is extremely talented and has an eye for "glam" ...and I couldn't imagine having anyone else be a part of my big day!

It was great to work with Erica to do hair for my 4 bridesmaids. She was flexible about what I wanted (half up, soft curls, pinned), and the style held up all night, even for my matron of honor who has stick straight hair and whose hair can normally not hold a curl! Her work made for perfect pictures, and it was also great that she came out to us (in the snow!) so we could get ready in the dressing room. Would highly recommend her!!

Erica did a great job with my hair and makeup for my special day. I looked and felt fabulous and received tons of compliments. She was very flexible when I asked her (very last minute) to do the hair and makeup for my mother as well. She is the sweetest and she kept me calm and relaxed throughout. Prior to this event, Erica did my hair and makeup for my engagement photo-shoot. She made me look flawless and the makeup photographed beautifully. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a hair stylist or makeup artist for weddings or any special events because she’s a gem. Erica is the best!! She and her assistant did my hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaids (there were 8!) and my Mom. I was worried about timing and not feeling rushed, but Erica was a pro! I felt so at ease and had so much fun! Erica even coordinated prior communication with the bridal party and gathered everyone's preferred styles so she had an idea going in. Everyone loved how gorgeous they looked and her prices are very reasonable...which is hard to come by in the DC area. I loved Erica so much I just had my first hair appointment and she cut/highlighted my hair and will continue to use her for any future special events! You can't go wrong with GLAM!

Highly recommend Erica and her team!

We hired Erica for my daughter’s wedding based on a friend’s recommendation. She had a large bridal party and Erica and her team were very easy to work with, responsive, and flexible. All the girls wanted different looks for their hair and make up, and were happy with the GLAM artists’ work. My daughter also did a hair and make up trial months before the wedding and Erica really listened to my daughter’s vision, but also made helpful recommendations. The bride was beautiful!

Erica is very talented and so much more affordable than many other hair and makeup vendors in the area. She is caring and nice to chat with, the kind of person you want to have around while getting ready for with your family/ friends. She also does haircuts and comes to your house! Erica and her team were phenomenal. She put together a detailed timeline for me, my bridesmaids, and the moms' hair and makeup which was really helpful with our day-of planning. She answered the many questions I had between booking her and my wedding date and was always helpful with suggestions. Everyone's hair and makeup stayed beautiful all day despite high winds during pictures and humidity (aka SWEAT) during our ceremony. It was so easy having her and her team come on-site to do our hair and makeup so that everyone could just get ready in one place! Lastly, Erica's pricing beat out every other beauty vendor I looked into by a long shot. She is worth every penny and more!

I was really excited to work with Erica and team for my upcoming wedding in May. She was referred by my wedding venue and I booked her hair & makeup services for myself, 3 bridesmaids and the mother-of-the-groom. I signed the contract back in October and asked if I could pay a deposit. She replied "no deposit is needed" and confirmed she received the signed contract. I reached out to her last week to schedule the trials and she wrote back saying she didn't write my name on her calendar and had accepted another contract for a different bride with the same wedding date. That bride already had her trial and paid a deposit. She took full responsibility for her mistake, but still abandoned me with 7 weeks left to my wedding. She offered to send her assistants for the same rate, which I find unacceptable. No other solutions were offered. If I had booked her services prior to the other bride, wouldn't it be professional for her to honor my contract? If you want a reliable hair stylist/MUA, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Trust me, this is not an issue you want to have to deal with last minute leading up to your wedding.
