Erica did an AMAZING job with my wedding hair & makeup. She also did my mom, mother in law, and bridesmaid. Everyone had such a lovely experience with her and she was so quick and helpful the entire morning she was there. She truly has a talent and she will 100% be my first call whenever I need glam for an event again. -

I am so glad that I chose Erica to do my hair & makeup on my wedding day. I originally was going to DIY it, as I dont often wear a lot of makeup, but decided to take one less stressor away from myself and it was the best decision. Erica made me feel so comfortable and was so flexible in scheduling the services. She really listened to what I wanted and I have never felt so beautiful. 10/10 recommend! -

I am pretty confident with hair and makeup so I wasn’t initially thinking this was necessary. I am so glad I had Erica do my hair and makeup for my wedding, though. My makeup lasted through several tears. My hair held up beautifully. Erica was a pleasure to work with and really helped me calm down and feel better when I hadn’t slept well and had a migraine. It really helped me get off on a better foot that morning. My mom had her hair done and it looked incredible! She loved it. -

Erica and her team did hair for my wedding on March 19 and they were fabulous! I did a hair trial with Erica in June. A months before the wedding, I completely changed the hairstyle that I wanted without doing another trial, and Erica was still able to nail the hairstyle perfectly! My hair is very long and thick and it managed to stay in tact the whole night so I was very happy about that. They finished way earlier than expected so they were able to do any last minute touch ups towards the end. My bridesmaids and moms’ hairstyles came out gorgeous too and it looks beautiful in pictures! -

Update: once again, Erica was amazing for our rescheduled wedding on 10-16-21. She and Veronica did wonderful work on me and my bridesmaids. Highly recommend!
Erica is amazing!! She was super flexible with us dealing with rescheduling our big wedding with the pandemic to next year and coming to help me get ready for our elopement this year. She’s super friendly, a joy to get my hair and makeup done with. Can’t wait to work with her again next year in October! -

I found Erica through Wedding Wire, then naturally stalked the Instagram account to see even more pictures. Her pictures don’t do her work justice. My MOH and I called Erica to see if she’s be the right fit for us because we knew she’d be spending most of the day with us and our friends. We knew from that phone call that she would be the perfect fit for us. Erica and her staff did an absolutely amazing job on hair and make up. She made everyone feel comfortable and confident. It really was like having one of our friends in the room with us doing our hair and make up. I could recommend GLAM and Erica anymore! 10/10 -

I can not put into words what a GREAT JOB Stephanie and Ericka did with my wedding party’s hair! Usually at most weddings guests would notice the bride’s wedding dress BUT our guests couldn’t stop talking ABOUT OUR HAIR! If you want to show out On your big day I Highly recommend reaching out to her and her staff!! I GOT COMPLIMENTS ALL NIGHT, even after the night was over my HAIR STILL LOOKED GREAT. ❤️ -

You'll know she's the one for you the second you meet her
You MUST go with GLAM! Erica is the hair & makeup stylist every bride needs on her wedding day. She is fabulous at making the bride feel comfortable and calm while providing impeccable service. During the initial trial, I wasn't completely sure what I wanted and Erica would not finish until I was 100% satisfied with the look. I even added a few little changes to my hairstyle after the trial and she adapted flawlessly, giving me the look of my dreams! I loved my hair and makeup and I am still getting compliments on it to this day! I even made a last-minute decision to book my mom with Erica and she made it happen. Erica is so talented and her personality is so loveable, you will know for sure she's your gal the second you meet her! -

Erica is by FAR the coolest and best value around. She is not outrageously priced like the majority of places around this area and yet she does a FANTASTIC job. I loved loved loved my hair and make up and it stayed all night long! My bridesmaids all loved theirs as well! Not to mention that she is SO nice and fun! Seriously just book her now! -

Amazing Hair and Makeup Artist (and Team)!
Erica was the first and only hair and makeup vendor that I met with! GLAM is so reasonably priced, and Erica (and her team) are so talented! Plus Erica has an AMAZING personality, and is so fun to be around! I was a little stressed on the day of while we were getting ready, and Erica put me to ease once it was my turn to sit with her! I don’t wear a lot of makeup normally, and she did a great job of making me feel “done up” in a natural way. She was also super flexible- I got interrupted twice during my hair and makeup, my mom went missing for a bit, and my sister got her makeup done last minute! She was so cool, calm, and collected and moved through everyone without any issues. We all loved our hair and makeup, and it lasted all day beautifully! I was so sad to see her leave when she was finished, I would have loved for her to stay all day!! -

From our initial interactions, I was impressed by Erica's friendly and responsive communications, and the reasonableness of her pricing. When Covid hit and I had to relocate/downsize my wedding, Erica was flexible in allowing me to change my contract at no extra fee, which was so appreciated! On the day of, she arrived promptly on time with another stylist, and added so much fun energy to our getting ready time!! All of my bridesmaids loved her. What stands out the most to me about Erica is how much she listens to the vision and needs of the person whose hair and makeup she is doing. She was able to get my mom, who has never worn makeup in her life, to happily put on makeup, and was laughing the whole time with her... truly a remarkable feat! As the bride, I was so thrilled with how my hair and makeup turned out, exactly how I wanted, as were my bridesmaids. I would recommend GLAM to anyone getting married in the DMV area! -

Highly recommend over and over again!
Erika was amazing from day 1 with communication and making sure that she met every need to make my day even more special. I was a covid bride and got married in a small ceremony in 2020 and then the big celebration in 2021. She was beyond willing to edit the contract and even do my hair for 2020! She brought two amazing hair/makeup professionals Stephanie and Mayr. They were amazing as well. I highly recommend this team for your big day! You will not be disappointed! -

Erica and her team are the absolute best! She was so friendly, fun, and super patient. I decided to change my hairstyle within a month of my wedding, and she fit me in for a second trial right away. They showed up on time the morning of the wedding and kept all of us on schedule to make it to photos. Everyone looked and felt beautiful, and our hair and makeup lasted through all of the crying and dancing. I would definitely work with Erica again. -

Erica was a joy to work with! She was extremely responsive to my questions and has such a fun personality that instantly made me feel comfortable from the first time I met her. Erica was able to change her schedule to do my hair and makeup for my bridal shower, and then traveled to Bluemont for my wedding. I showed her one picture and she was able to instantly recreate the exact look I was going for. She is extremely talented and can complete a wide variety of styles (check out her instagram! @gorgeouslocksandmakeup)
On the day of my wedding, Erica brought another stylist who made the getting ready process so efficient (Thank you Veronica!!). Erica was even flexible for day-of changes to make sure everyone was included. She was able to complete 7 updos, 2 makeups, and 1 MOB blowout in record time, but we never felt rushed. It also was convenient to be able to pay through Venmo. Thank you so much again for being apart of my day! I will continue to recommend Erica to all of my friends :) -
