If Kate and Fiona could be given more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat. Kate and Fiona are two of the most kind, special, considerate, thoughtful, creative, and wonderful people that we had the pleasure of meeting and working with during our wedding journey. My husband and I were married on October 1, 2025 and had hired Kate and Fiona for day-of coordination. To say that these two went above and beyond is such a vast understatement. Kate and Fiona were with us throughout the entire day (and for many hours leading up to the wedding) and were instrumental in making our wedding the beautiful occasion that it was. They seamlessly fixed the errors created by other vendors that we had hired (some major errors such as our rental coordinator only bringing 1/3rd of the candles we had rented and being unreachable throughout the day) to much smaller glitches such as a missing linen. Kate and Fiona laughed with us, cried with us, and celebrated with us. We are so blessed to have met these two, and hope to be lifelong acquaintances as they made us feel more like family than clients. If anyone is questioning whether it's worth it to have people like Kate and Fiona on their team for their wedding, the only thing I can say is that Kate and Fiona are worth so much more than I have words to say, and if you are lucky enough to have their help, you will be in the absolute best of hands. From the small details to the big picture, Kate and Fiona leave no matter untouched. My entire wedding party couldn't stop raving about how much they enjoyed their presence throughout the day. -

We worked with Fiona and Kate for our wedding and were thrilled with the outcome. They paid close attention to every detail throughout the entire process and made us feel comfortable during the planning. We had a relatively short time-frame for a very specific type of wedding and they absolutely were able to help us realize our vision. Their familiarity with local vendors and communicativeness made what we thought would be a difficult and arduous process, actually quite reasonable. Whether it was helping us maximize the value of our budget, providing suggestions for design when we were unsure, creating a “plan B” for inclement weather, or even just reminding us of deadlines, Fiona and Kate were constantly looking out for us and we never once felt that the success of the wedding was anything but assured. On the day, they meticulously ensured that everything we planned was set in motion perfectly. Thanks to their tremendous effort and passion, we were able to make our dreams come true. We really enjoyed working with them and have nothing but praise for their professionalism and friendliness. Kate and Fiona are some of the most genuine people in the world. The attention to detail and hard work to make our day so special was such a treat. The support leading up to the wedding and the best help through our entire wedding day made for the most flawless experience. The Gordon Duo helped us plan (partial planning) and host our wedding this summer and we couldn't have done it without them! From the very beginning, Kate and Fiona were professional, responsive, and easy to work with, and they made sure our wedding day was perfect! They were especially helpful on the wedding day and took all of the worries away from us so that we could simply enjoy our day. 10/10 would recommend them to Seattle couples looking for a wedding planner! -

The Gordon Duo was a godsend throughout our wedding planning process. Their expertise was invaluable, they supported all of our silly plans, and offered guidance when we needed it. My favorite thing was that when I experienced decision fatigue (I simply could not care what color the tablecloths were!) they stepped in to offer their thoughts, without stepping on any toes. They were impeccably organized and were always available when we needed something. They kept us on track without pushing too hard. I would recommend them to anyone I know planning a wedding! -

My husband and I are very busy and have highly stressful jobs, so when it came to wedding planning we knew we needed help. We contacted the Gordon Duo and from day 1 they were responsive, friendly, professional, and extremely competent. They made it clear that they were there to support us and would do whatever we needed. We went with their partial wedding planning and they had endless recommendations and plans for us. So many things about wedding planning are stressful, but they helped immensely.
If I could do it all over again the only thing I’d change is that I would’ve sprung for their full wedding planning instead of partial, as my work and personal life grew more intense than I expected. But even if you’re just think of a day-of coordinator or the full plan, I can’t recommend them highly enough. They were phenomenal 100% of the time.Gordon Duo Weddings's reply:

The Gordon Duo were wonderful. They were our wedding planners for our October wedding at Kiana Lodge. We had about 130 people. My husband and I can’t imagine having a wedding without them. We tried not using a wedding planner in the beginning, but it quickly became overwhelming. We then thankfully met with the Gordon Duo, Kate and Fiona. They asked us our vision, we fumbled out a pretty poor description, but they were able to interpret our inarticulation to create our fairytale wedding. They are very much about making your wedding tailored to your dream and budget. There were considerably more steps to a wedding that we didn’t know, but the Gordon Duo guided us through it all, which helped alleviate a lot of the stress. We had a lot of compliments about how beautiful and smooth the flow of our wedding was, and how it reflected us as a couple.
They helped narrow down the choices for venue, photographer, DJ ect, to professionals that they have had personal experience working with. This made the decision making much more manageable. The vendors they proposed to us were all spot on. I found that an awesome part of having a wedding it that you work with so many talented artists in the pacific northwest. That includes the Gordon Duo. Fun fact about them, they love to do artwork as a hobby. They can bring out the artistic flair to your event.
They unpacked all our decorations and made our wedding look magical, capturing the little details that made our event personal. It was very surprising to us how much they can get done in very little time. They seamlessly directed the flow of the day and allowed my husband and I to enjoy the day, and everything just seemed to magically flow around us. They also made the flow intuitive for the guests so they could easily transition from ceremony, cocktail, and reception. That seamless flow would 100 percent have not happened without the Gordon Duo. More importantly, their professionalism shone through when they can easily adjust to any changes and think on the spot of the solution. We are very grateful for them so we could just enjoy ourselves because like everyone will tell you: the day goes quickly. Because we had our full confidence with the Gordon Duo, we were able to be mentally and emotional present for our wedding day and experience all the love from our family and friends. Fiona and Kate were very knowledgeable about the process. They helped us every step of the way from timelines to budgeting to handling all of the vendors. On the day of, they handled overseeing all of the set up down to the last detail. Their decorating skills were great, everything looked absolutely beautiful. Would highly recommend them! Hiring Gordon Duo was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. They were absolutely fantastic!
Kate and Fiona were always in constant communication with me and answered all my questions with quick response. When ever I had a freak out of something I missed and needed to figure out they were always two steps ahead and handled it! You can really tell they love what they do and how much they care for their couples!
They played a huge part in making our wedding day so magical!

I can't say enough about these amazingly lovely ladies! To say they are professional, well experienced, patient, and extremely knowledgeable is a complete understatement. Their ability to get things done timely and efficiently is a real work of art. Every time I felt myself getting lost in all the chaos, a quick phone call to Gordo Duo always set me straight and got me back on track. I needed help with my destination wedding and needed someone who knew their way around not just the Seattle area but all the local vendors. From the flowers to our wedding venue, our pre wedding dinner venue, the hotel, every thing, every last little item, they oversaw it with such amazing attention to detail. They had wonderful suggestions and ideas for every aspect of my event. So grateful we found them. I can't imagine putting together my wedding without these 2 beautiful ladies. What was supposed to be a small destination wedding kept growing and growing but Kate & Fiona were always on point with every little change and ready every step of the way. Their caring and respectful approach shines thru in every detail. I highly recommend Gordon Duo.

We purchased the JOY package, and were so happy with how our wedding day went! There were so many things that the Gordon Duo handled for us. There are always going to be bumps in the road, but having both Kate + Fiona was amazing. Kate held down the fort at our reception getting everything ready, and Fiona helped us at the Church in making sure the ceremony was seamless. They worked so well with our other vendors but made sure everything went according to what WE wanted. A dream come true comes to reality
Where do I start? Fiona and Kate are truly one of a kind. I can’t put into words how amazing they work together to make sure your dreams become reality! Great communication, and I love that they really grasp on to little details and making sure everything is going smoothly and most importantly they care to make sure that it’s what you want and what makes you happy. Not only did we love them but everyone surrounding our party enjoyed their energy. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner. Don’t hesitate to book them, you will NOT regret it!

When starting wedding planning, we spoke with many friends and family members about the planning process. Almost everyone we spoke to had horror stories of something that went wrong on their day, something that was forgotten, etc. The biggest piece of advice/takeaway was to hire a planner or coordinator. We started researching and happened to find the Gordon Duo, and we're so so thankful we did. Kate and Fiona from day one were thoughtful, kind, communicative, and supportive. They really made sure our needs and priorities were met, and took care of all of the small details we couldn't manage (or wouldn't have thought of). In addition to months of help prior to our wedding, our big day could not have happened so flawlessly without them. They worked so well all day and night with each one of our vendors, guests, and family; and really made sure our priorities remained the focus throughout. Amazing, Wonderful, Kind
I could not have picked better wedding coordinators for my wedding. They saved my wedding day without involving me at all. If you are wavering between Kate & Fiona and anybody else, go with Kate & Fiona. They were so helpful and supportive throughout the planning process, keeping me on track and helping me plan our wedding. On the Rehearsal Dinner day: they were hype-women, problem-solvers, kept my bridal party in check, helped me to relax, and so much more. On the wedding day, they are solely responsible for how smoothly and beautiful my wedding was. Not only that, but all the problems on my wedding day were handled far before it reached my ears, if it ever did. My wedding day was beautiful, fun, exciting, and an absolute whirlwind. I cannot recommend Kate and Fiona enough! They are such a bubbly, fun and talented duo. Their professionalism was appreciated, their knowledge was apparent and their energy was contagious! They handled all of our vendors amazingly well, and when the band become a bit difficult they maintained their professionalism and kept their cool. They helped decorate during the day, and were able to extend my vision to the decor and our backyard which was our venue. They made what I hoped would be a great day, the best day ever. Truly the best!
Kate and Fiona were an absolute dream team and the perfect pair to have on board for our big day! They were incredible at anticipating needs we didn't even know we had and completely flexible about the oddities of our less-than-traditional wedding. The Gordon Duo jumped in to help with everything from cake cutting, to champagne pouring, to table set-up and decor. Their ability to spot a need and handle it made it possible for us to fully relax and enjoy our party. Hiring Kate and Fiona was the absolute best choice we made during our entire wedding planning process. We were on a limited budget and kept our wedding quite small, but they are the only vendor we truly couldn't have done it without (alongside our photographer, which they helped us find). They have such a sweet, warm presence and I trusted them to handle every detail so I could relax a bit more and enjoy our day. 12/10 Experience!!
Fiona and Kate were nothing short of AMAZING to work with. They were very easy to communicate with, which is super important to us. They also had ALL of the answers to our questions, and made us feel confident in any and all decisions we made. The day of our wedding, they showed up at our venue bright and early, equipped with an emergency kit that had everything we might need in it. They even drove somewhere to pick up our linens instead of waiting for delivery so that they could set our tables up earlier!! Speaking of tables, they set EVERYTHING up for us, and they took EVERYTHING down after the wedding. They made it SO easy for us to have the most stress-free, amazing, most memorable day we could have ever imagined.

Hiring Gordon Duo was one of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning process. Kate and Fiona were there from the beginning helping Camilo and I find and pick vendors, negotiate contracts, coordinate with other vendors and so much more which isn’t typical when you hire day of coordinators. They are very responsive by both text, email and phone calls to help with anything that came our way during wedding planning. They also checked in on us regularly. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is already stressful but they have so much knowledge in the wedding industry that the stressed was eased. We met them in person a few times before the wedding, to get the big picture on planning, organization and set up. They also came up with a wedding day timeline that was perfect for all of our special ceremonies to combine our culture. They were there during the rehearsal lining everyone up. They were also the first ones at the wedding site on our wedding day and helped with getting the reception area ready, and the last one to leave. Everything ran pretty smoothly on that day. We are very grateful for the help that we had from the Gordon Duo to plan our wedding. We had a wonderful time, above and beyond our expectations. The team of vendors that they helped us put together was fantastic. They were excellent day of for coordination and last minute fixes that came up. They were kind and responsive throughout the planning process. We would highly recommend working with them!
