We hosted our October 2021 wedding reception at the Goose Island Barrel House. We were blown away by the beauty of the space, the incredible facilities, and the exceptional service and support we received from everyone on the Goose Island team, especially Courtney. We planned our wedding in less than 7 months, and we could not have asked for a better experience or partnership in a venue. We saw many brewery-type venues in the Chicagoland area, and we can honestly say that not a single one came close to the Barrel House in terms of amenities, design, and customer service. They even had valet parking and lot security included in the rental fees, which was essential for our guests. Service throughout the reception was flawless. Many of our guests told us that the Barrel House was the best venue they had ever been to, and we heartily agree! We can't recommend the Barrel House enough. From touring the venue in March to the day of our wedding, we had a perfect experience. We are grateful to the Goose Island team for making our reception so spectacular and memorable for us and our guests.

So Special!!
We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception here and it was SO SPECIAL!! The staff was wonderful to work with, the banquet room is so beautiful and unique, guests were thrilled with the experience, and I know the photos are going to really showcase the spectacular decor! If you're looking for a wedding venue, look no further!!

Perfect Venue for our wedding!
Goose Island was the perfect venue for our wedding reception. The space is beautiful, Courtney was responsive, helpful and flexible and the staff on the day were great. We had so many compliments from our guests about how cool the space was and how great the beer was. Cant thank everyone enough.

Outstanding hospitality & one-of-a-kind venue!
The Goose Island Barrelhouse venue made our wedding truly special. :)
Event Staff: With all the changes our wedding plans endured due to COVID, the event team was not only extremely flexible but also kind and empathetic every step of the way. Their communication was speedy and they were always thinking one step ahead anticipating your needs. Even though they work with tons of couples and events every weekend, we always felt like when we spoke to them we were their top priority. Trust in the event team is imperative on your wedding day, and I can say from personal experience they are the gold standard of hospitality and event planning.
Venue: The space itself is already stunning and truly one-of-a-kind, but by bringing in some simple décor/flowers it is just breathtaking. The team wants the space to feel like your own and is very accommodating to make sure each couple can put their personal touch on the space. Just to note more awesome things about the space.....beautiful/big bathrooms, large bar space, high and low top tables provided, chairs provided, glassware provided, ground floor load-in, handicap accessible ramp, valet parking, etc. It has everything!!!
If you are looking for a space that is elegant and unique, I highly recommend you consider the Goose Island Barrelhouse. This is a 10 star recommendation!!!!!!!

Perfect venue for vows and reception!
We couldn't recommend Goose Island Barrel House enough for throwing both a wedding and reception! Courtney and her team made the processes effortless from the initial venue walk-through, up until we picked up our decor the day after. Between Courtney and our other vendors, there was no need to hire an event planner.
The day of the wedding/reception was absolute perfection. The valet service was super convenient and the house staff made our guests feel welcomed and cared for. We had 100 guests and there was plenty of space for vows, dinner, and the dance floor without needing to rearrange the space. The cellar also added extra space for guests to mingle and eat dessert/late night snacks.
The overall vibe feels upscale, but casual and comfortable enough to accommodate any wedding theme.
We can't wait to throw a party here again soon!
