I don't even know where to start, inviting Shaina to be our wedding photographer was among the easiest and best decisions we made during the planning process. I'm thrilled with our photos, they're stunning and authentically reflect the spirit and "feel" of the day. We'd recommend GoldenDoor Photography based on the photos alone. And yet, what I'm most grateful for is the professionalism, thoughtfulness, and humor that Shaina brought to the planning process. I think she was able to capture the feel of the day because she got to know us and what was important to us. It's clear that Shaina loves what she does and has fun doing it, and that made us feel relaxed and ourselves during our engagement shoot and at the wedding. She was patient and thoughtful in helping us finalize our timeline for photos. The experience was great from our very first conversation about the wedding! -

We planned a tiny wedding at the last minute and I feel so lucky that Shaina was available to be our photographer. She was clear and communicative, responsive to anxious last-minute questions, and delightful to spend time with on the day of the wedding. Our photos came out great - every image feels very "us" and is true to the spirit of the celebration that we planned. I can't recommend Shaina highly enough! -

Shaina is an absolute rockstar and I can't believe we were so lucky to find her. Her style is warm and moment-driven, exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. Obviously the portraits are important - but she caught so many little moments during our day where I can literally feel the emotion coming out of them. She was super responsive, had great reminders in the days leading up and the day of (like wiping off your flowers before holding them so they don't drip water right before your first look), and even danced with us on the dance floor. Cannot recommend Shaina, enough! -

Carla Sent on 02/14/2018I worked with Shaina recently on a photo shoot. Even though it isn't directly wedding-related, I HIGHLY recommend her as your photographer! She is VERY communicative and thorough. She explains everything out upfront and answers any questions that you may have. When it comes to day-of: she is prompt and organized. And she is such a sweetheart ! It's like working with a friend! The quality of her photos are excellent: you can tell she has experience. She provides great direction, knows how to capture light, and is an editing expert!
I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend you call Shaina as your photographer! You will not regret it!

My wife and I were first interested in Shaina because of two things: the happy and bright colors in her work, and her eagerness to work with non-traditional families. We are so happy we found her! She was so flexible and accommodating many, many times, and when we had a crazy idea for engagement photos, she was game. She was excellent working with our young kids to get great photos of them, and she captured some of everything during our day. We had a private elopement before our reception on our wedding day, and we were honored to have her there to witness our vows. We are so happy she was a part of our day! And that was before we saw the photos! They were all done before the 8 week mark, with sneak peeks much earlier, and they are GORGEOUS! Truly stunning. We will hire her again for family photos and such! Thank you so much, Shaina!
