Amazing Planning from Start to Finish!
Rachael was a godsend for our wedding. We used her full service planning and she assisted us through our nearly two year engagement with all the logistics and details of our wedding day. Not having been to many weddings, it was invaluable to have someone with so much experience in the industry. She offered so much great advice and was very responsive - I'd often receive very detailed responses sent in the wee hours of evening to random questions I asked her. On the wedding day, everything went right from start to finish (or at least from our perspective it did) and I attribute so much of that to Rachael and her assistant's help - as well as the rest of the vendor team she helped us pick. She made us feel like ours was the only wedding she was working on and truly made the day so special. I've already recommended her to multiple friends. She could be charging double her price in my opinion. -

Superb and caring service, every step of the way
From our first meeting to our goodbyes at our reception, Rachael was a joy to work with. We went into planning knowing very little, so Rachael provided us with a ton of helpful resources, such as planning timelines, vendor recommendations and vendor contact information. All this and her incredible willingness to chat made for a smooth planning process! The month leading up to the wedding, she was even more responsive, with several planning meetings set up. She handled vendor contracts, answered questions and, most importantly, worked to put our day off schedule together! On the wedding day, she handled all of our concerns and made sure we didn’t feel rushed or behind schedule. She worked seamlessly with our Maitre D, ensuring that everything ran smoothly in the background. She constantly checked up on us and coordinated with all of our vendors on our behalf. Looking back at our wedding day, it truly could not have been done without her. Rachael made our wedding feel special from day one, and lives up to her company name of Glass Slipper Weddings. Best. Planner. Ever!
Rachael is a godsend to those lost in the midst of wedding planning. Her expertise and experience in guiding couples made her invaluable through the entire process. Highly personable and responsive, she knows where to offer suggestions (whether it was adding an extra flair or NOT cluttering the venue with extra decor) and also how to calm our nerves. We opted to work with her after we lost our progress on wedding planning due to the pandemic. Over the course of about a year, she helped our wedding planning process go so smoothly, it felt almost too easy at times! Her presence was crucial on the big day, from tracking down stray party members to transporting items throughout the venue. Her sense of humor and industry expertise made the entire process fun rather than stressful. I cannot recommend Rachael enough! THANK YOU RACHAEL!!! -

A true professional
Rachael was a real blessing for our wedding. Going into this process without a concrete vision, she helped us map out how to tackle planning the wedding all the way to its fruition. she served as fantastic resource for finding exceptional vendors to work with as well as how to be efficient with our budget to get the most value. She also served as a point of contact between our various vendors in ensuring everything was coordinated seamlessly. Most importantly, Rachel kept us focused on the key tasks and served as a guide when we started going off the rails! Absolute pro!
achael was the absolute best! My husband and I hired Rachael to help plan our wedding reception which eventually was postponed due to covid. Rachael was a part of our nearly 3 year journey. She ultimately led us to the perfect location at the Wave resort in Long Branch, NJ. She was never short on suggestions and advice in those early days. Once plans were settled Rachael helped look over contracts, ease worries, and inspired us. Suffice to say, without her our magical day wouldn’t have been half as much. On the day of our reception Rachael was an absolute pro. Setting up table decor, fielding questions and calls, and the point of contact for all our vendors. I was able to sit back and enjoy the afternoon with my friends without worry. In short, I cannot recommend Rachael enough. We love Glass Slipper!
We are so grateful that we made the decision to hire Rachael Citron from Glass Slipper as our Month Of/Day Of Wedding Coordinator! We can say without a doubt that both our planning process and wedding day would not have been as seamless and wonderful if not for Rachael and her associate Shannon. Rachael not only referred us to countless amazing vendors, but she also guided us when it came to reviewing contracts and making big decisions that would impact our day. When we were stuck in a creative rut or needed ideas to make our wedding unique, she would jump on a call with us to discuss different options. Rachael and Shannon met with us and the venue coordinator the month before the wedding and created a master day of timeline that was literally our lifeline on the wedding day. She reached out to all our vendors the week of in order to ensure everyone was aware of where they needed to be and when so that nothing fell through the cracks. Her coordination is truly what helped us feel confident and secure in knowing our big day would be everything we ever dreamed of and go off without a hitch. Shannon came to our Rehearsal Dinner and conducted our ceremony rehearsal in a restaurant with lots of people and not much room, and made it work without any issues! Shannon was also there with us on the wedding day and she was absolutely incredible. We could not have asked for anything more. She kept us all organized, on track, and made sure everyone was where they needed to be at all times. She kept the mood upbeat and made sure my husband and I were always happy and involved in every decision (this was really important to us with all of the forecast uncertainty we were facing). She worked so well with the venue to ensure everything was set up correctly and in the proper place. She must have carried my bag and items up and down from my room to the ballroom about 500 times and never once complained. She is a total rockstar. We highly recommend Glass Slipper and are so grateful we had the opportunity to work with them!

My wedding was ABSOLUTELY perfect, and it’s all thanks to Rachael! She recommended all these amazing vendors, she coordinated everything the day of, helped with the decorations, had a plan b for in case it rained (which it did), everything! Detail-Oriented, Professional, Amazing!
I wish I were having another wedding so I could hire Rachael again. I'm very organized and tried coordinating my first micro wedding on my own on 9/19/2020 - and after that - I realized I needed to hire someone for our wedding reception on 9/4/2021. I reached out to Rachael and as soon as we spoke, I knew she was perfect. She is extremely detail-orientated and very organized. We also had a lot of vendors and she was able to seamlessly create the schedule (as well as timelines for the vendors and my bridal party so everyone knew exactly where they needed to be at what time). She was so helpful throughout the process as well, including when we were picking out vendors (like the shuttle). I didn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day because I knew that Rachael had everything under control. If you don't think you need a coordinator, take it from a fellow bride that (1) you do and (2) you should hire Rachael as your coordinator. I will definitely recommend Rachael to my family and friends. -

The best wedding planner out there!
I cannot say enough good things about Rachael! When planning a wedding, especially out of state, it's tough to know the nuances you should consider and it's tough to find good vendors that are local. Rachael was with us every step of the way sending us amazing recommendations, helping us review contracts with vendors, and truly being our advocate throughout the process. She also helped us navigate the unprecedented COVID cancellations/postponements. However, our wedding day was when Rachael really shined. She was calm and made sure every detail of the day was executed beautifully. Our venue had a "day of" coordinator but that was very basic, we really needed Rachael to be looking out for our interests on our wedding day. I thought I didn't need a wedding planner but after meeting Rachael, I couldn't believe how wrong I was. Go with Rachael for your wedding day, you will not be disappointed! -

My Fairy Wedding Coordinator!
What can I say about Rachael? We’re kindred spirits. I loved working with her. When we were looking for a day of wedding coordinator I wasn’t expecting a sweet surprise. She also loves Halloween and I wanted to incorporate a bit of a gothic feel to our wedding. When I spoke to Rachael about some of my ideas she really put me at ease and helped me pick out some tasteful décor to create that hauntingly beautiful feel that I wanted our family and friends to appreciate. Rachael is the jack-of-all-trades! She took care of everything from making sure that all our vendors were up to date with scheduling, delivery, and any other last minute things were taken care of. She even made it out to our rehearsal dinner to talk to our immediate family and those in the bridal party to make sure things ran smoothly the day of. Rachael will make sure that your day is how you want it to be. -

Amazing in every way!
Rachael was everything we could hope for and more. We weren’t thinking of hiring any type of planner but after thoroughly thinking and imagining how crazy the day-of would be, it only made sense to hire a day-of planner. Her bubbly personality was the perfect fit for our wedding! She was patient, helpful, reliable, and a total problem solver with her awesome tool bag. She was able to quickly fix up exposed bra straps and a fallen tux button within minutes! What we loved the most was that she worked WITH us and was super accommodating and flexible with regards to our timeline and our wants/needs for our special day. She also saved us by recommending a wonderful florist last minute. Our parents and our entire bridal party loved her and gave us glowing feedback on her. I recently worked with Rachel on our belated wedding reception and I was very happy with her service. Not having planned an event of this magnitude before, her insights and advice were invaluable, and really gave me a sense of confidence about our event. Rachael is an unbelievably amazing wedding coordinator. There are not enough words to fully express how much she helped us throughout the wedding process. The month by month checklist made an impossible task manageable, and made it so wedding planning was not only stress-free but also fun. She answered the endless amount of emails and contacted all our vendors leading up to our wedding.
She's highly regarded in the wedding community and had so many recommendations for different vendors, some of whom gave discounts because they came Rachael recommended!
She helped corral our wedding party during the rehearsal and put out fires on our actual day. Every single vendor showed up on time, the actual ceremony & reception ran on time, and everyone was fed and taken care of.

How can I describe Rachael? She has a self-assured and confident nature without being overbearing. She's trustworthy, prompt, and generous with her time. She's enthusiastic and not afraid of a little DIY (in fact, she encouraged it). A few of my favorite things about working with Rachael: - She gave excellent recommendations for DJs and photographers, two areas of the whole wedding planning process that I was dreading because it just seemed so exhausting. She was spot-on with her recommendation. How? She knows her clients and she knows her vendors, and makes recommendations based not just on budget and style but personality match. She can read people well and knows who will just make that "connection". If I was to pay myself for the hours I saved by not painstakingly poring over reviews and research to find them on my own, I'd estimate it was about $1000 right there. - She went above and beyond to help us find an outdoor venue for our ceremony. Ultimately, we went with an indoor option at our reception spot, but she diligently got to work contacting all of the venues I suggested and helped me identify pros and cons of booking them instead of keeping everything in one place. - We were interested in doing a few "different" things, and with each weird "can we ___?" question we had, we were met with a "yes" or a "no problem". We wanted a spiral aisle (got it!). We said, "no, we don't want a photo booth- let's do a five senses station!"- Rachael and Shannon (her wonderful assistant) waved their magic wands and it was done! We wanted to have a "guest recessional" OUT of the spiral aisle- went without a hitch! - She also helped us with pre-wedding festivities. She obtained information about getting a picnic permit for our BBQ celebration the day before and helped us arrange for live entertainment AND find a rental company for tables and chairs. Our day went smoothly, our guests all had such positive comments, and I can't recommend Rachael and Shannon enough. -

What can I say? Rachael is phenomenal! We worked with Rachael for over a year planning our Oct 2017 nuptials. Throughout the entire process, Rachael was always available to discuss vendors, decoration ideas, and anything I could possibly bother her with. lol Her ability to take my ideas and help turn them into reality is why I would recommend her to ANYONE looking for a wedding planner. She was calm when I was stressed and present when I had to be elsewhere. Rachael did a fantastic job helping us plan our wedding weekend! She was very thorough in explaining all the preparations we would need to make to be ready for the big day. She has a great list of vendors to work with and everyone we chose told us without being prompted that they really enjoy working with Rachael at events because she is very thoughtful of their needs and makes sure the day runs smoothly for all the participants. AS the groom, i was all over my wife telling her we didn't need a Wedding Planner and it was a waste of money. I told her this for months before the wedding. Man was I WRONG! I'm not one to admit when i'm wrong but here i was. I wedding went seamlessly, and without any problems what so ever. I know we didn't just "get lucky". We had Rachael. She ran around all day putting out all of our fires so we could enjoy the day. Even though our officiant was very nasty to her she took it in stride and acted very professionally.
Guys, do yourself a favor, don't look at the money (even if you budget is tight, it was worth every penny) get yourself a wedding planner. Get yourself THIS wedding planner. -

Rachael was amazing to work with from all the planning through the wedding. She kept us on track with planning and timelines. It was great how she confirmed with the vendors and even caught an error with our shuttle and corrected it. As a bride I felt like I didn't have to worry and could enjoy my whole day. Im sure if she could have controlled the weather she would have done so. Rachael was so prepared and organized that everything went smoothly. Whether she was running from room to room while the parties were getting ready to putting on the guys boutonniere to 2getting everyone in their places at each wedding location, Rachael was there. For a bridal party that was 20 people plus 4 children, this was no easy task. I can't thank Rachael enough for making the day amazing! Rachael and Shannon were absolutely fabulous, and helped make our weekend perfect. From our first call with Rachael, she was there to answer any question we had or give us her expert advice. On the weekend of the wedding, having her Friday and Saturday made all of our lives so much easier! She was so on top of everything and kept everyone sane and organized. Thank God for Rachael! We decided to go with the Month/Day of Package. Rachael developed the timeline with me and distributed it to everyone at he Rehearsal! The day of the wedding she was awesome! She watched the time; she did the guys boutonnières; she helped with my bustle; she was there for every detail! Rachael absolutely saved the day when I forgot our marriage license in the hotel room! Rachael went back got the license and had it at the ceremony in time for it to be signed!! Everyone should have Rachael as their wedding planner!!! -

I think the phrase, " Hiring Rachael was the best decision we made" was said about 23579493 times while we worked with her. From the beginning, she was responsive and detailed and so incredibly nice. Furthermore, her prices were the most reasonable of all the wedding planners that we spoke to. She worked with us to customize our package and was flexible in taking out things that we thought we wouldn't utilize. We decided to go with the Fairy Godmother package as we were planning two weddings on two separate weekend from 4 hours away and needed a lot of help.
Rachael contacted all our potential vendors and set up appointment with them, and then followed up with them after we had booked. I had a schedule and contact info every time I went to go see venues. The week of the wedding, she called and verified with everyone which was SO helpful when we were busy with last minute details. During our planning meetings, which lasted hours, we never felt like she was rushing us. She was always very organized and detail oriented!
On the day of the weddings, Rachael and her assistants were there for us in every capacity! It was 105 degrees out that day and they were right here in the sun with us with water and napkins! Shannon even ran out to get sunglasses and new undershirts for the guys so they would have fresh shirts after the baraat. During our second wedding, we had forgotten about lunch, so Rachael ran out to get us some food.
The best thing about GS was that, during the surprise Flashmob I had planned for my husband, I looked out and Rachael and Shannon were right in there doing the dance! It really felt like they were family and we will definitely miss them! My husband and I have been telling all our friends who are getting married about GS so that they will hire them and we'll get to hang out again! And also because her and her staff are amazing people and put in the all the extra effort and more that you want on your wedding day. Don't hesitate to hire her! -

I am so glad that I went with the idea of having a wedding planner, and that I found Rachel here. I needed someone to help with all the last bit of details so we worked out a month of/day of package, had her with me from just before the first vendor arrived at our venue straight through the end. She helped with everything, time line for the day of, helping us with rehearsal, even switching shoes and rogue curls. She helped make my day less stressful. Highly recommend a wedding planner. She kept me calm while getting ready and focused when I was getting overwhelmed. She even help me get water before the ceremony!
She also helped the guys with their boutonnieres after a panicked text from my groom. She kept the guys on schedule as well as the girls.
She even kept an eye out for me on who won the NASCAR race that day. She was truly my calm in the storm of my beautiful whirlwind day. -

Hiring Glass Slipper Weddings, by far, was one of my favorite choices that I made during my wedding planning. I chose the "Day of Coordination" package for my wedding as I found them later on in my wedding planning process. Rachael and Lauren were absolutely fantastic to work with. Rachael always made herself available to me for any questions that I had leading up to my wedding day and even after my event was over. She was timely with her responses and truly offered great insight to ideas and planning. They both met with me and my fiancé (now husband!) about 2 weeks before the wedding and organized all my vendors and schedule down to the second!
Lauren was my day of coordinator and attended both my rehearsal and wedding day. At my rehearsal, she made sure my bridal party was on point and aware of all the ceremony details. On the wedding day, Lauren made sure everyone remained organized, calm and on schedule...everyone loved working with her! Having both Lauren and Rachael during this time really put my mind at ease and allowed me to be a stress free and happy bride! I 100% recommend hiring Glass Slipper as they made my wedding day perfect and truly the best day of my life! -

Rachael has been there for me every step of the way, we had a two year engagement and it was so great to have someone to turn to with questions, which were always answered promptly, and recommendations, which were amazing! The night before Rachel helped run everything smoothly, passed out timelines to our HUGE bridal party which helped everyone be where they needed to be and I did not have to worry at all! The day of we had a lot to do in a little bit of time and Rachael and her assistant Shannon kept us on time with no stress and even helped set up the church since we had to wait until after mass that morning. Our wedding went so smoothly and I had very little stress the whole day which is a lot to say considering it was a crazy Italian wedding of 250 people! Thank you so much Rachael!!! -

Rachael was our wedding planner for our wedding 9/20/14 and she was amazing! She did so much for us and helped the day run so smoothly. It was nice to have someone to recommend vendors, especially since we were planning from out of town. She was great when someone recommended something I wasn't sure of - for example needing permits for pictures in certain locations. She knew what was necessary and what wasn't, helped make sure all of our details made it to the ceremony and reception site, and handled phone calls, tips, and checking in with vendors on the day of. Her timeline made the planning so easy - I think I'm one of the only people I know that had good things to say about wedding planning when it was over! Our day was so perfect, and Rachael helped it happen! -

When I first presented my fiance with the idea of hiring a planner, he wasn't all for it. He didn't understand the need for one. However, I insisted and since he knew the wedding would be a stressful time in our lives he figured whatever he could do to cut down on the stress level he would do. Stephanie was very organized and lead to me a great company to rent our linens from. Our final meeting before the wedding relieved so much stress and even my fiance said on the way home he was so glad that I pushed to hire her. Our day went by without a hitch (and if there was any, we didn't know about a single one!) Would highly recommend Glass Slipper Events! -

A couple of months before my wedding day, I came across Glass Slipper Weddings and Events while browsing weddingwire. I went to their website right away just for the name alone! Who wouldn't want a fairy tale wedding?The description of the Once Upon A Time package is as follows: for those who have most of their plans in order, but need someone to act as a personal assistant on the wedding day itself & make sure every detail is in place. I knew that was exactly what I wanted! I contacted Glass Slipper via email & Rachael got back to me in a timely manner. She met with my mother & I soon after & from our first meeting, I knew that she would provide me with the calm/worry free day that I was looking for. I am a worrier at heart whether I like it or not & Rachael took all of the worry off my shoulders. She contacted all of my vendors to confirm details & she sat with me for over an hour planning every detail of the day. She assisted & provided a wedding day timeline,attended & assisted w/ the wedding rehearsal & provided unlimited advice via email for every question that came up pre-wedding. The day of the wedding she was there to assist my wedding party with anything that we needed. She also made sure that the entire day ran smoothly. Rachael is very good w/ time management! Rachael at Glass Slipper Weddings will truly make your wedding day the day you have dreamed of. She is friendly and professional and will guide you through the whole process. I had friends and family try to tell me that I didn't need to pay a wedding planner, but I know without all her help the whole planning process would have been much more stressful. Definitely worth the investment!
She and her assistant were invaluable on the day of the wedding. Even if you don't need someone to help with vendors and planning, hire her for day-of. I was able to relax and actually enjoy being pampered and treated like, well, like a bride! I had complete confidence in her to make sure all the little details would be taken care of. The ceremony went off perfectly. The chuppah was set up properly, the ceremony pieces were in place, and everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there.
I think I got away with something, as she should probably be paid double for her expertise and amazing service! -

They will make numerous recommendations for you to choose from for your vendor selection and will keep on top of you to assure all things are moving along. The best part of selecting them is having them at the wedding. Not only did they do a fantastic job with the dress rehersal, but they were awsome with detail and follow-through on our day. They addressed all the little unexpected issues that came up with absolute professionalism and with a smile to boot. How anyone does it without having a planner is beyond me. I was planning my wedding from NC and Ashtyn could not have been more helpful. There is no way I would have gotten anything done without her. She was a wealth of knowledge and was prompt when getting answers to my questions and replying to my emails. On the day of, she took care of everything and I only had myself to worry about. We hired Rachael from Glass Slipper Wedding and Events for their "Once Upon A Time" Month-of Plus Coordination Package. Once met with Rachael, we instantly knew she was the planner for us. She was friendly, smart, and very in tune with what would make our wedding special. Throughout our planning process, she was there with great recommendations. In fact, most of the vendors we hired were recommendations that Rachael had given us (officiant, photographer, florist, and makeup/hair).
We were told from the beginning that Diane, one of Rachael’s wedding coordinators, would be our day-of planner. Diane and her husband, Walter, were fantastic. They kept my husband and I very happy the entire day. They were willing and able to do anything that we needed. Thank you Rachael, Diane, and Walter…because of you, my husband and I have only beautiful memories of our wedding day!

You and your assistant were great and on top of it all. After reading glowing reviews, I decided to hire Glass Slipper for my day-of coordination needs. Rachael was my main contact from the day I booked until about a month before my wedding, and she was absolutely amazing. So professional, and detail oriented. Via Skype, I was introduced to Lauren, who would be there for the rehearsal dinner and the big day itself. Lauren was nice and I was looking forward to handing her the reigns.
Unfortunately when it came to Glass Slipper, I found myself disappointed. First off, I has essentially no contact with Lauren on the day of the wedding. I got emotional greeting some special guests at our rehearsal the night before and because she saw me as "distraught" decided to speak only to my bridal party. She wanted to keep me from being stressed, but as the bride, I am the only one who knows 100% of what's supposed to happen. A simple 20 minute convo on the phone would have cleared things up.
There were lots of details I had planned very thoroughly that she didn't seem to agree with and so she just didn't follow through. The worst was the cake. We ordered enough cake for 145 guests (if we ordered something smaller, it would have been too-little cake). Since we had 100 guests, we were just going to cut the slices bigger. Instead, Lauren allowed them to cut the slices half an inch thick. It wasn't until everyone left that we realized that we had a quarter of a half sheet and the ENTIRE two-tier cake left (we had specifically said that were NOT keeping the top layer).
I didn't get to talk to Lauren before she left about my issues, that I didn't catch in time to fix. So I sent she and Rachael an email. Lauren was very defensive and blamed everyone else for my concerns, but she especially blamed me. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I would not use them again.Glass Slipper Weddings and Events's reply:
We regret that our day-of services did not meet your expectations, Christina. We pride ourselves on excellent communication and professionalism, as our reviews will attest.
As we explained, the general wedding cake rule is to order a slice for about 80% of your guest list. You had ordered approximately 1.5 slices of cake per person, and so there was much more than needed. There were also extra slices placed out for your guests to take if they wanted them.
Your planner Lauren was readily available to you at the rehearsal and during the entire day-of, and she also communicated directly with your bridal party, who were specifically sent to her with information and instructions. Several issues (such as the wasp nest over the bar) were solved without troubling you during your special day, and Lauren kept everything running smoothly on schedule.
We truly enjoyed working with you, and we wish you all the best for a long and joyful marriage.

If you want your wedding day to run the way you planned, steer clear of this planner. If you want somebody to stand around all day and talk to you about all of their past weddings without actually helping you, then this is the planner for you. My husband's button remained unsewn for the majority of the day, as she mostly just discussed how she is a master seamstress rather than actually sewing the button. She began the procession before my videographer got into the church because he was outside videotaping me getting out of the limo, so my mother walking down the aisle is not on video. When the videographer wanted to reshoot, she said we had no time because we needed to move onto taking pictures. At the picture site, my photographer kept telling her to get out of his shot. She wasn't in the shot helping me with my gown or veil, she was in the shot talking to her assistant as my husband carried my gown and veil around as it got stuck to the ground. Every single one of my vendors complained about her complete lack of common sense. It took her a half hour to find a bobbi pin while my hairdresser was trying to put my veil in. All of my bridesmaids were totally confused 99% of the time because I thought Rachael was taking care of everything, when really she never told them what to do. I was probably the most organized and put together bride Rachael has ever seen, and all she did was insult the one or two things I probably forgot about that were very minor unimportant details. She showed up late to the rehearsal, late to my house, and left the wedding early because there was nothing else for her to do. I purposefully did not buy my bridesmaids tissues because Rachael told me she had the tissues under control. Well needless to say my bridesmaids had no tissues. It would have been significantly better if Rachael was not there as I would have been more on top of everything, but I sat back thinking she had everything under control. Don't waste your money!!!!!!! -
