    Absolutely amazing and STUNNING!!

    This was the only venue we toured, and we absolutely fell in love!! It was the perfect mini destination wedding for us and their all inclusive packages made the wedding planning process such a breeze. The views are absolutely breathtaking and all throughout our wedding, guests just kept complimenting how beautiful the venue was and asking how we found it. The staff was amazing from start to finish, and we are so happy and honored to have gotten married at Glass Hill!!

    Beautiful and professional

    What an incredible venue! From the initial inquiry to the wedding itself, a beauty and professional experience. The staff made the preparation and execution light work for our family. Will (and already have) recommend highly.

    The perfect venue!

    There are so many great things to say about Glass Hill, and nothing negative to say! My husband and I got married there in May and it was simply a perfect day. The staff was super helpful and responsive in answering all of our questions leading up to the wedding. They truly desire to meet the vision of your day and serve you to the best of their ability. They have multiple pricing options that can fit most, if not all budgets. They also provide many beautiful décor options, like the table numbers and sweetheart table! They care about every detail of the day, and it showed so beautifully on our special day! Glass Hill provides a warm, welcoming, and beautiful place to celebrate the covenant of marriage. On top of everything, we just had the most amazing pictures that I have received so many compliments on. They are my dream wedding pictures with the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains surrounding us. Highly recommend this venue!!

    Enchanting Venue

    I am quite speechless when it comes to Glass Hill Venue. It was a dream come true from start to finish and that’s the pure truth of my wedding story.
    I took one look into those mountains and knew it was everything my heart wanted and had not found yet. What I keep telling people when they ask about our wedding is “there were answered prayers in every detail,” and Glass Hill Venue was certainly one of those answered prayers.
    Diane, Megan, and Hannah are so kind and thoughtful. From our first inquiry to the very day itself, they worked to ensure we were taken care of and had the most perfect day. We were sold on their warmth alone, but the venue is altogether enchanting. From the deep blue mountains to the breathtaking arbor, the gorgeous bride and groom suites to the warm and inviting ballroom. We had the most magical day and felt surrounded by beauty and grace at Glass Hill Venue!

    Most gorgeous venue in SWVA

    I couldn't be happier that we chose Glass Hill as our venue to get married. One of the most important considerations to us was a gorgeous mountain view: check! But what really made Glass Hill stand out from the other pretty venues in the area was how polished and elegant the lodge is. Once you step inside, you can sense the magic there. We got so many compliments from our guests at how stunning the location was, and we couldn't agree more. The owners are very accommodating and sweet, and we are so thankful that this venue was available for our wedding! (Photos by Abbey Dillard)

    Everything you dreamed of, and more.

    Every inch Glass Hill Venue is absolutely beautiful! The mountain range is stunning, and for rainy day alternatives their reception hall is breathtaking. The staff is equally as wonderful and were so easy to work with. Their kindness is unparalleled and any bride would be lucky to work with such amazing people on their special day. Thank you, Glass Hill, for making my husband and I's wedding perfect in every way possible. We are forever grateful for your loving hearts and eagerness to make each wedding unique and special.

    Dream come true!

    I have seen this venue from all sides; guest, bridesmaid and now bride. The team puts in countless hours making sure they can make the event space perfect. From the indoor and outdoor options to the cool props they offer for the big day; they have the perfect picture. These ladies give this special day something extra. Make sure to book this venue quick I am sure you will not regret it!

    Beautiful venue. Amazing staff.

    Choosing Glass Hill Venue as our wedding venue was the easiest and best decision we made. The staff are kind, responsive, helpful and honest. They made everything easy from the first email sent to the closing of our wedding day. Not only did they help make the day stress free, they made it special.

    October Wedding at Glass Hill 2018

    We absolutely LOVED having our wedding at Glass Hill! Everything was beautiful and everything went so well the day of. The staff was so great and easy to work with and they helped to make our day so special. If you are looking for a wedding venue, you NEED to check out Glass Hill! Easily one of my favorite venues in the Lynchburg area.

    The most incredibly beautiful location to get married in the entire world. The staff went above and beyond to make us happy and give us the greatest day possible. They even gave US a gift to thank us for using their venue (so sweet by the way). It's two weeks later and people still can't stop talking about Glass Hill! Perfect choice for our perfect day

    most beautiful views, great place to get married, especially if you like seclusion and rustic. Amazing lodge, very well done, sightly hard to get to if a large part of the guests are from out of town, however transportation arrangements can take care of this.

    Unaccomodating

    While Glass Hill is certainly a beautiful venue they were not accommodating to the changes enforced by the state during the COVID-19 pandemic. I had a wedding scheduled for July and was expecting well over the 50 people limit. Due my concerns for safety and the unpredictability of the laws and regulations changes being made, I decided the best option was to cancel. I had put down half of the payment required and they refused to give a single cent back. This was very upsetting because I was had not used their venue once nor had they done any work toward my wedding. So I lost $3000 for them to now gain an opening during a prime wedding season. During any other circumstance, I can completely understand them not giving a refund. However, I could not have predicted six months before my wedding that a pandemic would occur. Nor could I have predicted what the laws and regulations would be at the time of my wedding. I feel like this was very unfair as some other venues where offering brides at least their down payment back but Glass Hill Venue kept all $3000 for doing nothing.

    Like many brides, wedding venues, vendors, as well as countless businesses across our country, we have spent endless hours navigating through the unchartered waters initiated by COVID 19. Our main focus was on our brides who were directly impacted by these unfortunate events. That commitment was never more evident than during the last few months as we rescheduled 20 brides as well as the vendors associated with many of them.

    While we share the many frustrations associated with these challenging times, we never wavered in our resolve to accommodate all of our brides. We balanced these difficulties with compassion, understanding and reasonable solutions. While it is impossible to meet every request, we considered every situation as some were more unique than others. However, in all situations, we balanced all decisions with our contractual agreements, a necessary form of fairness to all.

    Like many in the wedding industry, our contract states, in the event of any unforeseen circumstances, we will make every effort to reschedule your wedding. Cancellations, however, do have consequences. On March 24th we received your email confirming you were aware of our ability to reschedule your wedding. Unfortunately, on May 4th, rather than reschedule your wedding, you cancelled your event. We responded with an email reaffirming our ability to reschedule your event, however you declined and chose to cancel your wedding.

    As with most wedding venues our contract lays out the cancellation policy in great detail. Events cancelled within a 6-month timeframe of the event forfeit all monies paid as of that date. Cancellations so close to a wedding date make it impossible to rebook another event, under any circumstances, since most weddings are booked nearly a year or more in advance. And since the cancellation was made just two weeks shy of the final payment due date and two months from the wedding ceremony, it is fair to say, the financial burden was shared equally by us both.

    Again, I am saddened that we were not given the opportunity to host your wedding by rescheduling to a more suitable date. We hope that you and your husband have a long and happy life together. Blessings to you both.
