Shaniqua was my stylist for my wedding this past weekend and if I could give her more than 5 stars I would! I booked about a year and change out and leading up to the wedding Shaniqua provided by day of coordinator and myself a thorough timeline and was very patient with any changes we needed to make. Day of Shaniqua and her assistant arrived with ample time to set up and start promptly. Even with some delays they managed to get everyone done early! By the end of the night my hair barely lost any shaping/volume/etc. Shaniqua and her team are very professional, talented, and were a pleasure to be with on my wedding day!! -

Shaniqua did an amazing job on my hair for my wedding day. My venue was outside during summer, with no air conditioning. This is definitely a challenge as a girl with natural hair that wanted a straight look, but she made it happen! Shaniqua was professional, and made me look so beautiful on my wedding day. Shaniqua is the REAL DEAL! I wanted an up-do for my wedding in Mexico, but I wanted a unique style. Shaniqua created a very classy bun that was beyond anything that I could imagine. During my preview, we played around with ideas and I trusted her direction.
In Mexico, my natural hair was not cooperating with the humidity. Shaniqua was fully prepared to fix me up when needed to prevent further frizz. She is talented and knows her craft very well.
She also did my mom’s makeup for the wedding, a nice soft glam look that matches her style.
Her calm demeanor is a plus especially on a very busy and overwhelming day. She never left my side from the ceremony to my second look at the end of the reception. Shaniqua made sure my hair, headpiece and veil stayed intact throughout the numerous photos taken that night.
I highly recommend Shaniqua and Glamour by Shaniqua, for your wedding day hair and makeup needs. You need her on your team! -

She made sure to be on time, professional and efficient. The weather changed our plans but she had a plan and executed it well. My hair stayed styles through the entire day and night despite humidity and rain. Make up was perfect all night and in all pictures -

Shaniqua is an amazing hair stylist. What I really like is her consistency, professionalism, time management, and attention to Detail. From the hair trial to the wedding day, I knew I was in great hands. She really exceeded my expectations in every way. She created a stunning hairstyle for my big day that looked similar to my inspiration photos but were tailored to highlight my best features. Shaniqua came on time and my maid of honor and I looked fantastic when it was all done. I got married on the hottest day in the summer and I was taking pictures outside. The plan was to style my hair in loose curls only but with the heat and humidity, I knew my natural hair will become an afro within a couple of hours. She put it up instead for no extra charge. With the touch up kit provided that my bridesmaids used well, my hair survived the weather with minimal evidence on turning. I would recommend Glamour by Shaniqua to all natural hair brides who decides to do a blowout for the big day. -

I can not thank Shaniqua enough for the amazing work she did on my wedding day! My hair came out beautifully. Shaniqua kept me at ease throughout the day and was very patient with me. Even though I trialed two hairstyles I could not make up my mind about the exact style I wanted but I trusted Shaniqua and she did not disappoint! As someone who wears their hair natural I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to find someone who could manage my hair but Shaniqua was gentle and made sure to protect my hair as well. I could not have been happier with how well my hair and my bridesmaids hair came out! The compliment on my hair did not stop. Shaniqua was easy to get in contact with and was punctual. I would highly recommend working with Glamorbyshaniqua for your big day or any day you just want to feel beautiful! -

She did a trial hair and makeup for my engagement photo shoot and needless to say, my hair came out amazing and the makeup was awesome! The makeup lasted the entire shoot without reapplying. As a result, my photos came out amazing! I am booking her for my wedding next year. I am excited to work with her. Highly recommend! -

She cared about my idea for my look and asked for feedback throughout and after our trial. On the day of, she had good energy and was thorough but quick. I loved how natural and glam my makeup looked, but best of all, my face stayed put the whole night! 12 hours later I couldn’t believe it. Highly recommended. Thanks, Shaniqua!

In planning my own wedding, I am so grateful that my hair and makeup was the easiest most stress-free part of the process. She took charge of executing my vision of what I wanted to look like (& making it better). Shaniqua was prompt on the day of my wedding and brought an assistant who was equally as talented to assist with the hair and makeup of my 6 bridesmaids and my mother and me. I definitely recommend Shaniqua & will hire her again for the next special event. -

She also did my bridal party's make-up. I had a large bridal party of 8 girls for an 11am wedding and Shaniqua delivered! My wedding was on time and myself and my girls were stunning and radiant! I am truly happy with the decision to use Shaniqua. She is very personable and helpful if you need guidance. I was somewhat indecisive because I'm not very knowledgeable about make-up and she guided my decisions. I am truly grateful I chose to use Shaniqua. I enjoyed her service and company so much that I invited her to stay for my wedding! Now...that speaks volumes!
