August 15th 2020 wedding
Ginger was incredible to work with, she was very responsive to my emails and took the time to know my family members names for our wedding. They were calling for storms on our wedding day and Ginger knew we wanted pictures on the beach so she suggested doing a first look, it worked out perfectly! She was great with all the kids in our wedding party and getting them to smile for pictures, she made everyone feel very comfortable. I highly recommend using GingerSnaps Photography. -

Everyone in the wedding party was stunned with her patience and energy with the everyone but especially the babies and dogs. She knew everyone’s name the day of the wedding as well as making sure she captured each shot I requested. Not only was she great to work with but the photos are breath taking! We could not have found a better photographer. You won’t regret hiring Ginger! -

There is so much I could say about Ginger, but I’ll sum it up by saying we truly had the best possible experience with her as our wedding photographer! We planned our wedding from out of state and when we came into town, Ginger took the time to meet up with us and our toddler for froyo and discuss any and all questions we had. Prior to our wedding she was always accessible and answered any questions that came up as quick as she could, as well as calling a couple weeks prior to get an idea of which family members would be attending and if there were any specific shots we wanted her to capture. The day of the wedding she brought such an infectiously warm and bubbly energy that it was so easy to relax and feel comfortable with her there. We just received our sneak peeks and we are absolutely in LOVE with what we have seen so far and cannot wait to see the rest of the work Ginger does!! We absolutely believe that we could not have had a better experience with any other photographer. Thank you so much Ginger! -

Ginger was so amazing! Super personable! I knew the moment we spoke on the phone, she would have to be our photographer. Not just because she is a dog lover, like us, but we did love that!! She let us customize my package to fit our needs and budget. We already have our edited proofs to look at, and it's pretty hard to narrow it down for our album because there's so many good ones! She was ready for anything! Knew our families names, had bobbi pins for the girls( it was super windy that day), squeaky ball and treats for our dogs. I really wanted group shots of the whole ceremony and both our sides. Ginger was able to handle our families and everyone else to get them in these shots. I don't think a lot of photographers could have done that! She also made sure we got all the shots we wanted before she left. We can't say enough great things about her. I can't wait to see how the album turns out if we could only narrow it down. If you're planning a wedding in the OBX, you should hire Ginger! -

We worked with Ginger for both our engagement and wedding photos and I cannot recommend her enough. We had so much fun during our engagement shoot; her energy and enthusiasm are unmatched as is her skill with a camera. We instantly clicked and I felt like we’d known each other for years. I was blown away by how perfect our engagement photos were and having just received our sneak peak from our wedding day, I know these photos will be even more beautiful. She is great at managing all the “difficult” people who hate taking pictures and can coax a smile or a laugh out of any grumpy child (or adult!). I’d highly recommend Ginger for any of your photography needs! -

Ginger was one of the most pleasant and accommodating vendors I worked with prior to, during, and after our big day. She and her partner always had a smile on their faces, and genuinely had a good time photographing our wedding! She had such great ideas on poses and also did a great job working with the little ones, which was such a HUGE help! I'm in the wedding business, and I have yet to find another vendor that equals Ginger's passion and genuine love of what she does. My Mother was ill, but present, on our wedding day, and passed shortly thereafter. It's been a little over a year and a half and we STILL haven't picked our favorite pictures....BUT....Ginger gave us all the time we needed, and we never felt rushed, not in the slightest. I wish everyone would take a page from her book; she's just "gets" it. -

Amazing photographer!
Ginger is a fantastic photographer! She exceeded our expectations in every way. From the very beginning, Ginger was quick to return calls and really took the time to get to know my fiancé and I prior to our wedding. She was accommodating, listened to the things I mentioned that were important to us, and was laid back throughout our wedding day! Not only did our pictures turn out beautiful, but she was incredibly easy going and fun to work with. Her rates are very reasonable and her quality of work is amazing! Ginger is friendly, flexible, talented and professional. Ginger deserves more than 5 stars and we highly recommend her! -

Amanda Sent on 08/17/2018Ginger was absolutely amazing to work with! I had gone back and forth between a two or three photographers but I had been eyeing up Ginger's photos for a while, and when I met her at the bridal show, I knew she was our girl!
She had amazing energy, made my husband and I feel so comfortable and she was excellent with our puppy! (She made this adorable little "bark bark" sound and we still use it, almost two months later, to get our dogs attention lol)
She engaged the guest the entire night, was sociable, understanding and so easygoing! The next day our were talking about how motivational she was and how they wanted her just follow them around, telling them how great they are!
My sister and brother-in-law plan on going down to the OBX next summer and want to reach out to her for family photos.
I would 100% hire her again! -

Marina Sent on 01/03/2018Ginger was absolutely amazing! Our wedding story is anything but standard. The first wedding was interrupted by Hurricane Matthew, the trash the dress shoot happened before the real wedding and it took an additional year to actually have our ceremony on the beach as planned. Ginger was totally flexible, helped me maintain a sense of humor through it all and was a delight the day we finally said, "I do". Everyone at the wedding loved her energy and fun loving spirit. She captured all the photos I wanted and more. We will be back in 5 years to celebrate and will be calling her to capture that special day as well.

Samantha Sent on 10/27/2017Ginger was seriously amazing!! We were married in a small ceremony with photography coverage and additional photos on the beach. There were quite a few children in our group and she somehow managed to get each of them to cooperate and smile! Along with taking amazing photos and we were able to get all the shots we wanted! She knew everyone’s names and helped make our day memorable! We received our proofs at 5 weeks and couldn’t be happier with the result! Thank you again for doing a wonderful job!!!

Ashley Sent on 06/02/2016I can't say enough great things about Ginger - she is amazing! She has such a bubbly personality and her smile is contagious. You can't help but smile when she is around.
She shot our engagement pictures in the fall of 2015 and of course the day of it rained. She was in contact throughout the day giving options for shooting another time, or waiting it out. It ended up clearing up right as we pulled up to our location and it ended up being perfect! I couldn't even believe how many great pictures she captured. One of the most memorable parts was her barking to try to get our pup to look at the camera. She knew exactly what to do to get her to pay attention and they are some of the best pictures.
I was so excited to see her on our wedding day and for her to be a part of it. She definitely felt like more of a friend than a vendor. She has such a talent and passion for what she does. She had us do some really great poses as a couple and some really cute ones with our bridal party. I can't wait to see our wedding pictures!!!
I could just go on and on. I love Ginger and will definitely be using her again in the future when we have babies. :) -

You won't regret it!!! We cannot recommend Ginger enough. She is an INCREDIBLE photographer and she also knows how to run a business with professionalism, attention to detail, amazing customer service and grace. She went above and beyond with every request we had and was so helpful. She and her assistant did an amazing job! We're still getting compliments on our photos months later and we are having a really hard time choosing which ones to frame! Ginger is definitely someone to be trusted with snapping some of the most important photos of your life!! We can't wait to book her again for more photos. -

She works with you to modify her photo packages to work for you and your budget. When it came to getting pictures after the ceremony of the wedding party she knew how to get it done efficiently and effectively. I would hire her again in a heart beat. My family is still talking about how wonderful the photos turned out and what a pleasure Ginger was on our wedding day.
