We had the absolute honor of working with Gillian, and she is truly the most insanely talented photographer. From the very beginning, she took such great care to listen to us, understand our vision, and make sure we felt at ease every step of the way. We wanted a hands-off, documentary/editorial approach, and she blended everything into the perfect mix of exactly what we hoped for. On our wedding day, she brought the most fun, uplifting spirit—our entire bridal party adored her! She followed our shot lists perfectly while still capturing so many candid, magical moments we didn’t even know we wanted. Her film photos are absolutely stunning, and she made our photo dreams come true.
We also did an engagement shoot with Gillian, which was just as incredible—the photos were beautiful, and it was truly a pleasure getting to know her before the wedding. On the big day, she was by my side from start to finish, and having such wonderful rapport with her made the experience all the more special. She is everything you could hope for in a photographer—talented, genuine, and a true joy to have by your side.
Choosing Gillian will be the best and easiest decision you make. The hardest decision will be choosing which beautiful photos of hers to post online!! -

Mexican Wedding
Gill was amazing! She was available at all times, she took pictures from different angles. She was at hour wedding on time and left after most people were gone.
We loved every picture she took.

AMAZING Engagement photographer
Gillian made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She has such a creative eye and was happy to go speed walk down a dirt trail with us to catch the perfect lighting and location. The way she captured the light, all the details, and warm colors in the photos truly went above and beyond our expectations. We cannot wait for her to take our wedding photos and we have no doubt that everyone will feel loved and comfortable with her, they and us are in good hands! -

My wife and I had an incredible experience with Gillian. She captured both our engagement session as well as our wedding. Phenomenal
Gillian was an absolutely phenomenal photographer! She was always easily available and very helpful in creating a plan for our special day. She made us feel like we were her only priority each time we met with her beforehand. On the day of, she did a fantastic job capturing every special moment just as we wanted! She went above and beyond our expectations and we had so much fun with her. She made us feel confident and excited and did a great job embracing our personalities. Our golden hour pictures perfectly captured our love and joy! We highly recommend Gillian for anybody who wants a friendly, fun, and professional wedding photography experience! -

Gillian has a WONDERFUL personality. She is so kind and she is an amazing person in front and behind the camera. I am someone who is not comfortable with a camera on me, but she makes me feel like I have been modeling my whole life! She cares about what editing style you want, what little details you care about, and is very prompt. She came highly recommended by word of mouth and I can say she is amazing!!

Exceptional talent and a pure joy to work with
Gillian is an amazing photographer who knows how to capture your special day. Her professionalism and ability to gel with all personalities adds to the joy of the day. She balances her perspectives throughout the event capturing the big moments and the candid moments.
I have been a professional photographer since 2005 and hiring someone I could trust with my vision was a big decision and I could not have chosen a better person. Absolutely loved the finished product! She's the best! -

Gillian helped our pandemic wedding to still feel special!
Gillian was incredibly easy to work with! We had our wedding with 10 people in a backyard (because of pandemic restrictions), and she helped me to still feel special and beautiful despite not getting to have the wedding I had dreamed of.
Our photos form that day are so incredibly special to me. She captured all the special moments where love, laughs, and tears where shared! -

Gillian was wonderful to work with and helped us feel at ease on our big day! She met with us beforehand so we could all be on the same page for important shots and the overall creative vision for our wedding photos. I felt supported through the process, and our photos turned out amazing! Out of all the stresses we had leading up to the wedding working with Gillian was not one of them! You need to book Gillian. Incredibly prices, fabulous quality, responsive, professional, easy to work with, and really makes your dreams a reality. You could give her a style of photo from Pinterest that you have been wanting and she can make it happen. She is so versatile and really listens to what the Bride and Groom are desiring for their wedding. She made it feel like my husband and I were having our own romantic moment and that she was just capturing it. I look back at our photos and remember the actual laughter and love we were feeling. It didn't feel posed or uncomfortable, it felt natural and joyful and brought our memories to life. She is such a hard worker and gave us above and beyond what we asked for, with so many extra photos and even hired a second shooter from her pocket to capture our wedding better. We got our photos back so fast and literally will never hire a different photographer. Book her now, don't even hesitate. Thank you BEYOND Gillian! -

Professional and Charming
Gillian Rea has that rare mix of professionalism and friendliness that makes her perfect for wedding photography. Not only can she listen to and execute the vision of a wedding couple, but she molds that with her own expert eye, directing her subjects to enhance that couple's vision. Her skill and easygoing attitude lift a burden off an overwhelming wedding day.
A few qualities to note from my wife and my experience with Gillian as our photographer. Our wedding ceremony was in a Catholic Extraordinary Form Mass (Latin Mass). Though I'm sure this was unfamiliar for Gillian, she was respectful of the ritual and reverence of the ceremony, and was able to take excellent pictures within the boundaries of the setting. Before and after the ceremony, she gave excellent direction to the wedding party to get fun and formal pictures (e.g. goofy groomsmen poses, and romantic backdrops for us newlyweds). She was also able to handle some unexpected moments - such as a random passerby wanting to take a picture with me and my wife! At the reception, she took all the right pictures at all the right moments. She was charming with our guests. (She especially charmed, and was charmed by, our flower girl who, like the mouse in Goodnight Moon, managed to find her way into just about every photograph at the reception! It's adorable to look back on!) After the wedding, the turnaround to get our pictures was timely, especially since they were edited. She included not only the best versions of full-color pictures, but also other fun versions of choice shots, such as black-and-white or color-isolated versions. The full-color prints were especially excellent. I don't have my wife's eye (she's a painter), but we both agree that the colors, contrast, framing, and clarity were comparable to any other professional wedding pictures we've seen, and better than any amateur hobbyist. Throughout, Gillian was communicative and responsive, which made working with her a breeze.
We highly recommend booking Gillian Rea as your wedding photographer. -

Excellent Experience
We began looking for a wedding photographer with no real 'plan' of what we wanted for our special day. We trusted Gillian fully to steer the experience and we are so grateful for her attention to detail, organization, and overall enthusiasm for the big day! My family still mentions how amazing she was with making everyone comfortable get photographed!
The photos speak for themselves, the quality is just breath taking. We printed ALL of the photos immediately! She did a tremendous job capturing the love in the air and the emotions of the room!
Highly highly recommend. -
