I never leave reviews - but I wish I could give her more than 5 stars because Gesina truly hit it out of the park. My husband and I spent months looking for the right photographer, but neither of us felt we had found our match. There are so many great photographers out there, but, of course, I wanted our pictures to be perfect (I am incredibly picky). I looked through dozens and dozens of local photographers’ portfolios, and nothing I saw really felt right. I was beginning to lose hope until my mom stumbled upon Gesina Marie Photography. I was immediately blown away by the quality and style of her photos - she really stood out amongst everyone else. Not only was I impressed with the photos, but the second we connected via telephone, I knew she was the one. Not only was she kind, patient, and incredibly warm, but she made everything so easy and did not once make us feel stressed, uneasy, or that she just wanted our business. I truly felt that she wanted to make our day special, capture our love, and tell our story with her photography - and she did just that. She worked with us on our specific requests and was accommodating enough to figure out a price we were all happy with. On the day of the wedding, I honestly felt that she was meant to be there. Her presence was incredibly calming and it really made our wedding night more fun and relaxing. The pictures came out WAY better than I had ever hoped for - they are timeless, elegant, filled with emotion, and capture every moment and detail. I would hire her again in a heart beat.
I can 100% guarantee will not be disappointed if you choose Gesina Marie Photography - she is hands down the absolute best you can hope for in a photographer. -

Gesina was the absolute best photographer! Her work is stunning, but what really sets her apart is her personality—she brought such a laid-back, joyful energy to our day that made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. She had us laughing, relaxed, and truly ourselves, which shines through in every photo.
She was involved in all the right ways—helpful and present, but never overwhelming—so the photography never felt like it took over the day. I’ve told so many people that I would genuinely love to be her friend outside of our wedding events because she’s just that wonderful to be around.
We couldn’t be happier with our photos or our experience. Highly recommend Gesina to anyone looking for not only gorgeous pictures but also an amazing person to share their day with! -

I can't express enough how thrilled we are with our experience with Gensina. Five stars don't seem enough to capture the level of professionalism, talent, and dedication that Gesina brought to our special day.
From our initial consultation to the final delivery of our wedding photos, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Gesina not only captured the essence of our day but managed to infuse it with her own artistic brand that brought our memories to life.

Gesina was absolutely wonderful! She proactively worked with me on the schedule details of the day and was amazing throughout the whole wedding starting with getting ready until the end of the night. She truly has an eye for both staged and candidate photos. I loved looking through every single one and making custom albums for all of our friends and family. Her editing atheistic is simply beautiful and perfectly matches everything we hoped for in our wedding photos! -

If you are looking for a photographer that goes above and beyond hire Gesina Marie. From start to finish there was not one moment that we couldn't count on Gesina and her team. She is incredibly organized and provides couples a document to assist in organizing the day of, she works diligently to create a personalized day of timeline (even called the Vail gondola operator for us!) and she is there every step of the way the week and day of. Katie Dahle was the associate photographer for our wedding and I could not have made it through the day without her. When the rain started coming down she came up with backup plans quickly, calmed my nerves and kept a giant smile on her face the entire day. These two were just an ideal team to hire and so thankful we did. Their work stands for itself as our sneak peak has had jaws hitting the floor. Just stunning photos. Will hire them again and again for other events and life milestones! -

Gesina was amazing! From the first time my husband and I talked with her on the phone we really connected with her. She was so laid back, but it was very clear immediately from talking with her and looking at her portfolios she knows what she's doing! On the wedding day, she and her second shooter did an amazing job. They got the most beautiful shots at our first look. Then, at our ceremony and reception, they captured everything perfectly! They were super professional, and their teamwork kept family photos moving efficiently without being overbearing or making it stressful. Working with them was a blast. And that was before we even got to see our photos! Gesina got us a sneak peek just a few days after the wedding, and we were already in love with them. When we got the whole album back (which was in the time frame she had stated it would be), we were absolutely amazed! She did such a good job capturing our day and our personalities. There were some classic shots mixed with artsy poses mixed with fun candids. If you are looking for a photographer who does it all, Gesina is it! -

Gesina and Boris did a phenomenal job on our wedding photos! We couldn’t be happier with how they captured our big day. They are professional, creative, and FUN to work with. Gesina and Boris were so amazing to work with! We booked Gesina Marie Photography over a year before our wedding to make sure that we could have her as our photographer. She was so flexible in rescheduling our engagement shoot that got rained out AND in working with us when COVID forced us to change our original wedding plans to a smaller ceremony. When we saw our photographs from our wedding day, we were BLOWN AWAY. They managed to capture every moment of the day. Her and Boris were so friendly and made everyone feel so comfortable. They were great at giving direction for poses, and also at capturing the candid shots as well. I am not joking when I say everyone at our wedding ceremony complimented the two of them and are OBSESSED with how our photos turned out. Hire her - you will be in great hands for whatever event you are needing photographed! We will definitely be using Gesina Marie in the future! :) -

Now, the photos are absolutely S T U N N I N G. They are genuinely so much more than we could have ever expected and we are in love with every single photo. Gesina and Boris will make every effort to capture every special moment of your special day. If we had to do it all over again, we would choose Gesina without hesitation.
The pictures speak for themselves but as bonus it was a blessing to meet Gesina and Boris. Gesina made the planning process SO EASY, giving great suggestions and coming up with plans to make the day and photos go so smooth. We chose not to do a first look and Gesina didn’t skip a beat in making that work flawlessly.

Our Best Wedding Vendor
Gesina and her husband, Boris were amazing! We hired them for our engagement and wedding photos. She was extremely flexible with our unique requests - engagement photos in a blizzard, coming to rehearsal for our Greek Orthodox wedding to meet with our priest, working with a lengthier time frame for our wedding day, etc. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable - which we were afraid we were going to feel very awkward. And last, but not least, we loved the work and style of her photos! They are timeless (not Instagram filtery) This was very important to us in choosing a photographer. My husband and I are both architects, so we are extremely particular in style, details, and, and vision. Gesina definitely worked with us, and exceeded our already high expectations. I trusted her to capture our day with professionalism, fun, and an artistic vision. And she did beyond that! Would definitely recommend her and we'll certainly use her again for our future family events. -

Gesina perfectly captured our wedding day
We are so happy we had Gesina as our photographer for our wedding day. We said we cared most about candid photos and didn't want to feel like we were taking so many pictures that we weren't enjoying our own party. I also told her that I was worried my husband and I would be awkward having our photos taken. Gesina assured me that we would be great and she was right. She and her team were major part of why our wedding day was so fun and relaxed. And we absolutely love how the photos turned out. She brilliantly captured us, our families, the beauty of our venue, and perhaps most impressively, the spirit of the day. She not only made us look good but the happiness I remember feeling that day is obvious throughout the album. There is a good mix of candids, posed family photos, and more artistic shots. I can't recommend her enough! -

I cannot express enough how grateful we are to have had Gigi and Boris capture our wedding. They are kind, welcoming, and professional. They rounded up our families for the big group photos with such ease. They made us feel magical and special as we took our sunset photos. Our photo shoot with GG & Hannah was so much fun and very stress free! In our 30 minutes with them, we had several different background and poses! We also received our photos within 2 weeks which was a huge plus! The pictures are FANTASTIC; I will never be able to choose a favorite! -
