I never leave reviews - but I wish I could give her more than 5 stars because Gesina truly hit it out of the park. My husband and I spent months looking for the right photographer, but neither of us felt we had found our match. There are so many great photographers out there, but, of course, I wanted our pictures to be perfect (I am incredibly picky). I looked through dozens and dozens of local photographers’ portfolios, and nothing I saw really felt right. I was beginning to lose hope until my mom stumbled upon Gesina Marie Photography. I was immediately blown away by the quality and style of her photos - she really stood out amongst everyone else. Not only was I impressed with the photos, but the second we connected via telephone, I knew she was the one. Not only was she kind, patient, and incredibly warm, but she made everything so easy and did not once make us feel stressed, uneasy, or that she just wanted our business. I truly felt that she wanted to make our day special, capture our love, and tell our story with her photography - and she did just that. She worked with us on our specific requests and was accommodating enough to figure out a price we were all happy with. On the day of the wedding, I honestly felt that she was meant to be there. Her presence was incredibly calming and it really made our wedding night more fun and relaxing. The pictures came out WAY better than I had ever hoped for - they are timeless, elegant, filled with emotion, and capture every moment and detail. I would hire her again in a heart beat.

If you are looking for a photographer that goes above and beyond hire Gesina Marie. From start to finish there was not one moment that we couldn't count on Gesina and her team. She is incredibly organized and provides couples a document to assist in organizing the day of, she works diligently to create a personalized day of timeline (even called the Vail gondola operator for us!) and she is there every step of the way the week and day of. Katie Dahle was the associate photographer for our wedding and I could not have made it through the day without her. When the rain started coming down she came up with backup plans quickly, calmed my nerves and kept a giant smile on her face the entire day. These two were just an ideal team to hire and so thankful we did. Their work stands for itself as our sneak peak has had jaws hitting the floor. Just stunning photos. Will hire them again and again for other events and life milestones!

Gesina was amazing! From the first time my husband and I talked with her on the phone we really connected with her. She was so laid back, but it was very clear immediately from talking with her and looking at her portfolios she knows what she's doing! On the wedding day, she and her second shooter did an amazing job. They got the most beautiful shots at our first look. Then, at our ceremony and reception, they captured everything perfectly! They were super professional, and their teamwork kept family photos moving efficiently without being overbearing or making it stressful. Working with them was a blast. And that was before we even got to see our photos! Gesina got us a sneak peek just a few days after the wedding, and we were already in love with them. When we got the whole album back (which was in the time frame she had stated it would be), we were absolutely amazed! She did such a good job capturing our day and our personalities. There were some classic shots mixed with artsy poses mixed with fun candids. If you are looking for a photographer who does it all, Gesina is it!

Gesina photographed our engagement and wedding. We were very happy with her service and the quality of the photos. At first we did not plan to do an engagement session, but we are so happy that we did. It was a great way to warm up to taking pictures since we had never done so as a couple. Gesina made us feel comfortable and brought out our natural smiles and laughter. We were married inside a church and she was able to capture those unique moments and provided coverage of various angles with photography assistants. On the wedding day, Gesina was very flexible as we had unexpected snow in May. She pivoted to capture family photos inside and still made sure to get great couples shots outside despite the change in weather. She was very kind and patient with every request we had, such as taking photos with individual family members. We could not have asked for a better photographer!

Can not write enough good words about this girl!! Not only did she travel 1.5hrs away for our engagement photos (important place for us and our family) but she took the most amazing photos. She was very laid back and made taking the photos awkward. Our Wedding photos exceeded all expectations. Great communicator and very honest. My favorite vendor of our wedding!
